Jacob, but {Israel}: for as a prince hast thou power with God and

with men, and hast prevailed.

israel Therefore the children of {Israel} eat not
[of]

the sinew which shrank, which [is] upon the hollow of the thigh,

unto this day: because he touched the hollow of Jacob's thigh in
the

sinew that shrank.

israel And the sons of Jacob came out of the field

they heard [it]: and the men were grieved, and they were very
wroth,

because he had wrought folly in {Israel} in lying with Jacob's

daughter; which thing ought not to be done.

with me, [as] to tell the man whether ye had yet a brother?

lad with me, and we will arise and go; that we may live, and not

die, both we, and thou, [and] also our little ones.

must be] so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in

your vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little balm,

little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds:

israel And the children of {Israel} did so: and

gave them wagons, according to the commandment of Pharaoh, and

them provision for the way.

israel And {Israel} said, [It is] enough; Joseph my
son

[is] yet alive: I will go and see him before I die.

israel And {Israel} took his journey with all that he

had, and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God
of

his father Isaac.

israel And God spake unto {Israel} in the visions of
the

night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here [am] I.

israel And Jacob rose up from Beersheba: and the sons
of

{Israel} carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and

their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.

israel And these [are] the names of the children of

{Israel}, which came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons: Reuben,
Jacob's

firstborn.

israel And Joseph made ready his chariot, and went
up to

meet {Israel} his father, to Goshen, and presented himself unto
him;

and he fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while.

israel And {Israel} said unto Joseph, Now let me die,

since I have seen thy face, because thou [art] yet alive.

israel And {Israel} dwelt in the land of Egypt, in
the

country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew,
and

multiplied exceedingly.

israel And the time drew nigh that {Israel} must die:

and he called his son Joseph, and said unto him, If now I have
found

grace in thy sight, put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh,
and

deal kindly and truly with me; bury me not, I pray th

ee, in Egypt:

israel And he said, Swear unto me. And he sware unto

him. And {Israel} bowed himself upon the bed's head.

israel And [one] told Jacob, and said, Behold, thy son

Joseph cometh unto thee: and {Israel} strengthened himself, and
sat

upon the bed.

israel And {Israel} beheld Joseph's sons, and said,
Who

[are] these?

israel Now the eyes of {Israel} were dim for age, [so

that] he could not see. And he brought them near unto him; and he

kissed them, and embraced them.

israel And {Israel} said unto Joseph, I had not
thought

to see thy face: and, lo, God hath showed me also thy seed.

israel And {Israel} stretched out his right hand, and

laid [it] upon Ephraim's head, who [was] the younger, and his
left

hand upon Manasseh's head, guiding his hands wittingly; for
Manasseh

[was] the firstborn.

israel And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee

shall {Israel} bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and as

Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.

israel And {Israel} said unto Joseph, Behold, I die:
but

God shall be with you, and bring you again unto the land of your

fathers.

israel Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons
of

Jacob; and hearken unto {Israel} your father.

israel Cursed [be] their anger, for [it was] fierce;
and

their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and

scatter them in {Israel}.

israel Dan shall judge his people, as one of the
tribes

of {Israel}.

israel But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of

his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty [God] of

Jacob; (from thence [is] the shepherd, the stone of {Israel}:)

israel All these [are] the twelve tribes of {Israel}:

and this [is it] that their father spake unto them, and blessed

them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them.

israel And Joseph commanded his servants the
physicians

to embalm his father: and the physicians embalmed {Israel}.

israel And Joseph took an oath of the children of

{Israel}, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry
up

my bones from hence.

israel Now these [are] the names of the children of

{Israel}, which came into Egypt; every man and his household came

with Jacob.

israel And the children of {Israel} were fruitful, and

increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty;

and the land was filled with them.

israel And he said unto his people, Behold, the people
of

the children of {Israel} [are] more and mightier than we:

israel But the more they afflicted them, the more they

multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the
children

of {Israel}.

israel And the Egyptians made the children of
{Israel} to

serve with rigour:

israel And it came to pass in process of time, that
the

king of Egypt died: and the children of {Israel} sighed by
reason of

the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by

reason of the bondage.

israel And God looked upon the children of {Israel},
and

God had respect unto [them].

israel Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children
of

{Israel} is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression

wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.

israel Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto

Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of

{Israel} out of Egypt.

israel And Moses said unto God, Who [am] I, that I
should

go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of

{Israel} out of Egypt?

israel And Moses said unto God, Behold, [when] I come

unto the children of {Israel}, and shall say unto them, The God
of

your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me,
What

[is] his name? what shall I say unto them?

israel And God said unto Moses, I he

said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of {Israel}, I

sent me unto you.

