spirit And the earth was without form, and void; and

darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the {Spirit} of God

be

an hundred and twenty years.

spirit And it came to pass in the morning that his

but

they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of {spirit}, and for

spirit And thou shalt speak unto all [that are] wise

hearted, whom I have filled with the {spirit} of wisdom, that
they

may make Aaron's garments to consecrate him, that he may minister

unto me in the priest's office.

spirit And I have filled him with the {spirit} of God,
in

wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all
manner of

workmanship,

spirit And they came, every one whose heart stirred
him

up, and every one whom his {spirit} made willing, [and] they
brought

the LORD'S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the

congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garme

nts.

spirit And he hath filled him with the {spirit} of
God,

in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner
of

workmanship;

spirit A man also or woman that hath a familiar

{spirit}, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they

shall stone them with stones: their blood [shall be] upon them.

spirit And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and
he

be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the {spirit} of

jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be

not defiled:

spirit And the {spirit} of jealousy come upon him,
and he

be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of

jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be

not defiled:

spirit Or when the {spirit} of jealousy cometh upon
him,

and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before
the

LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.

spirit And I will come down and talk with thee there:

and I will take of the {spirit} which [is] upon thee, and will

[it] upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with

thee, that thou bear [it] not thyself alone.

spirit And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake
unto

e.

spirit And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake
unto

unto

the seventy elders: and it came to pass, [that], when the
{spirit}

rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not ceas

e.

spirit But there remained two [of the] men in the
camp,

the name of the one [was] Eldad, and the name of the other Medad:

hey prophesied in the camp.

heart

obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as
[appeareth]

this day.

{spirit}

of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the
children

of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded
Moses.

spirit And it came to pass, when all the kings of the

Amorites, which [were] on the side of Jordan westward, and all
the

kings of the Canaanites, which [were] by the sea, heard that the

LORD had dried up the waters of Jordan from before the chil

dren of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart
melted,

neither was there {spirit} in them any more, because of the
children

of Israel.

he had done.

spirit And the {spirit} of the LORD came upon him,

his father's house.

spirit [And] when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines

shouted against him: and the {spirit} of the LORD came mightily

burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his h

ands.

spirit But God clave an hollow place that [was] in
the

jaw, and there came water thereout; and when he had drunk, his

spirit <1SA16 -14> But the spirit of the LORD departed from Saul,

and an evil {spirit} from the LORD troubled him.

spirit <1SA16 -14> But the {spirit} of the LORD departed from
Saul,

and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.

spirit <1SA16 -15> And Saul's servants said unto him, Behold now,
an

evil {spirit} from God troubleth thee.

spirit <1SA16 -16> Let our lord now command thy servants, [which

are] before thee, to seek out a man, [who is] a cunning player
on an

harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil {spirit} from God
is

upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou

shalt be well.

spirit <1SA16 -23> And it came to pass, when the [evil] spirit
from

God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his

hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil {spirit}

departed from him.

spirit <1SA16 -23> And it came to pass, when the [evil] {spirit}

from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with

spirit <1SA18 -10> And it came to pass on the morrow, that the

{spirit} from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst
of

the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and

[there was] a javelin in Saul's hand.

spirit <1SA19 -9> And the evil {spirit} from the LORD was upon
Saul,

as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David

played with [his] hand.

spirit <1SA19 -20> And Saul sent messengers to take David: and
when

they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel

standing [as] appointed over them, the {spirit} of God was upon
the

messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied.

the

prophesied,

until he came to Naioth in Ramah.

spirit <1SA28 -7> Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a

that hath a familiar {spirit}, that I may go to her, and inquire

that

hath a familiar spirit at Endor.

spirit <1SA28 -7> Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a
woman

that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and inquire of

her. And his servants said to him, Behold, [there is] a woman
that

hath a familiar {spirit} at Endor.

spirit <1SA28 -8> And Saul disguised himself, and put on other

raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the

woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the

familiar {spirit}, and bring me [him] up, whom I shall name unt

o thee.

spirit <1SA30 -12> And they gave him a piece of a cake of figs,
and

two clusters of raisins: and when he had eaten, his {spirit} came

again to him: for he had eaten no bread, nor drunk [any] water,

three days and three nights.

spirit <2SA23 -2> The {spirit} of the LORD spake by me, and his
word

[was] in my tongue.

spirit <1KI10 -5> And the meat of his table, and the sitting of
his

servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel,

and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the

house of the LORD; there was no more {spirit} in her.

spirit <1KI18 -12> And it shall come to pass, [as soon as] I am
gone

from thee, that the {spirit} of the LORD shall carry thee
whither I

know not; and [so] when I come and tell Ahab, and he cannot find

thee, he shall slay me: but I thy servant fear the LO

RD from my youth.

spirit <1KI21 -5> But Jezebel his wife came to him, and said unto

him, Why is thy {spirit} so sad, that thou eatest no bread?

spirit <1KI22 -21> And there came forth a {spirit}, and stood
before

the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.

spirit <1KI22 -22> And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he

said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying {spirit} in the
mouth

of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade [him], and

prevail also: go forth, and do so.

spirit <1KI22 -23> Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a
lying

{spirit} in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD
hath

spoken evil concerning thee.

spirit <1KI22 -24> But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near,
and

smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the
{spirit} of

the LORD from me to speak unto thee?

spirit <2KI2 -9> And it came to pass, when they were gone over,
that

Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I
be

taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double

portion of thy {spirit} be upon me.

spirit <2KI2 -15> And when the sons of the prophets which [were]
to

view at Jericho saw him, they said, The {spirit} of Elijah doth
rest

on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the

ground before him.

spirit <2KI2 -16> And they said unto him, Behold now, there be
with

thy servants fifty strong men; let them go, we pray thee, and
seek

thy master: lest peradventure the {spirit} of the LORD hath taken

him up, and cast him upon some mountain, or into some

valley. And he said, Ye shall not send.

spirit <1CH5 -26> And the God of Israel stirred up the {spirit}
of

Pul king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tilgathpilneser king of

Assyria, and he carried them away, even the Reubenites, and the

Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, and brought them unt

o Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and to the river Gozan, unto this
day.

spirit <1CH5 -26> And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of
Pul

king of Assyria, and the {spirit} of Tilgathpilneser king of

Assyria, and he carried them away, even the Reubenites, and the

Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, and brought them unt

o Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and to the river Gozan, unto this
day.

spirit <1CH10 -13> So Saul died for his transgression which he

committed against the LORD, [even] against the word of the LORD,

which he kept not, and also for asking [counsel] of [one that
had] a

familiar {spirit}, to inquire [of it];

spirit <1CH12 -18> Then the {spirit} came upon Amasai, [who was]

chief of the captains, [and he said], Thine [are we], David, and
on

thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace [be] unto thee, and
peace

