rend And [there was] an hole in the midst of the
robe,

as the hole of an habergeon, [with] a band round about the hole,

that it should not {rend}.

rend And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and
unto

Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither {rend} your

clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people:
but

let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the

burning which the LORD hath kindled.

r

end And if the priest look, and, behold, the plague
[be]

somewhat dark after the washing of it; then he shall {rend} it
out

of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of

the woof:

rend And [he that is] the high priest among his

brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that
is

consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head,
nor

{rend} his clothes;

rend <2SA3 -31> And David said to Joab, and to all the people
that

[were] with him, {Rend} your clothes, and gird you with
sackcloth,

and mourn before Abner. And king David [himself] followed the
bier.

rend <1KI11 -11> Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch
as

this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my

statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely {rend} the

kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

rend <1KI11 -12> Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for

David thy father's sake: [but] I will {rend} it out of the hand
of

thy son.

rend <1KI11 -13> Howbeit I will not {rend} away all the kingdom;

[but] will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant's sake,

and for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen.

rend <1KI11 -31> And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces:
for

thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will {rend} the

kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to

thee:

rend <2CH34 -27> Because thine heart was tender, and thou didst

humble thyself before God, when thou heardest his words against
this

place, and against the inhabitants thereof, and humbledst thyself

before me, and didst {rend} thy clothes, and weep before

me; I have even heard [thee] also, saith the LORD.

r

end A time to {rend}, and a time to sew; a time to keep

silence, and a time to speak;

rend Oh that thou wouldest {rend} the heavens, that
thou

wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy

presence.

rend Say unto them which daub [it] with untempered

[mortar], that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing
shower;

and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall

{rend} [it].

rend Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even

{rend} [it] with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an

overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in [my]
fury

to consume [it].

rend When they took hold of thee by thy hand, thou
didst

break, and {rend} all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon

thee, thou brakest, and madest all their loins to be at a stand.

rend I will meet them as a bear [that is] bereaved [of

her whelps], and will {rend} the caul of their heart, and there
will

I devour them like a lion: the wild beast shall tear them.

rend And {rend} your heart, and not your garments, and

turn unto the LORD your God: for he [is] gracious and merciful,
slow

to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

rend Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither

cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under
their

feet, and turn again and {rend} you.

rend They said therefore among themselves, Let us not

{rend} it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the

scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment

among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These thing

s therefore the soldiers did.
