heads And a river went out of Eden to water the
garden;

and from thence it was parted, and became into four {heads}.

heads And they answered, Thy servant our father [is]
in

good health, he [is] yet alive. And they bowed down their
{heads},

and made obeisance.

heads And the people believed: and when they heard
that

the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that he had
looked

upon their affliction, then they bowed their {heads} and
worshipped.

heads These [be] the {heads} of their fathers' houses:

The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel; Hanoch, and Pallu,

Hezron, and Carmi: these [be] the families of Reuben.

heads And Eleazar Aaron's son took him [one] of the

daughters of Putiel to wife; and she bare him Phinehas: these
[are]

the {heads} of the fathers of the Levites according to their

families.

heads And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and

made them {heads} over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of

hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

heads And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and

unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your {heads}, neither rend
your

clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people:
but

let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail th

e burning which the LORD hath kindled.

heads Ye shall not round the corners of your {heads},

neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.

heads These [were] the renowned of the congregation,

princes of the tribes of their fathers, {heads} of thousands in

Israel.

heads That the princes of Israel, {heads} of the house
of

their fathers, who [were] the princes of the tribes, and were
over

them that were numbered, offered:

heads And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the

{heads} of the bullocks: and thou shalt offer the one [for] a sin

offering, and the other [for] a burnt offering, unto the LORD, to

make an atonement for the Levites.

heads And if they blow [but] with one [trumpet], then
the

princes, [which are] {heads} of the thousands of Israel, shall

gather themselves unto thee.

heads And Moses by the commandment of the LORD sent
them

from the wilderness of Paran: all those men [were] {heads} of the

children of Israel.

heads And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the
{heads}

of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun,

that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.

heads And Moses spake unto the {heads} of the tribes

concerning the children of Israel, saying, This [is] the thing
which

the LORD hath commanded.

heads So I took the chief of your tribes, wise men,
and

known, and made them {heads} over you, captains over thousands,
and

captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains
over

tens, and officers among your tribes.

heads And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice
out of

the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,)

that ye came near unto me, [even] all the {heads} of your tribes,

and your elders;

heads And he was king in Jeshurun, when the {heads} of

the people [and] the tribes of Israel were gathered together.

heads And he provided the first part for himself,

because there, [in] a portion of the lawgiver, [was he] seated;
and

he came with the {heads} of the people, he executed the justice
of

the LORD, and his judgments with Israel.

heads And Joshua rent his clothes, and fell to the
earth

upon his face before the ark of the LORD until the eventide, he
and

the elders of Israel, and put dust upon their {heads}.

heads And these [are the countries] which the
children of

Israel inherited in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest,

and Joshua the son of Nun, and the {heads} of the fathers of the

tribes of the children of Israel, distributed for inher

itance to them.

heads These [are] the inheritances, which Eleazar the

priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the {heads} of the
fathers of

the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance
by

lot in Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the ta

bernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the

country.

heads Then came near the {heads} of the fathers of the

Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun,
and

unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of

Israel;

heads Then came near the heads of the fathers of the

Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun,
and

unto the {heads} of the fathers of the tribes of the children of

Israel;

heads Then the children of Reuben and the children of

Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh answered, and said unto the

{heads} of the thousands of Israel,

heads And when Phinehas the priest, and the princes
of

the congregation and {heads} of the thousands of Israel which
[were]

with him, heard the words that the children of Reuben and the

children of Gad and the children of Manasseh spake, it pl

eased them.

heads And Joshua called for all Israel, [and] for
their

elders, and for their {heads}, and for their judges, and for
their

officers, and said unto them, I am old [and] stricken in age:

heads And Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to

Shechem, and called for the elders of Israel, and for their
{heads},

and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented

themselves before God.

heads And they took two princes of the Midianites,
Oreb

slew

at the winepress of Zeeb, and pursued Midian, and brought the

{heads} of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon on the other side Jorda

n.