[be] to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then

David received them, and made them captains of the band.

spirit <1CH28 -12> And the pattern of all that he had by the

{spirit}, of the courts of the house of the LORD, and of all the

chambers round about, of the treasuries of the house of God, and
of

the treasuries of the dedicated things:

spirit <2CH9 -4> And the meat of his table, and the sitting of
his

servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel;

his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which
he

went up into the house of the LORD; there was no more {

spirit} in her.

spirit <2CH15 -1> And the {Spirit} of God came upon Azariah the
son

of Oded:

spirit <2CH18 -20> Then there came out a {spirit}, and stood
before

the LORD, and said, I will entice him. And the LORD said unto
him,

Wherewith?

spirit <2CH18 -21> And he said, I will go out, and be a lying

{spirit} in the mouth of all his prophets. And [the LORD] said,
Thou

shalt entice [him], and thou shalt also prevail: go out, and do

[even] so.

spirit <2CH18 -22> Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a
lying

{spirit} in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the LORD hath

spoken evil against thee.

spirit <2CH18 -23> Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near,
and

smote Micaiah upon the cheek, and said, Which way went the
{Spirit}

of the LORD from me to speak unto thee?

spirit <2CH20 -14> Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the
son

of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of
the

sons of Asaph, came the {Spirit} of the LORD in the midst of the

congregation;

spirit <2CH21 -16> Moreover the LORD stirred up against Jehoram
the

{spirit} of the Philistines, and of the Arabians, that [were]
near

the Ethiopians:

spirit <2CH24 -20> And the {Spirit} of God came upon Zechariah
the

son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and
said

unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of
the

LORD, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsak

en the LORD, he hath also forsaken you.

spirit <2CH33 -6> And he caused his children to pass through the

fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times,
and

used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar

{spirit}, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the

sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

spirit <2CH36 -22> Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia,

that the word of the LORD [spoken] by the mouth of Jeremiah
might be

accomplished, the LORD stirred up the {spirit} of Cyrus king of

Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his k

ingdom, and [put it] also in writing, saying,

spirit Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia,
that

the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled,

the LORD stirred up the {spirit} of Cyrus king of Persia, that he

made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and [p

ut it] also in writing, saying,

spirit Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah
and

Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all [them] whose

{spirit} God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD

which [is] in Jerusalem.

spirit Thou gavest also thy good {spirit} to instruct

them, and withheldest not thy manna from their mouth, and gavest

them water for their thirst.

spirit Yet many years didst thou forbear them, and

testifiedst against them by thy {spirit} in thy prophets: yet
would

they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand of
the

people of the lands.

spirit Then a {spirit} passed before my face; the
hair of

my flesh stood up:

spirit For the arrows of the Almighty [are] within me,
the

poison whereof drinketh up my {spirit}: the terrors of God do set

themselves in array against me.

spirit Therefore I will not refrain my mouth; I will

speak in the anguish of my {spirit}; I will complain in the

bitterness of my soul.

spirit Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy

visitation hath preserved my {spirit}.

spirit That thou turnest thy {spirit} against God,
and

lettest [such] words go out of thy mouth?

spirit I have heard the check of my reproach, and the

{spirit} of my understanding causeth me to answer.

spirit As for me, [is] my complaint to man? and if [it

were so], why should not my {spirit} be troubled?

spirit To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose

{spirit} came from thee?

spirit By his {spirit} he hath garnished the heavens;

his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.

spirit All the while my breath [is] in me, and the

{spirit} of God [is] in my nostrils;

spirit But [there is] a {spirit} in man: and the

inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

spirit For I am full of matter, the {spirit} within
me

constraineth me.

spirit The {spirit} of God hath made me, and the
breath

of the Almighty hath given me life.

spirit If he set his heart upon man, [if] he gather
unto

himself his {spirit} and his breath;

spirit Into thine hand I commit my {spirit}: thou hast

redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.

spirit Blessed [is] the man unto whom the LORD
imputeth

not iniquity, and in whose {spirit} [there is] no guile.

spirit The LORD [is] nigh unto them that are of a
broken

heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite {spirit}.

spirit Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a

right {spirit} within me.

spirit Cast me not away from thy presence; and take
not

thy holy {spirit} from me.

spirit Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and

uphold me [with thy] free {spirit}.

spirit The sacrifices of God [are] a broken {spirit}:
a

broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

spirit He shall cut off the {spirit} of princes: [he
is]

terrible to the kings of the earth.

spirit I remembered God, and was troubled: I
complained,

and my {spirit} was overwhelmed. Selah.

spirit I call to remembrance my song in the night: I

commune with mine own heart: and my {spirit} made diligent
search.

spirit And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn
and

rebellious generation; a generation [that] set not their heart

aright, and whose {spirit} was not stedfast with God.

spirit Thou sendest forth thy {spirit}, they are

created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.

spirit Because they provoked his {spirit}, so that
he

spake unadvisedly with his lips.

spirit Whither shall I go from thy {spirit}? or
whither

shall I flee from thy presence?

spirit When my {spirit} was overwhelmed within me,
then

thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they
privily

laid a snare for me.

spirit Therefore is my {spirit} overwhelmed within
me;

my heart within me is desolate.

spirit Hear me speedily, O LORD: my {spirit} faileth:

hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down

into the pit.

spirit Teach me to do thy will; for thou [art] my
God:

thy {spirit} [is] good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

spirit Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour
out my

{spirit} unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

spirit A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that
is of

a faithful {spirit} concealeth the matter.

spirit He that is] slow to wrath [is] of great

understanding: but [he that is] hasty of {spirit} exalteth folly.

spirit A wholesome tongue [is] a tree of life: but

perverseness therein [is] a breach in the {spirit}.

spirit A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance:
but

by sorrow of the heart the {spirit} is broken.

spirit Pride [goeth] before destruction, and an
haughty

{spirit} before a fall.

spirit Better [it is to be] of an humble {spirit}
with

the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.

spirit He that is] slow to anger [is] better than the

mighty; and he that ruleth his {spirit} than he that taketh a
city.

spirit A merry heart doeth good [like] a medicine:
but a

broken {spirit} drieth the bones.

spirit He that hath knowledge spareth his words:
[and] a

man of understanding is of an excellent {spirit}.

spirit The {spirit} of a man will sustain his
infirmity;

but a wounded spirit who can bear?

spirit The spirit of a man will sustain his
infirmity;

but a wounded {spirit} who can bear?

spirit The {spirit} of man [is] the candle of the
LORD,

searching all the inward parts of the belly.

spirit He that [hath] no rule over his own {spirit}
[is

like] a city [that is] broken down, [and] without walls.

spirit A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour

shall uphold the humble in {spirit}.

