war That these] made {war} with Bera king of Sodom,
and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and
Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar.

war Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they
multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any
{war}, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us,
and [so] get them up out of the land.

war And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the
people go, that God led them not [through] the way of the land
of the Philistines, although that [was] near; for God said, Lest
peradventure the people repent when they see {war}, and they retu

rn to Egypt:

war The LORD [is] a man of {war}: the LORD [is] his
name.

war For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn [that]
the LORD [will have] {war} with Amalek from generation to
generation.

war And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as
they shouted, he said unto Moses, [There is] a noise of {war} in
the camp.

war From twenty years old and upward, all that are
able to go forth to {war} in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number
them by their armies.

war And the children of Reuben, Israel's eldest son,
by their generations, after their families, by the house of
their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their
polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that
were abl

e to go forth to {war};

war Of the children of Simeon, by their generations,
after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that
were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by
their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all t

hat were able to go forth to {war};

war Of the children of Gad, by their generations,
after their families, by the house of their fathers, according
to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward,
all that were able to go forth to {war};

war Of the children of Judah, by their generations,
after their families, by the house of their fathers, according
to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward,
all that were able to go forth to {war};

war Of the children of Issachar, by their generations,
after their families, by the house of their fathers, according
to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward,
all that were able to go forth to {war};

war Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations,
after their families, by the house of their fathers, according
to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward,
all that were able to go forth to {war};

war Of the children of Joseph, [namely], of the
children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families,
by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the
names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to
go for

th to {war};

war Of the children of Manasseh, by their generations,
after their families, by the house of their fathers, according
to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward,
all that were able to go forth to {war};

war Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations,
after their families, by the house of their fathers, according
to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward,
all that were able to go forth to {war};

war Of the children of Dan, by their generations,
after their families, by the house of their fathers, according
to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward,
all that were able to go forth to {war};

war Of the children of Asher, by their generations,
after their families, by the house of their fathers, according
to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward,
all that were able to go forth to {war};

war Of the children of Naphtali, throughout their
generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers,
according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and
upward, all that were able to go forth to {war};

war So were all those that were numbered of the
children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty
years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to {war} in
Israel;

war And if ye go to {war} in your land against the
enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the
trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God,
and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

war Take the sum of all the congregation of the
children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, throughout
their fathers' house, all that are able to go to {war} in Israel.

war And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some
of yourselves unto the {war}, and let them go against the
Midianites, and avenge the LORD of Midian.

war Of every tribe a thousand, throughout all the
tribes of Israel, shall ye send to the {war}.

war So there were delivered out of the thousands of
Israel, a thousand of [every] tribe, twelve thousand armed for
{war}.

war And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of
[every] tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest,
to the {war}, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to
blow in his hand.

war And Moses sent them to the {war}, a thousand of
[every] tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest,
to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow
in his hand.

war And Eleazar the priest said unto the men of
{war} which went to the battle, This [is] the ordinance of the
law which the LORD commanded Moses;

war And divide the prey into two parts; between them
that took the {war} upon them, who went out to battle, and
between all the congregation:

war And levy a tribute unto the LORD of the men of
{war} which went out to battle: one soul of five hundred, [both]
of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the
sheep:

war And the booty, [being] the rest of the prey
which the men of {war} had caught, was six hundred thousand and
seventy thousand and five thousand sheep,

war And the half, [which was] the portion of them
that went out to {war}, was in number three hundred thousand and
seven and thirty thousand and five hundred sheep:

war And they said unto Moses, Thy servants have
taken the sum of the men of {war} which [are] under our charge,
and there lacketh not one man of us.

war For] the men of {war} had taken spoil, every man
for himself.)

war And Moses said unto the children of Gad and to
the children of Reuben, Shall your brethren go to {war}, and
shall ye sit here?

war And Moses said unto them, If ye will do this
thing, if ye will go armed before the LORD to {war},

war But thy servants will pass over, every man armed
for {war}, before the LORD to battle, as my lord saith.

war Then ye answered and said unto me, We have sinned
against the LORD, we will go up and fight, according to all that
the LORD our God commanded us. And when ye had girded on every
man his weapons of {war}, ye were ready to go up into the hill

.

war And the space in which we came from Kadeshbarnea,
until we were come over the brook Zered, [was] thirty and eight
years; until all the generation of the men of {war} were wasted
out from among the host, as the LORD sware unto them.