israel And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt
thou

say unto the children of {Israel}, The LORD God of your fathers,
the

God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath
sent me

unto you: this [is] my name for ever, and this [i

s] my memorial unto all generations.

israel Go, and gather the elders of {Israel} together,

and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of
Abraham,

of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely

visited you, and [seen] that which is done to you in Egy

pt:

israel And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou

shalt come, thou and the elders of {Israel}, unto the king of
Egypt,

and ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met
with

us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days' j

ourney into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our

God.

israel And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the

LORD, {Israel} [is] my son, [even] my firstborn:

israel And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together
all

the elders of the children of {Israel}:

israel And the people believed: and when they heard
that

the LORD had visited the children of {Israel}, and that he had

looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and

worshipped.

israel And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told

Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of {Israel}, Let my people go,
that

they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.

israel And Pharaoh said, Who [is] the LORD, that I
should

obey his voice to let {Israel} go? I know not the LORD, neither
will

I let Israel go.

israel And Pharaoh said, Who [is] the LORD, that I

israel And the officers of the children of {Israel},

which Pharaoh's taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, [and]

demanded, Wherefore have ye not fulfilled your task in making

came

and cried unto Pharaoh, saying, Wherefore dealest thou thus with
thy

servants?

israel And the officers of the children of {Israel}
did

see [that] they [were] in evil [case], after it was said, Ye
shall

not minish [ought] from your bricks of your daily task.

israel And I have also heard the groaning of the
children

of {Israel}, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have

remembered my covenant.

israel Wherefore say unto the children of {Israel}, I
[am]

the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the

Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will

redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgme

nts:

israel And Moses spake so unto the children of
{Israel}:

but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for

cruel bondage.

israel Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that
he

let the children of {Israel} go out of his land.

israel And Moses spake before the LORD, saying,
Behold,

the children of {Israel} have not hearkened unto me; how then
shall

Pharaoh hear me, who [am] of uncircumcised lips?

israel And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron,
and

gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh

king of Egypt, to bring the children of {Israel} out of the land
of

Egypt.

israel And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron,
and

israel These [be] the heads of their fathers' houses:
The

israel These [are] that Aaron and Moses, to whom the
LORD

said, Bring out the children of {Israel} from the land of Egypt

according to their armies.

israel These [are] they which spake to Pharaoh king of

Egypt, to bring out the children of {Israel} from Egypt: these
[are]

that Moses and Aaron.

israel Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and
Aaron

thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children
of

{Israel} out of his land.

israel But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I
may

lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, [and] my
people

the children of {Israel}, out of the land of Egypt by great

judgments.

israel And the Egyptians shall know that I [am] the
LORD,

when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the

children of {Israel} from among them.

israel And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of

Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of
all

[that is] the children's of {Israel}.

israel And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of

israel And the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and
all

the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the children of

{Israel} [were], was there no hail.

israel And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, neither

would he let the children of {Israel} go; as the LORD had spoken
by

Moses.

israel But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so
that he

would not let the children of {Israel} go.

israel They saw not one another, neither rose any
from

his place for three days: but all the children of {Israel} had
light

in their dwellings.

israel But against any of the children of {Israel}
shall

not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know

how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and

Israel.

israel But against any of the children of Israel shall

israel And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders
before

saying, In the tenth [day] of this month they shall take to them

every man a lamb, according to the house of [their] fathers, a
lamb

for an house:

israel And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth
day

of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of

{Israel} shall kill it in the evening.

israel Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even

the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for

whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the
seventh

day, that soul shall be cut off from {Israel}.

israel Seven days shall there be no leaven found in
your

houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that
soul

shall be cut off from the congregation of {Israel}, whether he
be a

stranger, or born in the land.

israel Then Moses called for all the elders of
{Israel},

and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to
your

families, and kill the passover.

israel That ye shall say, It [is] the sacrifice of
the

LORD'S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of

{Israel} in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our

houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.

israel And the children of {Israel} went away, and
did

as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

israel And he called for Moses and Aaron by night,
and

said, Rise up, [and] get you forth from among my people, both ye
and

the children of {Israel}; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have
said.

israel And the children of {Israel} did according to
the

word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of
silver,

and jewels of gold, and raiment:

israel And the children of {Israel} journeyed from

Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot [that
were]

men, beside children.

israel Now the sojourning of the children of
{Israel},

who dwelt in Egypt, [was] four hundred and thirty years.

israel It [is] a night to be much observed unto the
LORD

for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this [is] that
night

of the LORD to be observed of all the children of {Israel} in
their

generations.

israel All the congregation of {Israel} shall keep
it.

israel Thus did all the children of {Israel}; as the

LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

israel And it came to pass the selfsame day, [that]
the

LORD did bring the children of {Israel} out of the land of Egypt
by

their armies.

israel Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever

openeth the womb among the children of {Israel}, [both] of man
and

of beast: it [is] mine.

israel But God led the people about, [through] the
way

of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of {Israel}
went

up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.

israel And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him:
for

he had straitly sworn the children of {Israel}, saying, God will

surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with

you.

