face And the earth was without form, and void; and

darkness [was] upon the {face} of the deep. And the Spirit of God

moved upon the face of the waters.

face And the earth was without form, and void; and

darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God

moved upon the {face} of the waters.

face And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb

bearing seed, which [is] upon the {face} of all the earth, and
every

tree, in the which [is] the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to
you it

shall be for meat.

face But there went up a mist from the earth, and
watered

the whole {face} of the ground.

face In the sweat of thy {face} shalt thou eat bread,

till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken:
for

dust thou [art], and unto dust shalt thou return.

face Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the

{face} of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I
shall

be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to

pass, [that] every one that findeth me shall slay me.

face Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the

face of the earth; and from thy {face} shall I be hid; and I
shall

be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to

pass, [that] every one that findeth me shall slay me.

face And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on

the {face} of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

face And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have

created from the {face} of the earth; both man, and beast, and
the

creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me
that I

have made them.

face Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and
the

female; to keep seed alive upon the {face} of all the earth.

face For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain
upon

the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance

that I have made will I destroy from off the {face} of the earth.

face And the waters prevailed, and were increased
greatly

upon the earth; and the ark went upon the {face} of the waters.

face And every living substance was destroyed which
was

upon the {face} of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the

creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were
destroyed

from the earth: and Noah only remained [alive], and they t

hat [were] with him in the ark.

face Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the

waters were abated from off the {face} of the ground;

face But the dove found no rest for the sole of her
foot,

and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters [were] on
the

{face} of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took
her,

and pulled her in unto him into the ark.

face And it came to pass in the six hundredth and
first

year, in the first [month], the first [day] of the month, the
waters

were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering
of

the ark, and looked, and, behold, the {face} of the

ground was dry.

face And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and
a

tower, whose top [may reach] unto heaven; and let us make us a
name,

lest we be scattered abroad upon the {face} of the whole earth.

face So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence
upon

the {face} of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

face Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because

the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and
from

thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the {face} of all
the

earth.

face But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid [is]
in

thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt
hardly

with her, she fled from her {face}.

face And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest

thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the
{face}

of my mistress Sarai.

face And Abram fell on his {face}: and God talked with

him, saying,

face Then Abraham fell upon his {face}, and laughed,
and

said in his heart, Shall [a child] be born unto him that is an

hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old,
bear?

face And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and
Lot

sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing [them] rose up to meet

them; and he bowed himself with his {face} toward the ground;

face For we will destroy this place, because the cry
of

them is waxen great before the {face} of the LORD; and the LORD
hath

sent us to destroy it.

face And I asked her, and said, Whose daughter [art]

thou? And she said, The daughter of Bethuel, Nahor's son, whom

Milcah bare unto him: and I put the earring upon her {face}, and
the

bracelets upon her hands.

face So shall my righteousness answer for me in time
to

come, when it shall come for my hire before thy {face}: every one

that [is] not speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown
among

the sheep, that shall be counted stolen with me.

face So he fled with all that he had; and he rose up,

and passed over the river, and set his {face} [toward] the mount

Gilead.

face And say ye moreover, Behold, thy servant Jacob
[is]

behind us. For he said, I will appease him with the present that

goeth before me, and afterward I will see his {face};
peradventure

he will accept of me.

face And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel:
for

I have seen God {face} to face, and my life is preserved.

face And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel:
for

I have seen God face to {face}, and my life is preserved.

face And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have

found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for

therefore I have seen thy {face}, as though I had seen the face
of

God, and thou wast pleased with me.

face And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have

found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for

therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the {face}
of

God, and thou wast pleased with me.

face And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel,
and

dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto

thee when thou fleddest from the {face} of Esau thy brother.

face And he built there an altar, and called the place

Elbethel: because there God appeared unto him, when he fled from
the

{face} of his brother.

face And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his

daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and
all

his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land
of

Canaan; and went into the country from the {face} of his

brother Jacob.

face When Judah saw her, he thought her [to be] an

harlot; because she had covered her {face}.

face And the famine was over all the {face} of the

earth: And Joseph opened all the storehouses, and sold unto the

Egyptians; and the famine waxed sore in the land of Egypt.

face And Judah spake unto him, saying, The man did

solemnly protest unto us, saying, Ye shall not see my {face},
except

your brother [be] with you.

face But if thou wilt not send [him], we will not go

down: for the man said unto us, Ye shall not see my {face},
except

your brother [be] with you.

face And he washed his {face}, and went out, and

refrained himself, and said, Set on bread.

face And thou saidst unto thy servants, Except your

youngest brother come down with you, ye shall see my {face} no
more.

face And we said, We cannot go down: if our youngest

brother be with us, then will we go down: for we may not see the

man's {face}, except our youngest brother [be] with us.

face And he sent Judah before him unto Joseph, to
direct

his {face} unto Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.

face And Israel said unto Joseph, Now let me die,
since

I have seen thy {face}, because thou [art] yet alive.

face And Israel said unto Joseph, I had not thought
to

see thy {face}: and, lo, God hath showed me also thy seed.

face And Joseph brought them out from between his
knees,

and he bowed himself with his {face} to the earth.

face And Joseph fell upon his father's {face}, and
wept

upon him, and kissed him.

face And his brethren also went and fell down before
his

{face}; and they said, Behold, we [be] thy servants.

face Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to
slay

Moses. But Moses fled from the {face} of Pharaoh, and dwelt in
the

land of Midian: and he sat down by a well.

face Moreover he said, I [am] the God of thy father,
the

God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses

hid his {face}; for he was afraid to look upon God.

face And they shall cover the {face} of the earth,
that

one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the
residue

of that which is escaped, which remaineth unto you from the hail,

and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out of

the field:

face For they covered the {face} of the whole earth,
so

that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the
land,

and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there

remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the

herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt.

face And Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me,
take

heed to thyself, see my {face} no more; for in [that] day thou
seest

my face thou shalt die.

face And Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me,
take

heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in [that] day thou
seest

my {face} thou shalt die.

