vanity <2KI17 -:15> And they rejected his statutes, and his
covenant
that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he
testified against them; and they followed {vanity}, and became
vain,
and went after the heathen that [were] round about them
, [concerning] whom the LORD had charged them, that they should
not
do like them.
vanity So am I made to possess months of {vanity}, and
wearisome nights are appointed to me.
vanity I loathe [it]; I would not live alway: let me
alone; for my days [are] {vanity}.

vanity He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart;

hath not lifted up his soul unto {vanity}, nor sworn deceitfully.
vanity Behold, thou hast made my days [as] an
handbreadth; and mine age [is] as nothing before thee: verily
every
man at his best state [is] altogether {vanity}. Selah.

of spirit.
vanity For that which befalleth the sons of men
befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one
dieth,
so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man
hath no preeminence above a beast: for all [is] {vanity}.
vanity Again, I considered all travail, and every
right
work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This [is]
also
{vanity} and vexation of spirit.

vanity None calleth for justice, nor [any] pleadeth

truth: they trust in {vanity}, and speak lies; they conceive

comfort
in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were
troubled, because [there was] no shepherd.
vanity For the creature was made subject to {vanity},
not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same]
in
hope,
vanity This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord,
that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the
{vanity}
of their mind,
vanity <2PE2 -:18> For when they speak great swelling words] of
{vanity}, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through
much]
wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in
error.
