saith And said, By myself have I sworn, {saith} the

LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not
withheld

thy son, thine only [son]:

saith And he commanded them, saying, Thus shall ye
speak

unto my lord Esau; Thy servant Jacob {saith} thus, I have
sojourned

with Laban, and stayed there until now:

saith And when all the land of Egypt was famished,
the

people cried to Pharaoh for bread: and Pharaoh said unto all the

saith And they said unto him, Wherefore {saith} my
lord

these words? God forbid that thy servants should do according to

this thing:

saith Haste ye, and go up to my father, and say unto
him,

Thus {saith} thy son Joseph, God hath made me lord of all Egypt:

come down unto me, tarry not:

saith And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus {saith}
the

LORD, Israel [is] my son, [even] my firstborn:

I [am] the LORD: behold, I will smite with the rod that [is] in
mine

down

from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.

saith <2KI1 -16> And he said unto him, Thus {saith} the LORD,

Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to inquire of Baalzebub

into the plat [of ground], according to the word of the

LORD.

saith Vanity of vanities, {saith} the Preacher, vanity
of

vanities; all [is] vanity.

saith There is one [alone], and [there is] not a
second;

yea, he hath neither child nor brother: yet [is there] no end of
all

his labour; neither is his eye satisfied with riches; neither

[{saith} he], For whom do I labour, and bereave my soul o

f good? This [is] also vanity, yea, it [is] a sore travail.

saith Behold, this have I found, {saith} the preacher,

[counting] one by one, to find out the account:

saith Yea also, when he that is a fool walketh by the

way, his wisdom faileth [him], and he {saith} to every one
[that] he

[is] a fool.

saith Vanity of vanities, {saith} the preacher; all
[is]

vanity.

saith To what purpose [is] the multitude of your

sacrifices unto me? {saith} the LORD: I am full of the burnt

offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not
in

the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

saith Come now, and let us reason together, {saith}
the

LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as

snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

saith Therefore {saith} the Lord, the LORD of hosts,
the

mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and

avenge me of mine enemies:

saith What mean ye [that] ye beat my people to pieces,

and grind the faces of the poor? {saith} the Lord GOD of hosts.

saith Moreover the LORD {saith}, Because the
daughters of

Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton

eyes, walking and mincing [as] they go, and making a tinkling
with

their feet:

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD, It shall not stand,

neither shall it come to pass.

saith For he {saith}, [Are] not my princes altogether

kings?

saith For he {saith}, By the strength of my hand I
have

done [it], and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed

the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I

have put down the inhabitants like a valiant [man]:

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD of hosts,
O my

people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he

shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against

thee, after the manner of Egypt.

saith For I will rise up against them, saith the
LORD of

hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son,
and

nephew, {saith} the LORD.

saith For I will rise up against them, {saith} the
LORD

of hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, and
son,

and nephew, saith the LORD.

saith I will also make it a possession for the
bittern,

and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the besom of

destruction, {saith} the LORD of hosts.

saith The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and
the

kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as

the glory of the children of Israel, {saith} the LORD of hosts.

saith Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the

shaking of an olive tree, two [or] three berries in the top of
the

uppermost bough, four [or] five in the outmost fruitful branches

thereof, {saith} the LORD God of Israel.

saith And the Egyptians will I give over into the
hand of

a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, {saith} the

Lord, the LORD of hosts.

saith And it was revealed in mine ears by the LORD of

hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till ye

die, {saith} the Lord GOD of hosts.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD of hosts, Go, get
thee

unto this treasurer, [even] unto Shebna, which [is] over the
house,

[and say],

saith In that day, {saith} the LORD of hosts, shall
the

nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut
down,

and fall; and the burden that [was] upon it shall be cut off: for

the LORD hath spoken [it].

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD, Behold, I
lay

in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious
corner

[stone], a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make
haste.

saith And the vision of all is become unto you as the

words of a book that is sealed, which [men] deliver to one that
is

learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he {saith}, I
cannot;

for it [is] sealed:

saith And the book is delivered to him that is not

learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he {saith}, I am not

learned.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD, who redeemed

Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be

ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale.

saith Woe to the rebellious children, {saith} the
LORD,

that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering,

but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:

saith Wherefore thus {saith} the Holy One of Israel,

Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and

perverseness, and stay thereon:

saith For thus {saith} the Lord GOD, the Holy One of

Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness
and in

confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.

saith And he shall pass over to his strong hold for
fear,

and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign, {saith} the LORD,

whose fire [is] in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.

saith Now will I rise, {saith} the LORD; now will I
be

exalted; now will I lift up myself.

