anger Until thy brother's {anger} turn away from
thee,

and he forget [that] which thou hast done to him: then I will
send,

and fetch thee from thence: why should I be deprived also of you

both in one day?

anger And Jacob's {anger} was kindled against Rachel:
and

he said, [Am] I in God's stead, who hath withheld from thee the

fruit of the womb?

anger Then Judah came near unto him, and said, Oh my

lord, let thy servant, I pray thee, speak a word in my lord's
ears,

and let not thine {anger} burn against thy servant: for thou
[art]

even as Pharaoh.

anger O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto

their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their

{anger} they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a

wall.

anger Cursed [be] their {anger}, for [it was] fierce;
and

their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and

scatter them in Israel.

anger And the {anger} of the LORD was kindled against

Moses, and he said, [Is] not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know

that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet

thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart

.

anger And all these thy servants shall come down unto
me,

and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all
the

people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he
went

out from Pharaoh in a great {anger}.

anger And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh
unto

the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses'
{anger}

waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake
them

beneath the mount.

anger And Aaron said, Let not the {anger} of my lord
wax

hot: thou knowest the people, that they [are set] on mischief.

anger And [when] the people complained, it displeased
the

LORD: and the LORD heard [it]; and his {anger} was kindled; and
the

fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed [them that were]
in

the uttermost parts of the camp.

anger Then Moses heard the people weep throughout
their

families, every man in the door of his tent: and the {anger} of
the

LORD was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased.

anger And the {anger} of the LORD was kindled against

them; and he departed.

anger And God's {anger} was kindled because he went:
and

the angel of the LORD stood in the way for an adversary against
him.

Now he was riding upon his ass, and his two servants [were] with

him.

anger And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she

fell down under Balaam: and Balaam's {anger} was kindled, and he

smote the ass with a staff.

anger And Balak's {anger} was kindled against Balaam,

and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I

called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast
altogether

blessed [them] these three times.

anger And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the

{anger} of the LORD was kindled against Israel.

anger And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the
heads of

the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun,
that

the fierce {anger} of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.

anger And the LORD'S {anger} was kindled the same
time,

and he sware, saying,

anger And the LORD'S {anger} was kindled against
Israel,

and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all
the

generation, that had done evil in the sight of the LORD, was

consumed.

anger And, behold, ye are risen up in your fathers'

stead, an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce
{anger}

of the LORD toward Israel.

anger When thou shalt beget children, and children's

children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall

corrupt [yourselves], and make a graven image, [or] the likeness
of

any [thing], and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD th

y God, to provoke him to {anger}:

anger For the LORD thy God [is] a jealous God among
you)

lest the {anger} of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and

destroy thee from off the face of the earth.

anger For they will turn away thy son from following
me,

that they may serve other gods: so will the {anger} of the LORD
be

kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.

anger And I fell down before the LORD, as at the
first,

forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink

water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing
wickedly

in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to {anger}.

anger For I was afraid of the {anger} and hot

displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy

you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also.

anger And there shall cleave nought of the cursed
thing

to thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his

{anger}, and show thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and

multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers;

anger The LORD will not spare him, but then the
{anger}

of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and
all

the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and
the

LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.

anger And that] the whole land thereof [is]
brimstone,

and salt, [and] burning, [that] it is not sown, nor beareth, nor
any

grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah,

Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his {a

nger}, and in his wrath:

anger Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the

LORD done thus unto this land? what [meaneth] the heat of this
great

{anger}?

anger And the {anger} of the LORD was kindled against

this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in
this

book:

anger And the LORD rooted them out of their land in

{anger}, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them
into

another land, as [it is] this day.

anger Then my {anger} shall be kindled against them
in

that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from

them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles
shall

befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not

these evils come upon us, because our God [is] not among us?

anger For I know that after my death ye will utterly

corrupt [yourselves], and turn aside from the way which I have

commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days;
because

ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to

{anger} through the work of your hands.

anger They provoked him to jealousy with strange
[gods],

with abominations provoked they him to {anger}.

