according to those that were numbered of them, forty thousand and

came

and spake unto Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and unto the

gad And Moses said unto the children of {Gad} and to
the

children of Reuben, Shall your brethren go to war, and shall ye
sit

here?

gad And the children of {Gad} and the children of
Reuben

spake unto Moses, saying, Thy servants will do as my lord

commandeth.

gad And Moses said unto them, If the children of
{Gad}

and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every
man

armed to battle, before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued

before you; then ye shall give them the land of Gilead

for a possession:

gad And the children of {Gad} and the children of
Reuben

answered, saying, As the LORD hath said unto thy servants, so
will

we do.

gad And Moses gave unto them, [even] to the children
of

{Gad}, and to the children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of

gad And Moses gave [inheritance] unto the tribe of

{Gad}, [even] unto the children of Gad according to their
families.

gad This [is] the inheritance of the children of
{Gad}

after their families, the cities, and their villages.

gad But the Levites have no part among you; for the

priesthood of the LORD [is] their inheritance: and {Gad}, and

Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh, have received their

inheritance beyond Jordan on the east, which Moses the servant of

the

LORD gave them.

gad And on the other side Jordan by Jericho eastward,

they assigned Bezer in the wilderness upon the plain out of the

tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in Gilead out of the tribe of {Gad},
and

Golan in Bashan out of the tribe of Manasseh.

gad The children of Merari by their families [had]

and the half tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the

the

LORD by the hand of Moses.

gad And when they came unto the borders of Jordan,
that

[are] in the land of Canaan, the children of Reuben and the

Jordan, a great altar to see to.

gad And the children of Israel heard say, Behold, the

the children of {Gad}, and to the half tribe of Manasseh, unto
the

land of Gilead, and they spake with them, saying,

gad Then the children of Reuben and the children of

{Gad} and the half tribe of Manasseh answered, and said unto the

heads of the thousands of Israel,

gad For the LORD hath made Jordan a border between us

and you, ye children of Reuben and children of {Gad}; ye have no

part in the LORD: so shall your children make our children cease

from fearing the LORD.

gad And when Phinehas the priest, and the princes of
the

congregation and heads of the thousands of Israel which [were]
with

him, heard the words that the children of Reuben and the
children of

{Gad} and the children of Manasseh spake, it plea

gad And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said
unto

the children of Reuben, and to the children of {Gad}, and to the

the

hand of the LORD.

gad And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, and
the

princes, returned from the children of Reuben, and from the
children

of {Gad}, out of the land of Gilead, unto the land of Canaan, to
the

children of Israel, and brought them word again.

gad And the thing pleased the children of Israel; and

the children of Israel blessed God, and did not intend to go up

against them in battle, to destroy the land wherein the children
of

Reuben and {Gad} dwelt.

gad And the children of Reuben and the children of
{Gad}

called the altar [Ed]: for it [shall be] a witness between us
that

the LORD [is] God.

on

the right side of the city that [lieth] in the midst of the
river of

{Gad}, and toward Jazer:

gad <2SA24 -11> For when David was up in the morning, the word of

the LORD came unto the prophet {Gad}, David's seer, saying,

gad <2SA24 -13> So {Gad} came to David, and told him, and said
unto

him, Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land? or
wilt

thou flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue
thee?

or that there be three days' pestilence in thy la

nd? now advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that
sent

me.

gad <2SA24 -14> And David said unto {Gad}, I am in a great
strait:

let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies [are]

great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.

gad <2SA24 -18> And {Gad} came that day to David, and said unto
him,

Go up, rear an altar unto the LORD in the threshingfloor of
Araunah

the Jebusite.

gad <2SA24 -19> And David, according to the saying of {Gad},
went up

as the LORD commanded.

gad <1CH2 -2> Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, {Gad}, and
Asher.

gad <1CH5 -11> And the children of {Gad} dwelt over against them,
in

the land of Bashan unto Salcah:

gad <1CH6 -63> Unto the sons of Merari [were given] by lot,

throughout their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of

the tribe of {Gad}, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve
cities.

gad <1CH6 -80> And out of the tribe of {Gad}; Ramoth in Gilead
with

her suburbs, and Mahanaim with her suburbs,

gad <1CH12 -14> These [were] of the sons of {Gad}, captains of
the

host: one of the least [was] over an hundred, and the greatest
over

a thousand.

gad <1CH21 -9> And the LORD spake unto {Gad}, David's seer,
saying,

gad <1CH21 -11> So {Gad} came to David, and said unto him, Thus

saith the LORD, Choose thee

gad <1CH21 -13> And David said unto {Gad}, I am in a great
strait:

let me fall now into the hand of the LORD; for very great [are]
his

mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man.

gad <1CH21 -18> Then the angel of the LORD commanded {Gad} to
say to

David, that David should go up, and set up an altar unto the
LORD in

the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

gad <1CH21 -19> And David went up at the saying of {Gad}, which
he

spake in the name of the LORD.

gad <1CH29 -29> Now the acts of David the king, first and last,

behold, they [are] written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in

the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of {Gad} the
seer,

gad <2CH29 -25> And he set the Levites in the house of the LORD
with

cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps, according to the

commandment of David, and of {Gad} the king's seer, and Nathan
the

prophet: for [so was] the commandment of the LORD by his pro

phets.

gad Concerning the Ammonites, thus saith the LORD;
Hath

Israel no sons? hath he no heir? why [then] doth their king
inherit

{Gad}, and his people dwell in his cities?

gad And by the border of Zebulun, from the east side

unto the west side, {Gad} a [portion].

gad And by the border of {Gad}, at the south side

southward, the border shall be even from Tamar [unto] the waters
of

strife [in] Kadesh, [and] to the river toward the great sea.

gad At the west side four thousand and five hundred,

[with] their three gates; one gate of {Gad}, one gate of Asher,
one

gate of Naphtali.

gad Of the tribe of Juda were] sealed twelve thousand.
Of

the tribe of Reuben were] sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of

{Gad} were] sealed twelve thousand.
