gilead <GEN31 -21> So he fled with all that he had; and he rose
up,
and passed over the river, and set his face [toward] the mount
{Gilead}.

after him seven days' journey; and they overtook him in the mount
{Gilead}.

gilead <NUM32 -1> Now the children of Reuben and the children of
Gad
had a very great multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land
of
Jazer, and the land of {Gilead}, that, behold, the place [was] a
place for cattle;

our cattle, shall be there in the cities of {Gilead}:

and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every

before you; then ye shall give them the land of {Gilea
d} for a possession:

went to {Gilead}, and took it, and dispossessed the Amorite which
[was] in it.
gilead <NUM32 -40> And Moses gave {Gilead} unto Machir the son of
Manasseh; and he dwelt therein.
gilead <NUM36 -1> And the chief fathers of the families of the
children of {Gilead}, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of
the
families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spake before
Moses,
and before the princes, the chief fathers of the childre
n of Israel:
gilead <DEU2 -36> From Aroer, which [is] by the brink of the
river
of Arnon, and [from] the city that [is] by the river, even unto
{Gilead}, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our
God
delivered all unto us:
gilead <DEU3 -10> All the cities of the plain, and all {Gilead},
and
all Bashan, unto Salchah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og
in
Bashan.
gilead <DEU3 -12> And this land, [which] we possessed at that
time,
from Aroer, which [is] by the river Arnon, and half mount
{Gilead},
and the cities thereof, gave I unto the Reubenites and to the
Gadites.
gilead <DEU3 -13> And the rest of {Gilead}, and all Bashan,
[being]
the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh; all
the
region of Argob, with all Bashan, which was called the land of
giants.
gilead <DEU3 -15> And I gave {Gilead} unto Machir.
gilead <DEU3 -16> And unto the Reubenites and unto the Gadites I
gave from {Gilead} even unto the river Arnon half the valley, and
the border even unto the river Jabbok, [which is] the border of
the
children of Ammon;
gilead <DEU4 -43> Namely], Bezer in the wilderness, in the plain
country, of the Reubenites; and Ramoth in {Gilead}, of the
Gadites;
and Golan in Bashan, of the Manassites.
gilead <DEU34 -1> And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto
the
mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that [is] over against
Jericho. And the LORD showed him all the land of {Gilead}, unto
Dan,
gilead <JOS12 -2> Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in
Heshbon,
[and] ruled from Aroer, which [is] upon the bank of the river
Arnon,
and from the middle of the river, and from half {Gilead}, even
unto
the river Jabbok, [which is] the border of the chi

cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, [were pertaining] unto the
children of Machir the son of Manasseh, [even] to the one half of
the children of Machir by their families.

for he [was] the firstborn of Joseph; [to wit], for Machir the
firstborn of Manasseh, the father of Gilead: because he was a
man of
war, therefore he had {Gilead} and Bashan.

land of {Gilead}.
gilead <JOS20 -8> And on the other side Jordan by Jericho
eastward,
they assigned Bezer in the wilderness upon the plain out of the
tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in {Gilead} out of the tribe of Gad,
and
Golan in Bashan out of the tribe of Manasseh.
gilead <JOS21 -38> And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in
{Gilead}
with her suburbs, [to be] a city of refuge for the slayer; and
Mahanaim with her suburbs,

children of Israel out of Shiloh, which [is] in the land of
Canaan,
to go unto the country of {Gilead}, to the land of thei
r possession, whereof they were possessed, according to the word

the LORD by the hand of Moses.

people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thou
sand.

to another, What man [is he] that will begin to fight against the
children of Ammon? he shall be head over all the inhabitants of
{Gilead}.

not ye hate me, and expel me out of my father's house? and why

ye come unto me now when ye are in distress?
gilead <JUG11 -8> And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah,
Therefore we turn again to thee now, that thou mayest go with us,
and fight against the children of Ammon, and be our head over all
the inhabitants of {Gilead}.

and the people made him head and captain over them: and Jephthah
uttered all his words before the LORD in Mizpeh.
gilead <JUG11 -29> Then the spirit of the LORD came upon
Jephthah,
and he passed over {Gilead}, and Manasseh, and passed over
Mizpeh of
Gilead, and from Mizpeh of Gilead he passed over [unto] the
children
of Ammon.

possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and
Benjamin [shall possess] {Gilead}.
gilead <MIC7 -14> Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of
thine
heritage, which dwell solitarily [in] the wood, in the midst of
Carmel: let them feed [in] Bashan and {Gilead}, as in the days of
old.
gilead <ZEC10 -10> I will bring them again also out of the land
of
Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into
the land of {Gilead} and Lebanon; and [place] shall not be found
for
them.
