whirlwind <2KI2 -1> And it came to pass, when the LORD would
take up Elijah into heaven by a {whirlwind}, that Elijah went
with Elisha from Gilgal.

whirlwind <2KI2 -11> And it came to pass, as they still went on,
and talked, that, behold, [there appeared] a chariot of fire,
and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah
went up by a {whirlwind} into heaven.

whirlwind Out of the south cometh the {whirlwind}:
and cold out of the north.

whirlwind Then the LORD answered Job out of the
{whirlwind}, and said,

whirlwind Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the
{whirlwind}, and said,

whirlwind Before your pots can feel the thorns, he
shall take them away as with a {whirlwind}, both living, and in
[his] wrath.

whirlwind When your fear cometh as desolation, and
your destruction cometh as a {whirlwind}; when distress and
anguish cometh upon you.

whirlwind As the {whirlwind} passeth, so [is] the
wicked no [more]: but the righteous [is] an everlasting
foundation.

whirlwind Whose arrows [are] sharp, and all their
bows bent, their horses' hoofs shall be counted like flint, and
their wheels like a {whirlwind}.

whirlwind The nations shall rush like the rushing of
many waters: but [God] shall rebuke them, and they shall flee
far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains
before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the {whirlwind}.

whirlwind Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they
shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the
earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither,
and the {whirlwind} shall take them away as stubble.

whirlwind Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall
carry them away, and the {whirlwind} shall scatter them: and
thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, [and] shalt glory in the Holy
One of Israel.

whirlwind For, behold, the LORD will come with fire,
and with his chariots like a {whirlwind}, to render his anger
with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

whirlwind Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his
chariots [shall be] as a {whirlwind}: his horses are swifter
than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are spoiled.

whirlwind Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone
forth in fury, even a grievous {whirlwind}: it shall fall
grievously upon the head of the wicked.

whirlwind Behold, a {whirlwind} of the LORD is gone
forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall
grievously upon the head of the wicked.

whirlwind Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil
shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great {whirlwind}
shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.

whirlwind Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth
forth with fury, a continuing {whirlwind}: it shall fall with
pain upon the head of the wicked.

whirlwind Behold, the {whirlwind} of the LORD goeth
forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain
upon the head of the wicked.

whirlwind And I looked, and, behold, a {whirlwind}
came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding
itself, and a brightness [was] about it, and out of the midst
thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

whirlwind And at the time of the end shall the king
of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come
against him like a {whirlwind}, with chariots, and with horsemen,
and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, an

d shall overflow and pass over.

whirlwind For they have sown the wind, and they shall
reap the {whirlwind}: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no
meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.

whirlwind Therefore they shall be as the morning
cloud, and as the early dew that passeth away, as the chaff
[that] is driven with the {whirlwind} out of the floor, and as
the smoke out of the chimney.

whirlwind But I will kindle a fire in the wall of
Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting
in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the
{whirlwind}:

whirlwind The LORD [is] slow to anger, and great in
power, and will not at all acquit [the wicked]: the LORD hath
his way in the {whirlwind} and in the storm, and the clouds
[are] the dust of his feet.

whirlwind Thou didst strike through with his staves
the head of his villages: they came out as a {whirlwind} to
scatter me: their rejoicing [was] as to devour the poor secretly.

whirlwind But I scattered them with a {whirlwind}
among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was
desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned:
for they laid the pleasant land desolate.
