towers <2CH14 -7> Therefore he said unto Judah, Let us build
these

cities, and make about [them] walls, and {towers}, gates, and
bars,

[while] the land [is] yet before us; because we have sought the
LORD

our God, we have sought [him], and he hath given us

rest on every side. So they built and prospered.

t

owers <2CH26 -9> Moreover Uzziah built {towers} in Jerusalem at
the

corner gate, and at the valley gate, and at the turning [of the

wall], and fortified them.

towers <2CH26 -10> Also he built {towers} in the desert, and
digged

many wells: for he had much cattle, both in the low country, and
in

the plains: husbandmen [also], and vine dressers in the
mountains,

and in Carmel: for he loved husbandry.

towers <2CH26 -15> And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by

cunning men, to be on the {towers} and upon the bulwarks, to
shoot

arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad;
for

he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.

towers <2CH27 -4> Moreover he built cities in the mountains of

Judah, and in the forests he built castles and {towers}.

towers <2CH32 -5> Also he strengthened himself, and built up all
the

wall that was broken, and raised [it] up to the {towers}, and

another wall without, and repaired Millo [in] the city of David,
and

made darts and shields in abundance.

towers Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell
the

{towers} thereof.

towers I [am] a wall, and my breasts like {towers}:
then

was I in his eyes as one that found favour.

towers Behold the land of the Chaldeans; this people
was

not, [till] the Assyrian founded it for them that dwell in the

wilderness: they set up the {towers} thereof, they raised up the

palaces thereof; [and] he brought it to ruin.

towers And there shall be upon every high mountain,
and

upon every high hill, rivers [and] streams of waters in the day
of

the great slaughter, when the {towers} fall.

towers Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the

multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and {towers}
shall be

for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;

towers Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where [is]
the

scribe? where [is] the receiver? where [is] he that counted the

{towers}?

towers And they shall destroy the walls of Tyrus, and

break down her {towers}: I will also scrape her dust from her,
and

make her like the top of a rock.

towers And he shall set engines of war against thy
walls,

and with his axes he shall break down thy {towers}.

towers The men of Arvad with thine army [were] upon
thy

walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy {towers}: they

hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have made
thy

beauty perfect.

towers A day of the trumpet and alarm against the
fenced

cities, and against the high {towers}.

towers I have cut off the nations: their {towers} are

desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passeth by: their

cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, that there is none

inhabitant.
