scorn <2KI19 -21> This [is] the word that the LORD hath spoken
concerning him; The virgin the daughter of Zion hath despised
thee,
[and] laughed thee to {scorn}; the daughter of Jerusalem hath
shaken
her head at thee.
scorn <2CH30 -10> So the posts passed from city to city through
the
country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they
laughed
them to {scorn}, and mocked them.
scorn But when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the
servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard [it], they
laughed us to {scorn}, and despised us, and said, What [is] this
thing that ye do? will ye rebel against the king?
scorn And he thought {scorn} to lay hands on Mordecai
alone; for they had showed him the people of Mordecai: wherefore
Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that [were] throughout the
whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, [even] the people of Mordecai.
scorn I am [as] one mocked of his neighbour, who
calleth
upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright [man is]
laughed to
{scorn}.
scorn My friends {scorn} me: [but] mine eye poureth
out
[tears] unto God.
scorn The righteous see [it], and are glad: and the
innocent laugh them to {scorn}.
scorn All they that see me laugh me to {scorn}: they
shoot out the lip, they shake the head, [saying],
scorn Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a
{scorn} and a derision to them that are round about us.
scorn We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a
{scorn} and derision to them that are round about us.
scorn This [is] the word which the LORD hath spoken
concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of Zion, hath despised
thee, [and] laughed thee to {scorn}; the daughter of Jerusalem
hath
shaken her head at thee.
scorn Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou shalt drink of
thy
sister's cup deep and large: thou shalt be laughed to {scorn} and
had in derision; it containeth much.
scorn And they shall scoff at the kings, and the
princes
shall be a {scorn} unto them: they shall deride every strong
hold;
for they shall heap dust, and take it.
scorn He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is
not
dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to {scorn}.
scorn And they laughed him to {scorn}. But when he had
put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the
damsel,
and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was
lying.
scorn And they laughed him to {scorn}, knowing that
she
was dead.
