battle And there went out the king of Sodom, and the
king

of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboiim, and
the

king of Bela (the same [is] Zoar;) and they joined {battle} with

them in the vale of Siddim;

battle And they turned and went up by the way of
Bashan:

and Og the king of Bashan went out against them, he, and all his

people, to the {battle} at Edrei.

battle And Moses was wroth with the officers of the

host, [with] the captains over thousands, and captains over

hundreds, which came from the {battle}.

battle And Eleazar the priest said unto the men of
war

which went to the {battle}, This [is] the ordinance of the law
which

the LORD commanded Moses;

battle And divide the prey into two parts; between
them

that took the war upon them, who went out to {battle}, and
between

all the congregation:

battle And levy a tribute unto the LORD of the men of

war which went out to {battle}: one soul of five hundred, [both]
of

the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the
sheep:

battle But thy servants will pass over, every man
armed

for war, before the LORD to {battle}, as my lord saith.

battle And Moses said unto them, If the children of
Gad

and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every
man

armed to {battle}, before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued

before you; then ye shall give them the land of Gile

ad for a possession:

battle And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the

Moabites, neither contend with them in {battle}: for I will not
give

thee of their land [for] a possession; because I have given Ar
unto

the children of Lot [for] a possession.

battle Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over
the

river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the
Amorite,

king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess [it], and contend

with him in {battle}.

battle Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan:
and

Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people,
to

{battle} at Edrei.

battle When thou goest out to {battle} against thine

enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, [and] a people more than

thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God [is] with thee,

which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

battle And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the

{battle}, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the
people,

battle And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye

approach this day unto {battle} against your enemies: let not
your

hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye
terrified

because of them;

battle And the officers shall speak unto the people,

saying, What man [is there] that hath built a new house, and hath

not dedicated it? let him go and return to his house, lest he
die in

the {battle}, and another man dedicate it.

battle And what man [is he] that hath planted a
vineyard,

and hath not [yet] eaten of it? let him [also] go and return unto

his house, lest he die in the {battle}, and another man eat of
it.

battle And what man [is there] that hath betrothed a

wife, and hath not taken her? let him go and return unto his
house,

lest he die in the {battle}, and another man take her.

battle And when ye came unto this place, Sihon the
king

of Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, came out against us unto

{battle}, and we smote them:

battle About forty thousand prepared for war passed
over

before the LORD unto {battle}, to the plains of Jericho.

battle And it came to pass, when the king of Ai saw
[it],

that they hasted and rose up early, and the men of the city went
out

against Israel to {battle}, he and all his people, at a time

appointed, before the plain; but he wist not that [there

were] liers in ambush against him behind the city.

battle There was not a city that made peace with the

children of Israel, save the Hivites the inhabitants of Gibeon:
all

[other] they took in {battle}.

battle For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts,

that they should come against Israel in {battle}, that he might

destroy them utterly, [and] that they might have no favour, but
that

he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.

battle And the thing pleased the children of Israel;
and

the children of Israel blessed God, and did not intend to go up

against them in {battle}, to destroy the land wherein the
children

of Reuben and Gad dwelt.

battle And Gideon the son of Joash returned from
{battle}

before the sun [was up],

battle But the children of Benjamin gathered
themselves

together out of the cities unto Gibeah, to go out to {battle}

against the children of Israel.

battle And the children of Israel arose, and went up
to

the house of God, and asked counsel of God, and said, Which of us

shall go up first to the {battle} against the children of
Benjamin?

And the LORD said, Judah [shall go up] first.

battle And the men of Israel went out to {battle}

against Benjamin; and the men of Israel put themselves in array
to

fight against them at Gibeah.

battle And the people the men of Israel encouraged

themselves, and set their {battle} again in array in the place
where

they put themselves in array the first day.

battle (And the children of Israel went up and wept

before the LORD until even, and asked counsel of the LORD,
saying,

Shall I go up again to {battle} against the children of Benjamin
my

brother? And the LORD said, Go up against him.)

battle And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of

Aaron, stood before it in those days,) saying, Shall I yet again
go

out to {battle} against the children of Benjamin my brother, or

shall I cease? And the LORD said, Go up; for to morrow I wi

ll deliver them into thine hand.

battle And there came against Gibeah ten thousand
chosen

men out of all Israel, and the {battle} was sore: but they knew
not

that evil [was] near them.

battle And when the men of Israel retired in the
battle,

Benjamin began to smite [and] kill of the men of Israel about
thirty

persons: for they said, Surely they are smitten down before us,
as

[in] the first {battle}.

