strong Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou
see

what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a {strong} hand shall he let

them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his
land.

be in thy mouth: for with a {strong} hand hath the LORD brought

all

that night, and made the sea dry [land], and the waters were

divided.

strong Do not drink wine nor {strong} drink, thou, nor

thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the

congregation, lest ye die: [it shall be] a statute for ever

throughout your generations:

strong He shall separate [himself] from wine and

drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong

drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist

grapes, or dried.

and possessed his land from Arnon unto Jabbok, even unto the

children of Ammon: for the border of the children of Ammon [was]

{strong}.

strong And he looked on the Kenites, and took up his

parable, and said, {Strong} is thy dwellingplace, and thou
puttest

thy nest in a rock.

strong And the drink offering thereof [shall be] the

fourth [part] of an hin for the one lamb: in the holy [place]
shalt

thou cause the {strong} wine to be poured unto the LORD [for] a

drink offering.

strong From Aroer, which [is] by the brink of the
river

of Arnon, and [from] the city that [is] by the river, even unto

Gilead, there was not one city too {strong} for us: the LORD our
God

delivered all unto us:

strong Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments
which

I command you this day, that ye may be {strong}, and go in and

possess the land, whither ye go to possess it;

strong And thou shalt bestow that money for
whatsoever

thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or
for

{strong} drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou

must go with this people unto the land which the LORD hath sworn

unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt caus

e them to inherit it.

children of Israel into the land which I sware unto them: and I

be with thee.

strong Have not I commanded thee? Be {strong} and of a

good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the
LORD

thy God [is] with thee whithersoever thou goest.

strong Whosoever [he be] that doth rebel against thy

commandment, and will not hearken unto thy words in all that thou

commandest him, he shall be put to death: only be {strong} and
of a

good courage.

strong And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be

dismayed, be {strong} and of good courage: for thus shall the
LORD

do to all your enemies against whom ye fight.

strong As yet I [am as] {strong} this day as [I was]
in

the day that Moses sent me: as my strength [was] then, even so
[is]

my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.

strong Yet it came to pass, when the children of
Israel

were waxen {strong}, that they put the Canaanites to tribute; but

outgoings thereof are at the sea from the coast to Achzib:

strong For the LORD hath driven out from before you
great

nations and {strong}: but [as for] you, no man hath been able to

stand before you unto this day.

strong And it came to pass, when Israel was {strong},

that they put the Canaanites to tribute, and did not utterly
drive

them out.

strong And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel:

[and] because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them
the

dens which [are] in the mountains, and caves, and {strong} holds.

and if of judgment, who shall set me a time [to plead]?

strong Thou art become cruel to me: with thy {strong}

hand thou opposest thyself against me.

strong He is chastened also with pain upon his bed,
and

the multitude of his bones with {strong} [pain]:

strong Hast thou with him spread out the sky, [which
is]

{strong}, [and] as a molten looking glass?

strong She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the

crag of the rock, and the {strong} place.

strong His bones [are as] {strong} pieces of brass;
his

bones [are] like bars of iron.

strong He croucheth, [and] humbleth himself, that the

poor may fall by his {strong} ones.

strong He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from

him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?

righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

as an high wall in his own conceit.

strong A brother offended [is harder to be won] than
a

{strong} city: and [their] contentions [are] like the bars of a

castle.

strong Wine [is] a mocker, {strong} drink [is] raging:

and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

strong A gift in secret pacifieth anger: and a
reward in

the bosom {strong} wrath.

strong A wise man [is] {strong}; yea, a man of
knowledge

increaseth strength.

strong The ants [are] a people not {strong}, yet they

prepare their meat in the summer;

strong It is] not for kings, O Lemuel, [it is] not for

kings to drink wine; nor for princes {strong} drink:

strong Give {strong} drink unto him that is ready to

perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.

strong I returned, and saw under the sun, that the
race

[is] not to the swift, nor the battle to the {strong}, neither
yet

bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor
yet

favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth

to them all.

strong In the day when the keepers of the house shall

tremble, and the {strong} men shall bow themselves, and the
grinders

cease because they are few, and those that look out of the
windows

be darkened,

strong Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal
upon

thine arm: for love [is] {strong} as death; jealousy [is] cruel
as

the grave: the coals thereof [are] coals of fire, [which hath a]

most vehement flame.

strong And the {strong} shall be as tow, and the
maker of

it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall

quench [them].

strong Woe unto them that rise up early in the
morning,

[that] they may follow {strong} drink; that continue until night,

[till] wine inflame them!

strong Woe unto [them that are] mighty to drink wine,
and

men of strength to mingle {strong} drink:

strong Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon

them the waters of the river, {strong} and many, [even] the king
of

Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his

channels, and go over all his banks:

strong For the LORD spake thus to me with a {strong}

hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this

people, saying,

strong In that day shall his {strong} cities be as a

forsaken bough, and an uppermost branch, which they left because
of

the children of Israel: and there shall be desolation.

strong He stretched out his hand over the sea, he
shook

the kingdoms: the LORD hath given a commandment against the
merchant

[city], to destroy the {strong} holds thereof.

