see

Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king's {gate}.

gate Then the king said to Haman, Make haste, [and]
take

the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said, and do even so to

Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king's {gate}: let nothing

fail of all that thou hast spoken.

gate And Mordecai came again to the king's {gate}. But

Haman hasted to his house mourning, and having his head covered.

gate His children are far from safety, and they are

crushed in the {gate}, neither [is there] any to deliver [them].

gate When I went out to the {gate} through the city,

[when] I prepared my seat in the street!

gate If I have lifted up my hand against the
fatherless,

when I saw my help in the {gate}:

gate They that sit in the {gate} speak against me;
and I

[was] the song of the drunkards.

gate This {gate} of the LORD, into which the
righteous

shall enter.

gate Happy [is] the man that hath his quiver full of

them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the

enemies in the {gate}.

gate He loveth transgression that loveth strife:
[and]

he that exalteth his {gate} seeketh destruction.

gate Rob not the poor, because he [is] poor: neither

oppress the afflicted in the {gate}:

gate Wisdom [is] too high for a fool: he openeth not
his

mouth in the {gate}.

gate Thy neck [is] as a tower of ivory; thine eyes
[like]

the fishpools in Heshbon, by the {gate} of Bathrabbim: thy nose
[is]

as the tower of Lebanon which looketh toward Damascus.

gate Howl, O {gate}; cry, O city; thou, whole
Palestina,

[art] dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and

none [shall be] alone in his appointed times.

gate And it shall come to pass, [that] thy choicest

valleys shall be full of chariots, and the horsemen shall set

themselves in array at the {gate}.

gate In the city is left desolation, and the {gate}
is

smitten with destruction.

gate And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth
in

judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the

{gate}.

gate That make a man an offender for a word, and lay
a

snare for him that reproveth in the {gate}, and turn aside the
just

for a thing of nought.

gate Stand in the {gate} of the LORD's house, and
proclaim

there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all [ye of]

Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.

gate Thus said the LORD unto me; Go and stand in the

{gate} of the children of the people, whereby the kings of Judah

come in, and by the which they go out, and in all the gates of

Jerusalem;

gate And go forth unto the valley of the son of
Hinnom,

which [is] by the entry of the east {gate}, and proclaim there
the

words that I shall tell thee,

gate Then Pashur smote Jeremiah the prophet, and put
him

in the stocks that [were] in the high {gate} of Benjamin, which

[was] by the house of the LORD.

gate When the princes of Judah heard these things,
then

they came up from the king's house unto the house of the LORD,
and

sat down in the entry of the new {gate} of the LORD'S [house].

gate Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the

city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto
the

{gate} of the corner.

gate And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of
the

ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the
corner

of the horse {gate} toward the east, [shall be] holy unto the
LORD;

it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any mo

re for ever.

gate Then read Baruch in the book the words of
Jeremiah

in the house of the LORD, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of

Shaphan the scribe, in the higher court, at the entry of the new

{gate} of the LORD'S house, in the ears of all the people.

gate And when he was in the {gate} of Benjamin, a

captain of the ward [was] there, whose name [was] Irijah, the
son of

Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he took Jeremiah the prophet,

saying, Thou fallest away to the Chaldeans.

gate Now when Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, one of the

eunuchs which was in the king's house, heard that they had put

Jeremiah in the dungeon; the king then sitting in the {gate} of

Benjamin;

gate And all the princes of the king of Babylon came
in,

and sat in the middle {gate}, [even] Nergalsharezer, Samgarnebo,

Sarsechim, Rabsaris, Nergalsharezer, Rabmag, with all the
residue of

the princes of the king of Babylon.

gate And it came to pass, [that] when Zedekiah the
king

of Judah saw them, and all the men of war, then they fled, and
went

forth out of the city by night, by the way of the king's garden,
by

the {gate} betwixt the two walls: and he went out th

e way of the plain.