war So it came to pass, when all the men of {war}
were consumed and dead from among the people,

war And I commanded you at that time, saying, The
LORD your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall
pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all
[that are] meet for the {war}.

war Or hath God assayed to go [and] take him a nation
from the midst of [another] nation, by temptations, by signs,
and by wonders, and by {war}, and by a mighty hand, and by a
stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that
the

LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

war And if it will make no peace with thee, but will
make {war} against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:

war When thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in
making {war} against it to take it, thou shalt not destroy the
trees thereof by forcing an ax against them: for thou mayest eat
of them, and thou shalt not cut them down (for the tree of the f

ield [is] man's [life]) to employ [them] in the siege:

war Only the trees which thou knowest that they [be]
not trees for meat, thou shalt destroy and cut them down; and
thou shalt build bulwarks against the city that maketh {war}
with thee, until it be subdued.

war When thou goest forth to {war} against thine
enemies, and the LORD thy God hath delivered them into thine
hands, and thou hast taken them captive,

war When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go
out to {war}, neither shall he be charged with any business:
[but] he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his
wife which he hath taken.

war About forty thousand prepared for {war} passed
over before the LORD unto battle, to the plains of Jericho.

war And this [is] the cause why Joshua did circumcise:
All the people that came out of Egypt, [that were] males, [even]
all the men of {war}, died in the wilderness by the way, after
they came out of Egypt.

war For the children of Israel walked forty years in
the wilderness, till all the people [that were] men of {war},
which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not
the voice of the LORD: unto whom the LORD sware that he would
not

show them the land, which the LORD sware unto their fathers that
he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

war And ye shall compass the city, all [ye] men of
{war}, [and] go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do
six days.

war And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither
be thou dismayed: take all the people of {war} with thee, and
arise, go up to Ai: see, I have given into thy hand the king of
Ai, and his people, and his city, and his land:

war So Joshua arose, and all the people of {war}, to
go up against Ai: and Joshua chose out thirty thousand mighty
men of valour, and sent them away by night.

war And all the people, [even the people] of {war}
that [were] with him, went up, and drew nigh, and came before
the city, and pitched on the north side of Ai: now [there was] a
valley between them and Ai.

war Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the
king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the
king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together,
and went up, they and all their hosts, and encamped before Gibeo

n, and made {war} against it.

war So Joshua ascended from Gilgal, he, and all the
people of {war} with him, and all the mighty men of valour.

war And it came to pass, when they brought out those
kings unto Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel,
and said unto the captains of the men of {war} which went with
him, Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings. A

nd they came near, and put their feet upon the necks of them.

war So Joshua came, and all the people of {war} with
him, against them by the waters of Merom suddenly; and they fell
upon them.

war Joshua made {war} a long time with all those
kings.

war So Joshua took the whole land, according to all
that the LORD said unto Moses; and Joshua gave it for an
inheritance unto Israel according to their divisions by their
tribes. And the land rested from {war}.

war As yet I [am as] strong this day as [I was] in
the day that Moses sent me: as my strength [was] then, even so
[is] my strength now, for {war}, both to go out, and to come in.

war And the name of Hebron before [was] Kirjatharba;
[which Arba was] a great man among the Anakims. And the land had
rest from {war}.

war There was also a lot for the tribe of Manasseh;
for he [was] the firstborn of Joseph; [to wit], for Machir the
firstborn of Manasseh, the father of Gilead: because he was a
man of {war}, therefore he had Gilead and Bashan.

war And when the children of Israel heard [of it],
the whole congregation of the children of Israel gathered
themselves together at Shiloh, to go up to {war} against them.

war Only that the generations of the children of
Israel might know, to teach them {war}, at the least such as
before knew nothing thereof;

war And the spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he
judged Israel, and went out to {war}: and the LORD delivered
Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his
hand prevailed against Chushanrishathaim.

war They chose new gods; then [was] {war} in the gates:
was there a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel?

war And it came to pass in process of time, that the
children of Ammon made {war} against Israel.

war And it was so, that when the children of Ammon
made {war} against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch
Jephthah out of the land of Tob:

war Wherefore I have not sinned against thee, but
thou doest me wrong to {war} against me: the LORD the Judge be
judge this day between the children of Israel and the children
of Ammon.

war And there went from thence of the family of the
Danites, out of Zorah and out of Eshtaol, six hundred men
appointed with weapons of {war}.

