jeroboam <1KI11 -26> And {Jeroboam} the son of Nebat, an

Ephrathite

of Zereda, Solomon's servant, whose mother's name [was] Zeruah, a

widow woman, even he lifted up [his] hand against the king.

and dwelt therein; and went out from thence, and built Penuel.

month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast

sacrificing unto the calves that he had made: and he p

laced in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made.

Judah by the word of the LORD unto Bethel: and {Jeroboam} stood

by

the altar to burn incense.

his evil way, but made again of the lowest of the people priests

the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he

house, even for all the evil that he did in the sight of the

[even]

with the kings of Israel; and Zachariah his son reigned in his

stead.

king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to

reign.

king of

Judah did Zachariah the son of {Jeroboam} reign over Israel in

Samaria six months.

Gibeah.

[is] in mount Ephraim, and said, Hear me, thou {Jeroboam}, and

Israel;

jeroboam <2CH13 -6> Yet {Jeroboam} the son of Nebat, the servant

Solomon the son of David, is risen up, and hath rebelled against

his

lord.

jeroboam <2CH13 -8> And now ye think to withstand the kingdom of

the

LORD in the hand of the sons of David; and ye [be] a great

multitude, and [there are] with you golden calves, which

{Jeroboam}

made you for gods.

jeroboam <2CH13 -13> But {Jeroboam} caused an ambushment to come

about behind them: so they were before Judah, and the ambushment

[was] behind them.

jeroboam <2CH13 -15> Then the men of Judah gave a shout: and as

the

men of Judah shouted, it came to pass, that God smote {Jeroboam}

and

all Israel before Abijah and Judah.

jeroboam <2CH13 -19> And Abijah pursued after {Jeroboam}, and

took

cities from him, Bethel with the towns thereof, and Jeshanah with

the towns thereof, and Ephrain with the towns thereof.

jeroboam <2CH13 -20> Neither did {Jeroboam} recover strength

again

in the days of Abijah: and the LORD struck him, and he died.

jeroboam <HOS1 -1> The word of the LORD that came unto Hosea, the

kings of Judah, and in the days of {Jeroboam} the son of Joash,

of Israel.

in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear

all his words.