heads Thus was Midian subdued before the children of

Israel, so that they lifted up their {heads} no more. And the

country was in quietness forty years in the days of Gideon.

heads And all the evil of the men of Shechem did God

render upon their {heads}: and upon them came the curse of Jotham

the son of Jerubbaal.

heads <1SA29 -4> And the princes of the Philistines were wroth
with

him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this

fellow return, that he may go again to his place which thou hast

appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle,

lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for wherewith
should

he reconcile himself unto his master? [should it] not [be] with
the

{heads} of these men?

heads <1KI8 -1> Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and
all

the {heads} of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the
children

of Israel, unto king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring
up

the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the cit

y of David, which [is] Zion.

heads <1KI20 -31> And his servants said unto him, Behold now, we

have heard that the kings of the house of Israel [are] merciful

kings: let us, I pray thee, put sackcloth on our loins, and ropes

upon our {heads}, and go out to the king of Israel: peradven

ture he will save thy life.

heads <1KI20 -32> So they girded sackcloth on their loins, and
[put]

ropes on their {heads}, and came to the king of Israel, and said,

Thy servant Benhadad saith, I pray thee, let me live. And he
said,

[Is] he yet alive? he [is] my brother.

heads <2KI10 -6> Then he wrote a letter the second time to them,

saying, If ye [be] mine, and [if] ye will hearken unto my voice,

take ye the {heads} of the men your master's sons, and come to
me to

Jezreel by to morrow this time. Now the king's sons, [be

ing] seventy persons, [were] with the great men of the city,
which

brought them up.

heads <2KI10 -7> And it came to pass, when the letter came to
them,

that they took the king's sons, and slew seventy persons, and put

their {heads} in baskets, and sent him [them] to Jezreel.

heads <2KI10 -8> And there came a messenger, and told him,
saying,

They have brought the {heads} of the king's sons. And he said,
Lay

ye them in two heaps at the entering in of the gate until the

morning.

heads <1CH5 -24> And these [were] the heads of the house of their

fathers, even Epher, and Ishi, and Eliel, and Azriel, and
Jeremiah,

and Hodaviah, and Jahdiel, mighty men of valour, famous men,
[and]

{heads} of the house of their fathers.

heads <1CH5 -24> And these [were] the {heads} of the house of
their

fathers, even Epher, and Ishi, and Eliel, and Azriel, and
Jeremiah,

and Hodaviah, and Jahdiel, mighty men of valour, famous men,
[and]

heads of the house of their fathers.

heads <1CH7 -2> And the sons of Tola; Uzzi, and Rephaiah, and

Jeriel, and Jahmai, and Jibsam, and Shemuel, {heads} of their

father's house, [to wit], of Tola: [they were] valiant men of
might

in their generations; whose number [was] in the days of David t

wo and twenty thousand and six hundred.

heads <1CH7 -7> And the sons of Bela; Ezbon, and Uzzi, and
Uzziel,

and Jerimoth, and Iri, five; {heads} of the house of [their]

fathers, mighty men of valour; and were reckoned by their

genealogies twenty and two thousand and thirty and four.

heads <1CH7 -9> And the number of them, after their genealogy by

their generations, {heads} of the house of their fathers, mighty
men

of valour, [was] twenty thousand and two hundred.

heads <1CH7 -11> All these the sons of Jediael, by the {heads} of

their fathers, mighty men of valour, [were] seventeen thousand
and

two hundred [soldiers], fit to go out for war [and] battle.

heads <1CH7 -40> All these [were] the children of Asher, {heads}
of

[their] father's house, choice [and] mighty men of valour, chief
of

the princes. And the number throughout the genealogy of them that

were apt to the war [and] to battle [was] twenty and

six thousand men.

heads <1CH8 -6> And these [are] the sons of Ehud: these are the

{heads} of the fathers of the inhabitants of Geba, and they
removed

them to Manahath:

heads <1CH8 -10> And Jeuz, and Shachia, and Mirma. These [were]
his

sons, {heads} of the fathers.