war And the six hundred men appointed with their
weapons of {war}, which [were] of the children of Dan, stood by
the entering of the gate.

war And the five men that went to spy out the land
went up, [and] came in thither, [and] took the graven image, and
the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image: and the
priest stood in the entering of the gate with the six hundred
men [t

hat were] appointed with weapons of {war}.

war And the men of Israel, beside Benjamin, were
numbered four hundred thousand men that drew sword: all these
[were] men of {war}.

war And it shall be, when their fathers or their
brethren come unto us to complain, that we will say unto them,
Be favourable unto them for our sakes: because we reserved not
to each man his wife in the {war}: for ye did not give unto them
at

this time, [that] ye should be guilty.

war <1SA8 -12> And he will appoint him captains over thousands,
and captains over fifties; and [will set them] to ear his ground,
and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of {war},
and instruments of his chariots.

war <1SA14 -52> And there was sore {war} against the Philistines
all the days of Saul: and when Saul saw any strong man, or any
valiant man, he took him unto him.

war <1SA16 -18> Then answered one of the servants, and said,
Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, [that is]
cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of {war},
and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD [is]
wi

th him.

war <1SA17 -33> And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go
against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou [art but] a
youth, and he a man of {war} from his youth.

war <1SA18 -5> And David went out whithersoever Saul sent him,
[and] behaved himself wisely: and Saul set him over the men of
{war}, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and
also in the sight of Saul's servants.

war <1SA19 -8> And there was {war} again: and David went out,
and fought with the Philistines, and slew them with a great
slaughter; and they fled from him.

war <1SA23 -8> And Saul called all the people together to {war},
to go down to Keilah, to besiege David and his men.

war <1SA28 -15> And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou
disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore
distressed; for the Philistines make {war} against me, and God
is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by
prophets, nor by dr

eams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known
unto me what I shall do.

war <2SA1 -27> How are the mighty fallen, and the weapons of
{war} perished!

war <2SA3 -1> Now there was long {war} between the house of Saul
and the house of David: but David waxed stronger and stronger,
and the house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker.

war <2SA3 -6> And it came to pass, while there was {war} between
the house of Saul and the house of David, that Abner made
himself strong for the house of Saul.

war <2SA11 -7> And when Uriah was come unto him, David demanded
[of him] how Joab did, and how the people did, and how the {war}
prospered.

war <2SA11 -18> Then Joab sent and told David all the things
concerning the {war};

war <2SA11 -19> And charged the messenger, saying, When thou
hast made an end of telling the matters of the {war} unto the
king,

war <2SA17 -8> For, said Hushai, thou knowest thy father and his
men, that they [be] mighty men, and they [be] chafed in their
minds, as a bear robbed of her whelps in the field: and thy
father [is] a man of {war}, and will not lodge with the people.

war <2SA21 -15> Moreover the Philistines had yet {war} again
with Israel; and David went down, and his servants with him, and
fought against the Philistines: and David waxed faint.

war <2SA22 -35> He teacheth my hands to {war}; so that a bow of
steel is broken by mine arms.

war <1KI2 -5> Moreover thou knowest also what Joab the son of
Zeruiah did to me, [and] what he did to the two captains of the
hosts of Israel, unto Abner the son of Ner, and unto Amasa the
son of Jether, whom he slew, and shed the blood of war in peace,
a

nd put the blood of {war} upon his girdle that [was] about his
loins, and in his shoes that [were] on his feet.

war <1KI2 -5> Moreover thou knowest also what Joab the son of
Zeruiah did to me, [and] what he did to the two captains of the
hosts of Israel, unto Abner the son of Ner, and unto Amasa the
son of Jether, whom he slew, and shed the blood of {war} in
peace,

and put the blood of war upon his girdle that [was] about his
loins, and in his shoes that [were] on his feet.

war <1KI9 -22> But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no
bondmen: but they [were] men of {war}, and his servants, and his
princes, and his captains, and rulers of his chariots, and his
horsemen.

war <1KI14 -30> And there was {war} between Rehoboam and
Jeroboam all [their] days.

war <1KI15 -6> And there was {war} between Rehoboam and Jeroboam
all the days of his life.

war <1KI15 -7> Now the rest of the acts of Abijam, and all that
he did, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of
the kings of Judah? And there was {war} between Abijam and
Jeroboam.

war <1KI15 -16> And there was {war} between Asa and Baasha king
of Israel all their days.