spirit I have seen all the works that are done under
the

sun; and, behold, all [is] vanity and vexation of {spirit}.

spirit And I gave my heart to know wisdom, and to know

madness and folly: I perceived that this also is vexation of

{spirit}.

spirit Then I looked on all the works that my hands
had

wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and,
behold,

all [was] vanity and vexation of {spirit}, and [there was] no
profit

under the sun.

spirit Therefore I hated life; because the work that
is

wrought under the sun [is] grievous unto me: for all [is] vanity
and

vexation of {spirit}.

spirit For [God] giveth to a man that [is] good in his

sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth

travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to [him that
is]

good before God. This also [is] vanity and vexation of

{spirit}.

spirit Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth
upward,

and the {spirit} of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?

spirit Who knoweth the {spirit} of man that goeth
upward,

and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?

spirit Again, I considered all travail, and every right

work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This [is]
also

vanity and vexation of {spirit}.

spirit Better [is] an handful [with] quietness, than
both

the hands full [with] travail and vexation of {spirit}.

spirit There is] no end of all the people, [even] of
all

that have been before them: they also that come after shall not

rejoice in him. Surely this also [is] vanity and vexation of

{spirit}.

spirit Better [is] the sight of the eyes than the

wandering of the desire: this [is] also vanity and vexation of

{spirit}.

spirit Better [is] the end of a thing than the
beginning

thereof: [and] the patient in spirit [is] better than the proud
in

{spirit}.

spirit Better [is] the end of a thing than the
beginning

thereof: [and] the patient in {spirit} [is] better than the
proud in

spirit.

spirit Be not hasty in thy {spirit} to be angry: for
anger

resteth in the bosom of fools.

spirit There is] no man that hath power over the
spirit to

retain the {spirit}; neither [hath he] power in the day of death:

and [there is] no discharge in [that] war; neither shall
wickedness

deliver those that are given to it.

spirit There is] no man that hath power over the
{spirit}

to retain the spirit; neither [hath he] power in the day of
death:

and [there is] no discharge in [that] war; neither shall
wickedness

deliver those that are given to it.

spirit If the {spirit} of the ruler rise up against
thee,

leave not thy place; for yielding pacifieth great offences.

spirit As thou knowest not what [is] the way of the

{spirit}, [nor] how the bones [do grow] in the womb of her that
is

with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh

all.

spirit Then shall the dust return to the earth as it
was:

and the {spirit} shall return unto God who gave it.

spirit When the Lord shall have washed away the filth
of

the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of
Jerusalem

from the midst thereof by the {spirit} of judgment, and by the

spirit of burning.

spirit When the Lord shall have washed away the filth
of

the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of
Jerusalem

from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the

{spirit} of burning.

spirit And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him,

the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the {spirit} of counsel
and

might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

spirit And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him,

the {spirit} of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel
and

might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

spirit And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him,

the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and

might, the {spirit} of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

spirit And the {spirit} of the LORD shall rest upon
him,

the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and

might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

spirit And the {spirit} of Egypt shall fail in the
midst

thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall
seek

to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar

spirits, and to the wizards.

spirit The LORD hath mingled a perverse {spirit} in
the

midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work

thereof, as a drunken [man] staggereth in his vomit.

spirit With my soul have I desired thee in the night;

yea, with my {spirit} within me will I seek thee early: for when
thy

judgments [are] in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will

learn righteousness.

spirit And for a {spirit} of judgment to him that
sitteth

in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the

gate.

spirit And thou shalt be brought down, [and] shalt
speak

out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust,
and

thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar {spirit}, out
of

the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the

dust.

spirit For the LORD hath poured out upon you the

{spirit} of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets
and

your rulers, the seers hath he covered.

spirit They also that erred in {spirit} shall come to

understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.

spirit Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD,

that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering,

but not of my {spirit}, that they may add sin to sin:

spirit Now the Egyptians [are] men, and not God; and

their horses flesh, and not {spirit}. When the LORD shall stretch

out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is
holpen

shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.

spirit Until the {spirit} be poured upon us from on

high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful
field

be counted for a forest.

spirit Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read:
no

one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth
it

hath commanded, and his {spirit} it hath gathered them.

spirit O Lord, by these [things men] live, and in all

these [things is] the life of my {spirit}: so wilt thou recover
me,

and make me to live.

spirit The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because

the {spirit} of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people [is]

grass.

spirit Who hath directed the {Spirit} of the LORD, or

[being] his counsellor hath taught him?

spirit Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect,
[in

whom] my soul delighteth; I have put my {spirit} upon him: he
shall

bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

spirit Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the

heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth,
and

that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the
people

upon it, and {spirit} to them that walk therein:

spirit For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty,

and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my {spirit} upon thy

seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

spirit Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not

spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was,

there [am] I: and now the Lord GOD, and his {Spirit}, hath sent
me.

spirit For the LORD hath called thee as a woman
forsaken

and grieved in {spirit}, and a wife of youth, when thou wast

refused, saith thy God.

spirit For thus saith the high and lofty One that

inhabiteth eternity, whose name [is] Holy; I dwell in the high
and

holy [place], with him also [that is] of a contrite and humble

{spirit}, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the

heart of the contrite ones.

spirit For thus saith the high and lofty One that

inhabiteth eternity, whose name [is] Holy; I dwell in the high
and

holy [place], with him also [that is] of a contrite and humble

spirit, to revive the {spirit} of the humble, and to revive the

heart of the contrite ones.

spirit For I will not contend for ever, neither will
I

be always wroth: for the {spirit} should fail before me, and the

souls [which] I have made.

spirit So shall they fear the name of the LORD from
the

west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy
shall

come in like a flood, the {Spirit} of the LORD shall lift up a

standard against him.

spirit As for me, this [is] my covenant with them,
saith

the LORD; My {spirit} that [is] upon thee, and my words which I
have

put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of
the

mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy se

ed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

spirit The {spirit} of the Lord GOD [is] upon me;
because

the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek;
he

hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to

the captives, and the opening of the prison to [them

that are] bound;

spirit To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to
give

unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the
garment

of praise for the {spirit} of heaviness; that they might be
called

trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, th

at he might be glorified.

spirit But they rebelled, and vexed his holy
{Spirit}:

therefore he was turned to be their enemy, [and] he fought
against

them.

spirit Then he remembered the days of old, Moses,
[and]

his people, [saying], Where [is] he that brought them up out of
the

sea with the shepherd of his flock? where [is] he that put his
holy

{Spirit} within him?

spirit As a beast goeth down into the valley, the

{Spirit} of the LORD caused him to rest: so didst thou lead thy

people, to make thyself a glorious name.

spirit Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of
heart,

but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for
vexation of

{spirit}.

spirit For all those [things] hath mine hand made, and

all those [things] have been, saith the LORD: but to this [man]
will

I look, [even] to [him that is] poor and of a contrite {spirit},
and

trembleth at my word.

