at the time when kings go forth [to battle], that David sent
Joab,
and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the
children of Ammon, and {besieged} Rabbah. But David t
arried still at Jerusalem.

t Jerusalem. And Joab smote Rabbah, and destroyed it.

a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a {besieged}

year of king Zedekiah.
besieged Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and
set
it [for] a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy
face
against it, and it shall be {besieged}, and thou shalt lay siege
against it. This [shall be] a sign to the house of Is
rael.
besieged He that is far off shall die of the
pestilence;
and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that
remaineth
and is {besieged} shall die by the famine: thus will I
accomplish my
fury upon them.
besieged In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim
king
of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and
{besieged} it.