war <1KI15 -32> And there was {war} between Asa and Baasha king
of Israel all their days.

war <1KI20 -18> And he said, Whether they be come out for peace,
take them alive; or whether they be come out for {war}, take
them alive.

war <1KI22 -1> And they continued three years without {war}
between Syria and Israel.

war <2KI8 -28> And he went with Joram the son of Ahab to the
{war} against Hazael king of Syria in Ramothgilead; and the
Syrians wounded Joram.

war <2KI13 -25> And Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz took again out
of the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael the cities, which he
had taken out of the hand of Jehoahaz his father by {war}. Three
times did Joash beat him, and recovered the cities of Israel.

war <2KI14 -7> He slew of Edom in the valley of salt ten
thousand, and took Selah by {war}, and called the name of it
Joktheel unto this day.

war <2KI16 -5> Then Rezin king of Syria and Pekah son of
Remaliah king of Israel came up to Jerusalem to {war}: and they
besieged Ahaz, but could not overcome [him].

war <2KI18 -20> Thou sayest, (but [they are but] vain words), [I
have] counsel and strength for the {war}. Now on whom dost thou
trust, that thou rebellest against me?

war <2KI24 -16> And all the men of might, [even] seven thousand,
and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all [that were] strong
[and] apt for {war}, even them the king of Babylon brought
captive to Babylon.

war <2KI25 -4> And the city was broken up, and all the men of
{war} [fled] by night by the way of the gate between two walls,
which [is] by the king's garden: (now the Chaldees [were]
against the city round about:) and [the king] went the way
toward the p

lain.

war <2KI25 -19> And out of the city he took an officer that was
set over the men of {war}, and five men of them that were in the
king's presence, which were found in the city, and the principal
scribe of the host, which mustered the people of the land, an

d threescore men of the people of the land [that were] found in
the city:

war <1CH5 -10> And in the days of Saul they made {war} with the
Hagarites, who fell by their hand: and they dwelt in their tents
throughout all the east [land] of Gilead.

war <1CH5 -18> The sons of Reuben, and the Gadites, and half the
tribe of Manasseh, of valiant men, men able to bear buckler and
sword, and to shoot with bow, and skilful in war, [were] four
and forty thousand seven hundred and threescore, that went out t

o the {war}.

war <1CH5 -18> The sons of Reuben, and the Gadites, and half the
tribe of Manasseh, of valiant men, men able to bear buckler and
sword, and to shoot with bow, and skilful in {war}, [were] four
and forty thousand seven hundred and threescore, that went out

to the war.

war <1CH5 -19> And they made {war} with the Hagarites, with
Jetur, and Nephish, and Nodab.

war <1CH5 -22> For there fell down many slain, because the {war}
[was] of God. And they dwelt in their steads until the captivity.

war <1CH7 -4> And with them, by their generations, after the
house of their fathers, [were] bands of soldiers for {war}, six
and thirty thousand [men]: for they had many wives and sons.

war <1CH7 -11> All these the sons of Jediael, by the heads of
their fathers, mighty men of valour, [were] seventeen thousand
and two hundred [soldiers], fit to go out for {war} [and] battle.

war <1CH7 -40> All these [were] the children of Asher, heads of
[their] father's house, choice [and] mighty men of valour, chief
of the princes. And the number throughout the genealogy of them
that were apt to the {war} [and] to battle [was] twenty and si

x thousand men.

war <1CH12 -1> Now these [are] they that came to David to Ziklag,
while he yet kept himself close because of Saul the son of Kish:
and they [were] among the mighty men, helpers of the {war}.

war <1CH12 -8> And of the Gadites there separated themselves
unto David into the hold to the wilderness men of might, [and]
men of {war} [fit] for the battle, that could handle shield and
buckler, whose faces [were like] the faces of lions, and [were]
as

swift as the roes upon the mountains;

war <1CH12 -23> And these [are] the numbers of the bands [that
were] ready armed to the {war}, [and] came to David to Hebron,
to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of the
LORD.

war <1CH12 -24> The children of Judah that bare shield and spear
[were] six thousand and eight hundred, ready armed to the {war}.

war <1CH12 -25> Of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valour
for the {war}, seven thousand and one hundred.

war <1CH12 -33> Of Zebulun, such as went forth to battle, expert
in {war}, with all instruments of war, fifty thousand, which
could keep rank: [they were] not of double heart.