gate Then the city was broken up, and all the men of
war

fled, and went forth out of the city by night by the way of the

{gate} between the two walls, which [was] by the king's garden;
(now

the Chaldeans [were] by the city round about:) and the

y went by the way of the plain.

gate The elders have ceased from the {gate}, the young

men from their music.

gate And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me
by

a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the
earth

and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to
Jerusalem,

to the door of the inner {gate} that looketh toward t

he north; where [was] the seat of the image of jealousy, which

provoketh to jealousy.

gate Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine
eyes

now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way

toward the north, and behold northward at the {gate} of the altar

this image of jealousy in the entry.

gate Then he brought me to the door of the {gate} of
the

LORD'S house which [was] toward the north; and, behold, there sat

women weeping for Tammuz.

gate And, behold, six men came from the way of the
higher

{gate}, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter

weapon in his hand; and one man among them [was] clothed with
linen,

with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in,

and stood beside the brazen altar.

gate And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and

mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the

wheels also [were] beside them, and [every one] stood at the
door of

the east {gate} of the LORD'S house; and the glory of the God

of Israel [was] over them above.

gate Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me

unto the east {gate} of the LORD'S house, which looketh eastward:

and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among
whom I

saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of

Benaiah, princes of the people.

gate Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me

unto the east gate of the LORD'S house, which looketh eastward:
and

behold at the door of the {gate} five and twenty men; among whom
I

saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of

Benaiah, princes of the people.

gate And he brought me thither, and, behold, [there
was]

a man, whose appearance [was] like the appearance of brass, with
a

line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in
the

{gate}.

gate Then came he unto the {gate} which looketh toward

the east, and went up the stairs thereof, and measured the
threshold

of the gate, [which was] one reed broad; and the other threshold
[of

the gate, which was] one reed broad.

gate Then came he unto the gate which looketh toward
the

east, and went up the stairs thereof, and measured the threshold
of

the gate, [which was] one reed broad; and the other threshold [of

the {gate}, which was] one reed broad.

gate Then came he unto the gate which looketh toward
the

east, and went up the stairs thereof, and measured the threshold
of

the {gate}, [which was] one reed broad; and the other threshold
[of

the gate, which was] one reed broad.

gate And [every] little chamber [was] one reed long,
and

one reed broad; and between the little chambers [were] five
cubits;

and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the {gate} within

[was] one reed.

gate And [every] little chamber [was] one reed long,
and

one reed broad; and between the little chambers [were] five
cubits;

and the threshold of the {gate} by the porch of the gate within

[was] one reed.

gate He measured also the porch of the {gate} within,
one

reed.

gate Then measured he the porch of the {gate}, eight

cubits; and the posts thereof, two cubits; and the porch of the
gate

[was] inward.

gate Then measured he the porch of the gate, eight

cubits; and the posts thereof, two cubits; and the porch of the

{gate} [was] inward.

gate And the little chambers of the {gate} eastward

[were] three on this side, and three on that side; they three
[were]

of one measure: and the posts had one measure on this side and on

that side.

gate And he measured the breadth of the entry of the

gate, ten cubits; [and] the length of the {gate}, thirteen
cubits.

gate And he measured the breadth of the entry of the

{gate}, ten cubits; [and] the length of the gate, thirteen
cubits.

gate He measured then the {gate} from the roof of
[one]

little chamber to the roof of another: the breadth [was] five and

twenty cubits, door against door.

gate He made also posts of threescore cubits, even
unto

the post of the court round about the {gate}.

gate And from the face of the gate of the entrance
unto

the face of the porch of the inner {gate} [were] fifty cubits.

gate And from the face of the {gate} of the entrance

unto the face of the porch of the inner gate [were] fifty cubits.

gate And [there were] narrow windows to the little

chambers, and to their posts within the {gate} round about, and

likewise to the arches: and windows [were] round about inward:
and

upon [each] post [were] palm trees.

gate Then he measured the breadth from the forefront
of

the lower {gate} unto the forefront of the inner court without,
an

hundred cubits eastward and northward.

