children of Israel strove with the LORD, and he was sanctified

in them.

water <NUM20 -17> Let us pass, I pray thee, through thy country:

we will not pass through the fields, or through the vineyards,

neither will we drink [of] the {water} of the wells: we will go

by the king's [high] way, we will not turn to the right hand no

r to the left, until we have passed thy borders.

water <NUM20 -19> And the children of Israel said unto him, We

in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.

water <NUM27 -14> For ye rebelled against my commandment in the

desert of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me

water.

land, a land of brooks of {water}, of fountains and depths that

spring out of valleys and hills;

water <DEU8 -15> Who led thee through that great and terrible

wilderness, [wherein were] fiery serpents, and scorpions, and

drought, where [there was] no {water}; who brought thee forth

water out of the rock of flint;

water <DEU8 -15> Who led thee through that great and terrible

wilderness, [wherein were] fiery serpents, and scorpions, and

drought, where [there was] no water; who brought thee forth

{water} out of the rock of flint;

water <DEU9 -9> When I was gone up into the mount to receive the

tables of stone, [even] the tables of the covenant which the

LORD made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and

forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink {water}:

water <DEU9 -18> And I fell down before the LORD, as at the

first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor

drink {water}, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in

doing wickedly in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

water <DEU11 -4> And what he did unto the army of Egypt, unto

their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the {water} of

the Red sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and

[how] the LORD hath destroyed them unto this day;

water <DEU11 -11> But the land, whither ye go to possess it,

[is] a land of hills and valleys, [and] drinketh {water} of the

rain of heaven:

water <DEU12 -16> Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour

it upon the earth as {water}.

water <DEU12 -24> Thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon

the earth as {water}.

water <DEU15 -23> Only thou shalt not eat the blood thereof;

thou shalt pour it upon the ground as {water}.

water <DEU23 -4> Because they met you not with bread and with

{water} in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because

they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of

Mesopotamia, to curse thee.

water <DEU23 -11> But it shall be, when evening cometh on, he

shall wash [himself] with {water}: and when the sun is down, he

shall come into the camp [again].

water <DEU29 -11> Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger

that [is] in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto the

drawer of thy {water}:

water <JOS2 -10> For we have heard how the LORD dried up the

{water} of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and

what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that [were] on

the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.

water <JOS3 -8> And thou shalt command the priests that bear the

ark of the covenant, saying, When ye are come to the brink of

the {water} of Jordan, ye shall stand still in Jordan.

water <JOS3 -15> And as they that bare the ark were come unto

Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were

dipped in the brim of the {water}, (for Jordan overfloweth all

his banks all the time of harvest,)

water <JOS7 -5> And the men of Ai smote of them about thirty and

six men: for they chased them [from] before the gate [even] unto

Shebarim, and smote them in the going down: wherefore the hearts

of the people melted, and became as {water}.

water <JOS9 -21> And the princes said unto them, Let them live;

but let them be hewers of wood and drawers of {water} unto all

the congregation; as the princes had promised them.

water <JOS9 -23> Now therefore ye [are] cursed, and there shall

none of you be freed from being bondmen, and hewers of wood and

drawers of {water} for the house of my God.

water <JOS9 -27> And Joshua made them that day hewers of wood

and drawers of {water} for the congregation, and for the altar

of the LORD, even unto this day, in the place which he should

choose.

water <JOS15 -9> And the border was drawn from the top of the

hill unto the fountain of the {water} of Nephtoah, and went out

to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to

Baalah, which [is] Kirjathjearim:

water <JOS15 -19> Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou

hast given me a south land; give me also springs of {water}. And

he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs.

water <JOS16 -1> And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from

Jordan by Jericho, unto the {water} of Jericho on the east, to

the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount

Bethel.

water <JUG1 -15> And she said unto him, Give me a blessing: for

thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of {water}.