battle And when the men of Israel retired in the

{battle}, Benjamin began to smite [and] kill of the men of Israel

about thirty persons: for they said, Surely they are smitten down

before us, as [in] the first battle.

battle Therefore they turned [their backs] before the

men of Israel unto the way of the wilderness; but the {battle}

overtook them; and them which [came] out of the cities they

destroyed in the midst of them.

battle <1SA4 -1> And the word of Samuel came to all Israel. Now

Israel went out against the Philistines to {battle}, and pitched

beside Ebenezer: and the Philistines pitched in Aphek.

battle <1SA4 -2> And the Philistines put themselves in array
against

Israel: and when they joined {battle}, Israel was smitten before
the

Philistines: and they slew of the army in the field about four

thousand men.

battle <1SA7 -10> And as Samuel was offering up the burnt
offering,

the Philistines drew near to {battle} against Israel: but the
LORD

thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines,
and

discomfited them; and they were smitten before Isra

el.

battle <1SA13 -22> So it came to pass in the day of {battle},
that

there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the

people that [were] with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with

Jonathan his son was there found.

battle <1SA14 -20> And Saul and all the people that [were] with
him

assembled themselves, and they came to the {battle}: and, behold,

every man's sword was against his fellow, [and there was] a very

great discomfiture.

battle <1SA14 -22> Likewise all the men of Israel which had hid

themselves in mount Ephraim, [when] they heard that the
Philistines

fled, even they also followed hard after them in the {battle}.

battle <1SA14 -23> So the LORD saved Israel that day: and the

{battle} passed over unto Bethaven.

battle <1SA17 -1> Now the Philistines gathered together their
armies

to {battle}, and were gathered together at Shochoh, which

[belongeth] to Judah, and pitched between Shochoh and Azekah, in

Ephesdammin.

battle <1SA17 -2> And Saul and the men of Israel were gathered

together, and pitched by the valley of Elah, and set the
{battle} in

array against the Philistines.

battle <1SA17 -8> And he stood and cried unto the armies of
Israel,

and said unto them, Why are ye come out to set [your] {battle} in

array? [am] not I a Philistine, and ye servants to Saul? choose
you

a man for you, and let him come down to me.

battle <1SA17 -13> And the three eldest sons of Jesse went [and]

followed Saul to the battle: and the names of his three sons that

went to the {battle} [were] Eliab the firstborn, and next unto
him

Abinadab, and the third Shammah.

battle <1SA17 -13> And the three eldest sons of Jesse went [and]

followed Saul to the {battle}: and the names of his three sons
that

went to the battle [were] Eliab the firstborn, and next unto him

Abinadab, and the third Shammah.

battle <1SA17 -20> And David rose up early in the morning, and
left

the sheep with a keeper, and took, and went, as Jesse had
commanded

him; and he came to the trench, as the host was going forth to
the

fight, and shouted for the {battle}.

battle <1SA17 -21> For Israel and the Philistines had put the

{battle} in array, army against army.

battle <1SA17 -28> And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he
spake

unto the men; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David, and he

said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left

those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and

the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou

mightest see the {battle}.

battle <1SA17 -47> And all this assembly shall know that the LORD

saveth not with sword and spear: for the {battle} [is] the
LORD's,

and he will give you into our hands.

battle <1SA26 -10> David said furthermore, [As] the LORD liveth,
the

LORD shall smite him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall

descend into {battle}, and perish.

battle <1SA28 -1> And it came to pass in those days, that the

Philistines gathered their armies together for warfare, to fight

with Israel. And Achish said unto David, Know thou assuredly,
that

thou shalt go out with me to {battle}, thou and thy men.

battle <1SA29 -4> And the princes of the Philistines were wroth
with

him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this

fellow return, that he may go again to his place which thou hast

appointed him, and let him not go down with us to {battl

e}, lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for wherewith

should he reconcile himself unto his master? [should it] not [be]

with the heads of these men?

battle <1SA29 -4> And the princes of the Philistines were wroth
with

him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this

fellow return, that he may go again to his place which thou hast

appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle

, lest in the {battle} he be an adversary to us: for wherewith

should he reconcile himself unto his master? [should it] not [be]

with the heads of these men?

battle <1SA29 -9> And Achish answered and said to David, I know
that

thou [art] good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding
the

princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us
to

the {battle}.