anger They have moved me to jealousy with [that which

is] not God; they have provoked me to {anger} with their
vanities:

and I will move them to jealousy with [those which are] not a

people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

anger They have moved me to jealousy with [that which

is] not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities:
and

I will move them to jealousy with [those which are] not a people;
I

will provoke them to {anger} with a foolish nation.

anger For a fire is kindled in mine {anger}, and
shall

burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her

increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

anger But the children of Israel committed a trespass
in

the accursed thing: for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of
Zabdi,

the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed
thing:

and the {anger} of the LORD was kindled against the

children of Israel.

anger And they raised over him a great heap of stones

unto this day. So the LORD turned from the fierceness of his

{anger}. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley
of

Achor, unto this day.

anger When ye have transgressed the covenant of the
LORD

your God, which he commanded you, and have gone and served other

gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the {anger} of the

LORD be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickl

y from off the good land which he hath given unto you.

anger And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers,

which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other

gods, of the gods of the people that [were] round about them, and

bowed themselves unto them, and provoked the LORD to {anger}

.

anger And the {anger} of the LORD was hot against
Israel,

and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that spoiled
them,

and he sold them into the hands of their enemies round about, so

that they could not any longer stand before their ene

mies.

anger And the {anger} of the LORD was hot against
Israel;

and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my
covenant

which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my

voice;

anger Therefore the {anger} of the LORD was hot against

Israel, and he sold them into the hand of Chushanrishathaim king
of

Mesopotamia: and the children of Israel served Chushanrishathaim

eight years.

anger And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine {anger}
be

hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I
pray

thee, but this once with the fleece; let it now be dry only upon
the

fleece, and upon all the ground let there be dew.

anger God hath delivered into your hands the princes of

Midian, Oreb and Zeeb: and what was I able to do in comparison of

you? Then their {anger} was abated toward him, when he had said

that.

anger And when Zebul the ruler of the city heard the

words of Gaal the son of Ebed, his {anger} was kindled.

anger And the {anger} of the LORD was hot against
Israel,

and he sold them into the hands of the Philistines, and into the

hands of the children of Ammon.

anger And the spirit of the LORD came upon him, and
he

went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took
their

spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which expounded the

riddle. And his {anger} was kindled, and he went up to h

is father's house.

anger <1SA11 -6> And the spirit of God came upon Saul when he
heard

those tidings, and his {anger} was kindled greatly.

anger <1SA17 -28> And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he
spake

unto the men; and Eliab's {anger} was kindled against David, and
he

said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left

those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and

the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou

mightest see the battle.

anger <1SA20 -30> Then Saul's {anger} was kindled against
Jonathan,

and he said unto him, Thou son of the perverse rebellious
[woman],

do not I know that thou hast chosen the son of Jesse to thine own

confusion, and unto the confusion of thy mother's nake

dness?

anger <1SA20 -34> So Jonathan arose from the table in fierce

{anger}, and did eat no meat the second day of the month: for he
was

grieved for David, because his father had done him shame.

anger <2SA6 -7> And the {anger} of the LORD was kindled against

Uzzah; and God smote him there for [his] error; and there he
died by

the ark of God.

anger <2SA12 -5> And David's {anger} was greatly kindled against
the

man; and he said to Nathan, [As] the LORD liveth, the man that
hath

done this [thing] shall surely die:

anger <2SA24 -1> And again the {anger} of the LORD was kindled

against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go,
number

Israel and Judah.

anger <1KI14 -9> But hast done evil above all that were before
thee:

for thou hast gone and made thee other gods, and molten images,
to

provoke me to {anger}, and hast cast me behind thy back:

anger <1KI14 -15> For the LORD shall smite Israel, as a reed is

shaken in the water, and he shall root up Israel out of this good

land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them
beyond

the river, because they have made their groves, provoking

the LORD to {anger}.

anger <1KI15 -30> Because of the sins of Jeroboam which he
sinned,

and which he made Israel sin, by his provocation wherewith he

provoked the LORD God of Israel to {anger}.

anger <1KI16 -2> Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and

made thee prince over my people Israel; and thou hast walked in
the

way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to
provoke

me to {anger} with their sins;

anger <1KI16 -7> And also by the hand of the prophet Jehu the
son of

Hanani came the word of the LORD against Baasha, and against his

house, even for all the evil that he did in the sight of the
LORD,

in provoking him to {anger} with the work of his hands

, in being like the house of Jeroboam; and because he killed him.

