sojourn And there was a famine in the land: and
Abram went down into Egypt to {sojourn} there; for the famine
[was] grievous in the land.

sojourn And they said, Stand back. And they said
[again], This one [fellow] came in to {sojourn}, and he will
needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with
them. And they pressed sore upon the man, [even] Lot, and came
near to b

reak the door.

sojourn {Sojourn} in this land, and I will be with
thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I
will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which
I sware unto Abraham thy father;

sojourn They said moreover unto Pharaoh, For to
{sojourn} in the land are we come; for thy servants have no
pasture for their flocks; for the famine [is] sore in the land
of Canaan: now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell
in the lan

d of Goshen.

sojourn And when a stranger shall {sojourn} with
thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males
be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he
shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised
pers

on shall eat thereof.

sojourn And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man
[there be] of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which
{sojourn} among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice,

sojourn And whatsoever man [there be] of the house
of Israel, or of the strangers that {sojourn} among you, that
eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that
soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his peopl

e.

sojourn And whatsoever man [there be] of the
children of Israel, or of the strangers that {sojourn} among you,
which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten;
he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.

sojourn And if a stranger {sojourn} with thee in
your land, ye shall not vex him.

sojourn Again, thou shalt say to the children of
Israel, Whosoever [he be] of the children of Israel, or of the
strangers that {sojourn} in Israel, that giveth [any] of his
seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of
the la

nd shall stone him with stones.

sojourn Moreover of the children of the strangers
that do {sojourn} among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their
families that [are] with you, which they begat in your land: and
they shall be your possession.

sojourn And if a stranger shall {sojourn} among you,
and will keep the passover unto the LORD; according to the
ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof,
so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance, both for the
stranger,

and for him that was born in the land.

sojourn And if a stranger {sojourn} with you, or
whosoever [be] among you in your generations, and will offer an
offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; as ye do,
so he shall do.

sojourn And the man departed out of the city from
Bethlehemjudah to {sojourn} where he could find [a place]: and
he came to mount Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.

sojourn And Micah said unto him, Whence comest thou?
And he said unto him, I [am] a Levite of Bethlehemjudah, and I
go to {sojourn} where I may find [a place].

sojourn Now it came to pass in the days when the
judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain
man of Bethlehemjudah went to {sojourn} in the country of Moab,
he, and his wife, and his two sons.

sojourn <1KI17 -20> And he cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD
my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I
{sojourn}, by slaying her son?

sojourn <2KI8 -1> Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he
had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine
household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst {sojourn}: for the
LORD hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the
lan

d seven years.

sojourn <2KI8 -1> Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he
had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine
household, and {sojourn} wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the
LORD hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the
lan

d seven years.

sojourn Woe is me, that I {sojourn} in Mesech,
[that] I dwell in the tents of Kedar!

sojourn Is] this your joyous [city], whose antiquity
[is] of ancient days? her own feet shall carry her afar off to
{sojourn}.

sojourn For thus saith the Lord GOD, My people went
down aforetime into Egypt to {sojourn} there; and the Assyrian
oppressed them without cause.

sojourn And now therefore hear the word of the LORD,
ye remnant of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel; If ye wholly set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go
to {sojourn} there;

sojourn So shall it be with all the men that set
their faces to go into Egypt to {sojourn} there; they shall die
by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: and none of
them shall remain or escape from the evil that I will bring upon
t

hem.

sojourn Now therefore know certainly that ye shall
die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, in the
place whither ye desire to go [and] to {sojourn}.

sojourn Then spake Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and
Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying unto
Jeremiah, Thou speakest falsely: the LORD our God hath not sent
thee to say, Go not into Egypt to {sojourn} there:

sojourn And I will take the remnant of Judah, that
have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to {sojourn}
there, and they shall all be consumed, [and] fall in the land of
Egypt; they shall [even] be consumed by the sword [and] by the f

amine: they shall die, from the least even unto the greatest, by
the sword and by the famine: and they shall be an execration,
[and] an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach.

sojourn So that none of the remnant of Judah, which
are gone into the land of Egypt to {sojourn} there, shall escape
or remain, that they should return into the land of Judah, to
the which they have a desire to return to dwell there: for none

shall return but such as shall escape.

sojourn Yet a small number that escape the sword
shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah,
and all the remnant of Judah, that are gone into the land of
Egypt to {sojourn} there, shall know whose words shall stand,
mine, or

theirs.

sojourn They cried unto them, Depart ye; [it is]
unclean; depart, depart, touch not: when they fled away and
wandered, they said among the heathen, They shall no more
{sojourn} [there].

sojourn And I will purge out from among you the
rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them
forth out of the country where they {sojourn}, and they shall
not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I [am]
the L

ORD.

sojourn And it shall come to pass, [that] ye shall
divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the
strangers that {sojourn} among you, which shall beget children
among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country
among the c

hildren of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among
the tribes of Israel.

sojourn And God spake on this wise, That his seed
should {sojourn} in a strange land; and that they should bring
them into bondage, and entreat them] evil four hundred years.