face And Moses said, Thou hast spoken well, I will
see

thy {face} again no more.

face And the angel of God, which went before the
camp of

Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud

went from before their {face}, and stood behind them:

face And took off their chariot wheels, that they
drave

them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the

{face} of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the

Egyptians.

face And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold,
upon

the {face} of the wilderness [there lay] a small round thing,
[as]

small as the hoar frost on the ground.

face Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say,
For

mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains,
and

to consume them from the {face} of the earth? Turn from thy
fierce

wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.

face And the LORD spake unto Moses {face} to face,
as a

man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp:
but

his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not
out of

the tabernacle.

face And the LORD spake unto Moses face to {face},
as a

man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp:
but

his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not
out of

the tabernacle.

face For wherein shall it be known here that I and
thy

people have found grace in thy sight? [is it] not in that thou
goest

with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the

people that [are] upon the {face} of the earth.

face And he said, Thou canst not see my {face}: for

there shall no man see me, and live.

face And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt
see

my back parts: but my {face} shall not be seen.

face And it came to pass, when Moses came down from

mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand,
when he

came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of
his

{face} shone while he talked with him.

face And when Aaron and all the children of Israel
saw

Moses, behold, the skin of his {face} shone; and they were
afraid to

come nigh him.

face And [till] Moses had done speaking with them, he

put a veil on his {face}.

face And the children of Israel saw the {face} of
Moses,

that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the veil upon
his

face again, until he went in to speak with him.

face And the children of Israel saw the face of
Moses,

that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the veil upon
his

{face} again, until he went in to speak with him.

face And the children of Israel saw the face of
Moses,

that the skin of Moses' {face} shone: and Moses put the veil upon

his face again, until he went in to speak with him.

face And he that hath his hair fallen off from the
part

of his head toward his {face}, he [is] forehead bald: [yet is] he

clean.

face And whatsoever man [there be] of the house of

Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth
any

manner of blood; I will even set my {face} against that soul that

eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

face Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and

honour the {face} of the old man, and fear thy God: I [am] the
LORD.

face And I will set my {face} against that man, and
will

cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his
seed

unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.

face Then I will set my {face} against that man, and

against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a
whoring

after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their
people.

face And the soul that turneth after such as have

familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them,
I

will even set my {face} against that soul, and will cut him off
from

among his people.

face And I will set my {face} against you, and ye
shall

be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over

you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.

face The LORD make his {face} shine upon thee, and be

gracious unto thee:

face And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and

brought quails from the sea, and let [them] fall by the camp, as
it

were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's
journey on

the other side, round about the camp, and as it were t

wo cubits [high] upon the {face} of the earth.

face Now the man Moses [was] very meek, above all the
men

which [were] upon the {face} of the earth.)

face And the LORD said unto Moses, If her father had
but

spit in her {face}, should she not be ashamed seven days? let
her be

shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be

received in [again].

face And they will tell [it] to the inhabitants of
this

land: [for] they have heard that thou LORD [art] among this
people,

that thou LORD art seen {face} to face, and [that] thy cloud

standeth over them, and [that] thou goest before them, by

day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by
night.

face And they will tell [it] to the inhabitants of
this

land: [for] they have heard that thou LORD [art] among this
people,

that thou LORD art seen face to {face}, and [that] thy cloud

standeth over them, and [that] thou goest before them, by

day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by
night.

face And when Moses heard [it], he fell upon his
{face}:

face And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest,
that

he may bring her forth without the camp, and [one] shall slay her

before his {face}:

face He sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son
of

Beor to Pethor, which [is] by the river of the land of the
children

of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people
come

out from Egypt: behold, they cover the {face} of the

earth, and they abide over against me:

face Behold, [there is] a people come out of Egypt,

which covereth the {face} of the earth: come now, curse me them;

peradventure I shall be able to overcome them, and drive them
out.

face Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he
saw

the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in

his hand: and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his
{face}.

face And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to

bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for

enchantments, but he set his {face} toward the wilderness.

face Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; [but]
ye

shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be
afraid of

the {face} of man; for the judgment [is] God's: and the cause
that

is too hard for you, bring [it] unto me, and I will

hear it.

face The LORD talked with you {face} to face in the
mount

out of the midst of the fire,

face The LORD talked with you face to {face} in the
mount

out of the midst of the fire,

face For the LORD thy God [is] a jealous God among
you)

lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and

destroy thee from off the {face} of the earth.

face For thou [art] an holy people unto the LORD thy
God:

the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto

himself, above all people that [are] upon the {face} of the
earth.

face And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to

destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he
will

repay him to his {face}.

face And repayeth them that hate him to their {face},
to

destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he
will

repay him to his face.

face As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before
your

{face}, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto

the voice of the LORD your God.

face Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy
God

[is] he which goeth over before thee; [as] a consuming fire he
shall

destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy {face}: so

shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly,

as the LORD hath said unto thee.

face And it shall be, if the wicked man [be] worthy
to be

beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be
beaten

before his {face}, according to his fault, by a certain number.

face Then shall his brother's wife come unto him in
the

presence of the elders, and loose his shoe from off his foot, and

spit in his {face}, and shall answer and say, So shall it be done

unto that man that will not build up his brother's house

.

face The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up

against thee to be smitten before thy {face}: they shall come out

against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.

face Thine ox [shall be] slain before thine eyes, and

thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass [shall be] violently taken

away from before thy {face}, and shall not be restored to thee:
thy

sheep [shall be] given unto thine enemies, and thou shal

t have none to rescue [them].

face And the LORD shall give them up before your
{face},

that ye may do unto them according unto all the commandments
which I

have commanded you.

face Then my anger shall be kindled against them in
that

day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my {face} from
them,

and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall
befall

them; so that they will say in that day, Are not t

hese evils come upon us, because our God [is] not among us?

face And I will surely hide my {face} in that day for

all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are
turned

unto other gods.