And Caleb gave her the upper springs and the nether springs.

water <JUG4 -19> And he said unto her, Give me, I pray thee, a

little {water} to drink; for I am thirsty. And she opened a

bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him.

water <JUG5 -4> LORD, when thou wentest out of Seir, when thou

marchedst out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the

heavens dropped, the clouds also dropped {water}.

water <JUG5 -11> [They that are delivered] from the noise of

archers in the places of drawing {water}, there shall they

rehearse the righteous acts of the LORD, [even] the righteous

acts [toward the inhabitants] of his villages in Israel: then

shall the p

eople of the LORD go down to the gates.

water <JUG5 -25> He asked {water}, [and] she gave [him] milk;

she brought forth butter in a lordly dish.

water <JUG6 -38> And it was so: for he rose up early on the

morrow, and thrust the fleece together, and wringed the dew out

of the fleece, a bowl full of {water}.

water <JUG7 -4> And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people [are]

yet [too] many; bring them down unto the {water}, and I will try

them for thee there: and it shall be, [that] of whom I say unto

thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; an

d of whomsoever I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee,

the same shall not go.

water <JUG7 -5> So he brought down the people unto the water:

and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the

{water} with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by

himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to

drin

k.

water <JUG7 -5> So he brought down the people unto the {water}:

and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the

water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by

himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to

drin

k.

water <JUG7 -6> And the number of them that lapped, [putting]

their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the

rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink {water}.

water <JUG15 -19> But God clave an hollow place that [was] in

the jaw, and there came {water} thereout; and when he had drunk,

his spirit came again, and he revived: wherefore he called the

name thereof Enhakkore, which [is] in Lehi unto this day.

water <1SA7 -6> And they gathered together to Mizpeh, and drew

{water}, and poured [it] out before the LORD, and fasted on that

day, and said there, We have sinned against the LORD. And Samuel

judged the children of Israel in Mizpeh.

water <1SA9 -11> And] as they went up the hill to the city, they

found young maidens going out to draw {water}, and said unto

them, Is the seer here?

water <1SA25 -11> Shall I then take my bread, and my {water},

and my flesh that I have killed for my shearers, and give [it]

unto men, whom I know not whence they [be]?

water <1SA26 -11> The LORD forbid that I should stretch forth

mine hand against the LORD'S anointed: but, I pray thee, take

thou now the spear that [is] at his bolster, and the cruse of

{water}, and let us go.

water <1SA26 -12> So David took the spear and the cruse of

{water} from Saul's bolster; and they gat them away, and no man

saw [it], nor knew [it], neither awaked: for they [were] all

asleep; because a deep sleep from the LORD was fallen upon them.

water <1SA26 -16> This thing [is] not good that thou hast done.

[As] the LORD liveth, ye [are] worthy to die, because ye have

not kept your master, the LORD'S anointed. And now see where the

king's spear [is], and the cruse of {water} that [was] at his bo

lster.

water <1SA30 -11> And they found an Egyptian in the field, and

brought him to David, and gave him bread, and he did eat; and

they made him drink {water};

water <1SA30 -12> And they gave him a piece of a cake of figs,

and two clusters of raisins: and when he had eaten, his spirit

came again to him: for he had eaten no bread, nor drunk [any]

{water}, three days and three nights.

water <2SA14 -14> For we must needs die, and [are] as {water}

spilled on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again;

neither doth God respect [any] person: yet doth he devise means,

that his banished be not expelled from him.

water <2SA17 -20> And when Absalom's servants came to the woman

to the house, they said, Where [is] Ahimaaz and Jonathan? And

the woman said unto them, They be gone over the brook of {water}.

And when they had sought and could not find [them], they return

ed to Jerusalem.

water <2SA17 -21> And it came to pass, after they were departed,

that they came up out of the well, and went and told king David,

and said unto David, Arise, and pass quickly over the {water}:

for thus hath Ahithophel counselled against you.

water <2SA21 -10> And Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth,

and spread it for her upon the rock, from the beginning of

harvest until {water} dropped upon them out of heaven, and

suffered neither the birds of the air to rest on them by day,

nor the b

easts of the field by night.

water <2SA23 -15> And David longed, and said, Oh that one would

give me drink of the {water} of the well of Bethlehem, which

[is] by the gate!

water <2SA23 -16> And the three mighty men brake through the

host of the Philistines, and drew {water} out of the well of

Bethlehem, that [was] by the gate, and took [it], and brought

[it] to David: nevertheless he would not drink thereof, but

poured it o

ut unto the LORD.

water <1KI13 -8> And the man of God said unto the king, If thou

wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee,

neither will I eat bread nor drink {water} in this place:

water <1KI13 -9> For so was it charged me by the word of the

LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink {water}, nor turn again by

the same way that thou camest.

water <1KI13 -16> And he said, I may not return with thee, nor

go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink {water} with

thee in this place:

water <1KI13 -17> For it was said to me by the word of the LORD,

Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink {water} there, nor turn again

to go by the way that thou camest.

