swear And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning

the which I did {swear} to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to

Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I [am] the LORD.

swear Or if a soul {swear}, pronouncing with [his]
lips to

do evil, or to do good, whatsoever [it be] that a man shall

pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth
[of

it], then he shall be guilty in one of these.

swear And ye shall not {swear} by my name falsely,

neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I [am] the LORD.

swear If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or {swear} an

oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word,
he

shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.

swear Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him,

and shalt {swear} by his name.

swear Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; him shalt
thou

serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and {swear} by his name.

swear Now therefore, I pray you, {swear} unto me by
the

LORD, since I have showed you kindness, that ye will also show

kindness unto my father's house, and give me a true token:

swear And the men said unto her, We [will be]
blameless

of this thine oath which thou hast made us {swear}.

swear And if thou utter this our business, then we
will

be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to {swear}.

swear That ye come not among these nations, these that

remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods,

nor cause to {swear} [by them], neither serve them, nor bow

yourselves unto them:

swear And they said unto him, We are come down to
bind

thee, that we may deliver thee into the hand of the Philistines.
And

Samson said unto them, {Swear} unto me, that ye will not fall
upon

me yourselves.

swear <1SA20 -17> And Jonathan caused David to {swear} again,

because he loved him: for he loved him as he loved his own soul.

swear <1SA24 -21> {Swear} now therefore unto me by the LORD, that

thou wilt not cut off my seed after me, and that thou wilt not

destroy my name out of my father's house.

swear <1SA30 -15> And David said to him, Canst thou bring me
down to

this company? And he said, {Swear} unto me by God, that thou wilt

neither kill me, nor deliver me into the hands of my master, and
I

will bring thee down to this company.

swear <2SA19 -7> Now therefore arise, go forth, and speak

comfortably unto thy servants: for I {swear} by the LORD, if
thou go

not forth, there will not tarry one with thee this night: and
that

will be worse unto thee than all the evil that befell thee fr

om thy youth until now.

swear <1KI1 -13> Go and get thee in unto king David, and say unto

him, Didst not thou, my lord, O king, {swear} unto thine
handmaid,

saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he
shall

sit upon my throne? why then doth Adonijah reign?

swear <1KI1 -51> And it was told Solomon, saying, Behold,
Adonijah

feareth king Solomon: for, lo, he hath caught hold on the horns
of

the altar, saying, Let king Solomon {swear} unto me to day that
he

will not slay his servant with the sword.

swear <1KI2 -42> And the king sent and called for Shimei, and
said

unto him, Did I not make thee to {swear} by the LORD, and
protested

unto thee, saying, Know for a certain, on the day thou goest out,

and walkest abroad any whither, that thou shalt surely

die? and thou saidst unto me, The word [that] I have heard [is]

good. s wear <1KI8 -31> If any man trespass against his
neighbour,

and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to {swear}, and the
oath

come before thine altar in this house: swear <2CH6 -22> If a man
sin

against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to make him

{swear}, and the oath come before thine altar in this house;
swear

<2CH36 -13> And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who

had made him {swear} by God: but he stiffened his neck, and
hardened

his heart from turning unto the LORD God of Israel. swear -5>

Then arose Ezra, and made the chief priests, the Levites, and all

Israel, to {swear} that they should do according to this word.
And

they sware. swear And I contended with them, and
cursed

them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and

made them {swear} by God, [saying], Ye shall not give your
daughters

unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for

yourselves. swear In that day shall he {swear}, saying,
I

will not be an healer; for in my house [is] neither bread nor

clothing: make me not a ruler of the people. swear In

that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the
language

of Canaan, and {swear} to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called,

The city of destruction. swear I have sworn by
myself,

the word is gone out of my mouth [in] righteousness, and shall
not

return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall

{swear}. swear Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, which
are

called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the
waters

of Judah, which {swear} by the name of the LORD, and make
mention of

the God of Israel, [but] not in truth, nor in righteousness.

swear That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall

bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the
earth

shall {swear} by the God of truth; because the former troubles
are

forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.

swear And thou shalt {swear}, The LORD liveth, in
truth,

in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless

themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.

swear And though they say, The LORD liveth; surely they

{swear} falsely.

swear Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and

{swear} falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other

gods whom ye know not;

swear And it shall come to pass, if they will
diligently

learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The LORD
liveth;

as they taught my people to {swear} by Baal; then shall they be

built in the midst of my people.

swear And it shall come to pass, if they will
diligently

learn the ways of my people, to {swear} by my name, The LORD
liveth;

as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be
built

in the midst of my people.

swear But if ye will not hear these words, I {swear}
by

myself, saith the LORD, that this house shall become a
desolation.

swear And hast given them this land, which thou didst

{swear} to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk
and

honey;

swear Though thou, Israel, play the harlot, [yet] let
not

Judah offend; and come not ye unto Gilgal, neither go ye up to

Bethaven, nor {swear}, The LORD liveth.

swear They that {swear} by the sin of Samaria, and
say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth;
even they shall fall, and never rise up again.

swear And them that worship the host of heaven upon
the housetops; and them that worship [and] that swear by the
LORD, and that {swear} by Malcham;

swear And them that worship the host of heaven upon
the housetops; and them that worship [and] that {swear} by the
LORD, and that swear by Malcham;

swear But I say unto you, {Swear} not at all; neither
by heaven; for it is God's throne:

swear Neither shalt thou {swear} by thy head, because
thou canst not make one hair white or black.

swear Woe unto you, [ye] blind guides, which say,
Whosoever shall {swear} by the temple, it is nothing; but
whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!

swear Woe unto you, [ye] blind guides, which say,
Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but
whosoever shall {swear} by the gold of the temple, he is a
debtor!

swear And, Whosoever shall {swear} by the altar, it
is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it,
he is guilty.

swear Whoso therefore shall {swear} by the altar,
sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.

swear And whoso shall {swear} by the temple,
sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.

swear And he that shall {swear} by heaven, sweareth
by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.

swear Then began he to curse and to {swear},
[saying], I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.

swear But he began to curse and to {swear}, saying],
I know not this man of whom ye speak.

swear For when God made promise to Abraham, because
he could {swear} by no greater, he sware by himself,

swear For men verily {swear} by the greater: and an
oath for confirmation is] to them an end of all strife.

swear But above all things, my brethren, {swear} not,
neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other
oath: but let your yea be yea; and your] nay, nay; lest ye fall
into condemnation.