battle <1SA30 -24> For who will hearken unto you in this matter?
but

as his part [is] that goeth down to the {battle}, so [shall] his

part [be] that tarrieth by the stuff: they shall part alike.

battle <1SA31 -3> And the {battle} went sore against Saul, and
the

archers hit him; and he was sore wounded of the archers.

battle <2SA1 -4> And David said unto him, How went the matter? I

pray thee, tell me. And he answered, That the people are fled
from

the {battle}, and many of the people also are fallen and dead;
and

Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.

battle <2SA1 -25> How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the

{battle}! O Jonathan, [thou wast] slain in thine high places.

battle <2SA2 -17> And there was a very sore {battle} that day;
and

Abner was beaten, and the men of Israel, before the servants of

David.

battle <2SA3 -30> So Joab and Abishai his brother slew Abner,

because he had slain their brother Asahel at Gibeon in the
{battle}.

battle <2SA10 -8> And the children of Ammon came out, and put the

{battle} in array at the entering in of the gate: and the
Syrians of

Zoba, and of Rehob, and Ishtob, and Maacah, [were] by themselves
in

the field.

battle <2SA10 -9> When Joab saw that the front of the {battle}
was

against him before and behind, he chose of all the choice [men]
of

Israel, and put [them] in array against the Syrians:

battle <2SA10 -13> And Joab drew nigh, and the people that [were]

with him, unto the {battle} against the Syrians: and they fled

before him.

battle <2SA11 -1> And it came to pass, after the year was
expired,

at the time when kings go forth [to {battle}], that David sent
Joab,

and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the

children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tar

ried still at Jerusalem.

battle <2SA11 -15> And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye
Uriah

in the forefront of the hottest {battle}, and retire ye from him,

that he may be smitten, and die.

battle <2SA11 -25> Then David said unto the messenger, Thus shalt

thou say unto Joab, Let not this thing displease thee, for the
sword

devoureth one as well as another: make thy {battle} more strong

against the city, and overthrow it: and encourage thou h

im.

battle <2SA17 -11> Therefore I counsel that all Israel be
generally

gathered unto thee, from Dan even to Beersheba, as the sand that

[is] by the sea for multitude; and that thou go to {battle} in
thine

own person.

battle <2SA18 -6> So the people went out into the field against

Israel: and the {battle} was in the wood of Ephraim;

battle <2SA18 -8> For the {battle} was there scattered over the
face

of all the country: and the wood devoured more people that day
than

the sword devoured.

battle <2SA19 -3> And the people gat them by stealth that day
into

the city, as people being ashamed steal away when they flee in

{battle}.

battle <2SA19 -10> And Absalom, whom we anointed over us, is
dead in

{battle}. Now therefore why speak ye not a word of bringing the
king

back?

battle <2SA21 -17> But Abishai the son of Zeruiah succoured him,
and

smote the Philistine, and killed him. Then the men of David sware

unto him, saying, Thou shalt go no more out with us to {battle},

that thou quench not the light of Israel.

battle <2SA21 -18> And it came to pass after this, that there was

again a {battle} with the Philistines at Gob: then Sibbechai the

Hushathite slew Saph, which [was] of the sons of the giant.

battle <2SA21 -19> And there was again a {battle} in Gob with the

Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim, a
Bethlehemite,

slew [the brother of] Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose
spear

[was] like a weaver's beam.

battle <2SA21 -20> And there was yet a {battle} in Gath, where
was a

man of [great] stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and
on

every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was
born

to the giant.

battle <2SA22 -40> For thou hast girded me with strength to

{battle}: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under
me.

battle <2SA23 -9> And after him [was] Eleazar the son of Dodo the

Ahohite, [one] of the three mighty men with David, when they
defied

the Philistines [that] were there gathered together to {battle},
and

the men of Israel were gone away:

battle <1KI8 -44> If thy people go out to {battle} against their

enemy, whithersoever thou shalt send them, and shall pray unto
the

LORD toward the city which thou hast chosen, and [toward] the
house

that I have built for thy name:

battle <1KI20 -14> And Ahab said, By whom? And he said, Thus
saith

the LORD, [Even] by the young men of the princes of the
provinces.