war <1CH12 -33> Of Zebulun, such as went forth to battle, expert
in war, with all instruments of {war}, fifty thousand, which
could keep rank: [they were] not of double heart.

war <1CH12 -35> And of the Danites expert in {war} twenty and
eight thousand and six hundred.

war <1CH12 -36> And of Asher, such as went forth to battle,
expert in {war}, forty thousand.

war <1CH12 -37> And on the other side of Jordan, of the
Reubenites, and the Gadites, and of the half tribe of Manasseh,
with all manner of instruments of {war} for the battle, an
hundred and twenty thousand.

war <1CH12 -38> All these men of {war}, that could keep rank,
came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all
Israel: and all the rest also of Israel [were] of one heart to
make David king.

war <1CH18 -10> He sent Hadoram his son to king David, to
inquire of his welfare, and to congratulate him, because he had
fought against Hadarezer, and smitten him; (for Hadarezer had
{war} with Tou;) and [with him] all manner of vessels of gold
and silve

r and brass.

war <1CH20 -4> And it came to pass after this, that there arose
{war} at Gezer with the Philistines; at which time Sibbechai the
Hushathite slew Sippai, [that was] of the children of the giant:
and they were subdued.

war <1CH20 -5> And there was {war} again with the Philistines;
and Elhanan the son of Jair slew Lahmi the brother of Goliath
the Gittite, whose spear staff [was] like a weaver's beam.

war <1CH20 -6> And yet again there was {war} at Gath, where was
a man of [great] stature, whose fingers and toes [were] four and
twenty, six [on each hand], and six [on each foot]: and he also
was the son of the giant.

war <1CH28 -3> But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build an
house for my name, because thou [hast been] a man of {war}, and
hast shed blood.

war <2CH6 -34> If thy people go out to {war} against their
enemies by the way that thou shalt send them, and they pray unto
thee toward this city which thou hast chosen, and the house
which I have built for thy name;

war <2CH8 -9> But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no
servants for his work; but they [were] men of {war}, and chief
of his captains, and captains of his chariots and horsemen.

war <2CH13 -2> He reigned three years in Jerusalem. His mother's
name also [was] Michaiah the daughter of Uriel of Gibeah. And
there was {war} between Abijah and Jeroboam.

war <2CH13 -3> And Abijah set the battle in array with an army
of valiant men of {war}, [even] four hundred thousand chosen men:
Jeroboam also set the battle in array against him with eight
hundred thousand chosen men, [being] mighty men of valour.

war <2CH14 -6> And he built fenced cities in Judah: for the land
had rest, and he had no {war} in those years; because the LORD
had given him rest.

war <2CH15 -19> And there was no [more] {war} unto the five and
thirtieth year of the reign of Asa.

war <2CH17 -10> And the fear of the LORD fell upon all the
kingdoms of the lands that [were] round about Judah, so that
they made no {war} against Jehoshaphat.

war <2CH17 -13> And he had much business in the cities of Judah:
and the men of {war}, mighty men of valour, [were] in Jerusalem.

war <2CH17 -18> And next him [was] Jehozabad, and with him an
hundred and fourscore thousand ready prepared for the {war}.

war <2CH18 -3> And Ahab king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat
king of Judah, Wilt thou go with me to Ramothgilead? And he
answered him, I [am] as thou [art], and my people as thy people;
and [we will be] with thee in the {war}.

war <2CH22 -5> He walked also after their counsel, and went with
Jehoram the son of Ahab king of Israel to {war} against Hazael
king of Syria at Ramothgilead: and the Syrians smote Joram.

war <2CH25 -5> Moreover Amaziah gathered Judah together, and
made them captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds,
according to the houses of [their] fathers, throughout all Judah
and Benjamin: and he numbered them from twenty years old and
above

, and found them three hundred thousand choice [men, able] to go
forth to {war}, that could handle spear and shield.

war <2CH26 -11> Moreover Uzziah had an host of fighting men,
that went out to {war} by bands, according to the number of
their account by the hand of Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the
ruler, under the hand of Hananiah, [one] of the king's captains.

war <2CH26 -13> And under their hand [was] an army, three
hundred thousand and seven thousand and five hundred, that made
{war} with mighty power, to help the king against the enemy.

