alone.

watchman <2SA18 -27> And the {watchman} said, Me thinketh the

good tidings.

watchman <2KI9 -17> And there stood a {watchman} on the tower in
Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said,
I see a company. And Joram said, Take an horseman, and send to
meet them, and let him say, [Is it] peace?

watchman <2KI9 -18> So there went one on horseback to meet him,

watchman <2KI9 -20> And the {watchman} told, saying, He came

of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? {Watchman}, what of the

and give them warning from me.

watchman Son of man, speak to the children of thy
people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land,
if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set
him for their {watchman}:

watchman But if the {watchman} see the sword come,
and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the
sword come, and take [any] person from among them, he is taken
away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the
watchman'

s hand.

watchman So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a
{watchman} unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear
the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

watchman The {watchman} of Ephraim [was] with my God:
[but] the prophet [is] a snare of a fowler in all his ways,
[and] hatred in the house of his God.