gate And the {gate} of the outward court that looked

toward the north, he measured the length thereof, and the breadth

thereof.

gate And the little chambers thereof [were] three on

this side and three on that side; and the posts thereof and the

arches thereof were after the measure of the first {gate}: the

length thereof [was] fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twe

nty cubits.

gate And their windows, and their arches, and their
palm

trees, [were] after the measure of the {gate} that looketh toward

the east; and they went up unto it by seven steps; and the arches

thereof [were] before them.

gate And the gate of the inner court [was] over
against

the {gate} toward the north, and toward the east; and he measured

from gate to gate an hundred cubits.

gate And the gate of the inner court [was] over
against

the gate toward the north, and toward the east; and he measured
from

gate to {gate} an hundred cubits.

gate And the {gate} of the inner court [was] over

against the gate toward the north, and toward the east; and he

measured from gate to gate an hundred cubits.

gate And the gate of the inner court [was] over
against

the gate toward the north, and toward the east; and he measured
from

{gate} to gate an hundred cubits.

gate After that he brought me toward the south, and

behold a {gate} toward the south: and he measured the posts
thereof

and the arches thereof according to these measures.

gate And [there was] a gate in the inner court toward

the south: and he measured from {gate} to gate toward the south
an

hundred cubits.

gate And [there was] a gate in the inner court toward

the south: and he measured from gate to {gate} toward the south
an

hundred cubits.

gate And [there was] a {gate} in the inner court
toward

the south: and he measured from gate to gate toward the south an

hundred cubits.

gate And he brought me to the inner court by the
south

gate: and he measured the south {gate} according to these
measures;

gate And he brought me to the inner court by the
south

{gate}: and he measured the south gate according to these
measures;

gate And he brought me into the inner court toward
the

east: and he measured the {gate} according to these measures.

gate And he brought me to the north {gate}, and
measured

[it] according to these measures;

gate And in the porch of the {gate} [were] two
tables on

this side, and two tables on that side, to slay thereon the burnt

offering and the sin offering and the trespass offering.

gate And at the side without, as one goeth up to the

entry of the north {gate}, [were] two tables; and on the other
side,

which [was] at the porch of the gate, [were] two tables.

gate And at the side without, as one goeth up to the

entry of the north gate, [were] two tables; and on the other
side,

which [was] at the porch of the {gate}, [were] two tables.

gate Four tables [were] on this side, and four
tables on

that side, by the side of the {gate}; eight tables, whereupon
they

slew [their sacrifices].

gate And without the inner gate [were] the chambers
of

the singers in the inner court, which [was] at the side of the
north

gate; and their prospect [was] toward the south: one at the side
of

the east {gate} [having] the prospect toward the no

rth.

gate And without the inner {gate} [were] the
chambers of

the singers in the inner court, which [was] at the side of the
north

gate; and their prospect [was] toward the south: one at the side
of

the east gate [having] the prospect toward the no

rth.

gate And without the inner gate [were] the chambers
of

the singers in the inner court, which [was] at the side of the
north

{gate}; and their prospect [was] toward the south: one at the
side

of the east gate [having] the prospect toward the no

rth.

measured [each] post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and

five cubits on that side: and the breadth of the {gate} [was]
three

cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side.

gate Now when he had made an end of measuring the
inner

house, he brought me forth toward the {gate} whose prospect [is]

toward the east, and measured it round about.

gate Afterward he brought me to the {gate}, [even] the

gate that looketh toward the east:

gate Afterward he brought me to the gate, [even] the

{gate} that looketh toward the east:

gate And the glory of the LORD came into the house by
the

way of the {gate} whose prospect [is] toward the east.

gate Then he brought me back the way of the {gate} of
the

outward sanctuary which looketh toward the east; and it [was]
shut.

gate Then said the LORD unto me; This {gate} shall be

shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter in by it;

because the LORD, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it,

therefore it shall be shut.