water <1KI13 -18> He said unto him, I [am] a prophet also as

thou [art]; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD,

saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may

eat bread and drink {water}. [But] he lied unto him.

water <1KI13 -19> So he went back with him, and did eat bread in

his house, and drank {water}.

water <1KI13 -22> But camest back, and hast eaten bread and

drunk {water} in the place, of the which [the LORD] did say to

thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not

come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.

water <1KI13 -22> But camest back, and hast eaten bread and

drunk water in the place, of the which [the LORD] did say to

thee, Eat no bread, and drink no {water}; thy carcase shall not

come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.

water <1KI14 -15> For the LORD shall smite Israel, as a reed is

shaken in the {water}, and he shall root up Israel out of this

good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter

them beyond the river, because they have made their groves,

provoki

ng the LORD to anger.

water <1KI17 -10> So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he

came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman [was]

there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch

me, I pray thee, a little {water} in a vessel, that I may drink.

water <1KI18 -4> For it was [so], when Jezebel cut off the

prophets of the LORD, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and

hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and {water}.

)

water <1KI18 -5> And Ahab said unto Obadiah, Go into the land,

unto all fountains of {water}, and unto all brooks: peradventure

we may find grass to save the horses and mules alive, that we

lose not all the beasts.

water <1KI18 -13> Was it not told my lord what I did when

Jezebel slew the prophets of the LORD, how I hid an hundred men

of the LORD's prophets by fifty in a cave, and fed them with

bread and {water}?

water <1KI18 -33> And he put the wood in order, and cut the

bullock in pieces, and laid [him] on the wood, and said, Fill

four barrels with {water}, and pour [it] on the burnt sacrifice,

and on the wood.

water <1KI18 -35> And the {water} ran round about the altar; and

he filled the trench also with water.

water <1KI18 -35> And the water ran round about the altar; and

he filled the trench also with {water}.

water <1KI18 -38> Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed

the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust,

and licked up the {water} that [was] in the trench.

water <1KI19 -6> And he looked, and, behold, [there was] a cake

baken on the coals, and a cruse of {water} at his head. And he

did eat and drink, and laid him down again.

water <1KI22 -27> And say, Thus saith the king, Put this

[fellow] in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction

and with {water} of affliction, until I come in peace.

water <2KI2 -19> And the men of the city said unto Elisha,

Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city [is] pleasant,

as my lord seeth: but the {water} [is] nought, and the ground

barren.

water <2KI3 -9> So the king of Israel went, and the king of

Judah, and the king of Edom: and they fetched a compass of seven

days' journey: and there was no {water} for the host, and for

the cattle that followed them.

water <2KI3 -11> But Jehoshaphat said, [Is there] not here a

prophet of the LORD, that we may inquire of the LORD by him? And

one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, Here

[is] Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured {water} on the

hands of

 Elijah.

water <2KI3 -17> For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind,

neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with

{water}, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your

beasts.

water <2KI3 -19> And ye shall smite every fenced city, and every

choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all wells

of {water}, and mar every good piece of land with stones.

water <2KI3 -20> And it came to pass in the morning, when the

meat offering was offered, that, behold, there came {water} by

the way of Edom, and the country was filled with water.

water <2KI3 -20> And it came to pass in the morning, when the

meat offering was offered, that, behold, there came water by the

way of Edom, and the country was filled with {water}.

water <2KI3 -22> And they rose up early in the morning, and the

sun shone upon the {water}, and the Moabites saw the water on

the other side [as] red as blood:

water <2KI3 -22> And they rose up early in the morning, and the

sun shone upon the water, and the Moabites saw the {water} on

the other side [as] red as blood:

water <2KI3 -25> And they beat down the cities, and on every

good piece of land cast every man his stone, and filled it; and

they stopped all the wells of {water}, and felled all the good

trees: only in Kirharaseth left they the stones thereof; howbeit

th

e slingers went about [it], and smote it.

water <2KI6 -5> But as one was felling a beam, the ax head fell

into the {water}: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it

was borrowed.

water <2KI6 -22> And he answered, Thou shalt not smite [them]:

wouldest thou smite those whom thou hast taken captive with thy

sword and with thy bow? set bread and {water} before them, that

they may eat and drink, and go to their master.