Then he said, Who shall order the {battle}? And he answered,
Thou.

battle <1KI20 -29> And they pitched one over against the other
seven

days. And [so] it was, that in the seventh day the {battle} was

joined: and the children of Israel slew of the Syrians an hundred

thousand footmen in one day.

battle <1KI20 -39> And as the king passed by, he cried unto the

king: and he said, Thy servant went out into the midst of the

{battle}; and, behold, a man turned aside, and brought a man unto

me, and said, Keep this man: if by any means he be missing, the

n shall thy life be for his life, or else thou shalt pay a
talent of

silver.

battle <1KI22 -4> And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go
with me

to {battle} to Ramothgilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of

Israel, I [am] as thou [art], my people as thy people, my horses
as

thy horses.

battle <1KI22 -6> Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets

together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go

against Ramothgilead to {battle}, or shall I forbear? And they
said,

Go up; for the Lord shall deliver [it] into the hand of t

he king.

battle <1KI22 -15> So he came to the king. And the king said unto

him, Micaiah, shall we go against Ramothgilead to {battle}, or
shall

we forbear? And he answered him, Go, and prosper: for the LORD
shall

deliver [it] into the hand of the king.

battle <1KI22 -30> And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat,
I

will disguise myself, and enter into the battle; but put thou on
thy

robes. And the king of Israel disguised himself, and went into
the

{battle}.

battle <1KI22 -30> And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat,
I

will disguise myself, and enter into the {battle}; but put thou
on

thy robes. And the king of Israel disguised himself, and went
into

the battle.

battle <1KI22 -35> And the {battle} increased that day: and the
king

was stayed up in his chariot against the Syrians, and died at
even:

and the blood ran out of the wound into the midst of the chariot.

battle <2KI3 -7> And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of

Judah, saying, The king of Moab hath rebelled against me: wilt
thou

go with me against Moab to {battle}? And he said, I will go up: I

[am] as thou [art], my people as thy people, [and] my ho

rses as thy horses.

battle <2KI3 -26> And when the king of Moab saw that the {battle}

was too sore for him, he took with him seven hundred men that
drew

swords, to break through [even] unto the king of Edom: but they

could not.

battle <1CH5 -20> And they were helped against them, and the

Hagarites were delivered into their hand, and all that [were]
with

them: for they cried to God in the {battle}, and he was
entreated of

them; because they put their trust in him.

battle <1CH7 -11> All these the sons of Jediael, by the heads of

their fathers, mighty men of valour, [were] seventeen thousand
and

two hundred [soldiers], fit to go out for war [and] {battle}.

battle <1CH7 -40> All these [were] the children of Asher, heads
of

[their] father's house, choice [and] mighty men of valour, chief
of

the princes. And the number throughout the genealogy of them that

were apt to the war [and] to {battle} [was] twenty and

six thousand men.

battle <1CH10 -3> And the {battle} went sore against Saul, and
the

archers hit him, and he was wounded of the archers.

Philistines were gathered together to {battle}, where was a
parcel

of ground full of barley; and the people fled from before the

Philistines.

battle <1CH12 -8> And of the Gadites there separated themselves
unto

David into the hold to the wilderness men of might, [and] men of
war

[fit] for the {battle}, that could handle shield and buckler,
whose

faces [were like] the faces of lions, and [were]

as swift as the roes upon the mountains;

battle <1CH12 -19> And there fell [some] of Manasseh to David,
when

he came with the Philistines against Saul to {battle}: but they

helped them not: for the lords of the Philistines upon advisement

sent him away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul to

[the jeopardy of] our heads.

battle <1CH12 -33> Of Zebulun, such as went forth to {battle},

expert in war, with all instruments of war, fifty thousand, which

could keep rank: [they were] not of double heart.

battle <1CH12 -36> And of Asher, such as went forth to {battle},

expert in war, forty thousand.

battle <1CH12 -37> And on the other side of Jordan, of the

Reubenites, and the Gadites, and of the half tribe of Manasseh,
with

all manner of instruments of war for the {battle}, an hundred and

twenty thousand.

battle <1CH14 -15> And it shall be, when thou shalt hear a sound
of

going in the tops of the mulberry trees, [that] then thou shalt
go

out to {battle}: for God is gone forth before thee to smite the
host

of the Philistines.

battle <1CH19 -7> So they hired thirty and two thousand chariots,

and the king of Maachah and his people; who came and pitched
before

Medeba. And the children of Ammon gathered themselves together
from

their cities, and came to {battle}.

battle <1CH19 -9> And the children of Ammon came out, and put the

{battle} in array before the gate of the city: and the kings that

were come [were] by themselves in the field.

battle <1CH19 -10> Now when Joab saw that the {battle} was set

against him before and behind, he chose out of all the choice of

Israel, and put [them] in array against the Syrians.