anger <1KI16 -13> For all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of
Elah

his son, by which they sinned, and by which they made Israel to
sin,

in provoking the LORD God of Israel to {anger} with their
vanities.

anger <1KI16 -26> For he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the
son

of Nebat, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin, to
provoke

the LORD God of Israel to {anger} with their vanities.

anger <1KI16 -33> And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to

provoke the LORD God of Israel to {anger} than all the kings of

Israel that were before him.

anger <1KI21 -22> And will make thine house like the house of

Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son
of

Ahijah, for the provocation wherewith thou hast provoked [me] to

{anger}, and made Israel to sin.

anger <1KI22 -53> For he served Baal, and worshipped him, and

provoked to {anger} the LORD God of Israel, according to all that

his father had done.

anger <2KI13 -3> And the {anger} of the LORD was kindled against

Israel, and he delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of
Syria,

and into the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael, all [their]
days.

anger <2KI17 -11> And there they burnt incense in all the high

places, as [did] the heathen whom the LORD carried away before
them;

and wrought wicked things to provoke the LORD to {anger}:

anger <2KI17 -17> And they caused their sons and their daughters
to

pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and

sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke
him

to {anger}.

anger <2KI21 -6> And he made his son pass through the fire, and

observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar

spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of
the

LORD, to provoke [him] to {anger}.

anger <2KI21 -15> Because they have done [that which was] evil
in my

sight, and have provoked me to {anger}, since the day their
fathers

came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.

anger <2KI22 -17> Because they have forsaken me, and have burned

incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to {anger}
with

all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be kindled

against this place, and shall not be quenched.

anger <2KI23 -19> And all the houses also of the high places that

[were] in the cities of Samaria, which the kings of Israel had
made

to provoke [the LORD] to {anger}, Josiah took away, and did to
them

according to all the acts that he had done in Bethel.

anger <2KI23 -26> Notwithstanding the LORD turned not from the

fierceness of his great wrath, wherewith his {anger} was kindled

against Judah, because of all the provocations that Manasseh had

provoked him withal.

anger <2KI24 -20> For through the {anger} of the LORD it came to

pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his

presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

anger <1CH13 -10> And the {anger} of the LORD was kindled against

Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and

there he died before God.

anger <2CH25 -10> Then Amaziah separated them, [to wit], the army

that was come to him out of Ephraim, to go home again: wherefore

their anger was greatly kindled against Judah, and they returned

home in great {anger}.

anger <2CH25 -10> Then Amaziah separated them, [to wit], the army

that was come to him out of Ephraim, to go home again: wherefore

their {anger} was greatly kindled against Judah, and they
returned

home in great anger.

anger <2CH25 -15> Wherefore the {anger} of the LORD was kindled

against Amaziah, and he sent unto him a prophet, which said unto

him, Why hast thou sought after the gods of the people, which
could

not deliver their own people out of thine hand?

anger <2CH28 -25> And in every several city of Judah he made high

places to burn incense unto other gods, and provoked to {anger}
the

LORD God of his fathers.

anger <2CH33 -6> And he caused his children to pass through the
fire

in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and
used

enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar
spirit,

and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the si

ght of the LORD, to provoke him to {anger}.

anger <2CH34 -25> Because they have forsaken me, and have burned

incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to {anger}
with

all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be poured
out

upon this place, and shall not be quenched.

anger And cover not their iniquity, and let not their
sin

be blotted out from before thee: for they have provoked [thee] to

{anger} before the builders.

anger And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy

wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks,
and in

their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage:
but

thou [art] a God ready to pardon, gracious and merci

ful, slow to {anger}, and of great kindness, and forsookest them

not.

anger But the queen Vashti refused to come at the
king's

commandment by [his] chamberlains: therefore was the king very

wroth, and his {anger} burned in him.

anger Which removeth the mountains, and they know not:

which overturneth them in his {anger}.

anger If] God will not withdraw his {anger}, the proud

helpers do stoop under him.

anger He teareth himself in his {anger}: shall the
earth

be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his

place?

