snares Know for a certainty that the LORD your God
will

no more drive out [any of] these nations from before you; but
they

shall be {snares} and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides,

and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this

good land which the LORD your God hath given you.

nares <2SA22 -6> The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the

{snares} of death prevented me;

snares Therefore {snares} [are] round about thee, and

sudden fear troubleth thee;

snares He taketh it with his eyes: [his] nose
pierceth

through {snares}.

snares Upon the wicked he shall rain {snares}, fire
and

brimstone, and an horrible tempest: [this shall be] the portion

their cup.

lay wait, as he that setteth {snares}; they set a trap, they
catch

men.

snares Let a cry be heard from their houses, when
thou

shalt bring a troop suddenly upon them: for they have digged a
pit

to take me, and hid {snares} for my feet.