battle <1CH19 -14> So Joab and the people that [were] with him
drew

nigh before the Syrians unto the {battle}; and they fled before
him.

battle <1CH19 -17> And it was told David; and he gathered all

Israel, and passed over Jordan, and came upon them, and set [the

battle] in array against them. So when David had put the
{battle} in

array against the Syrians, they fought with him.

battle <1CH19 -17> And it was told David; and he gathered all

Israel, and passed over Jordan, and came upon them, and set [the

{battle}] in array against them. So when David had put the
battle in

array against the Syrians, they fought with him.

battle <1CH20 -1> And it came to pass, that after the year was

expired, at the time that kings go out [to {battle}], Joab led
forth

the power of the army, and wasted the country of the children of

Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried at

Jerusalem. And Joab smote Rabbah, and destroyed it.

battle <2CH13 -3> And Abijah set the battle in array with an
army of

valiant men of war, [even] four hundred thousand chosen men:

hundred thousand chosen men, [being] mighty men of valour.

battle <2CH13 -3> And Abijah set the {battle} in array with an
army

of valiant men of war, [even] four hundred thousand chosen men:

Jeroboam also set the battle in array against him with eight
hundred

thousand chosen men, [being] mighty men of valour.

battle <2CH13 -14> And when Judah looked back, behold, the
{battle}

[was] before and behind: and they cried unto the LORD, and the

priests sounded with the trumpets.

battle <2CH14 -10> Then Asa went out against him, and they set
the

{battle} in array in the valley of Zephathah at Mareshah.

battle <2CH18 -5> Therefore the king of Israel gathered together
of

prophets four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall we go to

Ramothgilead to {battle}, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go
up;

for God will deliver [it] into the king's hand.

battle <2CH18 -14> And when he was come to the king, the king
said

unto him, Micaiah, shall we go to Ramothgilead to {battle}, or
shall

I forbear? And he said, Go ye up, and prosper, and they shall be

delivered into your hand.

battle <2CH18 -29> And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat,
I

will disguise myself, and will go to the {battle}; but put thou
on

thy robes. So the king of Israel disguised himself; and they
went to

the battle.

battle <2CH18 -29> And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat,
I

will disguise myself, and will go to the battle; but put thou on
thy

robes. So the king of Israel disguised himself; and they went to
the

{battle}.

battle <2CH18 -34> And the {battle} increased that day: howbeit
the

king of Israel stayed [himself] up in [his] chariot against the

Syrians until the even: and about the time of the sun going down
he

died.

battle <2CH20 -1> It came to pass after this also, [that] the

children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them
[other]

beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to {battle}.

battle <2CH20 -15> And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye

inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith
the

LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great

multitude; for the {battle} [is] not yours, but God's.

battle <2CH20 -17> Ye shall not [need] to fight in this
[{battle}]:

set yourselves, stand ye [still], and see the salvation of the
LORD

with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to

morrow go out against them: for the LORD [will be] with

you.

battle <2CH25 -8> But if thou wilt go, do [it], be strong for the

{battle}: God shall make thee fall before the enemy: for God hath

power to help, and to cast down.

battle <2CH25 -13> But the soldiers of the army which Amaziah
sent

back, that they should not go with him to {battle}, fell upon the

cities of Judah, from Samaria even unto Bethhoron, and smote
three

thousand of them, and took much spoil.

battle Trouble and anguish shall make him afraid;
they

shall prevail against him, as a king ready to the {battle}.

battle Which I have reserved against the time of

trouble, against the day of {battle} and war?

battle He saith among the trumpets, Ha, ha; and he

smelleth the {battle} afar off, the thunder of the captains, and
the

shouting.

battle Lay thine hand upon him, remember the {battle},
do

no more.

battle For thou hast girded me with strength unto the

{battle}: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against
me.

battle Who [is] this King of glory? The LORD strong
and

mighty, the LORD mighty in {battle}.

battle He hath delivered my soul in peace from the

{battle} [that was] against me: for there were many with me.

battle There brake he the arrows of the bow, the
shield,

and the sword, and the {battle}. Selah.

battle The children of Ephraim, [being] armed, [and]

carrying bows, turned back in the day of {battle}.

battle Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword,
and

hast not made him to stand in the {battle}.

battle O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation,

thou hast covered my head in the day of {battle}.

battle The horse [is] prepared against the day of

{battle}: but safety [is] of the LORD.