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, that they

turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea,
over

against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea.

israel For Pharaoh will say of the children of
{Israel},

They [are] entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them
in.

israel And it was told the king of Egypt that the
people

fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned

against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we

have let {Israel} go from serving us?

israel And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh
king of

Egypt, and he pursued after the children of {Israel}: and the

children of Israel went out with an high hand.

the camp of {Israel}; and it was a cloud and darkness [to them],
but

it gave light by night [to these]: so that the one came not near
the

other all the night.

israel And the children of {Israel} went into the
midst

of the sea upon the dry [ground]: and the waters [were] a wall
unto

them on their right hand, and on their left.

israel And took off their chariot wheels, that they

drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from
the

face of {Israel}; for the LORD fighteth for them against the

Egyptians.

israel But the children of {Israel} walked upon dry

[land] in the midst of the sea; and the waters [were] a wall unto

them on their right hand, and on their left.

israel Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the

hand of the Egyptians; and {Israel} saw the Egyptians dead upon
the

sea shore.

israel Thus the LORD saved {Israel} that day out of

israel And {Israel} saw that great work which the
LORD

did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and

for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he

thrown into the sea.

israel For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his

chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought

again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of
{Israel}

went on dry [land] in the midst of the sea.

israel So Moses brought {Israel} from the Red sea,
and

they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three
days

in the wilderness, and found no water.

israel And they took their journey from Elim, and all
the

congregation of the children of {Israel} came unto the
wilderness of

Sin, which [is] between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of
the

second month after their departing out of the lan

d of Egypt.

israel And the whole congregation of the children of

{Israel} murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness:

israel And the children of {Israel} said unto them,
Would

to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt,

when we sat by the flesh pots, [and] when we did eat bread to the

full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness

, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.

israel And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children
of

{Israel}, At even, then ye shall know that the LORD hath brought
you

out from the land of Egypt:

israel And Moses spake unto Aaron, Say unto all the

congregation of the children of {Israel}, Come near before the
LORD:

for he hath heard your murmurings.

israel And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the

whole congregation of the children of {Israel}, that they looked

toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD
appeared

in the cloud.

israel I have heard the murmurings of the children of

{Israel}: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh,
and

in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know
that

I [am] the LORD your God.

israel And when the children of {Israel} saw [it],
they

said one to another, It [is] manna: for they wist not what it
[was].

And Moses said unto them, This [is] the bread which the LORD hath

given you to eat.

israel And the children of {Israel} did so, and

gathered, some more, some less.

israel And the house of {Israel} called the name
thereof

Manna: and it [was] like coriander seed, white; and the taste of
it

[was] like wafers [made] with honey.

israel And the children of {Israel} did eat manna
forty

years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna,

until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan.

israel And all the congregation of the children of

{Israel} journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their
journeys,

according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in
Rephidim:

and [there was] no water for the people to drink.

israel And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the

people, and take with thee of the elders of {Israel}; and thy
rod,

wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.

israel Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the

rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall
come

water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in
the

sight of the elders of {Israel}.

israel And he called the name of the place Massah, and

Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of {Israel}, and

because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or
not?

israel Then came Amalek, and fought with {Israel} in

Rephidim.

israel And it came to pass, when Moses held up his
hand,

that {Israel} prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek

prevailed.

israel When Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses'
father

in law, heard of all that God had done for Moses, and for
{Israel}

his people, [and] that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt;

israel When Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses'

israel And Jethro rejoiced for all the goodness which
the

offering and sacrifices for God: and Aaron came, and all the
elders

of {Israel}, to eat bread with Moses' father in law before God.

israel And Moses chose able men out of all {Israel},
and

made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of

hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

israel In the third month, when the children of
{Israel}

were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they

[into] the wilderness of Sinai.

israel For they were departed from Rephidim, and were

come [to] the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness;

and there {Israel} camped before the mount.

israel And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called

unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the

house of Jacob, and tell the children of {Israel};

israel And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests,
and

an holy nation. These [are] the words which thou shalt speak unto

the children of {Israel}.

israel And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt
say

unto the children of {Israel}, Ye have seen that I have talked
with

you from heaven.

israel And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD,

thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of

{Israel}; and worship ye afar off.

israel And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and

rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the
hill,

and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of {Israel}.

israel And he sent young men of the children of
{Israel},

which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of

oxen unto the LORD.

israel Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and
Abihu,

and seventy of the elders of {Israel}:

israel And they saw the God of {Israel}: and [there
was]

under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and
as

it were the body of heaven in [his] clearness.

israel And upon the nobles of the children of
{Israel}

he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.

israel And the sight of the glory of the LORD [was]
like

devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the
children

of {Israel}.

