tables of stone, [even] the tables of the covenant which the

LORD made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and

forty nights, I neither did eat {bread} nor drink water:

bread <DEU9 -18> And I fell down before the LORD, as at the

first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat {bread},

nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in

doing wickedly in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

bread <DEU16 -3> Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven

days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, [even] the

{bread} of affliction: for thou camest forth out of the land of

Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou

camest

forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.

bread <DEU16 -3> Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven

days shalt thou eat unleavened {bread} therewith, [even] the

camest

forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.

bread <DEU16 -4> And there shall be no leavened {bread} seen

with thee in all thy coast seven days; neither shall there [any

appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall

choose; in the feast of unleavened {bread}, and in the feast of

weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not

appear before

 the LORD empty:

bread <DEU23 -4> Because they met you not with {bread} and with

was dry [and] mouldy.

bread <JOS9 -12> This our {bread} we took hot [for] our

provision out of our houses on the day we came forth to go unto

you; but now, behold, it is dry, and it is mouldy:

bread <JUG7 -13> And when Gideon was come, behold, [there was] a

man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I

dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley {bread} tumbled into

the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it

fell

, and overturned it, that the tent lay along.

bread <JUG8 -5> And he said unto the men of Succoth, Give, I

pray you, loaves of {bread} unto the people that follow me; for

they [be] faint, and I am pursuing after Zebah and Zalmunna,

kings of Midian.

bread <JUG8 -6> And the princes of Succoth said, [Are] the hands

of Zebah and Zalmunna now in thine hand, that we should give

{bread} unto thine army?

bread <JUG8 -15> And he came unto the men of Succoth, and said,

Behold Zebah and Zalmunna with whom ye did upbraid me, saying,

[Are] the hands of Zebah and Zalmunna now in thine hand, that we

should give {bread} unto thy men [that are] weary?

bread <JUG13 -16> And the angel of the LORD said unto Manoah,

Though thou detain me, I will not eat of thy {bread}: and if

thou wilt offer a burnt offering, thou must offer it unto the

LORD. For Manoah knew not that he [was] an angel of the LORD.

bread <JUG19 -5> And it came to pass on the fourth day, when

they arose early in the morning, that he rose up to depart: and

the damsel's father said unto his son in law, Comfort thine

heart with a morsel of {bread}, and afterward go your way.

bread <JUG19 -19> Yet there is both straw and provender for our

asses; and there is {bread} and wine also for me, and for thy

handmaid, and for the young man [which is] with thy servants:

[there is] no want of any thing.

bread <RUT2 -14> And Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come thou

hither, and eat of the {bread}, and dip thy morsel in the

vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her

parched [corn], and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left.

bread <1SA2 -5> They that were] full have hired out themselves

for {bread}; and [they that were] hungry ceased: so that the

barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed

feeble.

bread <1SA2 -36> And it shall come to pass, [that] every one

that is left in thine house shall come [and] crouch to him for a

piece of silver and a morsel of {bread}, and shall say, Put me,

I pray thee, into one of the priests' offices, that I may eat a p

iece of bread.

bread <1SA2 -36> And it shall come to pass, [that] every one

that is left in thine house shall come [and] crouch to him for a

piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I

pray thee, into one of the priests' offices, that I may eat a pie

ce of {bread}.

bread <1SA9 -7> Then said Saul to his servant, But, behold, [if]

we go, what shall we bring the man? for the {bread} is spent in

our vessels, and [there is] not a present to bring to the man of

God: what have we?

bread <1SA10 -3> Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and

thou shalt come to the plain of Tabor, and there shall meet thee

three men going up to God to Bethel, one carrying three kids,

and another carrying three loaves of {bread}, and another carryi

ng a bottle of wine:

bread <1SA10 -4> And they will salute thee, and give thee two

[loaves] of {bread}; which thou shalt receive of their hands.

bread <1SA16 -20> And Jesse took an ass [laden] with {bread},

and a bottle of wine, and a kid, and sent [them] by David his

son unto Saul.

bread <1SA21 -3> Now therefore what is under thine hand? give

[me] five [loaves of] {bread} in mine hand, or what there is

present.

bread <1SA21 -4> And the priest answered David, and said, [There

is] no common bread under mine hand, but there is hallowed

{bread}; if the young men have kept themselves at least from

women.

bread <1SA21 -4> And the priest answered David, and said, [There

is] no common {bread} under mine hand, but there is hallowed

bread; if the young men have kept themselves at least from women.

bread <1SA21 -5> And David answered the priest, and said unto

him, Of a truth women [have been] kept from us about these three

days, since I came out, and the vessels of the young men are

holy, and [the {bread} is] in a manner common, yea, though it

were

sanctified this day in the vessel.

bread <1SA21 -6> So the priest gave him hallowed [{bread}]: for

there was no bread there but the showbread, that was taken from

before the LORD, to put hot bread in the day when it was taken

away.

bread <1SA21 -6> So the priest gave him hallowed [bread]: for

there was no bread there but the showbread, that was taken from

before the LORD, to put hot {bread} in the day when it was taken

away.

