zeruiah <1SA26 -:6> Then answered David and said to Ahimelech the

Hittite, and to Abishai the son of {Zeruiah}, brother to Joab,

saying, Who will go down with me to Saul to the camp? And Abishai

said, I will go down with thee.

zeruiah <2SA2 -:13> And Joab the son of {Zeruiah}, and the

servants

of David, went out, and met together by the pool of Gibeon: and

they

sat down, the one on the one side of the pool, and the other on

the

other side of the pool.

zeruiah <2SA2 -:18> And there were three sons of {Zeruiah} there,

Joab, and Abishai, and Asahel: and Asahel [was as] light of foot

as

a wild roe.

zeruiah <2SA3 -:39> And I [am] this day weak, though anointed

king;

and these men the sons of {Zeruiah} [be] too hard for me: the

LORD

shall reward the doer of evil according to his wickedness.

zeruiah <2SA8 -:16> And Joab the son of {Zeruiah} [was] over the

host; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud [was] recorder;

zeruiah <2SA14 -:1> Now Joab the son of {Zeruiah} perceived that

the

king's heart [was] toward Absalom.

zeruiah <2SA16 -:9> Then said Abishai the son of {Zeruiah} unto

the

king, Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? let me go

over, I pray thee, and take off his head.

zeruiah <2SA16 -:10> And the king said, What have I to do with

you,

ye sons of {Zeruiah}? so let him curse, because the LORD hath

said

unto him, Curse David. Who shall then say, Wherefore hast thou

done

so?

zeruiah <2SA17 -:25> And Absalom made Amasa captain of the host

instead of Joab: which Amasa [was] a man's son, whose name [was]

Ithra an Israelite, that went in to Abigail the daughter of

Nahash,

sister to {Zeruiah} Joab's mother.

zeruiah <2SA18 -:2> And David sent forth a third part of the

people

under the hand of Joab, and a third part under the hand of

Abishai

the son of {Zeruiah}, Joab's brother, and a third part under the

hand of Ittai the Gittite. And the king said unto the p

eople, I will surely go forth with you myself also.

zeruiah <2SA19 -:21> But Abishai the son of {Zeruiah} answered

and

said, Shall not Shimei be put to death for this, because he

cursed

the LORD'S anointed?

zeruiah <2SA19 -:22> And David said, What have I to do with you,

ye

sons of {Zeruiah}, that ye should this day be adversaries unto

me?

shall there any man be put to death this day in Israel? for do

not I

know that I [am] this day king over Israel?

zeruiah <2SA21 -:17> But Abishai the son of {Zeruiah} succoured

him,

and smote the Philistine, and killed him. Then the men of David

sware unto him, saying, Thou shalt go no more out with us to

battle,

that thou quench not the light of Israel.

zeruiah <2SA23 -:18> And Abishai, the brother of Joab, the son of

{Zeruiah}, was chief among three. And he lifted up his spear

against

three hundred, [and] slew [them], and had the name among three.

zeruiah <2SA23 -:37> Zelek the Ammonite, Nahari the Beerothite,

armourbearer to Joab the son of {Zeruiah},

zeruiah <1KI1 -:7> And he conferred with Joab the son of

{Zeruiah},

and with Abiathar the priest: and they following Adonijah helped

[him].

zeruiah <1KI2 -:5> Moreover thou knowest also what Joab the son

of

{Zeruiah} did to me, [and] what he did to the two captains of the

hosts of Israel, unto Abner the son of Ner, and unto Amasa the

son

of Jether, whom he slew, and shed the blood of war in p

eace, and put the blood of war upon his girdle that [was] about

his

loins, and in his shoes that [were] on his feet.

zeruiah <1KI2 -:22> And king Solomon answered and said unto his

mother, And why dost thou ask Abishag the Shunammite for

Adonijah?

ask for him the kingdom also; for he [is] mine elder brother;

even

for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the so

n of {Zeruiah}.

zeruiah <1CH2 -:16> Whose sisters [were] {Zeruiah}, and Abigail.

And

the sons of Zeruiah; Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.

zeruiah <1CH2 -:16> Whose sisters [were] Zeruiah, and Abigail.

And

the sons of {Zeruiah}; Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.

zeruiah <1CH11 -:6> And David said, Whosoever smiteth the

Jebusites

first shall be chief and captain. So Joab the son of {Zeruiah}

went

first up, and was chief.

zeruiah <1CH11 -:39> Zelek the Ammonite, Naharai the Berothite,

the

armourbearer of Joab the son of {Zeruiah},

zeruiah <1CH18 -:12> Moreover Abishai the son of {Zeruiah} slew

of

the Edomites in the valley of salt eighteen thousand.

zeruiah <1CH18 -:15> And Joab the son of {Zeruiah} [was] over the

host; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, recorder.

zeruiah <1CH26 -:28> And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the

son

of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of {Zeruiah},

had dedicated; [and] whosoever had dedicated [any thing, it was]

under the hand of Shelomith, and of his brethren.

zeruiah <1CH27 -:24> Joab the son of {Zeruiah} began to number,

but

he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel;

neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of

king

David.
