and who [is] the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies
shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their
high

places.

shield <2SA1 -21> Ye mountains of Gilboa, [let there be] no dew,
neither [let there be] rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings:
for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the
{shield} of Saul, [as though he had] not [been] anointed with
oil.

shield <2SA1 -21> Ye mountains of Gilboa, [let there be] no dew,

made them captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds,
according to the houses of [their] fathers, throughout all Judah
and Benjamin: and he numbered them from twenty years old and ab

go forth to war, that could handle spear and {shield}.

shield The quiver rattleth against him, the
glittering spear and the {shield}.

shield But thou, O LORD, [art] a {shield} for me; my
glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

shield For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with
favour wilt thou compass him as [with] a {shield}.

shield Thou hast also given me the {shield} of thy
salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy
gentleness hath made me great.

shield The LORD [is] my strength and my {shield}; my
heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart
greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

shield Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he [is] our
help and our {shield}.

shield Take hold of {shield} and buckler, and stand
up for mine help.

shield Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter
them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our {shield}.

shield There brake he the arrows of the bow, the
{shield}, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.

shield Behold, O God our {shield}, and look upon the
face of thine anointed.

shield For the LORD God [is] a sun and {shield}: the
LORD will give grace and glory: no good [thing] will he withhold
from them that walk uprightly.

shield He shall cover thee with his feathers, and
under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth [shall be thy]
{shield} and buckler.

their help and their {shield}.

their help and their {shield}.

[is] their help and their {shield}.

shield Thou [art] my hiding place and my {shield}:
I hope in thy word.

shield My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower,
and my deliverer; my {shield}, and [he] in whom I trust; who
subdueth my people under me.

shield Every word of God [is] pure: he [is] a
{shield} unto them that put their trust in him.

shield Prepare the table, watch in the watchtower,
eat, drink: arise, ye princes, [and] anoint the {shield}.

shield And Elam bare the quiver with chariots of men
[and] horsemen, and Kir uncovered the {shield}.

shield Order ye the buckler and {shield}, and draw
near to battle.

shield Come up, ye horses; and rage, ye chariots; and
let the mighty men come forth; the Ethiopians and the Libyans,
that handle the {shield}; and the Lydians, that handle [and]
bend the bow.

shield And they shall come against thee with
chariots, wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people,
[which] shall set against thee buckler and {shield} and helmet
round about: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall
judge th

thine army, thy men of war: they hanged the {shield} and helmet
in thee; they set forth thy comeliness.

them with {shield} and helmet:

shield The {shield} of his mighty men is made red, the
valiant men [are] in scarlet: the chariots [shall be] with
flaming torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees
shall be terribly shaken.