spirit Make bright the arrows; gather the shields:
the

LORD hath raised up the {spirit} of the kings of the Medes: for
his

device [is] against Babylon, to destroy it; because it [is] the

vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple.

spirit And they went every one straight forward:
whither

the {spirit} was to go, they went; [and] they turned not when
they

went.

spirit Whithersoever the {spirit} was to go, they
went,

thither [was their] spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up
over

against them: for the spirit of the living creature [was] in the

wheels.

spirit Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went,

thither [was their] {spirit} to go; and the wheels were lifted up

over against them: for the spirit of the living creature [was] in

the wheels.

spirit Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went,

thither [was their] spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up
over

against them: for the {spirit} of the living creature [was] in
the

wheels.

spirit When those went, [these] went; and when those

stood, [these] stood; and when those were lifted up from the
earth,

the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the {spirit} of
the

living creature [was] in the wheels.

spirit And the {spirit} entered into me when he spake
unto

me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.

spirit Then the {spirit} took me up, and I heard
behind

me a voice of a great rushing, [saying], Blessed [be] the glory
of

the LORD from his place.

spirit So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away,
and

I went in bitterness, in the heat of my {spirit}; but the hand of

the LORD was strong upon me.

spirit So the {spirit} lifted me up, and took me away,

and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand
of

the LORD was strong upon me.

spirit Then the {spirit} entered into me, and set me
upon

my feet, and spake with me, and said unto me, Go, shut thyself

within thine house.

spirit And he put forth the form of an hand, and took
me

by a lock of mine head; and the {spirit} lifted me up between the

earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to

Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward

the north; where [was] the seat of the image of jealousy, which

provoketh to jealousy.

spirit When they stood, [these] stood; and when they

were lifted up, [these] lifted up themselves [also]: for the

{spirit} of the living creature [was] in them.

spirit Moreover the {spirit} lifted me up, and
brought me

unto the east gate of the LORD'S house, which looketh eastward:
and

behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I
saw

Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son o

f Benaiah, princes of the people.

spirit And the {Spirit} of the LORD fell upon me, and

said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the LORD; Thus have ye said, O
house

of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, [every

one of] them.

spirit And I will give them one heart, and I will
put a

new {spirit} within you; and I will take the stony heart out of

their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

spirit Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought
me

in a vision by the {Spirit} of God into Chaldea, to them of the

captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

spirit Afterwards the {spirit} took me up, and
brought

me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the

captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

spirit Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish

prophets, that follow their own {spirit}, and have seen nothing!

spirit Cast away from you all your transgressions,

whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new

{spirit}: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

spirit And it shall be, when they say unto thee,

Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings;

because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands
shall

be feeble, and every {spirit} shall faint, and all knees shall

be weak [as] water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to
pass,

saith the Lord GOD.

spirit A new heart also will I give you, and a new

{spirit} will I put within you: and I will take away the stony
heart

out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

spirit And I will put my {spirit} within you, and
cause

you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and
do

[them].

spirit The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried
me

out in the {spirit} of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of
the

valley which [was] full of bones,

spirit And shall put my {spirit} in you, and ye shall

live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know

that I the LORD have spoken [it], and performed [it], saith the

LORD.

spirit Neither will I hide my face any more from
them:

for I have poured out my {spirit} upon the house of Israel, saith

the Lord GOD.

spirit So the {spirit} took me up, and brought me into

the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the

house.

spirit And in the second year of the reign of

Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his
{spirit}

was troubled, and his sleep brake from him.

spirit And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a

dream, and my {spirit} was troubled to know the dream.

spirit But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose

name [was] Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god, and in

whom [is] the {spirit} of the holy gods: and before him I told
the

dream, [saying],

spirit O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians,
because I

know that the {spirit} of the holy gods [is] in thee, and no
secret

troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen,

and the interpretation thereof.

spirit This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now

thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof,
forasmuch

as all the wise [men] of my kingdom are not able to make known
unto

me the interpretation: but thou [art] able; for the {

spirit} of the holy gods [is] in thee.

spirit There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom [is] the

{spirit} of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light
and

understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found
in

him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king

, [I say], thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers,

Chaldeans, [and] soothsayers;

spirit Forasmuch as an excellent {spirit}, and
knowledge,

and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and showing of hard

sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same
Daniel,

whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be cal

led, and he will show the interpretation.

spirit I have even heard of thee, that the {spirit} of

the gods [is] in thee, and [that] light and understanding and

excellent wisdom is found in thee.

spirit Then this Daniel was preferred above the
presidents

and princes, because an excellent {spirit} [was] in him; and the

king thought to set him over the whole realm.

spirit I Daniel was grieved in my {spirit} in the
midst

of [my] body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

spirit My people ask counsel at their stocks, and
their

staff declareth unto them: for the {spirit} of whoredoms hath
caused

[them] to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.

spirit They will not frame their doings to turn unto
their

God: for the {spirit} of whoredoms [is] in the midst of them, and

they have not known the LORD.

spirit And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I
will

pour out my {spirit} upon all flesh; and your sons and your

daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your

young men shall see visions:

spirit And also upon the servants and upon the
handmaids

in those days will I pour out my {spirit}.

spirit O [thou that art] named the house of Jacob, is
the

{spirit} of the LORD straitened? [are] these his doings? do not
my

words do good to him that walketh uprightly?

spirit If a man walking in the {spirit} and falsehood
do

lie, [saying], I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong

drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.

spirit But truly I am full of power by the {spirit} of
the

LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his

transgression, and to Israel his sin.

spirit And the LORD stirred up the spirit of
Zerubbabel

the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua

the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the {spirit} of all the

remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the

house of the LORD of hosts, their God,

spirit And the LORD stirred up the {spirit} of
Zerubbabel

the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua

the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the

remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the

house of the LORD of hosts, their God,

spirit And the LORD stirred up the spirit of
Zerubbabel

the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the {spirit} of
Joshua

the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the

remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the

house of the LORD of hosts, their God,

spirit According to] the word that I covenanted with
you

when ye came out of Egypt, so my {spirit} remaineth among you:
fear

ye not.

spirit Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This

[is] the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might,
nor

by power, but by my {spirit}, saith the LORD of hosts.

spirit Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me,
saying,

Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my

{spirit} in the north country.

spirit Yea, they made their hearts [as] an adamant
stone,

lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of
hosts

hath sent in his {spirit} by the former prophets: therefore came
a

great wrath from the LORD of hosts.

spirit The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel,

saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth
the

foundation of the earth, and formeth the {spirit} of man within
him.

spirit And I will pour upon the house of David, and
upon

the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the {spirit} of grace and of

supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have
pierced,

and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for [his] only

[son], and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in

bitterness for [his] firstborn.

spirit And it shall come to pass in that day, saith
the

LORD of hosts, [that] I will cut off the names of the idols out
of

the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will

cause the prophets and the unclean {spirit} to pass out o

f the land.

spirit And did not he make one? Yet had he the
residue of

the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed.