anger How oft is the candle of the wicked put out!
and

[how oft] cometh their destruction upon them! [God] distributeth

sorrows in his {anger}.

anger But now, because [it is] not [so], he hath
visited

in his {anger}; yet he knoweth [it] not in great extremity:

anger To the chief Musician on Neginoth upon Sheminith,
A

Psalm of David. O LORD, rebuke me not in thine {anger}, neither

chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

anger Arise, O LORD, in thine {anger}, lift up thyself

because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me [to] the

judgment [that] thou hast commanded.

anger Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the
time of

thine {anger}: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and
the

fire shall devour them.

anger Hide not thy face [far] from me; put not thy

servant away in {anger}: thou hast been my help; leave me not,

neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

anger For his {anger} [endureth but] a moment; in his

favour [is] life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy
[cometh]

in the morning.

anger Cease from {anger}, and forsake wrath: fret not

thyself in any wise to do evil.

anger There is] no soundness in my flesh because of
thine

{anger}; neither [is there any] rest in my bones because of my
sin.

anger Shall they escape by iniquity? in [thine]
{anger}

cast down the people, O God.

anger Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let
thy

wrathful {anger} take hold of them.

anger Maschil of Asaph. O God, why hast thou cast [us]

off for ever? [why] doth thine {anger} smoke against the sheep of

thy pasture?

anger Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in

{anger} shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

anger Therefore the LORD heard [this], and was wroth:
so

a fire was kindled against Jacob, and {anger} also came up
against

Israel;

anger But he, [being] full of compassion, forgave

[their] iniquity, and destroyed [them] not: yea, many a time
turned

he his {anger} away, and did not stir up all his wrath.

anger He cast upon them the fierceness of his
{anger},

wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels
[among

them].

anger He made a way to his {anger}; he spared not
their

soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence;

anger For they provoked him to {anger} with their
high

places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images.

anger Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast

turned [thyself] from the fierceness of thine {anger}.

anger Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine

{anger} toward us to cease.

anger Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou
draw

out thine {anger} to all generations?

anger For we are consumed by thine {anger}, and by thy

wrath are we troubled.

anger Who knoweth the power of thine {anger}? even

according to thy fear, [so is] thy wrath.

anger The LORD [is] merciful and gracious, slow to

{anger}, and plenteous in mercy.

anger He will not always chide: neither will he keep

[his {anger}] for ever.

anger Thus they provoked [him] to {anger} with their

inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.

anger The LORD [is] gracious, and full of compassion;

slow to {anger}, and of great mercy.

anger A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous

words stir up {anger}.

anger A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but [he that

is] slow to {anger} appeaseth strife.

anger He that is] slow to {anger} [is] better than
the

mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

anger The discretion of a man deferreth his {anger};
and

[it is] his glory to pass over a transgression.

anger The fear of a king [is] as the roaring of a
lion:

[whoso] provoketh him to {anger} sinneth [against] his own soul.

anger A gift in secret pacifieth {anger}: and a
reward

in the bosom strong wrath.

anger He that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity: and
the

rod of his {anger} shall fail.

anger Wrath [is] cruel, and {anger} [is] outrageous;
but

who [is] able to stand before envy?

anger Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for
{anger}

resteth in the bosom of fools.

anger Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a

seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have
forsaken

the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto {anger},

they are gone away backward.

anger Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled
against

his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them,
and

hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases

[were] torn in the midst of the streets. For all this h

is {anger} is not turned away, but his hand [is] stretched out

still.

anger Therefore is the {anger} of the LORD kindled

against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against

them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their

carcases [were] torn in the midst of the streets. For all this

his anger is not turned away, but his hand [is] stretched out

still.

anger And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear
not,

neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking

firebrands, for the fierce {anger} of Rezin with Syria, and of
the

son of Remaliah.

anger The Syrians before, and the Philistines behind;
and

they shall devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his
{anger}

is not turned away, but his hand [is] stretched out still.

anger Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their
young

men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for

every one [is] an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth

speaketh folly. For all this his {anger} is not turned away

, but his hand [is] stretched out still.

anger Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh: [and]

they together [shall be] against Judah. For all this his {anger}
is

not turned away, but his hand [is] stretched out still.