battle I returned, and saw under the sun, that the
race

[is] not to the swift, nor the {battle} to the strong, neither
yet

bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor
yet

favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth

to them all.

battle For every {battle} of the warrior [is] with

confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but [this] shall be

with burning [and] fuel of fire.

battle The noise of a multitude in the mountains,
like as

of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations

gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the

{battle}.

battle Thou that art full of stirs, a tumultuous city,
a

joyous city: thy slain [men are] not slain with the sword, nor
dead

in {battle}.

battle Fury [is] not in me: who would set the briers

[and] thorns against me in {battle}? I would go through them, I

would burn them together.

battle And for a spirit of judgment to him that
sitteth

in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the {battle} to
the

gate.

battle Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of
his

anger, and the strength of {battle}: and it hath set him on fire

round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid [it]

not to heart.

battle I hearkened and heard, [but] they spake not
aright:

no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done?

every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the

{battle}.

battle Therefore deliver up their children to the

famine, and pour out their [blood] by the force of the sword; and

let their wives be bereaved of their children, and [be] widows;
and

let their men be put to death; [let] their young men [be] s

lain by the sword in {battle}.

battle Order ye the buckler and shield, and draw near
to

{battle}.

battle I have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an

ambassador is sent unto the heathen, [saying], Gather ye
together,

and come against her, and rise up to the {battle}.

battle A sound of {battle} [is] in the land, and of

great destruction.

battle They shall hold the bow and the lance: they
[are]

cruel, and will not show mercy: their voice shall roar like the
sea,

and they shall ride upon horses, [every one] put in array, like a

man to the {battle}, against thee, O daughter of Ba

bylon.

battle Thou [art] my {battle} ax [and] weapons of
war:

for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee
will

I destroy kingdoms;

battle They have blown the trumpet, even to make all

ready; but none goeth to the {battle}: for my wrath [is] upon all

the multitude thereof.

battle Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither
made up

the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the {battle} in the

day of the LORD.

battle Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of

taxes [in] the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he
shall be

destroyed, neither in anger, nor in {battle}.

battle And he shall stir up his power and his courage

against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of
the

south shall be stirred up to {battle} with a very great and
mighty

army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast

devices against him.

battle But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah,
and

will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by
bow,

nor by sword, nor by {battle}, by horses, nor by horsemen.

battle And in that day will I make a covenant for them

with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and

[with] the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the
bow

and the sword and the {battle} out of the earth, and will

make them to lie down safely.

battle O Israel, thou hast sinned from the days of

Gibeah: there they stood: the {battle} in Gibeah against the

children of iniquity did not overtake them.

battle Therefore shall a tumult arise among thy
people,

and all thy fortresses shall be spoiled, as Shalman spoiled

Betharbel in the day of {battle}: the mother was dashed in pieces

upon [her] children.

battle Like the noise of chariots on the tops of
mountains

shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth

the stubble, as a strong people set in {battle} array.

battle But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah,

and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the
day of

{battle}, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind:

battle The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD

concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an

ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise
up

against her in {battle}.

battle And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim,
and

the horse from Jerusalem, and the {battle} bow shall be cut off:
and

he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion [shall
be]

from sea [even] to sea, and from the river [even] to

the ends of the earth.

battle Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds,
and

I punished the goats: for the LORD of hosts hath visited his
flock

the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the

{battle}.

battle Out of him came forth the corner, out of him
the

nail, out of him the {battle} bow, out of him every oppressor

together.

battle And they shall be as mighty [men], which tread

down [their enemies] in the mire of the streets in the {battle}:
and

they shall fight, because the LORD [is] with them, and the
riders on

horses shall be confounded.

battle For I will gather all nations against
Jerusalem to

{battle}; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and

the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into

captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut o

ff from the city.

battle Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against

those nations, as when he fought in the day of {battle}.

battle <1CO14 -8> For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who

shall prepare himself to the {battle}?

battle And the shapes of the locusts were] like unto

horses prepared unto {battle}; and on their heads were] as it
were

crowns like gold, and their faces were] as the faces of men.

battle And they had breastplates, as it were
breastplates

of iron; and the sound of their wings was] as the sound of
chariots

of many horses running to {battle}.

battle For they are the spirits of devils, working

miracles, which] go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the

whole world, to gather them to the {battle} of that great day of
God

Almighty.

battle And shall go out to deceive the nations which
are

in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them

together to {battle}: the number of whom is] as the sand of the
sea.
