siege When thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in

making war against it to take it, thou shalt not destroy the
trees

thereof by forcing an ax against them: for thou mayest eat of
them,

and thou shalt not cut them down (for the tree of the f

ield [is] man's [life]) to employ [them] in the {siege}:

siege And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body,

the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy
God

hath given thee, in the {siege}, and in the straitness, wherewith

thine enemies shall distress thee:

siege So that he will not give to any of them of the

flesh of his children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing

left him in the {siege}, and in the straitness, wherewith thine

enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates.

siege And toward her young one that cometh out from

between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear:
for

she shall eat them for want of all [things] secretly in the
{siege}

and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress th

ee in thy gates.

siege <1KI15 -27> And Baasha the son of Ahijah, of the house of

Issachar, conspired against him; and Baasha smote him at
Gibbethon,

which [belonged] to the Philistines; for Nadab and all Israel
laid

{siege} to Gibbethon.

siege <2CH32 -9> After this did Sennacherib king of Assyria send
his

servants to Jerusalem, (but he [himself laid {siege}] against

Lachish, and all his power with him,) unto Hezekiah king of
Judah,

and unto all Judah that [were] at Jerusalem, saying,

siege <2CH32 -10> Thus saith Sennacherib king of Assyria,
Whereon do

ye trust, that ye abide in the {siege} in Jerusalem?

siege And I will camp against thee round about, and
will

lay {siege} against thee with a mount, and I will raise forts

against thee.

siege And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their

sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every
one

the flesh of his friend in the {siege} and straitness, wherewith

their enemies, and they that seek their lives, shall stra

iten them.

siege And lay {siege} against it, and build a fort
against

it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it,
and

set [battering] rams against it round about.

siege Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and
set it

[for] a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face

against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay {siege}

against it. This [shall be] a sign to the house of Israe

l.

siege Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the
{siege}

of Jerusalem, and thine arm [shall be] uncovered, and thou shalt

prophesy against it.

siege And, behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou

shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast
ended

the days of thy {siege}.

siege Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the
midst

of the city, when the days of the {siege} are fulfilled: and thou

shalt take a third part, [and] smite about it with a knife: and a

third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will d

raw out a sword after them.

siege Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of
troops:

he hath laid {siege} against us: they shall smite the judge of

Israel with a rod upon the cheek.

siege Draw thee waters for the {siege}, fortify thy

strong holds: go into clay, and tread the mortar, make strong the

brickkiln.

siege Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling

unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the
{siege}

both against Judah [and] against Jerusalem.
