in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife
{hid} themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the
trees of the garden.

hid And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and
I was afraid, because I [was] naked; and I {hid} myself.

hid Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the
face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be {hid}; and I
shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall
come to pass, [that] every one that findeth me shall slay me.

hid And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods
which [were] in their hand, and [all their] earrings which

[was] by Shechem.

hid And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when
she saw him that he [was a] goodly [child], she {hid} him three
months.

hid And he looked this way and that way, and when he

in the sand.

hid Moreover he said, I [am] the God of thy father,
the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And
Moses {hid} his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

hid And if the whole congregation of Israel sin
through ignorance, and the thing be {hid} from the eyes of the
assembly, and they have done [somewhat against] any of the
commandments of the LORD [concerning things] which should not be
done, and

hid Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever
uncleanness [it be] that a man shall be defiled withal, and it
be {hid} from him; when he knoweth [of it], then he shall be
guilty.

hid Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with [his] lips to

knoweth [of it], then he shall be guilty in one of these.

from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be

there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they
shall suck [of] the abundance of the seas, and [of] treasures
{hid} in the sand.

hid And the woman took the two men, and {hid} them,
and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence
they [were]:

house, and {hid} them with the stalks of flax, which she had
laid in order upon the roof.

hid And the city shall be accursed, [even] it, and
all that [are] therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall
live, she and all that [are] with her in the house, because she
{hid} the messengers that we sent.

hid And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her
father's household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in
Israel [even] unto this day; because she {hid} the messengers,
which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.

hid When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish
garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold
of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and,
behold, they [are] {hid} in the earth in the midst of my tent,

and the silver under it.

hid So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran unto the
tent; and, behold, [it was] {hid} in his tent, and the silver
under it.

hid But these five kings fled, and {hid} themselves
in a cave at Makkedah.

hid And it was told Joshua, saying, The five kings

he hath {hid} himself among the stuff.

themselves in mount Ephraim, [when] they heard that the
Philistines fled, even they also followed hard after them in the
battle.

hid <1SA20 -24> So David {hid} himself in the field: and when
the new moon was come, the king sat him down to eat meat.

hid <2SA17 -9> Behold, he is {hid} now in some pit, or in some
[other] place: and it will come to pass, when some of them be
overthrown at the first, that whosoever heareth it will say,
There is a slaughter among the people that follow Absalom.

hid <2SA18 -13> Otherwise I should have wrought falsehood
against mine own life: for there is no matter {hid} from the
king, and thou thyself wouldest have set thyself against [me].

hid <1KI10 -3> And Solomon told her all her questions: there was
not [any] thing {hid} from the king, which he told her not.

hid <1KI18 -4> For it was [so], when Jezebel cut off the
prophets of the LORD, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and
{hid} them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.
)

hid <1KI18 -13> Was it not told my lord what I did when Jezebel
slew the prophets of the LORD, how I {hid} an hundred men of the
LORD's prophets by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and
water?

hid <2KI4 -27> And when she came to the man of God to the hill,
she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her
away. And the man of God said, Let her alone; for her soul [is]
vexed within her: and the LORD hath {hid} [it] from me, and hath

not told me.

hid <2KI6 -29> So we boiled my son, and did eat him: and I said
unto her on the next day, Give thy son, that we may eat him: and
she hath {hid} her son.

hid <2KI7 -8> And when these lepers came to the uttermost part
of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and

[it]; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carri

ed thence [also], and went and hid [it].

hid <2KI7 -8> And when these lepers came to the uttermost part
of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and

[it]; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried

thence [also], and went and {hid} [it].

hid <2KI11 -2> But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister
of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from
among the king's sons [which were] slain; and they {hid} him,
[even] him and his nurse, in the bedchamber from Athaliah, so
that

was nothing {hid} from Solomon which he told her not.

hid <2CH22 -9> And he sought Ahaziah: and they caught him, (for
he was {hid} in Samaria,) and brought him to Jehu: and when they
had slain him, they buried him: Because, said they, he [is] the
son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart. So

the house of Ahaziah had no power to keep still the kingdom.

hid <2CH22 -11> But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took
Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's
sons that were slain, and put him and his nurse in a bedchamber.

from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.

hid <2CH22 -12> And he was with them {hid} in the house of God
six years: and Athaliah reigned over the land.

womb, nor {hid} sorrow from mine eyes.

dig for it more than for {hid} treasures;

hid Why is light given] to a man whose way is {hid},
and whom God hath hedged in?

hid Thou shalt be {hid} from the scourge of the
tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it
cometh.

hid Which are blackish by reason of the ice, [and]
wherein the snow is {hid}:

hid And these [things] hast thou {hid} in thine
heart: I know that this [is] with thee.