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, that they

bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with
his

heart ye shall take my offering.

israel And there I will meet with thee, and I will

commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two

cherubims which [are] upon the ark of the testimony, of all
[things]

which I will give thee in commandment unto the children o

f {Israel}.

israel And thou shalt command the children of
{Israel},

that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to
cause

the lamp to burn always.

israel In the tabernacle of the congregation without
the

veil, which [is] before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall

order it from evening to morning before the LORD: [it shall be] a

statute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of

the children of {Israel}.

israel And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and
his

sons with him, from among the children of {Israel}, that he may

minister unto me in the priest's office, [even] Aaron, Nadab and

Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons.

israel And thou shalt take two onyx stones, and grave
on

them the names of the children of {Israel}:

israel With the work of an engraver in stone, [like]
the

engravings of a signet, shalt thou engrave the two stones with
the

names of the children of {Israel}: thou shalt make them to be
set in

ouches of gold.

israel And thou shalt put the two stones upon the

shoulders of the ephod [for] stones of memorial unto the
children of

{Israel}: and Aaron shall bear their names before the LORD upon
his

two shoulders for a memorial.

israel And the stones shall be with the names of the

engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be

according to the twelve tribes.

goeth in unto the holy [place], for a memorial before the LORD

continually.

the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron's heart,

he goeth in before the LORD: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of

the children of {Israel} upon his heart before the

LORD continually.

israel And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead, that
Aaron

may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of

{Israel} shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be

always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before

the LORD.

israel And it shall be Aaron's and his sons' by a

statute for ever from the children of {Israel}: for it [is] an
heave

eir heave offering unto the LORD.

children of Israel, and shalt appoint it for the service of the

tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a memorial unto
the

children of {Israel} before the LORD, to make an atonement

for your souls.

a perpetual covenant.

{Israel} for ever: for [in] six days the LORD made heaven and
earth,

and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

israel And he received [them] at their hand, and

fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten

calf: and they said, These [be] thy gods, O {Israel}, which
brought

thee up out of the land of Egypt.

israel They have turned aside quickly out of the way

which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and
have

worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These
[be]

thy gods, O {Israel}, which have brought thee up out of

the land of Egypt.

israel Remember Abraham, Isaac, and {Israel}, thy

servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto

them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all
this

land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and

they shall inherit [it] for ever.

israel And he took the calf which they had made, and

burnt [it] in the fire, and ground [it] to powder, and strowed
[it]

upon the water, and made the children of {Israel} drink [of it].

israel And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD
God of

{Israel}, Put every man his sword by his side, [and] go in and
out

from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his

brother, and every man his companion, and every man his n

eighbour.

israel For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the

children of {Israel}, Ye [are] a stiffnecked people: I will come
up

into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore
now

put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what

to do unto thee.

israel And the children of {Israel} stripped
themselves

of their ornaments by the mount Horeb.

israel Thrice in the year shall all your menchildren

appear before the Lord GOD, the God of {Israel}.

israel And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these

words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant

with thee and with {Israel}.

israel And when Aaron and all the children of
{Israel}

saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were
afraid

to come nigh him.

israel And afterward all the children of {Israel}
came

nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had
spoken

with him in mount Sinai.

israel But when Moses went in before the LORD to
speak

with him, he took the veil off, until he came out. And he came
out,

and spake unto the children of {Israel} [that] which he was

commanded.

israel And the children of {Israel} saw the face of

Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the veil

upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.

israel And Moses gathered all the congregation of the

children of {Israel} together, and said unto them, These [are]
the

words which the LORD hath commanded, that [ye] should do them.

israel And Moses spake unto all the congregation of

children of {Israel}, saying, This [is] the thing which the LORD

commanded, saying,

israel And all the congregation of the children of

{Israel} departed from the presence of Moses.

israel The children of {Israel} brought a willing

offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made
them

willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had

commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

israel And Moses said unto the children of {Israel},

See, the LORD hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the
son

of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

israel And they received of Moses all the offering,
which

the children of {Israel} had brought for the work of the service
of

the sanctuary, to make it [withal]. And they brought yet unto him

free offerings every morning.