heads <1CH8 -13> Beriah also, and Shema, who [were] {heads} of
the

fathers of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who drove away the

inhabitants of Gath:

heads <1CH8 -28> These [were] {heads} of the fathers, by their

generations, chief [men]. These dwelt in Jerusalem.

heads <1CH9 -13> And their brethren, {heads} of the house of
their

fathers, a thousand and seven hundred and threescore; very able
men

for the work of the service of the house of God.

heads <1CH12 -19> And there fell [some] of Manasseh to David,
when

he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle: but they
helped

them not: for the lords of the Philistines upon advisement sent
him

away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul to [t

he jeopardy of] our {heads}.

heads <1CH12 -32> And of the children of Issachar, [which were
men]

that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to

do; the {heads} of them [were] two hundred; and all their
brethren

[were] at their commandment.

heads <1CH29 -20> And David said to all the congregation, Now
bless

the LORD your God. And all the congregation blessed the LORD God
of

their fathers, and bowed down their {heads}, and worshipped the

LORD, and the king.

heads <2CH3 -16> And he made chains, [as] in the oracle, and put

[them] on the {heads} of the pillars; and made an hundred

pomegranates, and put [them] on the chains.

heads <2CH5 -2> Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and
all

the {heads} of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the
children

of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of

the LORD out of the city of David, which [is] Zion.

heads <2CH28 -12> Then certain of the {heads} of the children of

Ephraim, Azariah the son of Johanan, Berechiah the son of

Meshillemoth, and Jehizkiah the son of Shallum, and Amasa the
son of

Hadlai, stood up against them that came from the war,

heads <2CH29 -30> Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes

commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the LORD with the
words of

David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with
gladness,

and they bowed their {heads} and worshipped.

heads And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God. And all

the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and

they bowed their {heads}, and worshipped the LORD with [their]
faces

to the ground.

heads And when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and

knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent

every one his mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their {heads}
toward

heaven.

heads Lift up your {heads}, O ye gates; and be ye lift

up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

heads Lift up your {heads}, O ye gates; even lift
[them]

up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

heads Thou hast caused men to ride over our {heads};
we

went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out
into

a wealthy [place].

heads Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou

brakest the {heads} of the dragons in the waters.

heads Thou brakest the {heads} of leviathan in
pieces,

[and] gavest him [to be] meat to the people inhabiting the

wilderness.

heads I became also a reproach unto them: [when]
they

looked upon me they shaked their {heads}.

heads He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill

[the places] with the dead bodies; he shall wound the {heads}
over

many countries.

heads He is gone up to Bajith, and to Dibon, the high

places, to weep: Moab shall howl over Nebo, and over Medeba: on
all

their {heads} [shall be] baldness, [and] every beard cut off.

heads And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and

come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their {heads}:
they

shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee

away.

heads And their nobles have sent their little ones to
the

waters: they came to the pits, [and] found no water; they
returned

with their vessels empty; they were ashamed and confounded, and

covered their {heads}.

heads Because the ground is chapt, for there was no
rain

in the earth, the plowmen were ashamed, they covered their
{heads}.

heads The elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the

ground, [and] keep silence: they have cast up dust upon their

{heads}; they have girded themselves with sackcloth: the virgins
of

Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground.

heads The elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the

ground, [and] keep silence: they have cast up dust upon their
heads;

they have girded themselves with sackcloth: the virgins of
Jerusalem

hang down their {heads} to the ground.

heads And the likeness of the firmament upon the
{heads}

of the living creature [was] as the colour of the terrible
crystal,

stretched forth over their heads above.

heads And the likeness of the firmament upon the
heads of

the living creature [was] as the colour of the terrible crystal,

stretched forth over their {heads} above.

heads And there was a voice from the firmament that
[was]

over their {heads}, when they stood, [and] had let down their
wings.

heads And above the firmament that [was] over their

{heads} [was] the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a

sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne [was] the

likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.