gate It is] for the prince; the prince, he shall sit
in

it to eat bread before the LORD; he shall enter by the way of the

porch of [that] {gate}, and shall go out by the way of the same.

gate Then brought he me the way of the north {gate}

before the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the
LORD

filled the house of the LORD: and I fell upon my face.

gate And the priest shall take of the blood of the
sin

offering, and put [it] upon the posts of the house, and upon the

four corners of the settle of the altar, and upon the posts of
the

{gate} of the inner court.

gate Thus saith the Lord GOD; The {gate} of the inner

court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working

days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of
the

new moon it shall be opened.

gate And the prince shall enter by the way of the
porch

of [that] gate without, and shall stand by the post of the gate,
and

the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace

offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate

: then he shall go forth; but the {gate} shall not be shut until
the

evening.

gate And the prince shall enter by the way of the
porch

of [that] gate without, and shall stand by the post of the
{gate},

and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace

offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the ga

te: then he shall go forth; but the gate shall not be shut until
the

evening.

gate And the prince shall enter by the way of the
porch

of [that] {gate} without, and shall stand by the post of the
gate,

and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace

te: then he shall go forth; but the gate shall not be shut until
the

evening.

gate And the prince shall enter by the way of the
porch

of [that] gate without, and shall stand by the post of the gate,
and

the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace

e}: then he shall go forth; but the gate shall not be shut until
the

evening.

gate Likewise the people of the land shall worship at
the

door of this {gate} before the LORD in the sabbaths and in the
new

moons.

gate And when the prince shall enter, he shall go in
by

the way of the porch of [that] {gate}, and he shall go forth by
the

way thereof.

gate But when the people of the land shall come before

the LORD in the solemn feasts, he that entereth in by the way of
the

north gate to worship shall go out by the way of the south gate;
and

he that entereth by the way of the south gate shall

go forth by the way of the north gate: he shall not return by
the

way of the {gate} whereby he came in, but shall go forth over

against it.

gate But when the people of the land shall come before

the LORD in the solemn feasts, he that entereth in by the way of
the

north gate to worship shall go out by the way of the south gate;
and

he that entereth by the way of the south {gate} sha

ll go forth by the way of the north gate: he shall not return by
the

way of the gate whereby he came in, but shall go forth over
against

it.

gate But when the people of the land shall come before

the LORD in the solemn feasts, he that entereth in by the way of
the

north {gate} to worship shall go out by the way of the south
gate;

and he that entereth by the way of the south gate sha

the

way of the gate whereby he came in, but shall go forth over
against

it.

gate But when the people of the land shall come before

the LORD in the solemn feasts, he that entereth in by the way of
the

north gate to worship shall go out by the way of the south gate;

against

it.

the LORD in the solemn feasts, he that entereth in by the way of
the

north gate to worship shall go out by the way of the south
{gate};

and he that entereth by the way of the south gate sha

ll go forth by the way of the north gate: he shall not return by
the

way of the gate whereby he came in, but shall go forth over
against

it.

gate Now when the prince shall prepare a voluntary
burnt

offering or peace offerings voluntarily unto the LORD, [one]
shall

then open him the gate that looketh toward the east, and he shall

prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, a

s he did on the sabbath day: then he shall go forth; and after
his

going forth [one] shall shut the {gate}.

gate Now when the prince shall prepare a voluntary
burnt

offering or peace offerings voluntarily unto the LORD, [one]
shall

then open him the {gate} that looketh toward the east, and he
shall

prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings,

as he did on the sabbath day: then he shall go forth; and after
his

going forth [one] shall shut the gate.

gate After he brought me through the entry, which
[was]

at the side of the {gate}, into the holy chambers of the priests,

which looked toward the north: and, behold, there [was] a place
on

the two sides westward.

gate Then brought he me out of the way of the gate

northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter
{gate} by

the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters
on

the right side.