face And he said, I will hide my {face} from them, I

will see what their end [shall be]: for they [are] a very froward

generation, children in whom [is] no faith.

face And there arose not a prophet since in Israel
like

unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to {face},

face And there arose not a prophet since in Israel
like

unto Moses, whom the LORD knew {face} to face,

face And he said, Nay; but [as] captain of the host of

the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his {face} to the
earth,

and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his

servant?

face And Joshua rent his clothes, and fell to the earth

upon his {face} before the ark of the LORD until the eventide, he

and the elders of Israel, and put dust upon their heads.

face And the LORD said unto Joshua, Get thee up;

wherefore liest thou thus upon thy {face}?

face And when Gideon perceived that he [was] an angel
of

the LORD, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord GOD! for because I have seen
an

angel of the LORD face to {face}.

face And when Gideon perceived that he [was] an angel
of

the LORD, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord GOD! for because I have seen
an

angel of the LORD {face} to face.

face Then she fell on her {face}, and bowed herself to

the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine
eyes,

that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I [am] a
stranger?

face <1SA5 -3> And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow,

behold, Dagon [was] fallen upon his {face} to the earth before
the

ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place

again.

face <1SA5 -4> And when they arose early on the morrow morning,

behold, Dagon [was] fallen upon his {face} to the ground before
the

ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his

hands [were] cut off upon the threshold; only [the stump o

f] Dagon was left to him.

face <1SA17 -49> And David put his hand in his bag, and took
thence

a stone, and slang [it], and smote the Philistine in his
forehead,

that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his
{face}

to the earth.

face <1SA20 -15> But [also] thou shalt not cut off thy kindness
from

my house for ever: no, not when the LORD hath cut off the
enemies of

David every one from the {face} of the earth.

face <1SA20 -41> And] as soon as the lad was gone, David arose
out

of [a place] toward the south, and fell on his {face} to the
ground,

and bowed himself three times: and they kissed one another, and
wept

one with another, until David exceeded.

face <1SA24 -8> David also arose afterward, and went out of the

cave, and cried after Saul, saying, My lord the king. And when
Saul

looked behind him, David stooped with his {face} to the earth,
and

bowed himself.

face <1SA25 -23> And when Abigail saw David, she hasted, and
lighted

off the ass, and fell before David on her {face}, and bowed
herself

to the ground,

face <1SA25 -41> And she arose, and bowed herself on [her]
{face} to

the earth, and said, Behold, [let] thine handmaid [be] a servant
to

wash the feet of the servants of my lord.

face <1SA26 -20> Now therefore, let not my blood fall to the
earth

before the {face} of the LORD: for the king of Israel is come
out to

seek a flea, as when one doth hunt a partridge in the mountains.

face <1SA28 -14> And he said unto her, What form [is] he of? And
she

said, An old man cometh up; and he [is] covered with a mantle.
And

Saul perceived that it [was] Samuel, and he stooped with [his]

{face} to the ground, and bowed himself.

face <2SA2 -22> And Abner said again to Asahel, Turn thee aside
from

following me: wherefore should I smite thee to the ground? how
then

should I hold up my {face} to Joab thy brother?

face <2SA3 -13> And he said, Well; I will make a league with
thee:

but one thing I require of thee, that is, Thou shalt not see my

{face}, except thou first bring Michal Saul's daughter, when thou

comest to see my face.

face <2SA3 -13> And he said, Well; I will make a league with
thee:

but one thing I require of thee, that is, Thou shalt not see my

face, except thou first bring Michal Saul's daughter, when thou

comest to see my {face}.

face <2SA9 -6> Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the
son

of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his {face}, and did

reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold
thy

servant!

face <2SA14 -4> And when the woman of Tekoah spake to the king,
she

fell on her {face} to the ground, and did obeisance, and said,
Help,

O king.

face <2SA14 -22> And Joab fell to the ground on his {face}, and

bowed himself, and thanked the king: and Joab said, To day thy

servant knoweth that I have found grace in thy sight, my lord, O

king, in that the king hath fulfilled the request of his servan

t.

face <2SA14 -24> And the king said, Let him turn to his own
house,

and let him not see my {face}. So Absalom returned to his own
house,

and saw not the king's face.

face <2SA14 -24> And the king said, Let him turn to his own
house,

and let him not see my face. So Absalom returned to his own
house,

and saw not the king's {face}.

face <2SA14 -28> So Absalom dwelt two full years in Jerusalem,
and

saw not the king's {face}.

face <2SA14 -32> And Absalom answered Joab, Behold, I sent unto

thee, saying, Come hither, that I may send thee to the king, to
say,

Wherefore am I come from Geshur? [it had been] good for me [to
have

been] there still: now therefore let me see the king's

{face}; and if there be [any] iniquity in me, let him kill me.

face <2SA14 -33> So Joab came to the king, and told him: and
when he

had called for Absalom, he came to the king, and bowed himself on

his {face} to the ground before the king: and the king kissed

Absalom.

face <2SA18 -8> For the battle was there scattered over the
{face}

of all the country: and the wood devoured more people that day
than

the sword devoured.

face <2SA18 -28> And Ahimaaz called, and said unto the king, All
is

well. And he fell down to the earth upon his {face} before the
king,

and said, Blessed [be] the LORD thy God, which hath delivered up
the

men that lifted up their hand against my lord the

king.

face <2SA19 -4> But the king covered his {face}, and the king
cried

with a loud voice, O my son Absalom, O Absalom, my son, my son!

face <2SA24 -20> And Araunah looked, and saw the king and his

servants coming on toward him: and Araunah went out, and bowed

himself before the king on his {face} upon the ground.

face <1KI1 -23> And they told the king, saying, Behold Nathan the

prophet. And when he was come in before the king, he bowed
himself

before the king with his {face} to the ground.

face <1KI1 -31> Then Bathsheba bowed with [her] {face} to the
earth,

and did reverence to the king, and said, Let my lord king David
live

for ever.

