swarest Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy

servants, to whom thou {swarest} by thine own self, and saidst
unto

them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all
this

land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, an

d they shall inherit [it] for ever.

swarest Have I conceived all this people? have I

begotten them, that thou shouldest say unto me, Carry them in thy

bosom, as a nursing father beareth the sucking child, unto the
land

which thou {swarest} unto their fathers?

swarest Look down from thy holy habitation, from
heaven,

and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given
us,

as thou {swarest} unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk

and honey.

swarest <1KI1 -17> And she said unto him, My lord, thou
{swarest} by

the LORD thy God unto thine handmaid, [saying], Assuredly Solomon

thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne.