water <2KI8 -15> And it came to pass on the morrow, that he took

a thick cloth, and dipped [it] in {water}, and spread [it] on

his face, so that he died: and Hazael reigned in his stead.

water <2KI20 -20> And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all

his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought

{water} into the city, [are] they not written in the book of the

chronicles of the kings of Judah?

water <1CH11 -17> And David longed, and said, Oh that one would

give me drink of the {water} of the well of Bethlehem, that [is]

at the gate!

water <1CH11 -18> And the three brake through the host of the

Philistines, and drew {water} out of the well of Bethlehem, that

[was] by the gate, and took [it], and brought [it] to David: but

David would not drink [of] it, but poured it out to the LORD,

water <2CH18 -26> And say, Thus saith the king, Put this

[fellow] in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction

and with {water} of affliction, until I return in peace.

water <2CH32 -4> So there was gathered much people together, who

stopped all the fountains, and the brook that ran through the

midst of the land, saying, Why should the kings of Assyria come,

and find much {water}?

water <EZR10 -6> Then Ezra rose up from before the house of God,

and went into the chamber of Johanan the son of Eliashib: and

[when] he came thither, he did eat no bread, nor drink {water}:

for he mourned because of the transgression of them that had bee

n carried away.

water <NEH3 -26> Moreover the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel, unto

[the place] over against the {water} gate toward the east, and

the tower that lieth out.

water <NEH8 -1> And all the people gathered themselves together

as one man into the street that [was] before the {water} gate;

and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law

of Moses, which the LORD had commanded to Israel.

water <NEH8 -3> And he read therein before the street that [was]

before the {water} gate from the morning until midday, before

the men and the women, and those that could understand; and the

ears of all the people [were attentive] unto the book of the law

.

water <NEH8 -16> So the people went forth, and brought [them],

and made themselves booths, every one upon the roof of his house,

and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of God, and

in the street of the {water} gate, and in the street of the ga

te of Ephraim.

water <NEH9 -15> And gavest them bread from heaven for their

hunger, and broughtest forth {water} for them out of the rock

for their thirst, and promisedst them that they should go in to

possess the land which thou hadst sworn to give them.

water <NEH9 -20> Thou gavest also thy good spirit to instruct

them, and withheldest not thy manna from their mouth, and gavest

them {water} for their thirst.

water <NEH12 -37> And at the fountain gate, which was over

against them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David,

at the going up of the wall, above the house of David, even unto

the {water} gate eastward.

water <NEH13 -2> Because they met not the children of Israel

with bread and with {water}, but hired Balaam against them, that

he should curse them: howbeit our God turned the curse into a

blessing.

water <JOB8 -11> Can the rush grow up without mire? can the flag

grow without {water}?

hands never so clean;

water <JOB14 -9> Yet] through the scent of {water} it will bud,

and bring forth boughs like a plant.

water <JOB15 -16> How much more abominable and filthy [is] man,

which drinketh iniquity like {water}?

water <JOB22 -7> Thou hast not given {water} to the weary to

drink, and thou hast withholden bread from the hungry.

water <JOB34 -7> What man [is] like Job, [who] drinketh up

scorning like {water}?

water <JOB36 -27> For he maketh small the drops of {water}: they

pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:

water <PSA1 -3> And he shall be like a tree planted by the

rivers of {water}, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;

his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall

prosper.

water <PSA6 -6> I am weary with my groaning; all the night make

I my bed to swim; I {water} my couch with my tears.

water <PSA22 -14> I am poured out like {water}, and all my bones

are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the

midst of my bowels.

water <PSA42 -1> To the chief Musician, Maschil, for the sons of

Korah. As the hart panteth after the {water} brooks, so panteth

my soul after thee, O God.

water <PSA63 -1> A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness

of Judah. O God, thou [art] my God; early will I seek thee: my

soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and

thirsty land, where no {water} is;

water <PSA65 -9> Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou

greatly enrichest it with the river of God, [which] is full of

{water}: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided

for it.

water <PSA66 -12> Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads;

we went through fire and through {water}: but thou broughtest us

out into a wealthy [place].

water <PSA72 -6> He shall come down like rain upon the mown

grass: as showers [that] {water} the earth.

water <PSA77 -17> The clouds poured out {water}: the skies sent

out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.

water <PSA79 -3> Their blood have they shed like {water} round

about Jerusalem; and [there was] none to bury [them].