face <1KI8 -14> And the king turned his {face} about, and blessed

all the congregation of Israel: (and all the congregation of
Israel

stood;)

face <1KI13 -6> And the king answered and said unto the man of
God,

Entreat now the {face} of the LORD thy God, and pray for me,
that my

hand may be restored me again. And the man of God besought the
LORD,

and the king's hand was restored him again, and b

ecame as [it was] before.

face <1KI13 -34> And this thing became sin unto the house of

Jeroboam, even to cut [it] off, and to destroy [it] from off the

{face} of the earth.

face <1KI18 -7> And as Obadiah was in the way, behold, Elijah met

him: and he knew him, and fell on his {face}, and said, [Art]
thou

that my lord Elijah?

face <1KI18 -42> So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah

went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the

earth, and put his {face} between his knees,

face <1KI19 -13> And it was [so], when Elijah heard [it] that he

wrapped his {face} in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the

entering in of the cave. And, behold, [there came] a voice unto
him,

and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

face <1KI20 -38> So the prophet departed, and waited for the
king by

the way, and disguised himself with ashes upon his {face}.

face <1KI20 -41> And he hasted, and took the ashes away from his

{face}; and the king of Israel discerned him that he [was] of the

prophets.

face <1KI21 -4> And Ahab came into his house heavy and displeased

because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to
him:

for he had said, I will not give thee the inheritance of my
fathers.

And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away hi

s {face}, and would eat no bread.

face <2KI4 -29> Then he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and
take

my staff in thine hand, and go thy way: if thou meet any man,
salute

him not; and if any salute thee, answer him not again: and lay my

staff upon the {face} of the child.

face <2KI4 -31> And Gehazi passed on before them, and laid the
staff

upon the {face} of the child; but [there was] neither voice, nor

hearing. Wherefore he went again to meet him, and told him,
saying,

The child is not awaked.

face <2KI8 -15> And it came to pass on the morrow, that he took a

thick cloth, and dipped [it] in water, and spread [it] on his

{face}, so that he died: and Hazael reigned in his stead.

face <2KI9 -30> And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard
[of

it]; and she painted her {face}, and tired her head, and looked
out

at a window.

face <2KI9 -32> And he lifted up his {face} to the window, and
said,

Who [is] on my side? who? And there looked out to him two [or]
three

eunuchs.

face <2KI9 -37> And the carcase of Jezebel shall be as dung upon
the

{face} of the field in the portion of Jezreel; [so] that they
shall

not say, This [is] Jezebel.

face <2KI12 -17> Then Hazael king of Syria went up, and fought

against Gath, and took it: and Hazael set his {face} to go up to

Jerusalem.

face <2KI13 -14> Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness
whereof

he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and
wept

over his {face}, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of

Israel, and the horsemen thereof.

face <2KI14 -8> Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash, the son
of

Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us look
one

another in the {face}.

face <2KI14 -11> But Amaziah would not hear. Therefore Jehoash
king

of Israel went up; and he and Amaziah king of Judah looked one

another in the {face} at Bethshemesh, which [belongeth] to Judah.

face <2KI18 -24> How then wilt thou turn away the {face} of one

captain of the least of my master's servants, and put thy trust
on

Egypt for chariots and for horsemen?

face <2KI20 -2> Then he turned his {face} to the wall, and prayed

unto the LORD, saying,

face <1CH16 -11> Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his {face}

continually.

face <1CH21 -21> And as David came to Ornan, Ornan looked and saw

David, and went out of the threshingfloor, and bowed himself to

David with [his] {face} to the ground.

face <2CH6 -3> And the king turned his {face}, and blessed the
whole

congregation of Israel: and all the congregation of Israel stood.

face <2CH6 -42> O LORD God, turn not away the {face} of thine

anointed: remember the mercies of David thy servant.

face <2CH7 -14> If my people, which are called by my name, shall

humble themselves, and pray, and seek my {face}, and turn from
their

wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their

sin, and will heal their land.

face <2CH20 -18> And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with [his]
{face} to

the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell

before the LORD, worshipping the LORD.

face <2CH25 -17> Then Amaziah king of Judah took advice, and
sent to

Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel,
saying,

Come, let us see one another in the {face}.

face <2CH25 -21> So Joash the king of Israel went up; and they
saw

one another in the {face}, [both] he and Amaziah king of Judah,
at

Bethshemesh, which [belongeth] to Judah.

face <2CH30 -9> For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren

and your children [shall find] compassion before them that lead
them

captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the
LORD

your God [is] gracious and merciful, and will not tu

rn away [his] {face} from you, if ye return unto him.

face <2CH32 -21> And the LORD sent an angel, which cut off all
the

mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of

the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of {face} to his
own

land. And when he was come into the house of his god,

they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the

sword.

face <2CH35 -22> Nevertheless Josiah would not turn his {face}
from

him, but disguised himself, that he might fight with him, and

hearkened not unto the words of Necho from the mouth of God, and

came to fight in the valley of Megiddo.

face And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to
lift up

my {face} to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over

[our] head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens.

face Since the days of our fathers [have] we [been] in
a

great trespass unto this day; and for our iniquities have we, our

kings, [and] our priests, been delivered into the hand of the
kings

of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, and to a spo

il, and to confusion of {face}, as [it is] this day.

face And the next unto him [was] Carshena, Shethar,

Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena, [and] Memucan, the seven
princes

of Persia and Media, which saw the king's {face}, [and] which sat

the first in the kingdom;)

face Then the king returned out of the palace garden
into

the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the
bed

whereon Esther [was]. Then said the king, Will he force the queen

also before me in the house? As the word went out of

the king's mouth, they covered Haman's {face}.

face But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that
he

hath, and he will curse thee to thy {face}.

face But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone
and

his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy {face}.

face Then a spirit passed before my {face}; the hair
of

my flesh stood up:

face For then shalt thou lift up thy {face} without

spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:

face Wherefore hidest thou thy {face}, and holdest me

for thine enemy?

face Because he covereth his {face} with his fatness,

and maketh collops of fat on [his] flanks.

