Ezra 1Ch_04_17 And the sons of {Ezra} [were], Jether, and Mered, and Epher, and Jalon: and she bare Miriam, and Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa.
Ezra Ezr_07_01 Now after these things, in the reign of Artaxerxes king of Persia, {Ezra} the son of Seraiah, the son of Azariah, the son of Hilkiah,
Ezra Ezr_07_06 This {Ezra} went up from Babylon; and he [was] a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the LORD his God upon him.
Ezra Ezr_07_10 For {Ezra} had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do [it], and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.
Ezra Ezr_07_11 Now this [is] the copy of the letter that the king Artaxerxes gave unto {Ezra} the priest, the scribe, [even] a scribe of the words of the commandments of the LORD, and of his statutes to Israel.
Ezra Ezr_07_12 Artaxerxes, king of kings, unto {Ezra} the priest, a scribe of the law of the God of heaven, perfect [peace], and at such a time.
Ezra Ezr_07_21 And I, [even] I Artaxerxes the king, do make a decree to all the treasurers which [are] beyond the river, that whatsoever {Ezra} the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, shall require of you, it be done speedily,
Ezra Ezr_07_25 And thou, {Ezra}, after the wisdom of thy God, that [is] in thine hand, set magistrates and judges, which may judge all the people that [are] beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye them that know [them] not.
Ezra Ezr_10_01 Now when {Ezra} had prayed, and when he had confessed, weeping and casting himself down before the house of God, there assembled unto him out of Israel a very great congregation of men and women and children: for the people wept very sore.
Ezra Ezr_10_02 And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, [one] of the sons of Elam, answered and said unto {Ezra}, We have trespassed against our God, and have taken strange wives of the people of the land: yet now there is hope in Israel concerning this thing.
Ezra Ezr_10_05 Then arose {Ezra}, and made the chief priests, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they should do according to this word. And they sware.
Ezra Ezr_10_06 Then {Ezra} rose up from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Johanan the son of Eliashib: and [when] he came thither, he did eat no bread, nor drink water: for he mourned because of the transgression of them that had been carried away.
Ezra Ezr_10_10 And {Ezra} the priest stood up, and said unto them, Ye have transgressed, and have taken strange wives, to increase the trespass of Israel.
Ezra Ezr_10_16 And the children of the captivity did so. And {Ezra} the priest, [with] certain chief of the fathers, after the house of their fathers, and all of them by [their] names, were separated, and sat down in the first day of the tenth month to examine the matter.
Ezra Neh_08_01 And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that [was] before the water gate; and they spake unto {Ezra} the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded to Israel.
Ezra Neh_08_02 And {Ezra} the priest brought the law before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month.
Ezra Neh_08_04 And {Ezra} the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, [and] Meshullam.
Ezra Neh_08_05 And {Ezra} opened the book in the sight of all the people; (for he was above all the people;) and when he opened it, all the people stood up:
Ezra Neh_08_06 And {Ezra} blessed the LORD, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the LORD with [their] faces to the ground.
Ezra Neh_08_09 And Nehemiah, which [is] the Tirshatha, and {Ezra} the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day [is] holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.
Ezra Neh_08_13 And on the second day were gathered together the chief of the fathers of all the people, the priests, and the Levites, unto {Ezra} the scribe, even to understand the words of the law.
Ezra Neh_12_01 Now these [are] the priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, {Ezra},
Ezra Neh_12_13 Of {Ezra}, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;