anger Without me they shall bow down under the
prisoners,

and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his {anger} is
not

turned away, but his hand [is] stretched out still.

anger O Assyrian, the rod of mine {anger}, and the
staff

in their hand is mine indignation.

anger For yet a very little while, and the
indignation

shall cease, and mine {anger} in their destruction.

anger And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will

praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine {anger} is
turned

away, and thou comfortedst me.

anger I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also

called my mighty ones for mine {anger}, [even] them that rejoice
in

my highness.

anger Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both
with

wrath and fierce {anger}, to lay the land desolate: and he shall

destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

anger Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the
earth

shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts,

and in the day of his fierce {anger}.

anger He who smote the people in wrath with a
continual

stroke, he that ruled the nations in {anger}, is persecuted,
[and]

none hindereth.

anger Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far,

burning [with] his {anger}, and the burden [thereof is] heavy:
his

lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:

anger And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to
be

heard, and shall show the lighting down of his arm, with the

indignation of [his] {anger}, and [with] the flame of a devouring

fire, [with] scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.

anger Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of
his

{anger}, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire

round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid [it]

not to heart.

anger For my name's sake will I defer mine {anger},
and

for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.

anger I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the

people [there was] none with me: for I will tread them in mine

{anger}, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be

sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.

anger And I will tread down the people in mine
{anger},

and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their
strength

to the earth.

anger A people that provoketh me to {anger}
continually

to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon

altars of brick;

anger For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and

with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his {anger} with
fury,

and his rebuke with flames of fire.

anger Yet thou sayest, Because I am innocent, surely
his

{anger} shall turn from me. Behold, I will plead with thee,
because

thou sayest, I have not sinned.

anger Will he reserve [his {anger}] for ever? will he
keep

[it] to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as

thou couldest.

anger Go and proclaim these words toward the north,
and

say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; [and] I
will

not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I [am] merciful, saith

the LORD, [and] I will not keep [{anger}] for ever.

anger Go and proclaim these words toward the north,
and

say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; [and] I
will

not cause mine {anger} to fall upon you: for I [am] merciful,
saith

the LORD, [and] I will not keep [anger] for ever.

anger For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and
howl:

for the fierce {anger} of the LORD is not turned back from us.

anger I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place [was] a

wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the

presence of the LORD, [and] by his fierce {anger}.

anger The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle

the fire, and the women knead [their] dough, to make cakes to the

queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods,

that they may provoke me to {anger}.

anger Do they provoke me to {anger}? saith the LORD:
[do

they] not [provoke] themselves to the confusion of their own
faces?

anger Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine

{anger} and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon
man,

and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the
fruit

of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quen

ched.

anger Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of
my

people because of them that dwell in a far country: [Is] not the

LORD in Zion? [is] not her king in her? Why have they provoked
me to

{anger} with their graven images, [and] with strange v

anities?

anger O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in

thine {anger}, lest thou bring me to nothing.

anger For the LORD of hosts, that planted thee, hath

pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel

and of the house of Judah, which they have done against
themselves

to provoke me to {anger} in offering incense unto Baal.

anger They have sown wheat, but shall reap thorns:
they

have put themselves to pain, [but] shall not profit: and they
shall

be ashamed of your revenues because of the fierce {anger} of the

LORD.

anger And I will make [thee] to pass with thine
enemies

into a land [which] thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in
mine

{anger}, [which] shall burn upon you.

anger And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from

thine heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve

thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have

kindled a fire in mine {anger}, [which] shall burn for ever.

anger Yet, LORD, thou knowest all their counsel
against

me to slay [me]: forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out
their

sin from thy sight, but let them be overthrown before thee; deal

[thus] with them in the time of thine {anger}.

anger And I myself will fight against you with an

outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in {anger}, and in

fury, and in great wrath.

anger The {anger} of the LORD shall not return,
until he

have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his
heart:

in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.

anger And go not after other gods to serve them, and
to

worship them, and provoke me not to {anger} with the works of
your

hands; and I will do you no hurt.

anger Yet ye have not hearkened unto me, saith the
LORD;

that ye might provoke me to {anger} with the works of your hands
to

your own hurt.

anger And the peaceable habitations are cut down
because

of the fierce {anger} of the LORD.