face And thou hast filled me with wrinkles, [which]
is a

witness [against me]: and my leanness rising up in me beareth

witness to my {face}.

face My {face} is foul with weeping, and on my
eyelids

[is] the shadow of death;

face Who shall declare his way to his {face}? and who

shall repay him [what] he hath done?

face For then shalt thou have thy delight in the

Almighty, and shalt lift up thy {face} unto God.

face Because I was not cut off before the darkness,

[neither] hath he covered the darkness from my {face}.

face The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the

twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth [his]
{face}.

face He holdeth back the {face} of his throne, [and]

spreadeth his cloud upon it.

face They abhor me, they flee far from me, and spare
not

to spit in my {face}.

face He shall pray unto God, and he will be
favourable

unto him: and he shall see his {face} with joy: for he will
render

unto man his righteousness.

face When he giveth quietness, who then can make

trouble? and when he hideth [his] {face}, who then can behold
him?

whether [it be done] against a nation, or against a man only:

face And it is turned round about by his counsels:
that

they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the {face} of the

world in the earth.

face The waters are hid as [with] a stone, and the

{face} of the deep is frozen.

face Who can discover the {face} of his garment? [or]

who can come [to him] with his double bridle?

face Who can open the doors of his {face}? his teeth

[are] terrible round about.

face Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of
mine

enemies; make thy way straight before my {face}.

face He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten:
he

hideth his {face}; he will never see [it].

face To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. How long

wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide
thy

{face} from me?

face As for me, I will behold thy {face} in

righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy

likeness.

face Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back,

[when] thou shalt make ready [thine arrows] upon thy strings
against

the {face} of them.

face For he hath not despised nor abhorred the

affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his {face} from

him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

face This [is] the generation of them that seek him,
that

seek thy {face}, O Jacob. Selah.

face When thou saidst], Seek ye my {face}; my heart
said

unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

face When thou saidst], Seek ye my face; my heart said

unto thee, Thy {face}, LORD, will I seek.

face Hide not thy {face} [far] from me; put not thy

servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not,
neither

forsake me, O God of my salvation.

face LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to

stand strong: thou didst hide thy {face}, [and] I was troubled.

face Make thy {face} to shine upon thy servant: save
me

for thy mercies' sake.

face The {face} of the LORD [is] against them that do

evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

face And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine
integrity,

and settest me before thy {face} for ever.

face My confusion [is] continually before me, and the

shame of my {face} hath covered me,

face Wherefore hidest thou thy {face}, [and]
forgettest

our affliction and our oppression?

face Hide thy {face} from my sins, and blot out all
mine

iniquities.

face To the chief Musician on Neginoth, A Psalm [or]

Song. God be merciful unto us, and bless us; [and] cause his
{face}

to shine upon us; Selah.

face Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame

hath covered my {face}.

face And hide not thy {face} from thy servant; for I
am

in trouble: hear me speedily.

face Turn us again, O God, and cause thy {face} to
shine;

and we shall be saved.

face Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy
{face}

to shine; and we shall be saved.

face Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy

{face} to shine; and we shall be saved.

face Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the
{face}

of thine anointed.

face LORD, why castest thou off my soul? [why] hidest

thou thy {face} from me?

face Justice and judgment [are] the habitation of thy

throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy {face}.

face And I will beat down his foes before his {face},

and plague them that hate him.

face Hide not thy {face} from me in the day [when] I
am

in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day [when] I call

answer me speedily.

face And wine [that] maketh glad the heart of man,

[and] oil to make [his] {face} to shine, and bread [which]

strengtheneth man's heart.

face Thou hidest thy {face}, they are troubled: thou

takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.

face Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are
created:

and thou renewest the {face} of the earth.

face Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his {face}

evermore.

face Make thy {face} to shine upon thy servant; and

teach me thy statutes.

face For thy servant David's sake turn not away the

{face} of thine anointed.

face Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth:
hide

not thy {face} from me, lest I be like unto them that go down
into

the pit.

face So she caught him, and kissed him, [and] with an

impudent {face} said unto him,

face Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently
to

seek thy {face}, and I have found thee.

face When he prepared the heavens, I [was] there:
when he

set a compass upon the {face} of the depth:

face A wicked man hardeneth his {face}: but [as for]
the

upright, he directeth his way.

face And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns,
[and]

nettles had covered the {face} thereof, and the stone wall
thereof

was broken down.

face As in water {face} [answereth] to face, so the

heart of man to man.

face As in water face [answereth] to {face}, so the

heart of man to man.

face Who [is] as the wise [man]? and who knoweth the

interpretation of a thing? a man's wisdom maketh his {face} to

shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed.

face Who [is] as the wise [man]? and who knoweth the

interpretation of a thing? a man's wisdom maketh his face to
shine,

and the boldness of his {face} shall be changed.

face Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six
wings;

with twain he covered his {face}, and with twain he covered his

feet, and with twain he did fly.

face And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his

{face} from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

face Prepare slaughter for his children for the
iniquity

of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land,
nor

fill the {face} of the world with cities.

face Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou
a

covert to them from the {face} of the spoiler: for the
extortioner

is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed
out

of the land.

face And it shall come to pass after the end of
seventy

years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her

hire, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the

world upon the {face} of the earth.

face And he will destroy in this mountain the {face}
of

the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread
over

all nations.

face He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take
root:

Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the {face} of the world
with

fruit.

face When he hath made plain the {face} thereof,
doth he

not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in
the

principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their
place?

face Therefore thus saith the LORD, who redeemed

Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be

ashamed, neither shall his {face} now wax pale.

face How then wilt thou turn away the {face} of one

captain of the least of my master's servants, and put thy trust
on

Egypt for chariots and for horsemen?

face Then Hezekiah turned his {face} toward the wall,
and

prayed unto the LORD,

face And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and
their

queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with
[their]

{face} toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and
thou

shalt know that I [am] the LORD: for they shall not

be ashamed that wait for me.

