refuge <NUM35 -6> And among the cities which ye shall give unto
the
Levites [there shall be] six cities for {refuge}, which ye shall
appoint for the manslayer, that he may flee thither: and to them
ye
shall add forty and two cities.
refuge <NUM35 -11> Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities
of
{refuge} for you; that the slayer may flee thither, which killeth
any person at unawares.
refuge <NUM35 -12> And they shall be unto you cities for {refuge}
from the avenger; that the manslayer die not, until he stand
before
the congregation in judgment.
refuge <NUM35 -13> And of these cities which ye shall give six
cities shall ye have for {refuge}.
refuge <NUM35 -14> Ye shall give three cities on this side
Jordan,
and three cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan, [which]
shall
be cities of {refuge}.
refuge <NUM35 -15> These six cities shall be a {refuge}, [both]
for
the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the
sojourner
among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may
flee
thither.
refuge <NUM35 -25> And the congregation shall deliver the slayer
out
of the hand of the revenger of blood, and the congregation shall
restore him to the city of his {refuge}, whither he was fled:
and he
shall abide in it unto the death of the high priest,
which was anointed with the holy oil.
refuge <NUM35 -26> But if the slayer shall at any time come
without
the border of the city of his {refuge}, whither he was fled;
refuge <NUM35 -27> And the revenger of blood find him without the
borders of the city of his {refuge}, and the revenger of blood
kill
the slayer; he shall not be guilty of blood:
refuge <NUM35 -28> Because he should have remained in the city of
his {refuge} until the death of the high priest: but after the
death
of the high priest the slayer shall return into the land of his
possession.
refuge <NUM35 -32> And ye shall take no satisfaction for him
that is
fled to the city of his {refuge}, that he should come again to
dwell
in the land, until the death of the priest.
refuge <DEU33 -27> The eternal God [is thy] {refuge}, and
underneath
[are] the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy
from
before thee; and shall say, Destroy [them].
refuge <JOS20 -2> Speak to the children of Israel, saying,
Appoint
out for you cities of {refuge}, whereof I spake unto you by the
hand
of Moses:
refuge <JOS20 -3> That the slayer that killeth [any] person
unawares
[and] unwittingly may flee thither: and they shall be your
{refuge}
from the avenger of blood.
refuge <JOS21 -13> Thus they gave to the children of Aaron the
priest Hebron with her suburbs, [to be] a city of {refuge} for
the
slayer; and Libnah with her suburbs,
refuge <JOS21 -21> For they gave them Shechem with her suburbs in
mount Ephraim, [to be] a city of {refuge} for the slayer; and
Gezer
with her suburbs,
refuge <JOS21 -27> And unto the children of Gershon, of the
families
of the Levites, out of the [other] half tribe of Manasseh [they
gave] Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, [to be] a city of
{refuge}
for the slayer; and Beeshterah with her suburbs; two ci
ties.
refuge <JOS21 -32> And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in
Galilee with her suburbs, [to be] a city of {refuge} for the
slayer;
and Hammothdor with her suburbs, and Kartan with her suburbs;
three
cities.
refuge <JOS21 -38> And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead
with her suburbs, [to be] a city of {refuge} for the slayer; and
Mahanaim with her suburbs,
refuge <2SA22 -3> The God of my rock; in him will I trust: [he
is]
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my
{refuge}, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
refuge <1CH6 -57> And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities
of
Judah, [namely], Hebron, [the city] of {refuge}, and Libnah with
her
suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa, with their suburbs,
refuge <1CH6 -67> And they gave unto them, [of] the cities of
{refuge}, Shechem in mount Ephraim with her suburbs; [they gave]
also Gezer with her suburbs,
refuge <PSA9 -9> The LORD also will be a refuge for the
oppressed, a
{refuge} in times of trouble.
refuge <PSA9 -9> The LORD also will be a {refuge} for the
oppressed,
a refuge in times of trouble.
refuge <PSA14 -6> Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because
the LORD [is] his {refuge}.
refuge <PSA46 -1> To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A
Song upon Alamoth. God [is] our {refuge} and strength, a very
present help in trouble.
refuge <PSA46 -7> The LORD of hosts [is] with us; the God of
Jacob
[is] our {refuge}. Selah.
refuge <PSA46 -11> The LORD of hosts [is] with us; the God of
Jacob
[is] our {refuge}. Selah.
refuge <PSA48 -3> God is known in her palaces for a {refuge}.
refuge <PSA57 -1> To the chief Musician, Altaschith, Michtam of
David, when he fled from Saul in the cave. Be merciful unto me, O
God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in
the
shadow of thy wings will I make my {refuge}, until [these
] calamities be overpast.
refuge <PSA59 -16> But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing
aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence
and
{refuge} in the day of my trouble.
refuge <PSA62 -7> In God [is] my salvation and my glory: the
rock of
my strength, [and] my {refuge}, [is] in God.
refuge <PSA62 -8> Trust in him at all times; [ye] people, pour
out
your heart before him: God [is] a {refuge} for us. Selah.
refuge <PSA71 -7> I am as a wonder unto many; but thou [art] my
strong {refuge}.
refuge <PSA91 -2> I will say of the LORD, [He is] my {refuge}
and my
fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
refuge <PSA91 -9> Because thou hast made the LORD, [which is] my
{refuge}, [even] the most High, thy habitation;
refuge <PSA94 -22> But the LORD is my defence; and my God [is]
the
rock of my {refuge}.
refuge <PSA104 -18> The high hills [are] a {refuge} for the wild
goats; [and] the rocks for the conies.
refuge <PSA142 -4> I looked on [my] right hand, and beheld, but
[there was] no man that would know me: {refuge} failed me; no man
cared for my soul.
refuge <PSA142 -5> I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou [art]
my
{refuge} [and] my portion in the land of the living.
refuge <PRO14 -26> In the fear of the LORD [is] strong
confidence:
and his children shall have a place of {refuge}.
refuge <ISA4 -6> And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in
the
daytime from the heat, and for a place of {refuge}, and for a
covert
from storm and from rain.
refuge <ISA25 -4> For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a
strength to the needy in his distress, a {refuge} from the storm,
a
shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones [is]
as a
storm [against] the wall.
refuge <ISA28 -15> Because ye have said, We have made a covenant
with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the
overflowing
scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we
have
made lies our {refuge}, and under falsehood have we hid
ourselves:
refuge <ISA28 -17> Judgment also will I lay to the line, and
righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the
{refuge} of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
refuge <JER16 -19> O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my
{refuge} in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto
thee
from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers
have
inherited lies, vanity, and [things] wherein [there is]
no profit.
refuge <HEB6 -18> That by two immutable things, in which it was]
impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation,
who
have fled for {refuge} to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