israel And they wrought onyx stones enclosed in
ouches of

gold, graven, as signets are graven, with the names of the
children

of {Israel}.

israel And he put them on the shoulders of the ephod,

[that they should be] stones for a memorial to the children of

{Israel}; as the LORD commanded Moses.

israel And the stones [were] according to the names
of

the children of {Israel}, twelve, according to their names,
[like]

israel Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the

tent of the congregation finished: and the children of {Israel}
did

according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

israel And when the cloud was taken up from over the

tabernacle, the children of {Israel} went onward in all their

journeys:

israel For the cloud of the LORD [was] upon the

tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, and say
unto

them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall

bring your offering of the cattle, [even] of the herd, and of the

flock.

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, saying, If
a

soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments
of

the LORD [concerning things] which ought not to be done, and
shall

do against any of them:

israel And if the whole congregation of {Israel} sin

through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the

assembly, and they have done [somewhat against] any of the

commandments of the LORD [concerning things] which should not be

done,

and are guilty;

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, saying, Ye

shall eat no manner of fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat.

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, saying, He

that offereth the sacrifice of his peace offerings unto the LORD

shall bring his oblation unto the LORD of the sacrifice of his
peace

offerings.

israel For the wave breast and the heave shoulder
have I

taken of the children of {Israel} from off the sacrifices of
their

peace offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and
unto

his sons by a statute for ever from among the childr

en of Israel.

israel And unto the children of {Israel} thou shalt
speak,

saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf

and a lamb, [both] of the first year, without blemish, for a
burnt

offering;

israel And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and

unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your

clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people:
but

let your brethren, the whole house of {Israel}, bewail t

he burning which the LORD hath kindled.

israel And that ye may teach the children of {Israel}

all the statutes which the LORD hath spoken unto them by the
hand of

Moses.

eat in a clean place; thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters with

thee: for [they be] thy due, and thy sons' due, [which] are given

out of the sacrifices of peace offerings of the children

of {Israel}.

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, saying,
These

[are] the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that
[are]

on the earth.

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, saying,
If a

woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall
be

unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for
her

infirmity shall she be unclean.

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, and say
unto

them, When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh,
[because

of] his issue he [is] unclean.

israel Thus shall ye separate the children of
{Israel}

from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness,
when

they defile my tabernacle that [is] among them.

israel And he shall take of the congregation of the

children of {Israel} two kids of the goats for a sin offering,
and

one ram for a burnt offering.

israel And he shall make an atonement for the holy

[place], because of the uncleanness of the children of {Israel},
and

because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall
he

do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remainet

h among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

israel And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of

the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the
holy

[place], until he come out, and have made an atonement for
himself,

and for his household, and for all the congregation of

{Israel}.

israel And he shall sprinkle of the blood upon it
with

his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and hallow it from the

uncleanness of the children of {Israel}.

israel And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the
head

of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the

children of {Israel}, and all their transgressions in all their

sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall se

nd [him] away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:

israel And this shall be an everlasting statute unto

you, to make an atonement for the children of {Israel} for all
their

sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses.

israel Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto
all

the children of {Israel}, and say unto them; This [is] the thing

which the LORD hath commanded, saying,

israel What man soever [there be] of the house of

{Israel}, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or
that

killeth [it] out of the camp,

israel To the end that the children of {Israel} may
bring

their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that
they

may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of
the

congregation, unto the priest, and offer them [f

or] peace offerings unto the LORD.

israel And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man

[there be] of the house of {Israel}, or of the strangers which

sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice,

israel And whatsoever man [there be] of the house of

{Israel}, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth

any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul
that

eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people

.

israel Therefore I said unto the children of
{Israel},

No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that

sojourneth among you eat blood.

israel And whatsoever man [there be] of the children
of

{Israel}, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which
hunteth

and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even
pour

out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.

israel For [it is] the life of all flesh; the blood
of

it [is] for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children
of

{Israel}, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the
life

of all flesh [is] the blood thereof: whosoever eate

th it shall be cut off.

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, and say
unto

them, I am the LORD your God.

israel Speak unto all the congregation of the
children of

{Israel}, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD
your

God [am] holy.

israel Again, thou shalt say to the children of
Israel,

Whosoever [he be] of the children of Israel, or of the strangers

that sojourn in {Israel}, that giveth [any] of his seed unto
Molech;

he shall surely be put to death: the people of the lan

d shall stone him with stones.

israel Again, thou shalt say to the children of
Israel,

sons,

and unto all the children of {Israel}.

separate themselves from the holy things of the children of

{Israel}, and that they profane not my holy name [in those
things]

which they hallow unto me: I [am] the LORD.

israel Say unto them, Whosoever [he be] of all your
seed

among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which
the

children of {Israel} hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness

upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence:

I [am] the LORD.

israel And they shall not profane the holy things of

israel Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I
will

be hallowed among the children of {Israel}: I [am] the LORD which

hallow you,

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, and say
unto

them, [Concerning] the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall
proclaim

[to be] holy convocations, [even] these [are] my feasts.