face I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to
them

that plucked off the hair: I hid not my {face} from shame and

spitting.

face For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I
not

be confounded: therefore have I set my {face} like a flint, and I

know that I shall not be ashamed.

face In a little wrath I hid my {face} from thee for a

moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee,

saith the LORD thy Redeemer.

face But your iniquities have separated between you
and

your God, and your sins have hid [his] {face} from you, that he
will

not hear.

face And [there is] none that calleth upon thy name,
that

stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy

{face} from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.

face A people that provoketh me to anger continually
to

my {face}; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon

altars of brick;

face And the word of the LORD came unto me the second

time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot;
and

the {face} thereof [is] toward the north.

face Saying to a stock, Thou [art] my father; and to a

stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned [their]
back

unto me, and not [their] {face}: but in the time of their trouble

they will say, Arise, and save us.

face And [when] thou [art] spoiled, what wilt thou do?

Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest
thee

with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy {face} with

painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; [thy] lovers

will despise thee, they will seek thy life.

face And they shall spread them before the sun, and the

moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom

they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they

have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not

be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the
{face}

of the earth.

face Therefore will I discover thy skirts upon thy

{face}, that thy shame may appear.

face They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall
not be

lamented; neither shall they be buried; [but] they shall be as
dung

upon the {face} of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the

sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be meat

for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.

face For mine eyes [are] upon all their ways: they
are

not hid from my {face}, neither is their iniquity hid from mine

eyes.

face I will scatter them as with an east wind before
the

enemy; I will show them the back, and not the {face}, in the day
of

their calamity.

face For I have set my {face} against this city for

evil, and not for good, saith the LORD: it shall be given into
the

hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.

face And I will give thee into the hand of them that

seek thy life, and into the hand [of them] whose {face} thou

fearest, even into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon,
and

into the hand of the Chaldeans.

face And all the kings of the north, far and near,
one

with another, and all the kingdoms of the world, which [are] upon

the {face} of the earth: and the king of Sheshach shall drink
after

them.

face Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will
cast

thee from off the {face} of the earth: this year thou shalt die,

because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD.

face For this city hath been to me [as] a
provocation of

mine anger and of my fury from the day that they built it even
unto

this day; that I should remove it from before my {face},

face And they have turned unto me the back, and not
the

{face}: though I taught them, rising up early and teaching
[them],

yet they have not hearkened to receive instruction.

face They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but [it
is]

to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in
mine

anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my

{face} from this city.

face Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God
of

Israel; Behold, I will set my {face} against you for evil, and to

cut off all Judah.

face Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of
the

watches pour out thine heart like water before the {face} of the

Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young

children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street.

face To turn aside the right of a man before the
{face}

of the most High,

face As for the likeness of their faces, they four had

the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and

they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also
had

the {face} of an eagle.

face As for the likeness of their faces, they four had

the face of a man, and the {face} of a lion, on the right side:
and

they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also
had

the face of an eagle.

face As for the likeness of their faces, they four had

the {face} of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side:
and

they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also
had

the face of an eagle.

face As for the likeness of their faces, they four had

the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and

they four had the {face} of an ox on the left side; they four
also

had the face of an eagle.

face As the appearance of the bow that is in the
cloud in

the day of rain, so [was] the appearance of the brightness round

about. This [was] the appearance of the likeness of the glory of
the

LORD. And when I saw [it], I fell upon my {face}, an

d I heard a voice of one that spake.

face Behold, I have made thy {face} strong against
their

faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.

face Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and,

behold, the glory of the LORD stood there, as the glory which I
saw

by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my {face}.

face Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set
it

[for] a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy
{face}

against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege

against it. This [shall be] a sign to the house of Israel

.

face Therefore thou shalt set thy {face} toward the
siege

of Jerusalem, and thine arm [shall be] uncovered, and thou shalt

prophesy against it.

face Son of man, set thy {face} toward the mountains of

Israel, and prophesy against them,

face My {face} will I turn also from them, and they
shall

pollute my secret [place]: for the robbers shall enter into it,
and

defile it.

face And it came to pass, while they were slaying them,

and I was left, that I fell upon my {face}, and cried, and said,
Ah

Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy
pouring

out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?

face And every one had four faces: the first face
[was]

the face of a cherub, and the second face [was] the face of a
man,

and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the {face} of an

eagle.

face And every one had four faces: the first face
[was]

the {face} of a cherub, and the second face [was] the face of a
man,

and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an

eagle.

face And every one had four faces: the first face
[was]

the face of a cherub, and the second face [was] the face of a
man,

and the third the {face} of a lion, and the fourth the face of an

eagle.

face And every one had four faces: the first {face}

[was] the face of a cherub, and the second face [was] the face
of a

man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face
of an

eagle.

face And every one had four faces: the first face
[was]

the face of a cherub, and the second face [was] the {face} of a
man,

and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an

eagle.

face And every one had four faces: the first face
[was]

the face of a cherub, and the second {face} [was] the face of a
man,

and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an

eagle.

face And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that

Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my
{face},

and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou
make a

full end of the remnant of Israel?

face In their sight shalt thou bear [it] upon [thy]

shoulders, [and] carry [it] forth in the twilight: thou shalt
cover

thy {face}, that thou see not the ground: for I have set thee
[for]

a sign unto the house of Israel.

face And the prince that [is] among them shall bear
upon

[his] shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth: they shall
dig

through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his {face},

that he see not the ground with [his] eyes.

face Likewise, thou son of man, set thy {face}
against

the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own
heart;

and prophesy thou against them,

face Son of man, these men have set up their idols in

their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before

their {face}: should I be inquired of at all by them?

face Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them,
Thus

saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that
setteth up

his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his

iniquity before his {face}, and cometh to the prophet; I

the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude
of

his idols;

face For every one of the house of Israel, or of the

stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from

me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the

stumblingblock of his iniquity before his {face}, and cometh to a

prophet to inquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer
him

by myself:

face And I will set my {face} against that man, and
will

make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the
midst

of my people; and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD.