strong They shall not drink wine with a song; {strong}

drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.

strong Therefore shall the {strong} people glorify
thee,

the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.

strong In that day shall this song be sung in the
land of

Judah; We have a {strong} city; salvation will [God] appoint
[for]

walls and bulwarks.

strong In that day the LORD with his sore and great
and

{strong} sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even

leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that

[is] in the sea.

strong Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and {strong}
one,

[which] as a tempest of hail [and] a destroying storm, as a
flood of

mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the

hand.

sion, they stumble [in] judgment.

they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with

{strong} drink.

strong Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and

stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because [they are] many;
and

in horsemen, because they are very {strong}; but they look not
unto

the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!

strong And he shall pass over to his {strong} hold for

fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign, saith the
LORD,

whose fire [is] in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.

strong Say to them [that are] of a fearful heart, Be

{strong}, fear not: behold, your God will come [with] vengeance,

[even] God [with] a recompense; he will come and save you.

strong Behold, the Lord GOD will come with {strong}

[hand], and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward [is]
with

him, and his work before him.

strong Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath

created these [things], that bringeth out their host by number:
he

calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that

[he is] {strong} in power; not one faileth.

strong Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring
forth

your {strong} [reasons], saith the King of Jacob.

strong Therefore will I divide him [a portion] with
the

great, and he shall divide the spoil with the {strong}; because
he

hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the

transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made i

ntercession for the transgressors.

strong Come ye, [say they], I will fetch wine, and we

will fill ourselves with {strong} drink; and to morrow shall be
as

this day, [and] much more abundant.

strong A little one shall become a thousand, and a

one a {strong} nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

the war?

that know his name, say, How is the {strong} staff broken, [and]

beautiful rod!

strong Thou daughter that dost inhabit Dibon, come
down

from [thy] glory, and sit in thirst; for the spoiler of Moab
shall

come upon thee, [and] he shall destroy thy {strong} holds.

strong Kerioth is taken, and the {strong} holds are

surprised, and the mighty men's hearts in Moab at that day shall
be

as the heart of a woman in her pangs.

strong Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the

swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the {strong}: but I

will suddenly make him run away from her: and who [is] a chosen

[man, that] I may appoint over her? for who [is] like me? and

who will appoint me the time? and who [is] that shepherd that
will

stand before me?

strong Their Redeemer [is] {strong}; the LORD of
hosts

[is] his name: he shall thoroughly plead their cause, that he may

give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.

strong Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the

swelling of Jordan unto the habitation of the {strong}: but I
will

make them suddenly run away from her: and who [is] a chosen [man,

ho will appoint me the time? and who [is] that shepherd that will

stand before me?

strong Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon,

make the watch {strong}, set up the watchmen, prepare the
ambushes:

for the LORD hath both devised and done that which he spake
against

the inhabitants of Babylon.

strong The Lord hath swallowed up all the habitations
of

Jacob, and hath not pitied: he hath thrown down in his wrath the

{strong} holds of the daughter of Judah; he hath brought [them]
down

to the ground: he hath polluted the kingdom and the pr

inces thereof.

strong The Lord was as an enemy: he hath swallowed up

Israel, he hath swallowed up all her palaces: he hath destroyed
his

{strong} holds, and hath increased in the daughter of Judah
mourning

and lamentation.

strong Behold, I have made thy face strong against
their

faces, and thy forehead {strong} against their foreheads.

strong And she had {strong} rods for the sceptres of

them that bare rule, and her stature was exalted among the thick

to the ground, and the east wind dried up her fruit: her {strong}

rods were broken and withered; the fire consumed them.

strong And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches,

[which] hath devoured her fruit, so that she hath no {strong} rod

[to be] a sceptre to rule. This [is] a lamentation, and shall be
for

a lamentation.

strong Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be

{strong}, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the LORD
have

spoken [it], and will do [it].

strong With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread
down

all thy streets: he shall slay thy people by the sword, and thy

{strong} garrisons shall go down to the ground.

strong And they shall take up a lamentation for thee,

and say to thee, How art thou destroyed, [that wast] inhabited of

seafaring men, the renowned city, which wast {strong} in the sea,

she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror [to be]

on all that haunt it!

strong Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh
king

of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put
a

roller to bind it, to make it {strong} to hold the sword.

strong Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I
[am]

God shall be {strong}, and do [exploits].

with

a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge [and] increase with
glory:

and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the
land

for gain.

strong For a nation is come up upon my land, {strong},
and

without number, whose teeth [are] the teeth of a lion, and he
hath

the cheek teeth of a great lion.

strong A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of

clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the

mountains: a great people and a {strong}; there hath not been
ever

the like, neither shall be any more after it, [even] to the year

s of many generations.

strong Like the noise of chariots on the tops of
mountains

shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth

the stubble, as a {strong} people set in battle array.

strong And the LORD shall utter his voice before his

army: for his camp [is] very great: for [he is] {strong} that

executeth his word: for the day of the LORD [is] great and very

terrible; and who can abide it?

strong Beat your plowshares into swords, and your

pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I [am] {strong}.