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, and say
unto

them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and
shall

reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the

firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, saying,
In

the seventh month, in the first [day] of the month, shall ye
have a

sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, saying,
The

fifteenth day of this seventh month [shall be] the feast of

tabernacles [for] seven days unto the LORD.

israel That your generations may know that I made the

children of {Israel} to dwell in booths, when I brought them out
of

the land of Egypt: I [am] the LORD your God.

israel And Moses declared unto the children of
{Israel}

the feasts of the LORD.

israel Command the children of {Israel}, that they
bring

unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the
lamps to

burn continually.

israel Every sabbath he shall set it in order before
the

LORD continually, [being taken] from the children of {Israel} by
an

everlasting covenant.

israel And the son of an Israelitish woman, whose
father

[was] an Egyptian, went out among the children of {Israel}: and
this

son of the Israelitish [woman] and a man of Israel strove
together

in the camp;

israel And ye shall take them as an inheritance for

children after you, to inherit [them for] a possession; they
shall

be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of

{Israel}, ye shall not rule one over another with rigo

ur.

israel For unto me the children of {Israel} [are]

servants; they [are] my servants whom I brought forth out of the

land of Egypt: I [am] the LORD your God.

israel These [are] the statutes and judgments and
laws,

which the LORD made between him and the children of {Israel} in

mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, and say
unto

them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons [shall
be]

for the LORD by thy estimation.

israel These [are] the commandments, which the LORD

commanded Moses for the children of {Israel} in mount Sinai.

israel Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the

children of {Israel}, after their families, by the house of their

fathers, with the number of [their] names, every male by their

polls;

israel From twenty years old and upward, all that are
able

to go forth to war in {Israel}: thou and Aaron shall number them
by

their armies.

israel These [were] the renowned of the congregation,

princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in

{Israel}.

israel These [are] those that were numbered, which
Moses

and Aaron numbered, and the princes of {Israel}, [being] twelve
men:

each one was for the house of his fathers.

israel So were all those that were numbered of the

children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty
years

old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in
{Israel};

israel So were all those that were numbered of the

children of {Israel}, by the house of their fathers, from twenty

israel Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi,

neither take the sum of them among the children of {Israel}:

tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own

tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the

congregation of the children of {Israel}: and the Levites shall
keep

the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.

israel And the children of {Israel} did according to
all

that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

israel Every man of the children of {Israel} shall
pitch

by his own standard, with the ensign of their father's house: far

off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.

israel These [are] those which were numbered of the

children of {Israel} by the house of their fathers: all those
that

were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts [were] six
hundred

thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

israel But the Levites were not numbered among the

children of {Israel}; as the LORD commanded Moses.

israel And the children of {Israel} did according to
all

that the LORD commanded Moses: so they pitched by their
standards,

and so they set forward, every one after their families,
according

to the house of their fathers.

israel And they shall keep all the instruments of the

tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of

{Israel}, to do the service of the tabernacle.

israel And thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and
to

his sons: they [are] wholly given unto him out of the children of

{Israel}.

israel And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from
among

the children of {Israel} instead of all the firstborn that
openeth

the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites
shall

be mine;

israel And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from
among

the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth

israel Because all the firstborn [are] mine; [for] on
the

day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I

israel But those that encamp before the tabernacle
toward

the east, [even] before the tabernacle of the congregation
eastward,

[shall be] Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of
the

sanctuary for the charge of the children of {Isra

el}; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

israel And the LORD said unto Moses, Number all the

firstborn of the males of the children of {Israel} from a month
old

and upward, and take the number of their names.

israel And thou shalt take the Levites for me (I [am]
the

LORD) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel;
and

the cattle of the Levites instead of all the firstlings among the

cattle of the children of {Israel}.

israel And thou shalt take the Levites for me (I [am]

israel And Moses numbered, as the LORD commanded him,

israel And for those that are to be redeemed of the
two

hundred and threescore and thirteen of the firstborn of the

he the money; a thousand three hundred and threescore and five

[shekels], after the shekel of the sanctuary:

israel All those that were numbered of the Levites,
whom

Moses and Aaron and the chief of {Israel} numbered, after their

families, and after the house of their fathers,

israel Command the children of {Israel}, that they put
out

of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and

whosoever is defiled by the dead:

israel And the children of {Israel} did so, and put
them

out without the camp: as the LORD spake unto Moses, so did the

children of Israel.

