gain The kings came [and] fought, then fought the
kings

of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no
{gain}

of money.

gain Is it] any pleasure to the Almighty, that thou
art

righteous? or [is it] {gain} [to him], that thou makest thy ways

perfect?

gain So [are] the ways of every one that is greedy of

{gain}; [which] taketh away the life of the owners thereof.

gain For the merchandise of it [is] better than the

merchandise of silver, and the {gain} thereof than fine gold.

gain He that is greedy of {gain} troubleth his own

house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.

gain He that by usury and unjust {gain} increaseth his

substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.

gain He that walketh righteously, and speaketh

uprightly; he that despiseth the {gain} of oppressions, that
shaketh

his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from

hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;

gain Yea, [they are] greedy dogs [which] can never
have

enough, and they [are] shepherds [that] cannot understand: they
all

look to their own way, every one for his {gain}, from his
quarter.

gain Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at
thy

dishonest {gain} which thou hast made, and at thy blood which
hath

been in the midst of thee.

gain Her princes in the midst thereof [are] like
wolves

ravening the prey, to shed blood, [and] to destroy souls, to get

dishonest {gain}.

gain The king answered and said, I know of certainty
that

ye would {gain} the time, because ye see the thing is gone from
me.

gain Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a

strange god, whom he shall acknowledge [and] increase with glory:

and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the
land

for {gain}.

gain Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will

make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou

shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their

unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the w

hole earth.

gain For what is a man profited, if he shall {gain}
the

whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in

exchange for his soul?

gain For what shall it profit a man, if he shall
{gain}

the whole world, and lose his own soul?

gain For what is a man advantaged, if he {gain} the
whole

world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

gain And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a

certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us,
which

gain For a certain man] named Demetrius, a
silversmith,

which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small {gain} unto

the craftsmen;

gain <1CO9 -19> For though I be free from all men], yet have I
made

myself servant unto all, that I might {gain} the more.

gain <1CO9 -20> And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might

gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law,

that I might {gain} them that are under the law;

gain <1CO9 -20> And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might

{gain} the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the
law,

that I might gain them that are under the law;

gain <1CO9 -21> To them that are without law, as without law,
being

not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I
might

{gain} them that are without law.

gain <1CO9 -22> To the weak became I as weak, that I might {gain}

the weak: I am made all things to all men], that I might by all

means save some.

gain <2CO12 -17> Did I make a {gain} of you by any of them whom I

sent unto you?

gain <2CO12 -18> I desired Titus, and with him] I sent a brother.

Did Titus make a {gain} of you? walked we not in the same spirit?

walked we] not in the same steps?

gain For to me to live is] Christ, and to die is]
{gain}.

gain But what things were {gain} to me, those I counted

gain <1TI6 -5> Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and

destitute of the truth, supposing that {gain} is godliness: from

such withdraw thyself.

gain <1TI6 -6> But godliness with contentment is great {gain}.

gain Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we