heads They shall also gird [themselves] with
sackcloth,

and horror shall cover them; and shame [shall be] upon all faces,

and baldness upon all their {heads}.

heads But [as for them] whose heart walketh after the

heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will

recompense their way upon their own {heads}, saith the Lord GOD.

heads Therefore have I poured out mine indignation
upon

them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own
way

have I recompensed upon their {heads}, saith the Lord GOD.

heads Girded with girdles upon their loins,
exceeding in

dyed attire upon their {heads}, all of them princes to look to,

after the manner of the Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their

nativity:

heads And a voice of a multitude being at ease [was]

with her: and with the men of the common sort [were] brought
Sabeans

from the wilderness, which put bracelets upon their hands, and

beautiful crowns upon their {heads}.

heads And your tires [shall be] upon your {heads},
and

your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye
shall

pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another.

heads And shall cause their voice to be heard against

thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their

{heads}, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:

heads And they shall not lie with the mighty [that
are]

fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell with
their

weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their
{heads},

but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, th

ough [they were] the terror of the mighty in the land of the
living.

heads They shall have linen bonnets upon their
{heads},

and shall have linen breeches upon their loins; they shall not
gird

[themselves] with any thing that causeth sweat.

heads Neither shall they shave their heads, nor
suffer

their locks to grow long; they shall only poll their {heads}.

heads Neither shall they shave their {heads}, nor
suffer

their locks to grow long; they shall only poll their heads.

heads After this I beheld, and lo another, like a
leopard,

which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had

also four {heads}; and dominion was given to it.

heads And I said, Hear, I pray you, O {heads} of Jacob,

and ye princes of the house of Israel; [Is it] not for you to
know

judgment?

heads Hear this, I pray you, ye {heads} of the house of

Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment,
and

pervert all equity.

heads The {heads} thereof judge for reward, and the

priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine
for

money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, [Is] not the
LORD

among us? none evil can come upon us.

heads And they that passed by reviled him, wagging
their

{heads},

heads And they that passed by railed on him, wagging

their {heads}, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple,
and

buildest it] in three days,

heads And when these things begin to come to pass,
then

look up, and lift up your {heads}; for your redemption draweth
nigh.

heads And when they opposed themselves, and
blasphemed,

he shook his] raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be] upon
your

own {heads}; I am] clean: from henceforth I will go unto the

Gentiles.

heads Them take, and purify thyself with them, and
be at

charges with them, that they may shave their] {heads}: and all
may

know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning
thee,

are nothing; but that] thou thyself also walkest or

derly, and keepest the law.

heads And round about the throne were] four and twenty

seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting,

clothed in white raiment; and they had on their {heads} crowns of

gold.

heads And the shapes of the locusts were] like unto
horses

prepared unto battle; and on their {heads} were] as it were
crowns

like gold, and their faces were] as the faces of men.

heads And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and
them

that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth,
and

brimstone: and the {heads} of the horses were] as the heads of

lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and b

rimstone.

heads And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and
them

that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth,
and

brimstone: and the heads of the horses were] as the {heads} of

lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and b

rimstone.

heads For their power is in their mouth, and in their

tails: for their tails were] like unto serpents, and had {heads},

and with them they do hurt.

heads And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and

behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and

seven crowns upon his {heads}.

heads And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and

behold a great red dragon, having seven {heads} and ten horns,
and

seven crowns upon his heads.

heads And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a

beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns,
and

upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his {heads} the name of

blasphemy.

heads And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a

beast rise up out of the sea, having seven {heads} and ten horns,

and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of

blasphemy.

heads And I saw one of his {heads} as it were wounded
to

death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world
wondered

after the beast.

heads So he carried me away in the spirit into the

wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast,

full of names of blasphemy, having seven {heads} and ten horns.

heads And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou

marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the
beast

that carrieth her, which hath the seven {heads} and ten horns.

heads And here is] the mind which hath wisdom. The
seven

{heads} are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

heads And they cast dust on their {heads}, and cried,

weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein

were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her

costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