saith And Rabshakeh said unto them, Say ye now to

Hezekiah, Thus {saith} the great king, the king of Assyria, What

confidence [is] this wherein thou trustest?

saith Thus {saith} the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive

you: for he shall not be able to deliver you.

saith Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus {saith} the
king

of Assyria, Make [an agreement] with me [by] a present, and come
out

to me: and eat ye every one of his vine, and every one of his fig

tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his own

cistern;

saith And they said unto him, Thus {saith} Hezekiah,
This

day [is] a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of blasphemy: for
the

children are come to the birth, and [there is] not strength to
bring

forth.

saith And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say
unto

your master, Thus {saith} the LORD, Be not afraid of the words
that

thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria
have

blasphemed me.

saith Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah,

saying, Thus {saith} the LORD God of Israel, Whereas thou hast

prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria:

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD concerning the

king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an

arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank

against it.

saith By the way that he came, by the same shall he

return, and shall not come into this city, {saith} the LORD.

saith In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And

Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto
him,

Thus {saith} the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt
die,

and not live.

saith Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus {saith} the LORD,
the

God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy

tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.

saith Behold, the days come, that all that [is] in
thine

house, and [that] which thy fathers have laid up in store until
this

day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, {saith}
the

LORD.

saith Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, {saith} your
God.

saith To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be

equal? {saith} the Holy One.

saith Fear not, thou worm Jacob, [and] ye men of
Israel;

I will help thee, {saith} the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy
One

of Israel.

saith Produce your cause, {saith} the LORD; bring
forth

your strong [reasons], saith the King of Jacob.

saith Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth

your strong [reasons], {saith} the King of Jacob.

saith Thus {saith} God the LORD, he that created the

heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth,
and

that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the
people

upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

saith But this [is] a people robbed and spoiled;
[they

are] all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison
houses:

they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none

{saith}, Restore.

saith But now thus {saith} the LORD that created thee,
O

Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have

redeemed thee, I have called [thee] by thy name; thou [art] mine.

saith Ye [are] my witnesses, {saith} the LORD, and my

servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and

understand that I [am] he: before me there was no God formed,

neither shall there be after me.

saith I have declared, and have saved, and I have

showed, when [there was] no strange [god] among you: therefore ye

[are] my witnesses, {saith} the LORD, that I [am] God.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy
One

of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought

down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry [is] in the

ships.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, which maketh a way in
the

sea, and a path in the mighty waters;

saith Thus {saith} the LORD that made thee, and formed

thee from the womb, [which] will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my

servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD the King of Israel, and
his

redeemer the LORD of hosts; I [am] the first, and I [am] the
last;

and beside me [there is] no God.

saith He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part

thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied:
yea,

he warmeth [himself], and {saith}, Aha, I am warm, I have seen
the

fire:

saith And the residue thereof he maketh a god, [even]

his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth [it],
and

prayeth unto it, and {saith}, Deliver me; for thou [art] my god.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, thy redeemer, and he
that

formed thee from the womb, I [am] the LORD that maketh all
[things];

that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad
the

earth by myself;

saith That confirmeth the word of his servant, and

performeth the counsel of his messengers; that {saith} to
Jerusalem,

Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be

built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:

saith That {saith} to the deep, Be dry, and I will
dry

up thy rivers:

saith That {saith} of Cyrus, [He is] my shepherd, and

shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou
shalt

be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus,

whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him;
and I

will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved

gates; and the gates shall not be shut;

saith Woe unto him that {saith} unto [his] father,
What

begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, the Holy One of Israel,
and

his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and

concerning the work of my hands command ye me.

saith I have raised him up in righteousness, and I
will

direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go
my

captives, not for price nor reward, {saith} the LORD of hosts.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and

merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall

come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come
after

thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fa

ll down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee,
[saying],

Surely God [is] in thee; and [there is] none else, [there is] no

God.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD that created the

heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath

established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be

inhabited: I [am] the LORD; and [there is] none else.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy
One

of Israel; I [am] the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit,

which leadeth thee by the way [that] thou shouldest go.

saith [There is] no peace, {saith} the LORD, unto the

wicked.

saith And now, {saith} the LORD that formed me from
the

womb [to be] his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though
Israel

be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD,

and my God shall be my strength.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel,

[and] his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the

nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and
arise,

princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is fai

thful, [and] the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, In an acceptable time
have I

heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I
will

preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to

establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate h

eritages;

saith Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all

these gather themselves together, [and] come to thee. [As] I
live,

{saith} the LORD, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as

with an ornament, and bind them [on thee], as a bride [d

oeth].

