lied <1KI13 -18> He said unto him, I [am] a prophet also as thou

[art]; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD,
saying,

Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread
and

drink water. [But] he {lied} unto him.

lied Nevertheless they did flatter him with their
mouth,

and they {lied} unto him with their tongues.

lied And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared,
that

thou hast {lied}, and hast not remembered me, nor laid [it] to
thy

heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me

not?

lied Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and
after

it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou
conceived

this thing in thine heart? thou hast not {lied} unto men, but
unto

God.