gate Then brought he me out of the way of the {gate}

northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate
by

the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters
on

the right side.

gate And the gates of the city [shall be] after the

names of the tribes of Israel: three gates northward; one gate of

Reuben, one {gate} of Judah, one gate of Levi.

gate And the gates of the city [shall be] after the

names of the tribes of Israel: three gates northward; one {gate}
of

Reuben, one gate of Judah, one gate of Levi.

gate And the gates of the city [shall be] after the

hundred: and three gates; and one gate of Joseph, one {gate} of

Benjamin, one gate of Dan.

hundred: and three gates; and one gate of Joseph, one gate of

Benjamin, one {gate} of Dan.

gate And at the east side four thousand and five

hundred: and three gates; and one {gate} of Joseph, one gate of

Benjamin, one gate of Dan.

gate And at the south side four thousand and five

hundred measures: and three gates; one gate of Simeon, one
{gate} of

Issachar, one gate of Zebulun.

gate And at the south side four thousand and five

hundred measures: and three gates; one gate of Simeon, one gate
of

Issachar, one {gate} of Zebulun.

gate And at the south side four thousand and five

hundred measures: and three gates; one {gate} of Simeon, one
gate of

Issachar, one gate of Zebulun.

gate At the west side four thousand and five hundred,

[with] their three gates; one gate of Gad, one {gate} of Asher,
one

gate of Naphtali.

gate At the west side four thousand and five hundred,

[with] their three gates; one gate of Gad, one gate of Asher, one

{gate} of Naphtali.

gate At the west side four thousand and five hundred,

[with] their three gates; one {gate} of Gad, one gate of Asher,
one

gate of Naphtali.

gate Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, over the affairs of the
province of

Babylon: but Daniel [sat] in the {gate} of the king.

gate They hate him that rebuketh in the {gate}, and
they

abhor him that speaketh uprightly.

gate For I know your manifold transgressions, and your

mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they
turn

aside the poor in the {gate} [from their right].

gate Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish

judgment in the {gate}: it may be that the LORD God of hosts
will be

gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

gate Thou shouldest not have entered into the {gate}
of

my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not
have

looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have

laid [hands] on their substance in the day of their c

alamity;

gate For her wound [is] incurable; for it is come unto

Judah; he is come unto the {gate} of my people, [even] to
Jerusalem.

gate For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for

good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the {gate} of
Jerusalem.

gate The breaker is come up before them: they have
broken

up, and have passed through the {gate}, and are gone out by it:
and

their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of
them.

gate And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the

LORD, [that there shall be] the noise of a cry from the fish
{gate},

and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the
hills.

gate All the land shall be turned as a plain from
Geba

to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and

inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of
the

first {gate}, unto the corner gate, and [from] the tower of

Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.

gate All the land shall be turned as a plain from

Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.

gate All the land shall be turned as a plain from
Geba

to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and

inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's {gate} unto the place of
the

first gate, unto the corner gate, and [from] the tower of

Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.

gate Enter ye in at the strait {gate}: for wide [is]
the

gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and
many

there be which go in thereat:

gate Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the

{gate}, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and

many there be which go in thereat:

gate Because strait [is] the {gate}, and narrow [is]
the

way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

gate Now when he came nigh to the {gate} of the city,

behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his

at

the Beautiful {gate} of the temple: and they were filled with
wonder

and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

gate Now while Peter doubted in himself what this
vision

which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent
from

Cornelius had made inquiry for Simon's house, and stood before
the

{gate},

gate When they were past the first and the second
ward,

they came unto the iron {gate} that leadeth unto the city; which

opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed
on

through one street; and forthwith the angel departed fr

om him.

gate And as Peter knocked at the door of the {gate},
a

the

{gate} for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before
the

gate.

people with his own blood, suffered without the {gate}.

gate And the twelve gates were] twelve pearls: every

several {gate} was of one pearl: and the street of the city was]

pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