Therefore take heed to your {spirit}, and let none deal

treacherously against the wife of his youth.

spirit And did not he make one? Yet had he the
residue of

the {spirit}. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed.

Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal
treacherously

against the wife of his youth.

spirit For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he

hateth putting away: for [one] covereth violence with his
garment,

saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your {spirit},
that

ye deal not treacherously.

spirit And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up

straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened
unto

him, and he saw the {Spirit} of God descending like a dove, and

lighting upon him:

spirit Then was Jesus led up of the {Spirit} into the

wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

spirit Blessed [are] the poor in {spirit}: for theirs
is

the kingdom of heaven.

spirit For it is not ye that speak, but the {Spirit}
of

your Father which speaketh in you.

spirit Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my

beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my {spirit}

upon him, and he shall show judgment to the Gentiles.

spirit But if I cast out devils by the {Spirit} of
God,

then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

spirit When the unclean {spirit} is gone out of a
man,

he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

spirit And when the disciples saw him walking on the

sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a {spirit}; and they cried

out for fear.

spirit He saith unto them, How then doth David in

{spirit} call him Lord, saying,

spirit Watch and pray, that ye enter not into

temptation: the {spirit} indeed [is] willing, but the flesh [is]

weak.

spirit And straightway coming up out of the water, he
saw

the heavens opened, and the {Spirit} like a dove descending upon

him:

spirit And immediately the {Spirit} driveth him into
the

wilderness.

spirit And there was in their synagogue a man with an

unclean {spirit}; and he cried out,

spirit And when the unclean {spirit} had torn him, and

cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.

spirit And immediately when Jesus perceived in his

{spirit} that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto
them,

Why reason ye these things in your hearts?

spirit Because they said, He hath an unclean {spirit}.

spirit And when he was come out of the ship,
immediately

there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean {spirit},

spirit For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou]

unclean {spirit}.

spirit But when they saw him walking upon the sea,
they

supposed it had been a {spirit}, and cried out:

spirit For a certain] woman, whose young daughter had
an

unclean {spirit}, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:

spirit And he sighed deeply in his {spirit}, and
saith,

Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto
you,

There shall no sign be given unto this generation.

spirit And one of the multitude answered and said,

Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb
{spirit};

spirit And they brought him unto him: and when he saw

him, straightway the {spirit} tare him; and he fell on the
ground,

and wallowed foaming.

spirit When Jesus saw that the people came running

together, he rebuked the foul {spirit}, saying unto him, Thou]
dumb

and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no
more

into him.

spirit When Jesus saw that the people came running

together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou] dumb

and deaf {spirit}, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no
more

into him.

spirit And the {spirit}] cried, and rent him sore, and

came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said,
He

is dead.

spirit Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into
temptation.

The {spirit} truly is] ready, but the flesh is] weak.

spirit And he shall go before him in the {spirit} and

power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the
children,

and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a

people prepared for the Lord.

spirit And my {spirit} hath rejoiced in God my
Saviour.

spirit And the child grew, and waxed strong in
{spirit},

and was in the deserts till the day of his showing unto Israel.

spirit And he came by the {Spirit} into the temple:
and

when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after
the

custom of the law,

spirit And the child grew, and waxed strong in
{spirit},

filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.

spirit And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned

from Jordan, and was led by the {Spirit} into the wilderness,

spirit And Jesus returned in the power of the {Spirit}

into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the

region round about.

spirit The {Spirit} of the Lord is] upon me, because
he

hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent
me

to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives,

and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty

them that are bruised,

spirit And in the synagogue there was a man, which
had a

{spirit} of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,

spirit For he had commanded the unclean {spirit} to
come

out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept

bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was

driven of the devil into the wilderness.)

spirit And her {spirit} came again, and she arose

straightway: and he commanded to give her meat.

spirit And, lo, a {spirit} taketh him, and he suddenly

crieth out; and it teareth him that he foameth again, and
bruising

him hardly departeth from him.

spirit And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him

down, and tare him]. And Jesus rebuked the unclean {spirit}, and

healed the child, and delivered him again to his father.

spirit But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye
know

not what manner of {spirit} ye are of.

spirit In that hour Jesus rejoiced in {spirit}, and

said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou

hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast
revealed

them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in

thy sight.

spirit If ye then, being evil, know how to give good

gifts unto your children: how much more shall your] heavenly
Father

give the Holy {Spirit} to them that ask him?

spirit When the unclean {spirit} is gone out of a
man,

he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he

saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.

spirit And, behold, there was a woman which had a

{spirit} of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and

could in no wise lift up herself].

spirit And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he

said, Father, into thy hands I commend my {spirit}: and having
said

thus, he gave up the ghost.

spirit But they were terrified and affrighted, and

supposed that they had seen a {spirit}.

spirit Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I
myself:

handle me, and see; for a {spirit} hath not flesh and bones, as
ye

see me have.

spirit And John bare record, saying, I saw the
{Spirit}

descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.

spirit And I knew him not: but he that sent me to
baptize

with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the

{Spirit} descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which

baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

spirit Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,

Except a man be born of water and of] the {Spirit}, he cannot
enter

into the kingdom of God.

spirit That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and
that

which is born of the {Spirit} is spirit.

spirit That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and
that

which is born of the Spirit is {spirit}.

spirit The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou
hearest

the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and
whither

it goeth: so is every one that is born of the {Spirit}.

spirit For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of

God: for God giveth not the {Spirit} by measure unto him].

spirit But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true

worshippers shall worship the Father in {spirit} and in truth:
for

the Father seeketh such to worship him.

spirit God is] a Spirit: and they that worship him
must

worship him] in {spirit} and in truth.

spirit God is] a {Spirit}: and they that worship him
must

worship him] in spirit and in truth.

spirit It is the {spirit} that quickeneth; the flesh

profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they] are

spirit, and they] are life.

spirit It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh

profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they] are

{spirit}, and they] are life.

spirit But this spake he of the {Spirit}, which they
that

believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet

given]; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

spirit When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the

Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the
{spirit},

and was troubled,

spirit When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in

{spirit}, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto
you,

that one of you shall betray me.

spirit Even] the {Spirit} of truth; whom the world

cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him:
but

ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

spirit But when the Comforter is come, whom I will
send

unto you from the Father, even] the {Spirit} of truth, which

proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

spirit Howbeit when he, the {Spirit} of truth, is
come,

he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of
himself;

but whatsoever he shall hear, that] shall he speak: and he will
show

you things to come.

