withhold Hear us, my lord: thou [art] a mighty prince
among us: in the choice of our sepulchres bury thy dead; none of
us shall {withhold} from thee his sepulchre, but that thou
mayest bury thy dead.

withhold <2SA13 -13> And I, whither shall I cause my shame to
go? and as for thee, thou shalt be as one of the fools in Israel.
Now therefore, I pray thee, speak unto the king; for he will
not {withhold} me from thee.

withhold If] we assay to commune with thee, wilt thou
be grieved? but who can {withhold} himself from speaking?

withhold {Withhold} not thou thy tender mercies from
me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually
preserve me.

withhold For the LORD God [is] a sun and shield: the
LORD will give grace and glory: no good [thing] will he
{withhold} from them that walk uprightly.

withhold {Withhold} not good from them to whom it is
due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do [it].

withhold {Withhold} not correction from the child:
for [if] thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.

withhold In the morning sow thy seed, and in the
evening {withhold} not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether
shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both [shall
be] alike good.

withhold {Withhold} thy foot from being unshod, and
thy throat from thirst: but thou saidst, There is no hope: no;
for I have loved strangers, and after them will I go.
