Amorites, which [were] on the side of Jordan westward, and all
the kings of the Canaanites, which [were] by the sea, heard that
the LORD had dried up the waters of Jordan from before the chil
dren of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart
melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of
the children of Israel.

circumcising all the people, that they abode in their places in
the camp, till they were whole.

Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold,

compass the city, and let him that is armed pass on before the

Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.

shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up

they come out against us, as at the first, that we will flee

end of slaying all the inhabitants of Ai in the field, in the
wilderness wherein they chased them, and when they were all
fallen on the edge of the sword, until they were consumed, that

e Israelites returned unto Ai, and smote it with the edge of the
sword.

[were] on this side Jordan, in the hills, and in the valleys,
and in all the coasts of the great sea over against Lebanon, the

cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and

children of Israel had made an end of slaying them with a very
great slaughter, till they were consumed, that the rest [which]
remained of them entered into fenced cities.

those kings unto Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of
Israel, and said unto the captains of the men of war which went
with him, Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings.

down of the sun, [that] Joshua commanded, and they took them
down off the trees, and cast them into the cave wherein they had
been hid, and laid great stones in the cave's mouth, [which remai

had heard [those things], that he sent to Jobab king of Madon,

off [her] ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou?
pass <JOS17 -13> Yet it came to {pass}, when the children of
Israel were waxen strong, that they put the Canaanites to
tribute; but did not utterly drive them out.
pass <JOS21 -45> There failed not ought of any good thing which
the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to {pass}.

about, that Joshua waxed old [and] stricken in age.

have opened my mouth unto the LORD, and I cannot go back.

to his vow which he had vowed: and she knew no man. And it was a
custom in Israel,

that is left in thine house shall come [and] crouch to him for a
piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I
pray thee, into one of the priests' offices, that I may eat a pi
ece of bread.
pass <1SA3 -2> And it came to {pass} at that time, when Eli
[was] laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim,
[that] he could not see;
pass <1SA4 -18> And it came to {pass}, when he made mention of
the ark of God, that he fell from off the seat backward by the
side of the gate, and his neck brake, and he died: for he was an
old man, and heavy. And he had judged Israel forty years.
pass <1SA5 -10> Therefore they sent the ark of God to Ekron. And
it came to {pass}, as the ark of God came to Ekron, that the
Ekronites cried out, saying, They have brought about the ark of
the God of Israel to us, to slay us and our people.
pass <1SA7 -2> And it came to {pass}, while the ark abode in
Kirjathjearim, that the time was long; for it was twenty years:
and all the house of Israel lamented after the LORD.
pass <1SA8 -1> And it came to {pass}, when Samuel was old, that
he made his sons judges over Israel.
pass <1SA9 -6> And he said unto him, Behold now, [there is] in
this city a man of God, and [he is] an honourable man; all that
he saith cometh surely to {pass}: now let us go thither;
peradventure he can show us our way that we should go.
pass <1SA9 -26> And they arose early: and it came to {pass}
about the spring of the day, that Samuel called Saul to the top
of the house, saying, Up, that I may send thee away. And Saul
arose, and they went out both of them, he and Samuel, abroad.
pass <1SA9 -27> And] as they were going down to the end of the
city, Samuel said to Saul, Bid the servant {pass} on before us,
(and he passed on,) but stand thou still a while, that I may
show thee the word of God.

with Jonathan his son was there found.

Come, and let us go over to the Philistines' garrison, that [is]

he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD's anointed [is]
before him.

before Samuel. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this.

before Samuel. And Samuel said unto Jesse, The LORD hath not
chosen these.
pass <1SA16 -16> Let our lord now command thy servants, [which
are] before thee, to seek out a man, [who is] a cunning player
on an harp: and it shall come to {pass}, when the evil spirit
from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and

from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with

spirit departed from him.

Go, show thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth.

gone from thee, that the spirit of the LORD shall carry thee

pass <1KI21 -15> And it came to {pass}, when Jezebel heard that
Naboth was stoned, and was dead, that Jezebel said to Ahab,
Arise, take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite,
which he refused to give thee for money: for Naboth is not alive,
but dead.

Naboth was dead, that Ahab rose up to go down to the vineyard of

God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me
to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you,
and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me.

saying, Beware that thou {pass} not such a place; for thither
the Syrians are come down.

about this time in the gate of Samaria:

that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines: and
she went forth to cry unto the king for her house and for her
land.

whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her
house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this
[is] the woman, and this [is] her son, whom Elisha restored to
life.

took a thick cloth, and dipped [it] in water, and spread [it] on
his face, so that he died: and Hazael reigned in his stead.

long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts

against Samaria, and besieged it.

[it], that he rent his clothes, and covered himself with
sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD.
pass <2KI19 -25> Hast thou not heard long ago [how] I have done
it, [and] of ancient times that I have formed it? now have I
brought it to {pass}, that thou shouldest be to lay waste fenced
cities [into] ruinous heaps.

angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the
Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they

pass <ISA28 -19> From the time that it goeth forth it shall take
you: for morning by morning shall it {pass} over, by day and by
night: and it shall be a vexation only [to] understand the
report.

at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to
Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,

from them, and had launched, we came with a straight course unto
Coos, and the day] following unto Rhodes, and from thence unto
Patara:
pass <ACT22 -6> And it came to {pass}, that, as I made my

there shone from heaven a great light round about me.