them, If any man's wife go aside, and commit a trespass against
him,

them, When either man or woman shall separate [themselves] to
vow a

vow of a Nazarite, to separate [themselves] unto the LORD:

israel Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On

this wise ye shall bless the children of {Israel}, saying unto
them,

israel And they shall put my name upon the children of

{Israel}; and I will bless them.

israel That the princes of {Israel}, heads of the
house of

their fathers, who [were] the princes of the tribes, and were
over

them that were numbered, offered:

israel This [was] the dedication of the altar, in the
day

when it was anointed, by the princes of {Israel}: twelve
chargers of

silver, twelve silver bowls, twelve spoons of gold:

israel Take the Levites from among the children of

{Israel}, and cleanse them.

israel And thou shalt bring the Levites before the

tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt gather the whole

assembly of the children of {Israel} together:

israel And thou shalt bring the Levites before the
LORD:

and the children of {Israel} shall put their hands upon the
Levites:

israel And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the
LORD

[for] an offering of the children of {Israel}, that they may
execute

the service of the LORD.

israel Thus shalt thou separate the Levites from among

the children of {Israel}: and the Levites shall be mine.

israel For they [are] wholly given unto me from among
the

children of {Israel}; instead of such as open every womb, [even

instead of] the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I

taken them unto me.

children of {Israel}?

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, saying, If

any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason
of a

dead body, or [be] in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the

passover unto the LORD.

israel And when the cloud was taken up from the

tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed:
and in

the place where the cloud abode, there the children of {Israel}

pitched their tents.

but when it was taken up, they journeyed.

israel And if they blow [but] with one [trumpet], then

the princes, [which are] heads of the thousands of {Israel},
shall

gather themselves unto thee.

israel And the children of {Israel} took their
journeys

out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the

wilderness of Paran.

israel Thus [were] the journeyings of the children of

{Israel} according to their armies, when they set forward.

israel And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel
the

Midianite, Moses' father in law, We are journeying unto the
place of

which the LORD said, I will give it you: come thou with us, and
we

will do thee good: for the LORD hath spoken good co

ncerning {Israel}.

israel And when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD,
unto

the many thousands of {Israel}.

israel And the mixed multitude that [was] among them
fell

a lusting: and the children of {Israel} also wept again, and
said,

Who shall give us flesh to eat?

israel And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me

seventy men of the elders of {Israel}, whom thou knowest to be
the

elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto

the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand th

ere with thee.

israel And Moses gat him into the camp, he and the

elders of {Israel}.

israel Send thou men, that they may search the land of

Canaan, which I give unto the children of {Israel}: of every
tribe

of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among
them.

israel And Moses by the commandment of the LORD sent
them

from the wilderness of Paran: all those men [were] heads of the

children of {Israel}.

israel The place was called the brook Eshcol,
because of

the cluster of grapes which the children of {Israel} cut down
from

thence.

israel And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron,

and to all the congregation of the children of {Israel}, unto the

wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them,
and

unto all the congregation, and showed them the fruit o

f the land.

israel And they brought up an evil report of the land

which they had searched unto the children of {Israel}, saying,
The

land, through which we have gone to search it, [is] a land that

eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that

we saw in it [are] men of a great stature.

israel And all the children of {Israel} murmured
against

Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto
them,

Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we
had

died in this wilderness!

israel Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before

all the assembly of the congregation of the children of {Israel}.

israel And they spake unto all the company of the

children of {Israel}, saying, The land, which we passed through
to

search it, [is] an exceeding good land.

israel But all the congregation bade stone them with

stones. And the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of
the

congregation before all the children of {Israel}.

israel How long [shall I bear with] this evil

congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the
murmurings

of the children of {Israel}, which they murmur against me.

israel And Moses told these sayings unto all the

children of {Israel}: and the people mourned greatly.

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, and say
unto

them, When ye be come into the land of your habitations, which I

give unto you,

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, and say
unto

them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you,

israel And the priest shall make an atonement for all

the congregation of the children of {Israel}, and it shall be

forgiven them; for it [is] ignorance: and they shall bring their

offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD, and their si

n offering before the LORD, for their ignorance:

israel And it shall be forgiven all the congregation
of

the children of {Israel}, and the stranger that sojourneth among

them; seeing all the people [were] in ignorance.

israel Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth

through ignorance, [both for] him that is born among the
children of

{Israel}, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.

israel And while the children of {Israel} were in the

wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the
sabbath

day.

