spy These [are] the names of the men which Moses
sent to

{spy} out the land. And Moses called Oshea the son of Nun
Jehoshua.

spy And Moses sent them to {spy} out the land of
Canaan,

and said unto them, Get you up this [way] southward, and go up
into

the mountain:

spy And Moses sent to {spy} out Jaazer, and they took

the villages thereof, and drove out the Amorites that [were]
there.

spy And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two
men

to {spy} secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And
they

went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged

there.

spy And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her

father's household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in
Israel

[even] unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which
Joshua

sent to {spy} out Jericho.

spy And the children of Dan sent of their family five
men

from their coasts, men of valour, from Zorah, and from Eshtaol,
to

{spy} out the land, and to search it; and they said unto them,
Go,

search the land: who when they came to mount Ephraim

, to the house of Micah, they lodged there.

spy Then answered the five men that went to {spy} out

the country of Laish, and said unto their brethren, Do ye know
that

there is in these houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a graven
image,

and a molten image? now therefore consider what ye h

ave to do.

spy And the five men that went to {spy} out the land

went up, [and] came in thither, [and] took the graven image, and
the

ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image: and the priest
stood

in the entering of the gate with the six hundred men

[that were] appointed with weapons of war.

spy <2SA10 -3> And the princes of the children of Ammon said unto

Hanun their lord, Thinkest thou that David doth honour thy
father,

that he hath sent comforters unto thee? hath not David [rather]
sent

his servants unto thee, to search the city, and to {s

py} it out, and to overthrow it?