spirit And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost,
and

began to speak with other tongues, as the {Spirit} gave them

utterance.

spirit And it shall come to pass in the last days,
saith

God, I will pour out of my {Spirit} upon all flesh: and your sons

and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see

visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

spirit And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will

pour out in those days of my {Spirit}; and they shall prophesy:

spirit Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have

agreed together to tempt the {Spirit} of the Lord? behold, the
feet

of them which have buried thy husband are] at the door, and shall

carry thee out.

spirit And they were not able to resist the wisdom and

the {spirit} by which he spake.

spirit And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God], and

saying, Lord Jesus, receive my {spirit}.

spirit Then the {Spirit} said unto Philip, Go near,
and

join thyself to this chariot.

spirit And when they were come up out of the water,
the

{Spirit} of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him
no

more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

spirit While Peter thought on the vision, the
{Spirit}

said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.

spirit And the {Spirit} bade me go with them, nothing

doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we
entered

into the man's house:

spirit And there stood up one of them named Agabus,
and

signified by the {Spirit} that there should be great dearth

throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of
Claudius

Caesar.

spirit After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to
go

into Bithynia: but the {Spirit} suffered them not.

spirit And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a

certain damsel possessed with a {spirit} of divination met us,
which

brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:

spirit And this did she many days. But Paul, being

grieved, turned and said to the {spirit}, I command thee in the
name

of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same
hour.

spirit Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his

{spirit} was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to

idolatry.

spirit And when Silas and Timotheus were come from

Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the {spirit}, and testified to the

Jews that] Jesus was] Christ.

spirit This man was instructed in the way of the
Lord;

and being fervent in the {spirit}, he spake and taught diligently

the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.

spirit And the evil {spirit} answered and said,
Jesus I

know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

spirit And the man in whom the evil {spirit} was
leaped

on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that
they

fled out of that house naked and wounded.

spirit After these things were ended, Paul purposed
in

the {spirit}, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia,
to go

to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see
Rome.

spirit And now, behold, I go bound in the {spirit}
unto

Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:

spirit And finding disciples, we tarried there seven

days: who said to Paul through the {Spirit}, that he should not
go

up to Jerusalem.

spirit For the Sadducees say that there is no

resurrection, neither angel, nor {spirit}: but the Pharisees
confess

both.

spirit And there arose a great cry: and the scribes
that

were] of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find
no

evil in this man: but if a {spirit} or an angel hath spoken to
him,

let us not fight against God.

spirit And declared to be] the Son of God with power,

according to the {spirit} of holiness, by the resurrection from
the

dead:

spirit For God is my witness, whom I serve with my

{spirit} in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make

mention of you always in my prayers;

spirit But he is] a Jew, which is one inwardly; and

circumcision is that] of the heart, in the {spirit}, and] not in
the

letter; whose praise is] not of men, but of God.

spirit But now we are delivered from the law, that
being

dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of

{spirit}, and not in] the oldness of the letter.

spirit There is] therefore now no condemnation to them

which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but
after

the {Spirit}.

spirit For the law of the {Spirit} of life in Christ
Jesus

hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

spirit That the righteousness of the law might be

fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the

{Spirit}.

spirit For they that are after the flesh do mind the

things of the flesh; but they that are after the {Spirit} the
things

of the Spirit.

spirit For they that are after the flesh do mind the

things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the
things

of the {Spirit}.

spirit But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit,
if

so be that the {Spirit} of God dwell in you. Now if any man have
not

the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

spirit But ye are not in the flesh, but in the
{Spirit},

if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have

not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

spirit But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit,
if

so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have
not

the {Spirit} of Christ, he is none of his.

spirit And if Christ be] in you, the body is] dead

because of sin; but the {Spirit} is] life because of
righteousness.

spirit But if the {Spirit} of him that raised up Jesus

from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the
dead

shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that
dwelleth in

you.

spirit But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus
from

the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead
shall

also quicken your mortal bodies by his {Spirit} that dwelleth in

you.

spirit For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:
but

if ye through the {Spirit} do mortify the deeds of the body, ye

shall live.

spirit For as many as are led by the {Spirit} of God,

they are the sons of God.

spirit For ye have not received the spirit of bondage

again to fear; but ye have received the {Spirit} of adoption,

whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

spirit For ye have not received the {spirit} of
bondage

again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption,
whereby

we cry, Abba, Father.

spirit The {Spirit} itself beareth witness with our

spirit, that we are the children of God:

spirit The Spirit itself beareth witness with our

{spirit}, that we are the children of God:

spirit And not only they], but ourselves also, which
have

the firstfruits of the {Spirit}, even we ourselves groan within

ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit], the redemption of
our

body.

spirit Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our
infirmities:

for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the

{Spirit} itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which

cannot be uttered.

spirit Likewise the {Spirit} also helpeth our

infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:

but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings

which cannot be uttered.

spirit And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what
is]

the mind of the {Spirit}, because he maketh intercession for the

saints according to the will of] God.

spirit According as it is written, God hath given them

the {spirit} of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears

that they should not hear;) unto this day.

spirit Not slothful in business; fervent in {spirit};

serving the Lord;

spirit Through mighty signs and wonders, by the
power of

the {Spirit} of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto

Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

spirit Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord
Jesus

Christ's sake, and for the love of the {Spirit}, that ye strive

together with me in your] prayers to God for me;

spirit <1CO2 -4> And my speech and my preaching was] not with

enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the
{Spirit}

and of power:

spirit <1CO2 -10> But God hath revealed them] unto us by his

{Spirit}: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep
things

of God.

spirit <1CO2 -10> But God hath revealed them] unto us by his
Spirit:

for the {Spirit} searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of
God.

spirit <1CO2 -11> For what man knoweth the things of a man, save
the

{spirit} of man which is in him? even so the things of God
knoweth

no man, but the Spirit of God.

spirit <1CO2 -11> For what man knoweth the things of a man, save
the

spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth
no

man, but the {Spirit} of God.

spirit <1CO2 -12> Now we have received, not the {spirit} of the

world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the
things

that are freely given to us of God.

spirit <1CO2 -12> Now we have received, not the spirit of the
world,

but the {spirit} which is of God; that we might know the things
that

are freely given to us of God.

spirit <1CO2 -14> But the natural man receiveth not the things of

the {Spirit} of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither
can

he know them], because they are spiritually discerned.

spirit <1CO3 -16> Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and

that] the {Spirit} of God dwelleth in you?

spirit <1CO4 -21> What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod,
or

in love, and in] the {spirit} of meekness?

