sheath <1SA17 -51> Therefore David ran, and stood upon the
Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the {sheath}
thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when
the
Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled.

Gibeon, Amasa went before them. And Joab's garment that he had

on was girded unto him, and upon it a girdle [with] a sword

his {sheath} against all flesh from the south to the north:
sheath That all flesh may know that I the LORD have
drawn
forth my sword out of his {sheath}: it shall not return any more.
sheath Shall I cause [it] to return into his
{sheath}? I
will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the
land of
thy nativity.
sheath Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword
into
the {sheath}: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not
drink it?