anger He hath forsaken his covert, as the lion: for

their land is desolate because of the fierceness of the
oppressor,

and because of his fierce {anger}.

anger The fierce {anger} of the LORD shall not
return,

until he have done [it], and until he have performed the intents
of

his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it.

anger And the Chaldeans, that fight against this
city,

shall come and set fire on this city, and burn it with the
houses,

upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal, and poured
out

drink offerings unto other gods, to provoke me to {a

nger}.

anger For the children of Israel and the children of

Judah have only done evil before me from their youth: for the

children of Israel have only provoked me to {anger} with the
work of

their hands, saith the LORD.

anger For this city hath been to me [as] a
provocation

of mine {anger} and of my fury from the day that they built it
even

unto this day; that I should remove it from before my face,

anger Because of all the evil of the children of
Israel

and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me
to

{anger}, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and
their

prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants

of Jerusalem.

anger Behold, I will gather them out of all
countries,

whither I have driven them in mine {anger}, and in my fury, and
in

great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I
will

cause them to dwell safely:

anger They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but [it
is]

to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in
mine

{anger} and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid
my

face from this city.

anger It may be they will present their supplication

before the LORD, and will return every one from his evil way: for

great [is] the {anger} and the fury that the LORD hath pronounced

against this people.

anger For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of

Israel; As mine {anger} and my fury hath been poured forth upon
the

inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured forth upon
you,

when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an exec

ration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye

shall see this place no more.

anger Because of their wickedness which they have

committed to provoke me to {anger}, in that they went to burn

incense, [and] to serve other gods, whom they knew not, [neither]

they, ye, nor your fathers.

anger Wherefore my fury and mine {anger} was poured

forth, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets
of

Jerusalem; and they are wasted [and] desolate, as at this day.

anger For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before
their

enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring
evil

upon them, [even] my fierce {anger}, saith the LORD; and I will
send

the sword after them, till I have consumed them:

anger My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and

deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce {anger} of the
LORD.

anger For through the {anger} of the LORD it came to
pass

in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out from his
presence,

that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

anger Is it] nothing to you, all ye that pass by?
behold,

and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done

unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted [me] in the day of his

fierce {anger}.

anger How hath the Lord covered the daughter of Zion
with

a cloud in his anger, [and] cast down from heaven unto the earth
the

beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of
his

{anger}!

anger How hath the Lord covered the daughter of Zion
with

a cloud in his {anger}, [and] cast down from heaven unto the
earth

the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the
day of

his anger!

anger He hath cut off in [his] fierce {anger} all the
horn

of Israel: he hath drawn back his right hand from before the
enemy,

and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, [which]
devoureth

round about.

anger And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle,
as

[if it were of] a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the

assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to
be

forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation o

f his {anger} the king and the priest.

anger The young and the old lie on the ground in the

streets: my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword;
thou

hast slain [them] in the day of thine {anger}; thou hast killed,

[and] not pitied.

anger Thou hast called as in a solemn day my terrors

round about, so that in the day of the LORD'S {anger} none
escaped

nor remained: those that I have swaddled and brought up hath mine

enemy consumed.

anger Thou hast covered with {anger}, and persecuted
us:

thou hast slain, thou hast not pitied.

anger Persecute and destroy them in {anger} from under

the heavens of the LORD.

anger The LORD hath accomplished his fury; he hath
poured

out his fierce {anger}, and hath kindled a fire in Zion, and it
hath

devoured the foundations thereof.

anger The {anger} of the LORD hath divided them; he
will

no more regard them: they respected not the persons of the
priests,

they favoured not the elders.

anger Thus shall mine {anger} be accomplished, and I
will

cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and
they

shall know that I the LORD have spoken [it] in my zeal, when I
have

accomplished my fury in them.

anger So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an

instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that [are] round

about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in {anger}
and in

fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken [it].

anger Now [is] the end [come] upon thee, and I will
send

mine {anger} upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy
ways,

and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.

anger Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee,
and

accomplish mine {anger} upon thee: and I will judge thee
according

to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.

anger Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen [this], O
son

of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they
commit

the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the

land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to

{anger}: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.