spirit <1CO5 -3> For I verily, as absent in body, but present in

{spirit}, have judged already, as though I were present,
concerning]

him that hath so done this deed,

spirit <1CO5 -4> In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye
are

gathered together, and my {spirit}, with the power of our Lord
Jesus

Christ,

spirit <1CO5 -5> To deliver such an one unto Satan for the

destruction of the flesh, that the {spirit} may be saved in the
day

of the Lord Jesus.

spirit <1CO6 -11> And such were some of you: but ye are washed,
but

ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord

Jesus, and by the {Spirit} of our God.

spirit <1CO6 -17> But he that is joined unto the Lord is one

{spirit}.

spirit <1CO6 -20> For ye are bought with a price: therefore
glorify

God in your body, and in your {spirit}, which are God's.

spirit <1CO7 -34> There is difference also] between a wife and a

virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord,
that

she may be holy both in body and in {spirit}: but she that is

married careth for the things of the world, how she may plea

se her] husband.

spirit <1CO7 -40> But she is happier if she so abide, after my

judgment: and I think also that I have the {Spirit} of God.

spirit <1CO12 -3> Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man

speaking by the {Spirit} of God calleth Jesus accursed: and
that] no

man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

spirit <1CO12 -4> Now there are diversities of gifts, but the
same

{Spirit}.

spirit <1CO12 -7> But the manifestation of the {Spirit} is given
to

every man to profit withal.

spirit <1CO12 -8> For to one is given by the Spirit the word of

wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same {Spirit};

spirit <1CO12 -8> For to one is given by the {Spirit} the word of

wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

spirit <1CO12 -9> To another faith by the same Spirit; to another

the gifts of healing by the same {Spirit};

spirit <1CO12 -9> To another faith by the same {Spirit}; to
another

the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

spirit <1CO12 -11> But all these worketh that one and the
selfsame

{Spirit}, dividing to every man severally as he will.

spirit <1CO12 -13> For by one {Spirit} are we all baptized into
one

body, whether we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether we be] bond or
free;

and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

spirit <1CO12 -13> For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one

body, whether we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether we be] bond or
free;

and have been all made to drink into one {Spirit}.

spirit <1CO14 -2> For he that speaketh in an unknown] tongue

speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth
him];

howbeit in the {spirit} he speaketh mysteries.

spirit <1CO14 -14> For if I pray in an unknown] tongue, my
{spirit}

prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.

spirit <1CO14 -15> What is it then? I will pray with the
{spirit},

and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the

spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

spirit <1CO14 -15> What is it then? I will pray with the spirit,
and

I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the

{spirit}, and I will sing with the understanding also.

spirit <1CO14 -16> Else when thou shalt bless with the {spirit},
how

shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy

giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?

spirit <1CO15 -45> And so it is written, The first man Adam was
made

a living soul; the last Adam was made] a quickening {spirit}.

spirit <1CO16 -18> For they have refreshed my {spirit} and yours:

therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.

spirit <2CO1 -22> Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest
of

the {Spirit} in our hearts.

spirit <2CO2 -13> I had no rest in my {spirit}, because I found
not

Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence

into Macedonia.

spirit <2CO3 -3> Forasmuch as ye are] manifestly declared to be
the

epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but
with

the {Spirit} of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in

fleshly tables of the heart.

spirit <2CO3 -6> Who also hath made us able ministers of the new

testament; not of the letter, but of the {spirit}: for the letter

killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

spirit <2CO3 -6> Who also hath made us able ministers of the new

testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter

killeth, but the {spirit} giveth life.

spirit <2CO3 -8> How shall not the ministration of the {spirit}
be

rather glorious?

spirit <2CO3 -17> Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the

{Spirit} of the Lord is], there is] liberty.

spirit <2CO3 -17> Now the Lord is that {Spirit}: and where the

Spirit of the Lord is], there is] liberty.

spirit <2CO3 -18> But we all, with open face beholding as in a
glass

the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from
glory to

glory, even] as by the {Spirit} of the Lord.

spirit <2CO4 -13> We having the same {spirit} of faith,
according as

it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also

believe, and therefore speak;

spirit <2CO5 -5> Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame
thing

is] God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the {Spirit}.

spirit <2CO7 -1> Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved,

let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and

{spirit}, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

spirit <2CO7 -13> Therefore we were comforted in your comfort:
yea,

and exceedingly the more joyed we for the joy of Titus, because
his

{spirit} was refreshed by you all.

spirit <2CO11 -4> For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus,

whom we have not preached, or if] ye receive another {spirit},
which

ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not
accepted,

ye might well bear with him].

spirit <2CO12 -18> I desired Titus, and with him] I sent a
brother.

Did Titus make a gain of you? walked we not in the same {spirit}?

walked we] not in the same steps?

spirit This only would I learn of you, Received ye the

{Spirit} by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

spirit Are ye so foolish? having begun in the {Spirit},

are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

spirit He therefore that ministereth to you the
{Spirit},

and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it] by the works of the

law, or by the hearing of faith?

spirit That the blessing of Abraham might come on the

Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise
of

the {Spirit} through faith.

spirit And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the

{Spirit} of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

spirit But as then he that was born after the flesh

persecuted him that was born] after the {Spirit}, even so it is]

now.

spirit For we through the {Spirit} wait for the hope of

righteousness by faith.

spirit This] I say then, Walk in the {Spirit}, and ye

shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

spirit For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and
the

{Spirit} against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the

other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

spirit For the flesh lusteth against the {Spirit}, and

the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to
the

other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

spirit But if ye be led of the {Spirit}, ye are not
under

the law.

spirit But the fruit of the {Spirit} is love, joy,
peace,

longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

spirit If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in
the

{Spirit}.

spirit If we live in the {Spirit}, let us also walk in

the Spirit.

spirit Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye

which are spiritual, restore such an one in the {spirit} of

meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

spirit For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the
flesh

reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the

{Spirit} reap life everlasting.

spirit For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the
flesh

reap corruption; but he that soweth to the {Spirit} shall of the

Spirit reap life everlasting.

spirit Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ
be]

with your {spirit}. Amen.

spirit In whom ye also trusted], after that ye heard
the

word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after
that

ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy {Spirit} of promise,

spirit That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the
Father

of glory, may give unto you the {spirit} of wisdom and
revelation in

the knowledge of him:

spirit Wherein in time past ye walked according to the

course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the

air, the {spirit} that now worketh in the children of
disobedience:

spirit For through him we both have access by one

{Spirit} unto the Father.

spirit In whom ye also are builded together for an

habitation of God through the {Spirit}.

spirit Which in other ages was not made known unto the

sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and

prophets by the {Spirit};

spirit That he would grant you, according to the
riches

of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his {Spirit} in
the

inner man;

spirit Endeavouring to keep the unity of the {Spirit}
in

the bond of peace.