face And I will set my face against them; they shall
go

out from [one] fire, and [another] fire shall devour them; and ye

shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I set my {face} against
them.

face And I will set my {face} against them; they
shall go

out from [one] fire, and [another] fire shall devour them; and ye

shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I set my face against them.

face And I will bring you into the wilderness of the

people, and there will I plead with you {face} to face.

face And I will bring you into the wilderness of the

people, and there will I plead with you face to {face}.

face Son of man, set thy {face} toward the south, and

drop [thy word] toward the south, and prophesy against the
forest of

the south field;

face Son of man, set thy {face} toward Jerusalem, and

drop [thy word] toward the holy places, and prophesy against the

land of Israel,

face Go thee one way or other, [either] on the right

hand, [or] on the left, whithersoever thy {face} [is] set.

face Son of man, set thy {face} against the Ammonites,

and prophesy against them;

face Son of man, set thy {face} against Zidon, and

prophesy against it,

face Son of man, set thy {face} against Pharaoh king
of

Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt:

face My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and

upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the

{face} of the earth, and none did search or seek [after them].

face Son of man, set thy {face} against mount Seir,
and

prophesy against it,

face Son of man, set thy {face} against Gog, the land
of

Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy
against

him,

face And it shall come to pass at the same time when
Gog

shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD,
[that] my

fury shall come up in my {face}.

face So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of
the

heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that

creep upon the earth, and all the men that [are] upon the {face}
of

the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mount

ains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and

every wall shall fall to the ground.

face And they shall sever out men of continual

employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers

those that remain upon the {face} of the earth, to cleanse it:
after

the end of seven months shall they search.

face And the heathen shall know that the house of
Israel

went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed

against me, therefore hid I my {face} from them, and gave them
into

the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the swo

rd.

face According to their uncleanness and according to

their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my {face}
from

them.

face Neither will I hide my {face} any more from
them:

for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith
the

Lord GOD.

face And from the face of the gate of the entrance
unto

the {face} of the porch of the inner gate [were] fifty cubits.

face And from the {face} of the gate of the entrance

unto the face of the porch of the inner gate [were] fifty cubits.

face Also the breadth of the {face} of the house,
and of

the separate place toward the east, an hundred cubits.

face So that the face of a man [was] toward the palm

tree on the one side, and the {face} of a young lion toward the
palm

tree on the other side: [it was] made through all the house round

about.

face So that the {face} of a man [was] toward the
palm

tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the
palm

tree on the other side: [it was] made through all the house round

about.

face The posts of the temple [were] squared, [and]
the

{face} of the sanctuary; the appearance [of the one] as the

appearance [of the other].

face And [there were] made on them, on the doors of
the

temple, cherubims and palm trees, like as [were] made upon the

walls; and [there were] thick planks upon the {face} of the porch

without.

face And [it was] according to the appearance of the

vision which I saw, [even] according to the vision that I saw
when I

came to destroy the city: and the visions [were] like the vision

that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my {face}

.

face Then brought he me the way of the north gate
before

the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the LORD
filled

the house of the LORD: and I fell upon my {face}.

face Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his
{face},

and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an

oblation and sweet odours unto him.

face And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came

from the west on the {face} of the whole earth, and touched not
the

ground: and the goat [had] a notable horn between his eyes.

face So he came near where I stood: and when he came,
I

was afraid, and fell upon my {face}: but he said unto me,

Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end [shall be]
the

vision.

face Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep

sleep on my {face} toward the ground: but he touched me, and set
me

upright.

face And I set my {face} unto the Lord God, to seek by

prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:

face O Lord, to us [belongeth] confusion of {face}, to
our

kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned

against thee.

face Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy

servant, and his supplications, and cause thy {face} to shine
upon

thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake.

face His body also [was] like the beryl, and his
{face}

as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire,
and

his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the

voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

face Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I
heard

the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face,
and

my {face} toward the ground.

face Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I
heard

the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my {face},
and

my face toward the ground.

face And when he had spoken such words unto me, I
set my

{face} toward the ground, and I became dumb.

face He shall also set his {face} to enter with the

strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus
shall

he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting
her:

but she shall not stand [on his side], neither be for

him.

face After this shall he turn his {face} unto the
isles,

and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause
the

reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he
shall

cause [it] to turn upon him.

face Then he shall turn his {face} toward the fort of

his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.

face And the pride of Israel doth testify to his
{face}:

therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity; Judah

also shall fall with them.

face I will go [and] return to my place, till they

acknowledge their offence, and seek my {face}: in their
affliction

they will seek me early.

face And they consider not in their hearts [that] I

remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset
them

about; they are before my {face}.

face And the pride of Israel testifieth to his {face}:

and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for
all

this.

face Before their {face} the people shall be much
pained:

all faces shall gather blackness.

face But I will remove far off from you the northern

[army], and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with
his

{face} toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost

sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour sha

ll come up, because he hath done great things.

face Seek him] that maketh the seven stars and Orion,
and

turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day

dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and
poureth

them out upon the {face} of the earth: The LORD [is]

his name:

face It is] he that buildeth his stories in the heaven,

and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the

waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the {face} of the

earth: The LORD [is] his name.

face Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD [are] upon the

sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the {face} of the

earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob,

saith the LORD.

face Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not

hear them: he will even hide his {face} from them at that time,
as

they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.

face He that dasheth in pieces is come up before thy

{face}: keep the munition, watch the way, make [thy] loins
strong,

fortify [thy] power mightily.

face Behold, I [am] against thee, saith the LORD of
hosts;

and I will discover thy skirts upon thy {face}, and I will show
the

nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame.

face Then said he unto me, This [is] the curse that
goeth

forth over the {face} of the whole earth: for every one that

stealeth shall be cut off [as] on this side according to it; and

every one that sweareth shall be cut off [as] on that side ac

cording to it.