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift
up

mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people:
and

they shall bring thy sons in [their] arms, and thy daughters
shall

be carried upon [their] shoulders.

saith But thus {saith} the LORD, Even the captives of

the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible
shall

be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with
thee,

and I will save thy children.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, Where [is] the bill of
your

mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my
creditors

[is it] to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities
have ye

sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is y

our mother put away.

saith Thus {saith} thy Lord the LORD, and thy God
[that]

pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of
thine

hand the cup of trembling, [even] the dregs of the cup of my
fury;

thou shalt no more drink it again:

saith For thus {saith} the LORD, Ye have sold
yourselves

for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.

saith For thus {saith} the Lord GOD, My people went
down

aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed

them without cause.

saith Now therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD,

that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them

make them to howl, {saith} the LORD; and my name continually
every

day [is] blasphemed.

saith Now therefore, what have I here, {saith} the
LORD,

that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them

make them to howl, saith the LORD; and my name continually every
day

[is] blasphemed.

saith How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of

him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that
bringeth

good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that {saith}
unto

Zion, Thy God reigneth!

saith Sing, O barren, thou [that] didst not bear;
break

forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou [that] didst not travail

with child: for more [are] the children of the desolate than the

children of the married wife, {saith} the LORD.

saith For the LORD hath called thee as a woman
forsaken

and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast
refused,

{saith} thy God.

saith In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a

moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee,

{saith} the LORD thy Redeemer.

saith For the mountains shall depart, and the hills
be

removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither
shall

the covenant of my peace be removed, {saith} the LORD that hath

mercy on thee.

saith No weapon that is formed against thee shall

prosper; and every tongue [that] shall rise against thee in
judgment

thou shalt condemn. This [is] the heritage of the servants of the

LORD, and their righteousness [is] of me, {saith} the LORD

.

saith For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither

[are] your ways my ways, {saith} the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do

justice: for my salvation [is] near to come, and my
righteousness to

be revealed.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD unto the eunuchs that

keep my sabbaths, and choose [the things] that please me, and
take

hold of my covenant;

saith The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of
Israel

{saith}, Yet will I gather [others] to him, beside those that are

gathered unto him.

saith For thus {saith} the high and lofty One that

inhabiteth eternity, whose name [is] Holy; I dwell in the high
and

holy [place], with him also [that is] of a contrite and humble

spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the

heart of the contrite ones.

saith I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to

[him that is] far off, and to [him that is] near, {saith} the
LORD;

and I will heal him.

saith There is] no peace, {saith} my God, to the
wicked.

saith And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto
them

that turn from transgression in Jacob, {saith} the LORD.

saith As for me, this [is] my covenant with them,

{saith} the LORD; My spirit that [is] upon thee, and my words
which

I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor
out

of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy see

d's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

saith As for me, this [is] my covenant with them,
saith

the LORD; My spirit that [is] upon thee, and my words which I
have

put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of
the

mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed'

s seed, {saith} the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

saith Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your
fathers

together, {saith} the LORD, which have burned incense upon the

mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I

measure their former work into their bosom.

saith Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in

the cluster, and [one] {saith}, Destroy it not; for a blessing
[is]

in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not
destroy

them all.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, As the new wine is found
in

the cluster, and [one] saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing
[is] in

it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy
them

all.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD, Behold, my

servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants

shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall

rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:

saith The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and
the

lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust [shall be] the

serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy

mountain, {saith} the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, The heaven [is] my
throne,

and the earth [is] my footstool: where [is] the house that ye
build

unto me? and where [is] the place of my rest?

saith For all those [things] hath mine hand made, and
all

those [things] have been, {saith} the LORD: but to this [man]
will I

look, [even] to [him that is] poor and of a contrite spirit, and

trembleth at my word.

saith Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to
bring

forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut
[the

womb]? {saith} thy God.

saith Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to
bring

forth? {saith} the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut
[the

womb]? saith thy God.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD, Behold, I will
extend

peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a

flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon [her]

sides, and be dandled upon [her] knees.

saith They that sanctify themselves, and purify

themselves in the gardens behind one [tree] in the midst, eating

swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be
consumed

together, {saith} the LORD.

saith And they shall bring all your brethren [for] an

offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in

chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts,
to

my holy mountain Jerusalem, {saith} the LORD, as the childr

en of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house
of

the LORD.

saith And I will also take of them for priests [and]
for

Levites, {saith} the LORD.

saith For as the new heavens and the new earth,
which I

will make, shall remain before me, {saith} the LORD, so shall
your

seed and your name remain.