bread <1SA21 -6> So the priest gave him hallowed [bread]: for

there was no {bread} there but the showbread, that was taken

from before the LORD, to put hot bread in the day when it was

taken away.

bread <1SA22 -13> And Saul said unto him, Why have ye conspired

against me, thou and the son of Jesse, in that thou hast given

him {bread}, and a sword, and hast inquired of God for him, that

he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?

bread <1SA25 -11> Shall I then take my {bread}, and my water,

and my flesh that I have killed for my shearers, and give [it]

unto men, whom I know not whence they [be]?

bread <1SA28 -20> Then Saul fell straightway all along on the

earth, and was sore afraid, because of the words of Samuel: and

there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no {bread} all

the day, nor all the night.

bread <1SA28 -22> Now therefore, I pray thee, hearken thou also

come into the house of the LORD.

bread <AMO4 -6> And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in

all your cities, and want of {bread} in all your places: yet

have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

bread <AMO7 -12> Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go,

flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat {bread},

and prophesy there:

bread <AMO8 -11> Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that

I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of {bread}, nor a

thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

bread <OBA1 -7> All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee

[even] to the border: the men that were at peace with thee have

deceived thee, [and] prevailed against thee; [they that eat] thy

{bread} have laid a wound under thee: [there is] none underst

anding in him.

bread <HAG2 -12> If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his

garment, and with his skirt do touch {bread}, or pottage, or

wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests

answered and said, No.

bread <MAL1 -7> Ye offer polluted {bread} upon mine altar; and

ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table

of the LORD [is] contemptible.

bread <MAT4 -3> And when the tempter came to him, he said, If

thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made

{bread}.

bread <MAT4 -4> But he answered and said, It is written, Man

shall not live by {bread} alone, but by every word that

proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

bread <MAT6 -11> Give us this day our daily {bread}.

bread <MAT7 -9> Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask

{bread}, will he give him a stone?

bread <MAT15 -2> Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition

of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat

{bread}.

bread <MAT15 -26> But he answered and said, It is not meet to

take the children's {bread}, and cast [it] to dogs.

bread <MAT15 -33> And his disciples say unto him, Whence should

we have so much {bread} in the wilderness, as to fill so great a

multitude?

bread <MAT16 -5> And when his disciples were come to the other

side, they had forgotten to take {bread}.

bread <MAT16 -7> And they reasoned among themselves, saying, [It

is] because we have taken no {bread}.

bread <MAT16 -8> Which] when Jesus perceived, he said unto them,

O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye

have brought no {bread}?

bread <MAT16 -11> How is it that ye do not understand that I

spake [it] not to you concerning {bread}, that ye should beware

of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?

bread <MAT16 -12> Then understood they how that he bade [them]

not beware of the leaven of {bread}, but of the doctrine of the

Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

bread <MAT26 -17> Now the first [day] of the [feast of]

unleavened {bread} the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him,

Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?

bread <MAT26 -26> And as they were eating, Jesus took {bread},

and blessed [it], and brake [it], and gave [it] to the disciples,

and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

bread <MAR3 -20> And the multitude cometh together again, so

that they could not so much as eat {bread}.

bread <MAR6 -8> And commanded them that they should take nothing

for their] journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no {bread}, no

money in their] purse:

bread <MAR6 -36> Send them away, that they may go into the

country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves

{bread}: for they have nothing to eat.

bread <MAR6 -37> He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to

eat. And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred

pennyworth of {bread}, and give them to eat?

bread <MAR7 -2> And when they saw some of his disciples eat

{bread} with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they

found fault.

bread <MAR7 -5> Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why

walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders,

but eat {bread} with unwashen hands?

bread <MAR7 -27> But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first

be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's {bread},

and to cast it] unto the dogs.

bread <MAR8 -4> And his disciples answered him, From whence can

a man satisfy these men] with {bread} here in the wilderness?

bread <MAR8 -14> Now the disciples] had forgotten to take

{bread}, neither had they in the ship with them more than one

loaf.

bread <MAR8 -16> And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It

is] because we have no {bread}.

bread <MAR8 -17> And when Jesus knew it], he saith unto them,

Why reason ye, because ye have no {bread}? perceive ye not yet,

neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?

bread <MAR14 -1> After two days was the feast of] the passover,

and of unleavened {bread}: and the chief priests and the scribes

sought how they might take him by craft, and put him] to death.

bread <MAR14 -12> And the first day of unleavened {bread}, when

they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where

wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the

passover?

bread <MAR14 -22> And as they did eat, Jesus took {bread}, and

blessed, and brake it], and gave to them, and said, Take, eat:

this is my body.

bread <LUK4 -3> And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son

of God, command this stone that it be made {bread}.

bread <LUK4 -4> And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written,

That man shall not live by {bread} alone, but by every word of

God.

bread <LUK7 -33> For John the Baptist came neither eating

{bread} nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil.

bread <LUK9 -3> And he said unto them, Take nothing for your]

journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither {bread}, neither

money; neither have two coats apiece.

