phenice Now they which were scattered abroad upon the

persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as
{Phenice},

and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the

Jews only.

phenice And being brought on their way by the church,

they passed through {Phenice} and Samaria, declaring the
conversion

of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.

phenice And because the haven was not commodious to

winter in, the more part advised to depart thence also, if by any

means they might attain to {Phenice}, and there] to winter; which

is] an haven of Crete, and lieth toward the south west and

north west.