saith And it shall come to pass, [that] from one new

moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh

come to worship before me, {saith} the LORD.

saith Be not afraid of their faces: for I [am] with
thee

to deliver thee, {saith} the LORD.

saith For, lo, I will call all the families of the

kingdoms of the north, {saith} the LORD; and they shall come, and

they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates
of

Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, a

nd against all the cities of Judah.

saith And they shall fight against thee; but they
shall

not prevail against thee; for I [am] with thee, {saith} the LORD,
to

deliver thee.

saith Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus

{saith} the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the

love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the

wilderness, in a land [that was] not sown.

saith Israel [was] holiness unto the LORD, [and] the

firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend;
evil

shall come upon them, {saith} the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, What iniquity have your

fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have
walked

after vanity, and are become vain?

saith Wherefore I will yet plead with you, {saith} the

LORD, and with your children's children will I plead.

saith Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be

horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, {saith} the LORD.

saith Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy

backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that [it
is]

an evil [thing] and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy

God, and that my fear [is] not in thee, {saith} the Lor

d GOD of hosts.

saith For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take
thee

much soap, [yet] thine iniquity is marked before me, {saith} the

Lord GOD.

saith Wherefore will ye plead with me? ye all have

transgressed against me, {saith} the LORD.

saith They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go

from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her
again?

shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the

harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, {saith}

the LORD.

saith And yet for all this her treacherous sister
Judah

hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly,
{saith}

the LORD.

saith Go and proclaim these words toward the north,
and

say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, {saith} the LORD; [and] I
will

not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I [am] merciful, saith

the LORD, [and] I will not keep [anger] for ever.

saith Go and proclaim these words toward the north,
and

say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; [and] I
will

not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I [am] merciful,
{saith}

the LORD, [and] I will not keep [anger] for ever.

saith Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast

transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy
ways

to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed
my

voice, {saith} the LORD.

saith Turn, O backsliding children, {saith} the LORD;
for

I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and
two of

a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

saith And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied

and increased in the land, in those days, {saith} the LORD, they

shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither

shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neith

er shall they visit [it]; neither shall [that] be done any more.

saith Surely [as] a wife treacherously departeth from
her

husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of
Israel,

{saith} the LORD.

saith If thou wilt return, O Israel, {saith} the LORD,

return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out
of

my sight, then shalt thou not remove.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD to the men of Judah and

Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.

saith And it shall come to pass at that day, {saith}
the

LORD, [that] the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of

the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the
prophets

shall wonder.

saith As keepers of a field, are they against her
round

about; because she hath been rebellious against me, {saith} the

LORD.

saith Shall I not visit for these [things]? {saith} the

LORD: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

saith For the house of Israel and the house of Judah
have

dealt very treacherously against me, {saith} the LORD.

saith Wherefore thus {saith} the LORD God of hosts,

Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy

mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

saith Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O

house of Israel, {saith} the LORD: it [is] a mighty nation, it
[is]

an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not,
neither

understandest what they say.

saith Nevertheless in those days, {saith} the LORD, I

will not make a full end with you.

saith Fear ye not me? {saith} the LORD: will ye not

tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand [for] the
bound

of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and
though

the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prev

ail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?

saith Shall I not visit for these [things]? {saith}
the

LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, They shall

thoroughly glean the remnant of Israel as a vine: turn back thine

hand as a grapegatherer into the baskets.

saith And their houses shall be turned unto others,
[with

their] fields and wives together: for I will stretch out my hand

upon the inhabitants of the land, {saith} the LORD.

saith Were they ashamed when they had committed

abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could
they

blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the
time

[that] I visit them they shall be cast down, {saith} the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and

see, and ask for the old paths, where [is] the good way, and walk

therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We

will not walk [therein].

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD, Behold, I will
lay

stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons

together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall

perish.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, Behold, a people cometh
from

the north country, and a great nation shall be raised from the
sides

of the earth.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel,

Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in

this place.

saith Is this house, which is called by my name,
become a

den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen [it],
{saith}

the LORD.

saith And now, because ye have done all these works,

{saith} the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and

speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered
not;

saith Do they provoke me to anger? {saith} the LORD:
[do

they] not [provoke] themselves to the confusion of their own
faces?