bread <LUK11 -3> Give us day by day our daily {bread}.

bread <LUK11 -11> If a son shall ask {bread} of any of you that

is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask] a fish,

will he for a fish give him a serpent?

bread <LUK14 -1> And it came to pass, as he went into the house

of one of the chief Pharisees to eat {bread} on the sabbath day,

that they watched him.

bread <LUK14 -15> And when one of them that sat at meat with him

heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is] he that shall

eat {bread} in the kingdom of God.

bread <LUK15 -17> And when he came to himself, he said, How many

hired servants of my father's have {bread} enough and to spare,

and I perish with hunger!

bread <LUK22 -1> Now the feast of unleavened {bread} drew nigh,

which is called the Passover.

bread <LUK22 -7> Then came the day of unleavened {bread}, when

the passover must be killed.

bread <LUK22 -19> And he took {bread}, and gave thanks, and

brake it], and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is

given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

bread <LUK24 -30> And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with

them, he took {bread}, and blessed it], and brake, and gave to

them.

bread <LUK24 -35> And they told what things were done] in the

way, and how he was known of them in breaking of {bread}.

bread <JOH6 -5> When Jesus then lifted up his] eyes, and saw a

great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall

we buy {bread}, that these may eat?

bread <JOH6 -7> Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of

{bread} is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may

take a little.

bread <JOH6 -23> Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias

nigh unto the place where they did eat {bread}, after that the

Lord had given thanks:)

bread <JOH6 -31> Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it

is written, He gave them {bread} from heaven to eat.

bread <JOH6 -32> Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I

say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my

Father giveth you the true {bread} from heaven.

bread <JOH6 -32> Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I

say unto you, Moses gave you not that {bread} from heaven; but

my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.

bread <JOH6 -33> For the {bread} of God is he which cometh down

from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

bread <JOH6 -34> Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us

this {bread}.

bread <JOH6 -35> And Jesus said unto them, I am the {bread} of

life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that

believeth on me shall never thirst.

bread <JOH6 -41> The Jews then murmured at him, because he said,

I am the {bread} which came down from heaven.

bread <JOH6 -48> I am that {bread} of life.

bread <JOH6 -50> This is the {bread} which cometh down from

heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

bread <JOH6 -51> I am the living {bread} which came down from

heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever:

and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give

for the life of the world.

bread <JOH6 -51> I am the living bread which came down from

heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever:

and the {bread} that I will give is my flesh, which I will give

for the life of the world.

bread <JOH6 -51> I am the living bread which came down from

heaven: if any man eat of this {bread}, he shall live for ever:

and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give

for the life of the world.

bread <JOH6 -58> This is that bread which came down from heaven:

not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth

of this {bread} shall live for ever.

bread <JOH6 -58> This is that {bread} which came down from

heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that

eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

bread <JOH13 -18> I speak not of you all: I know whom I have

chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth

{bread} with me hath lifted up his heel against me.

bread <JOH21 -9> As soon then as they were come to land, they

saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and {bread}.

bread <JOH21 -13> Jesus then cometh, and taketh {bread}, and

giveth them, and fish likewise.

bread <ACT2 -42> And they continued stedfastly in the apostles'

doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of {bread}, and in

prayers.

bread <ACT2 -46> And they, continuing daily with one accord in

the temple, and breaking {bread} from house to house, did eat

their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

bread <ACT12 -3> And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he

proceeded further to take Peter also. Then were the days of

unleavened {bread}.)

bread <ACT20 -6> And we sailed away from Philippi after the days

of unleavened {bread}, and came unto them to Troas in five days;

where we abode seven days.

bread <ACT20 -7> And upon the first day] of the week, when the

disciples came together to break {bread}, Paul preached unto

them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech

until midnight.

bread <ACT20 -11> When he therefore was come up again, and had

broken {bread}, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till

break of day, so he departed.

bread <ACT27 -35> And when he had thus spoken, he took {bread},

and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had

broken it], he began to eat.

bread <1CO5 -8> Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old

leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but

with the unleavened {bread}] of sincerity and truth.

bread <1CO10 -16> The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not

the communion of the blood of Christ? The {bread} which we break,

is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

bread <1CO10 -17> For we being] many are one bread, and] one

body: for we are all partakers of that one {bread}.

bread <1CO10 -17> For we being] many are one {bread}, and] one

body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

bread <1CO11 -23> For I have received of the Lord that which

also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same] night

in which he was betrayed took {bread}:

bread <1CO11 -26> For as often as ye eat this {bread}, and drink

this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till he come.

bread <1CO11 -27> Wherefore whosoever shall eat this {bread},

and drink this] cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of

the body and blood of the Lord.

bread <1CO11 -28> But let a man examine himself, and so let him

eat of that] {bread}, and drink of that] cup.

bread <2CO9 -10> Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both

minister {bread} for your] food, and multiply your seed sown,

and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)

bread <2TH3 -8> Neither did we eat any man's {bread} for nought;

but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might

not be chargeable to any of you:

bread <2TH3 -12> Now them that are such we command and exhort by

our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat

their own {bread}.