water <PSA88 -17> They came round about me daily like {water};

they compassed me about together.

water <PSA107 -35> He turneth the wilderness into a standing

{water}, and dry ground into watersprings.

water <PSA109 -18> As he clothed himself with cursing like as

with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like {water},

and like oil into his bones.

water <PSA114 -8> Which turned the rock [into] a standing

{water}, the flint into a fountain of waters.

water <PRO8 -24> When [there were] no depths, I was brought

forth; when [there were] no fountains abounding with {water}.

water <PRO17 -14> The beginning of strife [is as] when one

letteth out {water}: therefore leave off contention, before it

be meddled with.

water <PRO20 -5> Counsel in the heart of man [is like] deep

{water}; but a man of understanding will draw it out.

water <PRO21 -1> The king's heart [is] in the hand of the LORD,

[as] the rivers of {water}: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

water <PRO25 -21> If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to

eat; and if he be thirsty, give him {water} to drink:

water <PRO27 -19> As in {water} face [answereth] to face, so the

heart of man to man.

water <PRO30 -16> The grave; and the barren womb; the earth

[that] is not filled with {water}; and the fire [that] saith not,

 [It is] enough.

water <ECC2 -6> I made me pools of water, to {water} therewith

the wood that bringeth forth trees:

water <ECC2 -6> I made me pools of {water}, to water therewith

the wood that bringeth forth trees:

water <ISA1 -22> Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with

{water}:

water <ISA1 -30> For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth,

and as a garden that hath no {water}.

water <ISA3 -1> For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth

take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff,

the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of {water}.

water <ISA12 -3> Therefore with joy shall ye draw {water} out of

the wells of salvation.

water <ISA14 -23> I will also make it a possession for the

bittern, and pools of {water}: and I will sweep it with the

besom of destruction, saith the LORD of hosts.

water <ISA16 -9> Therefore I will bewail with the weeping of

Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will {water} thee with my tears, O

Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the shouting for thy summer fruits and

for thy harvest is fallen.

water <ISA21 -14> The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought

{water} to him that was thirsty, they prevented with their bread

him that fled.

water <ISA22 -11> Ye made also a ditch between the two walls for

the {water} of the old pool: but ye have not looked unto the

maker thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it

long ago.

water <ISA27 -3> I the LORD do keep it; I will {water} it every

moment: lest [any] hurt it, I will keep it night and day.

water <ISA30 -14> And he shall break it as the breaking of the

potters' vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so

that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to

take fire from the hearth, or to take {water} [withal] out of th

e pit.

water <ISA30 -20> And [though] the Lord give you the bread of

adversity, and the {water} of affliction, yet shall not thy

teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall

water <ISA32 -2> And a man shall be as an hiding place from the

wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of {water} in a

dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.

water <ISA35 -7> And the parched ground shall become a pool, and

the thirsty land springs of {water}: in the habitation of

dragons, where each lay, [shall be] grass with reeds and rushes.

water <ISA37 -25> I have digged, and drunk {water}; and with the

sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of the besieged

places.

water <ISA41 -17> When] the poor and needy seek {water}, and

[there is] none, [and] their tongue faileth for thirst, I the

LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.

water <ISA41 -18> I will open rivers in high places, and

fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the

wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of {water}.

water <ISA41 -18> I will open rivers in high places, and

fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the

wilderness a pool of {water}, and the dry land springs of water.

water <ISA49 -10> They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither

shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on

them shall lead them, even by the springs of {water} shall he

guide them.

water <ISA50 -2> Wherefore, when I came, [was there] no man?

when I called, [was there] none to answer? Is my hand shortened

at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver?

behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a

wildernes

s: their fish stinketh, because [there is] no {water}, and dieth

for thirst.

water <JER8 -14> Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and

let us enter into the defenced cities, and let us be silent

{water} of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the

water <EZE32 -6> I will also {water} with thy blood the land

wherein thou swimmest, [even] to the mountains; and the rivers

water <MAT3 -16> And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up

straightway out of the {water}: and, lo, the heavens were opened

unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove,

and lighting upon him:

me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have

given thee living {water}.

water <JOH4 -11> The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast

nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then

hast thou that living {water}?

water <JOH4 -13> Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever

drinketh of this {water} shall thirst again:

water <JOH4 -14> But whosoever drinketh of the {water} that I

shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall

give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into
