malchiah <1CH6 -40> The son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the
son of {Malchiah},
malchiah Moreover of Israel: of the sons of Parosh;
Ramiah, and Jeziah, and {Malchiah}, and Miamin, and Eleazar, and
Malchijah, and Benaiah.
malchiah And [of] the sons of Harim; Eliezer,
Ishijah, {Malchiah}, Shemaiah, Shimeon,
malchiah But the dung gate repaired {Malchiah} the
son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Bethhaccerem; he built it,
and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars
thereof.
malchiah After him repaired {Malchiah} the
goldsmith's son unto the place of the Nethinims, and of the
merchants, over against the gate Miphkad, and to the going up of
the corner.
malchiah And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of
wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood
Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and
Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and M
ishael, and {Malchiah}, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah,
[and] Meshullam.
malchiah And their brethren that did the work of the
house [were] eight hundred twenty and two: and Adaiah the son of
Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of
Zechariah, the son of Pashur, the son of {Malchiah},
malchiah Then Shephatiah the son of Mattan, and
Gedaliah the son of Pashur, and Jucal the son of Shelemiah, and
Pashur the son of {Malchiah}, heard the words that Jeremiah had
spoken unto all the people, saying,
malchiah Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into
the dungeon of {Malchiah} the son of Hammelech, that [was] in
the court of the prison: and they let down Jeremiah with cords.
And in the dungeon [there was] no water, but mire: so Jeremiah
sun
k in the mire.