face But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head,
and

wash thy {face};

face For this is [he], of whom it is written, Behold,
I

send my messenger before thy {face}, which shall prepare thy way

before thee.

face And in the morning, [It will be] foul weather to

day: for the sky is red and lowering. O [ye] hypocrites, ye can

discern the {face} of the sky; but can ye not [discern] the
signs of

the times?

face And was transfigured before them: and his {face}
did

shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

face And when the disciples heard [it], they fell on

their {face}, and were sore afraid.

face Take heed that ye despise not one of these
little

ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always

behold the {face} of my Father which is in heaven.

face And he went a little farther, and fell on his

{face}, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let
this

cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou [wilt].

face Then did they spit in his {face}, and buffeted
him;

and others smote [him] with the palms of their hands,

face As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send
my

messenger before thy {face}, which shall prepare thy way before

thee.

face And some began to spit on him, and to cover his

{face}, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the

servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.

face And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of
the

Highest: for thou shalt go before the {face} of the Lord to
prepare

his ways;

face Which thou hast prepared before the {face} of all

people;

face And it came to pass, when he was in a certain
city,

behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his]
{face},

and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me

clean.

face This is he], of whom it is written, Behold, I
send

my messenger before thy {face}, which shall prepare thy way
before

thee.

face And it came to pass, when the time was come that
he

should be received up, he stedfastly set his {face} to go to

Jerusalem,

face And sent messengers before his {face}: and they

went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready

for him.

face And they did not receive him, because his {face}
was

as though he would go to Jerusalem.

face After these things the Lord appointed other
seventy

also, and sent them two and two before his {face} into every city

and place, whither he himself would come.

face Ye] hypocrites, ye can discern the {face} of the

sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this

time?

face And fell down on his] {face} at his feet, giving

him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

face For as a snare shall it come on all them that
dwell

on the {face} of the whole earth.

face And when they had blindfolded him, they struck
him

on the {face}, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that
smote

thee?

face And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and

foot with graveclothes: and his {face} was bound about with a

napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

face For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the

Lord always before my {face}, for he is on my right hand, that I

should not be moved:

face And all that sat in the council, looking
stedfastly

on him, saw his face as it had been the {face} of an angel.

face And all that sat in the council, looking
stedfastly

on him, saw his {face} as it had been the face of an angel.

face Which also our fathers that came after brought in

with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave
out

before the {face} of our fathers, unto the days of David;

face And hath made of one blood all nations of men
for

to dwell on all the {face} of the earth, and hath determined the

times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

face And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom
I

have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my {face} no
more.

face Sorrowing most of all for the words which he
spake,

that they should see his {face} no more. And they accompanied him

unto the ship.

face To whom I answered, It is not the manner of the

Romans to deliver any man to die, before that he which is accused

have the accusers {face} to face, and have licence to answer for

himself concerning the crime laid against him.

face To whom I answered, It is not the manner of the

Romans to deliver any man to die, before that he which is accused

have the accusers face to {face}, and have licence to answer for

himself concerning the crime laid against him.

face <1CO13 -12> For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then

{face} to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as

also I am known.

face <1CO13 -12> For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then

face to {face}: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as

also I am known.

face <1CO14 -25> And thus are the secrets of his heart made

manifest; and so falling down on his] {face} he will worship God,

and report that God is in you of a truth.

face <2CO3 -7> But if the ministration of death, written and]

engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel

could not stedfastly behold the {face} of Moses for the glory of
his

countenance; which glory] was to be done away:

face <2CO3 -13> And not as Moses, which] put a veil over his
{face},

that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end
of

that which is abolished:

face <2CO3 -18> But we all, with open {face} beholding as in a
glass

the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from
glory to

glory, even] as by the Spirit of the Lord.

face <2CO4 -6> For God, who commanded the light to shine out of

darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give] the light of the

knowledge of the glory of God in the {face} of Jesus Christ.

face <2CO11 -20> For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage,
if

a man devour you], if a man take of you], if a man exalt himself,
if

a man smite you on the {face}.

face And was unknown by {face} unto the churches of

Judaea which were in Christ:

face But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood
him

to the {face}, because he was to be blamed.

face For I would that ye knew what great conflict I
have

for you, and for] them at Laodicea, and for] as many as have not

seen my {face} in the flesh;

face <1TH2 -17> But we, brethren, being taken from you for a
short

time in presence, not in heart, endeavoured the more abundantly
to

see your {face} with great desire.

face <1TH3 -10> Night and day praying exceedingly that we might
see

your {face}, and might perfect that which is lacking in your
faith?

face For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a
doer,

he is like unto a man beholding his natural {face} in a glass:

face <1PE3 -12> For the eyes of the Lord are] over the righteous,

and his ears are open] unto their prayers: but the {face} of the

Lord is] against them that do evil.

face <2JO1 -12> Having many things to write unto you, I would not

write] with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and
speak

{face} to face, that our joy may be full.

face <2JO1 -12> Having many things to write unto you, I would not

write] with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and
speak

face to {face}, that our joy may be full.

face <3JO1 -14> But I trust I shall shortly see thee, and we
shall

speak {face} to face. Peace be] to thee. Our] friends salute
thee.

Greet the friends by name.

face <3JO1 -14> But I trust I shall shortly see thee, and we
shall

speak face to {face}. Peace be] to thee. Our] friends salute
thee.

Greet the friends by name.

face And the first beast was] like a lion, and the
second

beast like a calf, and the third beast had a {face} as a man, and

the fourth beast was] like a flying eagle.

face And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us,
and

hide us from the {face} of him that sitteth on the throne, and
from

the wrath of the Lamb:

face And I saw another mighty angel come down from

heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was] upon his head,
and

his {face} was] as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of
fire:

face And to the woman were given two wings of a great

eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place,
where

she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the

{face} of the serpent.

face And I saw a great white throne, and him that
sat on

it, from whose {face} the earth and the heaven fled away; and
there

was found no place for them.

face And they shall see his {face}; and his name shall

be] in their foreheads.
