stubble So the people were scattered abroad throughout

all the land of Egypt to gather {stubble} instead of straw.

stubble And in the greatness of thine excellency thou

hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest
forth

thy wrath, [which] consumed them as {stubble}.

stubble Wilt thou break a leaf driven to and fro? and

wilt thou pursue the dry {stubble}?

stubble They are as {stubble} before the wind, and as

chaff that the storm carrieth away.

stubble The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones
are

turned with him into {stubble}.

stubble Darts are counted as {stubble}: he laugheth
at

the shaking of a spear.

stubble O my God, make them like a wheel; as the

{stubble} before the wind.

stubble Therefore as the fire devoureth the {stubble},

and the flame consumeth the chaff, [so] their root shall be as

rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they
have

cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the

word of the Holy One of Israel.

stubble Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth

{stubble}: your breath, [as] fire, shall devour you.

stubble Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they
shall

not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth:
and

he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the

whirlwind shall take them away as {stubble}.

stubble Who raised up the righteous [man] from the
east,

called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made
[him]

rule over kings? he gave [them] as the dust to his sword, [and]
as

driven {stubble} to his bow.

stubble Behold, they shall be as {stubble}; the fire

shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the
power of

the flame: [there shall] not [be] a coal to warm at, [nor] fire
to

sit before it.

stubble Therefore will I scatter them as the
{stubble}

that passeth away by the wind of the wilderness.

stubble Like the noise of chariots on the tops of

mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that

devoureth the {stubble}, as a strong people set in battle array.

stubble And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and
the

house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for {stubble}, and

they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not
be

[any] remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath

spoken [it].

s

tubble For while [they be] folden together [as]
thorns,

and while they are drunken [as] drunkards, they shall be
devoured as

{stubble} fully dry.

stubble For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn
as an

oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be

{stubble}: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the

LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor

branch.

tubble <1CO3 -12> Now if any man build upon this foundation gold,

silver, precious stones, wood, hay, {stubble};