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, and bid
them

that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments

throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe
of

the borders a ribband of blue:

israel And they rose up before Moses, with certain of
the

children of {Israel}, two hundred and fifty princes of the
assembly,

famous in the congregation, men of renown:

israel Seemeth it but] a small thing unto you, that
the

God of {Israel} hath separated you from the congregation of
Israel,

to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle
of

the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to mi

nister unto them?

israel Seemeth it but] a small thing unto you, that

israel And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and

Abiram; and the elders of {Israel} followed him.

israel And all {Israel} that [were] round about them

fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow
us up

[also].

israel The censers of these sinners against their own

souls, let them make them broad plates [for] a covering of the

altar: for they offered them before the LORD, therefore they are

hallowed: and they shall be a sign unto the children of {Isra

el}.

israel To be] a memorial unto the children of
{Israel},

that no stranger, which [is] not of the seed of Aaron, come near
to

offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as
his

company: as the LORD said to him by the hand of Mose

s.

israel But on the morrow all the congregation of the

children of {Israel} murmured against Moses and against Aaron,

saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD.

israel Speak unto the children of {Israel}, and take
of

every one of them a rod according to the house of [their]
fathers,

of all their princes according to the house of their fathers
twelve

rods: write thou every man's name upon his rod.

israel And it shall come to pass, [that] the man's
rod,

whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease
from me

the murmurings of the children of {Israel}, whereby they murmur

against you.

israel And Moses spake unto the children of {Israel},
and

every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince

one, according to their fathers' houses, [even] twelve rods: and
the

rod of Aaron [was] among their rods.

israel And Moses brought out all the rods from before
the

LORD unto all the children of {Israel}: and they looked, and took

every man his rod.

israel And the children of {Israel} spake unto Moses,

saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish.

israel And ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary,
and

the charge of the altar: that there be no wrath any more upon the

children of {Israel}.

israel And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the

Levites from among the children of {Israel}: to you [they are]
given

[as] a gift for the LORD, to do the service of the tabernacle of
the

congregation.

israel And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Behold, I also
have

given thee the charge of mine heave offerings of all the hallowed

things of the children of {Israel}; unto thee have I given them
by

reason of the anointing, and to thy sons, by an ordin

ance for ever.

israel And this [is] thine; the heave offering of
their

gift, with all the wave offerings of the children of {Israel}: I

have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters
with

thee, by a statute for ever: every one that is clean

in thy house shall eat of it.

israel Every thing devoted in {Israel} shall be
thine.

israel All the heave offerings of the holy things,
which

the children of {Israel} offer unto the LORD, have I given thee,
and

thy sons and thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: it
[is]

a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD unto

thee and to thy seed with thee.

israel And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt
have no

inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among

them: I [am] thy part and thine inheritance among the children of

{Israel}.

israel And, behold, I have given the children of Levi

all the tenth in {Israel} for an inheritance, for their service

which they serve, [even] the service of the tabernacle of the

congregation.

israel Neither must the children of {Israel}
henceforth

come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear sin,

and die.

israel But the Levites shall do the service of the

tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their
iniquity:

[it shall be] a statute for ever throughout your generations,
that

among the children of {Israel} they have no inheritance.

israel But the tithes of the children of {Israel},
which

they offer [as] an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to
the

Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the

children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.

israel But the tithes of the children of Israel,
which

they offer [as] an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to

israel Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto
them,

When ye take of the children of {Israel} the tithes which I have

given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up

heave offering of it for the LORD, [even] a tenth [part

] of the tithe.

israel Thus ye also shall offer an heave offering
unto

the LORD of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of

{Israel}; and ye shall give thereof the LORD'S heave offering to

Aaron the priest.

israel And ye shall bear no sin by reason of it,
when ye

have heaved from it the best of it: neither shall ye pollute the

holy things of the children of {Israel}, lest ye die.

israel This [is] the ordinance of the law which the
LORD

hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of {Israel}, that

they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein [is] no
blemish,

[and] upon which never came yoke:

israel And a man [that is] clean shall gather up the

ashes of the heifer, and lay [them] up without the camp in a
clean

place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children
of

{Israel} for a water of separation: it [is] a purificati

on for sin.

israel And he that gathereth the ashes of the heifer

shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: and it
shall

be unto the children of {Israel}, and unto the stranger that

sojourneth among them, for a statute for ever.

israel Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man
that

is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of
the

LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from {Israel}: because the

water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall

be unclean; his uncleanness [is] yet upon him.

israel Then came the children of {Israel}, [even] the

whole congregation, into the desert of Zin in the first month:
and

the people abode in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and was buried

there.

israel And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron,
Because

ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of

{Israel}, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the

land which I have given them.