hid Which wise men have told from their fathers, and
have not {hid} [it]:

hid For thou hast {hid} their heart from
understanding: therefore shalt thou not exalt [them].

hid All darkness [shall be] {hid} in his secret
places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with
him that is left in his tabernacle.

thing that is] {hid} bringeth he forth to light.

hid Seeing it is {hid} from the eyes of all living,
and kept close from the fowls of the air.

made: in the net which they {hid} is their own foot taken.

hid From men [which are] thy hand, O LORD, from men
of the world, [which have] their portion in [this] life, and
whose belly thou fillest with thy {hid} [treasure]: they are
full of children, and leave the rest of their [substance] to
their ba

bes.

hid His going forth [is] from the end of the heaven,
and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing {hid}
from the heat thereof.

hid For he hath not despised nor abhorred the
affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he {hid} his face from
him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

hid I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine
iniquity have I not {hid}. I said, I will confess my
transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of
my sin. Selah.

hid For without cause have they {hid} for me their
net [in] a pit, [which] without cause they have digged for my
soul.

hid Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and
let his net that he hath {hid} catch himself: into that very
destruction let him fall.

hid Lord, all my desire [is] before thee; and my
groaning is not {hid} from thee.

hid I have not {hid} thy righteousness within my
heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I
have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the
great congregation.

hid For [it was] not an enemy [that] reproached me;
then I could have borne [it]: neither [was it] he that hated me
[that] did magnify [himself] against me; then I would have {hid}
myself from him:

hid O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins
are not {hid} from thee.

hid Thy word have I {hid} in mine heart, that I
might not sin against thee.

hid My substance was not {hid} from thee, when I
was made in secret, [and] curiously wrought in the lowest parts
of the earth.

hid The proud have {hid} a snare for me, and cords;
they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me.
Selah.

hid If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for
her as [for] {hid} treasures;

hid Because ye have said, We have made a covenant
with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the
overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto
us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have
we {hid} ou

rselves:

hid Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a
marvellous work among this people, [even] a marvellous work and
a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise [men] shall perish, and
the understanding of their prudent [men] shall be {hid}.

hid Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel,
My way is {hid} from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over
from my God?

hid But this [is] a people robbed and spoiled; [they
are] all of them snared in holes, and they are {hid} in prison
houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil,
and none saith, Restore.

hid And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in
the shadow of his hand hath he {hid} me, and made me a polished
shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;

hid And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in
the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished
shaft; in his quiver hath he {hid} me;

hid I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to
them that plucked off the hair: I {hid} not my face from shame
and spitting.

hid He is despised and rejected of men; a man of
sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we {hid} as it were
[our] faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee,
saith the LORD thy Redeemer.

and smote him: I {hid} me, and was wroth, and he went on
frowardly in the way of his heart.

and your God, and your sins have {hid} [his] face from you, that
he will not hear.

{hid} thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our
iniquities.

hid That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall
bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the
earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former
troubles are forgotten, and because they are {hid} from mine
eyes.

hid So I went, and {hid} it by Euphrates, as the LORD
commanded me.

hid Then I went to Euphrates, and digged, and took
the girdle from the place where I had {hid} it: and, behold, the
girdle was marred, it was profitable for nothing.

hid For mine eyes [are] upon all their ways: they
are not {hid} from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from
mine eyes.

hid For mine eyes [are] upon all their ways: they
are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity {hid} from
mine eyes.

hid Let a cry be heard from their houses, when thou
shalt bring a troop suddenly upon them: for they have digged a
pit to take me, and {hid} snares for my feet.

hid They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but [it
is] to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain
in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I
have {hid} my face from this city.

the God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar
the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon
these stones that I have {hid}; and he shall spread his royal pav

ilion over them.

hid Her priests have violated my law, and have

the holy and profane, neither have they showed [difference]

from my sabb

aths, and I am profaned among them.

hid And the heathen shall know that the house of

from them.

[is] {hid}.

hid I will ransom them from the power of the grave;
I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O
grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be {hid} from
mine eyes.

hid And though they hide themselves in the top of
Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they
be {hid} from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I
command the serpent, and he shall bite them:

thou also shalt seek strength because of the enemy.

hid Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which

be known.

thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast
{hid} these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed
them unto babes.

and buyeth that field.

hid But he that had received one went and digged in
the earth, and {hid} his lord's money.

hid And I was afraid, and went and {hid} thy talent
in the earth: lo, [there] thou hast [that is] thine.

hid For there is nothing covered, that shall not be
revealed; neither {hid}, that shall not be known.

hid Even] the mystery which hath been {hid} from ages
and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

hid In whom are {hid} all the treasures of wisdom and