anger Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even

rend [it] with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an

overflowing shower in mine {anger}, and great hailstones in [my]

fury to consume [it].

anger Thou hast also committed fornication with the

Egyptians thy neighbours, great of flesh; and hast increased thy

whoredoms, to provoke me to {anger}.

anger But they rebelled against me, and would not
hearken

unto me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of
their

eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: then I said, I

will pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my {a

nger} against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

anger Notwithstanding the children rebelled against
me:

they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do

them, which [if] a man do, he shall even live in them; they
polluted

my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upo

n them, to accomplish my {anger} against them in the wilderness.

anger As] they gather silver, and brass, and iron,
and

lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire
upon

it, to melt [it]; so will I gather [you] in mine {anger} and in
my

fury, and I will leave [you there], and melt you.

anger And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the
hand

of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine

{anger} and according to my fury; and they shall know my
vengeance,

saith the Lord GOD.

anger Therefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I
will

even do according to thine {anger}, and according to thine envy

which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will
make

myself known among them, when I have judged thee.

anger In their setting of their threshold by my

thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me
and

them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations
that

they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine

{anger}.

anger O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I

beseech thee, let thine {anger} and thy fury be turned away from
thy

city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for
the

iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people [a

re become] a reproach to all [that are] about us.

anger Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of

taxes [in] the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he
shall be

destroyed, neither in {anger}, nor in battle.

anger Thy calf, O Samaria, hath cast [thee] off; mine

{anger} is kindled against them: how long [will it be] ere they

attain to innocency?

anger I will not execute the fierceness of mine
{anger},

I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I [am] God, and not
man;

the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the

city.

anger Ephraim provoked [him] to {anger} most
bitterly:

therefore shall he leave his blood upon him, and his reproach
shall

his Lord return unto him.

anger I gave thee a king in mine {anger}, and took
[him]

away in my wrath.

anger I will heal their backsliding, I will love them

freely: for mine {anger} is turned away from him.

anger And rend your heart, and not your garments, and

turn unto the LORD your God: for he [is] gracious and merciful,
slow

to {anger}, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

anger Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of

Edom, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment]
thereof;

because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast
off

all pity, and his {anger} did tear perpetually, and he

kept his wrath for ever:

anger Who can tell [if] God will turn and repent, and
turn

away from his fierce {anger}, that we perish not?

anger And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray
thee,

O LORD, [was] not this my saying, when I was yet in my country?

Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou
[art] a

gracious God, and merciful, slow to {anger}, and of gre

at kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.

anger And I will execute vengeance in {anger} and fury

upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.

anger Who [is] a God like unto thee, that pardoneth

iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his

heritage? he retaineth not his {anger} for ever, because he

delighteth [in] mercy.

anger The LORD [is] slow to {anger}, and great in
power,

and will not at all acquit [the wicked]: the LORD hath his way in

the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds [are] the dust of
his

feet.

anger Who can stand before his indignation? and who can

abide in the fierceness of his {anger}? his fury is poured out
like

fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

anger Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? [was]

thine {anger} against the rivers? [was] thy wrath against the
sea,

that thou didst ride upon thine horses [and] thy chariots of

salvation?

anger Thou didst march through the land in
indignation,

thou didst thresh the heathen in {anger}.

anger Before the decree bring forth, [before] the day
pass

as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you,

before the day of the LORD'S {anger} come upon you.

anger Before the decree bring forth, [before] the day
pass

as the chaff, before the fierce {anger} of the LORD come upon
you,

before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you.

anger Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which

have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it
may

be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S {anger}.

anger Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until
the

day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination [is] to
gather

the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them

mine indignation, [even] all my fierce {anger}: for a

ll the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

anger Mine {anger} was kindled against the shepherds,
and

I punished the goats: for the LORD of hosts hath visited his
flock

the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the

battle.

anger And when he had looked round about on them with

{anger}, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith

unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it] out:

and his hand was restored whole as the other.

anger But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses
saith,

I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are] no people, and]
by

a foolish nation I will {anger} you.

anger Let all bitterness, and wrath, and {anger}, and

clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all
malice:

anger But now ye also put off all these; {anger},
wrath,

malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

anger Fathers, provoke not your children to {anger}],

lest they be discouraged.