war <2CH28 -12> Then certain of the heads of the children of
Ephraim, Azariah the son of Johanan, Berechiah the son of
Meshillemoth, and Jehizkiah the son of Shallum, and Amasa the
son of Hadlai, stood up against them that came from the {war},

war <2CH32 -6> And he set captains of {war} over the people, and
gathered them together to him in the street of the gate of the
city, and spake comfortably to them, saying,

war <2CH33 -14> Now after this he built a wall without the city
of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the
entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and
raised it up a very great height, and put captains of {war} in
all

the fenced cities of Judah.

war <2CH35 -21> But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What
have I to do with thee, thou king of Judah? [I come] not against
thee this day, but against the house wherewith I have {war}: for
God commanded me to make haste: forbear thee from [meddling with

] God, who [is] with me, that he destroy thee not.

war In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in
{war} from the power of the sword.

war Thou renewest thy witnesses against me, and
increasest thine indignation upon me; changes and {war} [are]
against me.

war Which I have reserved against the time of
trouble, against the day of battle and {war}?

war He teacheth my hands to {war}, so that a bow of
steel is broken by mine arms.

war Though an host should encamp against me, my heart
shall not fear: though {war} should rise against me, in this
[will] I [be] confident.

war The words] of his mouth were smoother than
butter, but {war} [was] in his heart: his words were softer than
oil, yet [were] they drawn swords.

war Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of
the bulls, with the calves of the people, [till every one]
submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people
[that] delight in {war}.

war I [am for] peace: but when I speak, they [are]
for {war}.

war Which imagine mischiefs in [their] heart;
continually are they gathered together [for] {war}.

war A Psalm] of David. Blessed [be] the LORD my
strength, which teacheth my hands to {war}, [and] my fingers to
fight:

war Every] purpose is established by counsel: and
with good advice make {war}.

war For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy {war}:
and in multitude of counsellors [there is] safety.

war A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of
{war}, and a time of peace.

war There is] no man that hath power over the spirit
to retain the spirit; neither [hath he] power in the day of
death: and [there is] no discharge in [that] {war}; neither
shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.

war Wisdom [is] better than weapons of {war}: but one
sinner destroyeth much good.

war They all hold swords, [being] expert in {war}:
every man [hath] his sword upon his thigh because of fear in the
night.

war And he shall judge among the nations, and shall
rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into
plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not
lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn {war} any
more.

war The mighty man, and the man of {war}, the judge,
and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,

war Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty
in the {war}.

war And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of
Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, [that] Rezin the king
of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up
toward Jerusalem to {war} against it, but could not prevail a

gainst it.

war For they fled from the swords, from the drawn
sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of {war}.

war I say, [sayest thou], (but [they are but] vain
words) [I have] counsel and strength for {war}: now on whom dost
thou trust, that thou rebellest against me?

war And he heard say concerning Tirhakah king of
Ethiopia, He is come forth to make {war} with thee. And when he
heard [it], he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying,

war Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them,
[even] them that contended with thee: they that {war} against
thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.

war The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he
shall stir up jealousy like a man of {war}: he shall cry, yea,
roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.

war My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very
heart; my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace,
because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet,
the alarm of {war}.

war Prepare ye {war} against her; arise, and let us go
up at noon. Woe unto us! for the day goeth away, for the shadows
of the evening are stretched out.

war They shall lay hold on bow and spear; they [are]
cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roareth like the sea; and
they ride upon horses, set in array as men for {war} against
thee, O daughter of Zion.

war Inquire, I pray thee, of the LORD for us; for
Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon maketh {war} against us; if so be
that the LORD will deal with us according to all his wondrous
works, that he may go up from us.

war Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Behold, I will
turn back the weapons of {war} that [are] in your hands,
wherewith ye fight against the king of Babylon, and [against]
the Chaldeans, which besiege you without the walls, and I will
assemble

them into the midst of this city.

war The prophets that have been before me and before
thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against
great kingdoms, of {war}, and of evil, and of pestilence.

war Therefore the princes said unto the king, We
beseech thee, let this man be put to death: for thus he
weakeneth the hands of the men of {war} that remain in this city,
and the hands of all the people, in speaking such words unto
them: for th

is man seeketh not the welfare of this people, but the hurt.

war And it came to pass, [that] when Zedekiah the
king of Judah saw them, and all the men of {war}, then they fled,
and went forth out of the city by night, by the way of the
king's garden, by the gate betwixt the two walls: and he went
out the

way of the plain.