spirit There is] one body, and one {Spirit}, even as ye

are called in one hope of your calling;

spirit And be renewed in the {spirit} of your mind;

spirit And grieve not the holy {Spirit} of God,
whereby

ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

spirit For the fruit of the {Spirit} is] in all
goodness

and righteousness and truth;)

spirit And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess;
but

be filled with the {Spirit};

spirit And take the helmet of salvation, and the
sword of

the {Spirit}, which is the word of God:

spirit Praying always with all prayer and
supplication in

the {Spirit}, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and

supplication for all saints;

spirit For I know that this shall turn to my salvation

through your prayer, and the supply of the {Spirit} of Jesus
Christ,

spirit Only let your conversation be as it becometh
the

gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be

absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one

{spirit}, with one mind striving together for the faith of the g

ospel;

spirit If there be] therefore any consolation in
Christ,

if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the {Spirit}, if any

bowels and mercies,

spirit For we are the circumcision, which worship God
in

the {spirit}, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no
confidence in

the flesh.

spirit Who also declared unto us your love in the

{Spirit}.

spirit For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I
with

you in the {spirit}, joying and beholding your order, and the

stedfastness of your faith in Christ.

spirit <1TH4 -8> He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man,
but

God, who hath also given unto us his holy {Spirit}.

spirit <1TH5 -19> Quench not the {Spirit}.

spirit <1TH5 -23> And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly;
and

I pray God] your whole {spirit} and soul and body be preserved

blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

spirit <2TH2 -2> That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be
troubled,

neither by {spirit}, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as
that

the day of Christ is at hand.

spirit <2TH2 -8> And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the

Lord shall consume with the {spirit} of his mouth, and shall
destroy

with the brightness of his coming:

spirit <2TH2 -13> But we are bound to give thanks alway to God
for

you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the

beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the

{Spirit} and belief of the truth:

spirit <1TI3 -16> And without controversy great is the mystery of

godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the
{Spirit},

seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the

world, received up into glory.

spirit <1TI4 -1> Now the {Spirit} speaketh expressly, that in the

latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to

seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

spirit <1TI4 -12> Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an

example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity,
in

{spirit}, in faith, in purity.

spirit <2TI1 -7> For God hath not given us the {spirit} of fear;
but

of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

spirit <2TI4 -22> The Lord Jesus Christ be] with thy {spirit}.
Grace

be] with you. Amen.

spirit The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be] with
your

{spirit}. Amen.

spirit For the word of God is] quick, and powerful,
and

sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing

asunder of soul and {spirit}, and of the joints and marrow, and
is]

a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

spirit How much more shall the blood of Christ, who

through the eternal {Spirit} offered himself without spot to God,

purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

spirit Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye,
shall

he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God,

and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was

sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the {

Spirit} of grace?

spirit For as the body without the {spirit} is dead,
so

faith without works is dead also.

spirit Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain,
The

{spirit} that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

spirit <1PE1 -2> Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the

Father, through sanctification of the {Spirit}, unto obedience
and

sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and
peace,

be multiplied.

spirit <1PE1 -11> Searching what, or what manner of time the

{Spirit} of Christ which was in them did signify, when it
testified

beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should

follow.

spirit <1PE1 -22> Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying
the

truth through the {Spirit} unto unfeigned love of the brethren,
see

that ye] love one another with a pure heart fervently:

spirit <1PE3 -4> But let it be] the hidden man of the heart, in
that

which is not corruptible, even the ornament] of a meek and quiet

{spirit}, which is in the sight of God of great price.

spirit <1PE3 -18> For Christ also hath once suffered for sins,
the

just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to

death in the flesh, but quickened by the {Spirit}:

spirit <1PE4 -6> For for this cause was the gospel preached also
to

them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in

the flesh, but live according to God in the {spirit}.

spirit <1PE4 -14> If ye be reproached for the name of Christ,
happy

are ye]; for the {spirit} of glory and of God resteth upon you:
on

their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is
glorified.

spirit <1JO3 -24> And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth
in

him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by
the

{Spirit} which he hath given us.

spirit <1JO4 -1> Beloved, believe not every {spirit}, but try the

spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are

gone out into the world.

spirit <1JO4 -2> Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every {spirit}

that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

spirit <1JO4 -2> Hereby know ye the {Spirit} of God: Every spirit

that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

spirit <1JO4 -3> And every {spirit} that confesseth not that
Jesus

Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that
spirit]

of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and
even

now already is it in the world.

spirit <1JO4 -3> And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus

Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that

{spirit}] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should
come;

and even now already is it in the world.

spirit <1JO4 -6> We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us;
he

that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of

truth, and the {spirit} of error.

spirit <1JO4 -6> We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us;
he

that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the {spirit} of

truth, and the spirit of error.

spirit <1JO4 -13> Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in
us,

because he hath given us of his {Spirit}.

spirit <1JO5 -6> This is he that came by water and blood, even]

Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it
is

the Spirit that beareth witness, because the {Spirit} is truth.

spirit <1JO5 -6> This is he that came by water and blood, even]

Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it
is

the {Spirit} that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

spirit <1JO5 -8> And there are three that bear witness in earth,
the

{Spirit}, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in

one.

spirit These be they who separate themselves, sensual,

having not the {Spirit}.

spirit I was in the {Spirit} on the Lord's day, and
heard

behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

spirit He that hath an ear, let him hear what the
{Spirit}

saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to
eat

of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of
God.

spirit He that hath an ear, let him hear what the

{Spirit} saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be

hurt of the second death.

spirit He that hath an ear, let him hear what the

{Spirit} saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I
give

to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and
in

the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving

he that receiveth it].

spirit He that hath an ear, let him hear what the

{Spirit} saith unto the churches.

spirit He that hath an ear, let him hear what the
{Spirit}

saith unto the churches.

spirit He that hath an ear, let him hear what the

{Spirit} saith unto the churches.

spirit He that hath an ear, let him hear what the

{Spirit} saith unto the churches.

spirit And immediately I was in the {spirit}; and,
behold,

a throne was set in heaven, and one] sat on the throne.

spirit And after three days and an half the {Spirit}
of

life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet;
and

great fear fell upon them which saw them.

spirit And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto
me,

Write, Blessed are] the dead which die in the Lord from
henceforth:

Yea, saith the {Spirit}, that they may rest from their labours;
and

their works do follow them.

spirit So he carried me away in the {spirit} into the

wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast,

full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

spirit And he cried mightily with a strong voice,
saying,

Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the
habitation

of devils, and the hold of every foul {spirit}, and a cage of
every

unclean and hateful bird.

spirit And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he

said unto me, See thou do it] not: I am thy fellowservant, and of

thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for
the

testimony of Jesus is the {spirit} of prophecy.

spirit And he carried me away in the {spirit} to a
great

and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy

Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

spirit And the {Spirit} and the bride say, Come. And
let

him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And

whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