war Ishmael also slew all the Jews that were with him,
[even] with Gedaliah, at Mizpah, and the Chaldeans that were
found there, [and] the men of {war}.

war Then took Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the
captains of the forces that [were] with him, all the remnant of
the people whom he had recovered from Ishmael the son of
Nethaniah, from Mizpah, after [that] he had slain Gedaliah the
son of

Ahikam, [even] mighty men of {war}, and the women, and the
children, and the eunuchs, whom he had brought again from Gibeon:

war Saying, No; but we will go into the land of
Egypt, where we shall see no {war}, nor hear the sound of the
trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell:

war How say ye, We [are] mighty and strong men for
the {war}?

war Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD,
that I will cause an alarm of {war} to be heard in Rabbah of the
Ammonites; and it shall be a desolate heap, and her daughters
shall be burned with fire: then shall Israel be heir unto them

that were his heirs, saith the LORD.

war Therefore her young men shall fall in her
streets, and all the men of {war} shall be cut off in that day,
saith the LORD of hosts.

war Therefore shall her young men fall in the
streets, and all her men of {war} shall be cut off in that day,
saith the LORD.

war Thou [art] my battle ax [and] weapons of {war}:
for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee
will I destroy kingdoms;

war And that the passages are stopped, and the reeds
they have burned with fire, and the men of {war} are affrighted.

war Then the city was broken up, and all the men of
{war} fled, and went forth out of the city by night by the way
of the gate between the two walls, which [was] by the king's
garden; (now the Chaldeans [were] by the city round about:) and
they

went by the way of the plain.

war He took also out of the city an eunuch, which
had the charge of the men of {war}; and seven men of them that
were near the king's person, which were found in the city; and
the principal scribe of the host, who mustered the people of the
la

nd; and threescore men of the people of the land, that were
found in the midst of the city.

war Neither shall Pharaoh with [his] mighty army and
great company make for him in the {war}, by casting up mounts,
and building forts, to cut off many persons:

war And he shall set engines of {war} against thy
walls, and with his axes he shall break down thy towers.

war They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in
thine army, thy men of {war}: they hanged the shield and helmet
in thee; they set forth thy comeliness.

war Thy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy
mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy
merchandise, and all thy men of {war}, that [are] in thee, and
in all thy company which [is] in the midst of thee, shall fall i

nto the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin.

war And they shall not lie with the mighty [that
are] fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell
with their weapons of {war}: and they have laid their swords
under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their
bones, thou

gh [they were] the terror of the mighty in the land of the
living.

war Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses
and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of {war}, saith
the Lord GOD.

war I beheld, and the same horn made {war} with the
saints, and prevailed against them;

war And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah
be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince
that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and
the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the
{w

ar} desolations are determined.

war They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb
the wall like men of {war}; and they shall march every one on
his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:

war Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war,
wake up the mighty men, let all the men of {war} draw near; let
them come up:

war Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare {war},
wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let
them come up:

war Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye
pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by
securely as men averse from {war}.

war Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that
make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace;
and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare
{war} against him.

war And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke
strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into
plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not
lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn {war} a

ny more.

war Or what king, going to make {war} against
another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he
be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him
with twenty thousand?

war And Herod with his men of {war} set him at
nought, and mocked him], and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and
sent him again to Pilate.

war <2CO10 -3> For though we walk in the flesh, we do not {war}
after the flesh:

war <1TI1 -18> This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy,
according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou
by them mightest {war} a good warfare;

war From whence come] wars and fightings among you?
come they] not hence, even] of your lusts that {war} in your
members?

war Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have,
and cannot obtain: ye fight and {war}, yet ye have not, because
ye ask not.

war <1PE2 -11> Dearly beloved, I beseech you] as strangers and
pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which {war} against the
soul;

war And when they shall have finished their testimony,
the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make
{war} against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

war And there was {war} in heaven: Michael and his
angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his
angels,

war And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and
went to make {war} with the remnant of her seed, which keep the
commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

war And they worshipped the dragon which gave power
unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is]
like unto the beast? who is able to make {war} with him?

war And it was given unto him to make {war} with the
saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all
kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

war These shall make {war} with the Lamb, and the
Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of
kings: and they that are with him are] called, and chosen, and
faithful.

war And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white
horse; and he that sat upon him was] called Faithful and True,
and in righteousness he doth judge and make {war}.

war And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth,
and their armies, gathered together to make {war} against him
that sat on the horse, and against his army.