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Behold,
mine

anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man,
and

upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit
of

the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quen

ched.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel;

Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.

saith For the children of Judah have done evil in my

sight, {saith} the LORD: they have set their abominations in the

house which is called by my name, to pollute it.

saith Therefore, behold, the days come, {saith} the
LORD,

that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the
son of

Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in
Tophet,

till there be no place.

saith At that time, {saith} the LORD, they shall bring
out

the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes,
and

the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the

bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their gr

aves:

saith And death shall be chosen rather than life by all

the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which
remain in

all the places whither I have driven them, {saith} the LORD of

hosts.

saith Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus {saith}
the

LORD; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not

return?

saith Were they ashamed when they had committed

abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could
they

blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the
time

of their visitation they shall be cast down, {saith} the LORD.

saith I will surely consume them, {saith} the LORD:

[there shall be] no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree,

and the leaf shall fade; and [the things that] I have given them

shall pass away from them.

saith For, behold, I will send serpents, cockatrices,

among you, which [will] not [be] charmed, and they shall bite
you,

{saith} the LORD.

saith And they bend their tongues [like] their bow
[for]

lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for

they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, {saith} the

LORD.

saith Thine habitation [is] in the midst of deceit;

through deceit they refuse to know me, {saith} the LORD.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, Behold,
I

will melt them, and try them; for how shall I do for the
daughter of

my people?

saith Shall I not visit them for these [things]?
{saith}

the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

saith And the LORD {saith}, Because they have
forsaken my

law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice,
neither

walked therein;

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the
God

of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, [even] this people, with

wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, Consider ye, and

call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for

cunning [women], that they may come:

saith Speak, Thus {saith} the LORD, Even the carcases
of

men shall fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful
after

the harvestman, and none shall gather [them].

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, Let not the wise [man]
glory

in his wisdom, neither let the mighty [man] glory in his might,
let

not the rich [man] glory in his riches:

saith But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he

understandeth and knoweth me, that I [am] the LORD which exercise

lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in

these [things] I delight, {saith} the LORD.

saith Behold, the days come, {saith} the LORD, that I

will punish all [them which are] circumcised with the
uncircumcised;

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, Learn not the way of the

heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the
heathen

are dismayed at them.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD, Behold, I will sling

out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress

them, that they may find [it so].

saith And say thou unto them, Thus {saith} the LORD
God

of Israel; Cursed [be] the man that obeyeth not the words of this

covenant,

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD, Behold, I will

bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and

though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD of the men of

Anathoth, that seek thy life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of

the LORD, that thou die not by our hand:

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD of hosts,
Behold,

I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their
sons

and their daughters shall die by famine:

saith Thus {saith} the LORD against all mine evil

neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my
people

Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land,
and

pluck out the house of Judah from among them.

saith But if they will not obey, I will utterly
pluck up

and destroy that nation, {saith} the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD unto me, Go and get thee a

linen girdle, and put it upon thy loins, and put it not in water.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, After this manner will I
mar

the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.

saith For as the girdle cleaveth to the loins of a
man,

so have I caused to cleave unto me the whole house of Israel and
the

whole house of Judah, {saith} the LORD; that they might be unto
me

for a people, and for a name, and for a praise, and

for a glory: but they would not hear.

saith Therefore thou shalt speak unto them this word;

Thus {saith} the LORD God of Israel, Every bottle shall be filled

with wine: and they shall say unto thee, Do we not certainly know

that every bottle shall be filled with wine?

saith Then shalt thou say unto them, Thus {saith} the

LORD, Behold, I will fill all the inhabitants of this land, even
the

kings that sit upon David's throne, and the priests, and the

prophets, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, with drunke

nness.

saith And I will dash them one against another, even
the

fathers and the sons together, {saith} the LORD: I will not pity,

nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them.

saith This [is] thy lot, the portion of thy measures

from me, {saith} the LORD; because thou hast forgotten me, and

trusted in falsehood.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD unto this people, Thus
have

they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet,
therefore

the LORD doth not accept them; he will now remember their
iniquity,

and visit their sins.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD concerning the

prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they

say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and
famine

shall those prophets be consumed.

saith And it shall come to pass, if they say unto
thee,

Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus
{saith}

the LORD; Such as [are] for death, to death; and such as [are]
for

the sword, to the sword; and such as [are] for the fam

ine, to the famine; and such as [are] for the captivity, to the

captivity.

saith And I will appoint over them four kinds, {saith}

the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls
of

the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.

saith Thou hast forsaken me, {saith} the LORD, thou
art

gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee,

and destroy thee; I am weary with repenting.

saith She that hath borne seven languisheth: she hath

given up the ghost; her sun is gone down while [it was] yet day:
she

hath been ashamed and confounded: and the residue of them will I

deliver to the sword before their enemies, {saith} the L

ORD.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD, If thou
return,

then will I bring thee again, [and] thou shalt stand before me:
and

if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as
my

mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou

unto them.

saith And I will make thee unto this people a fenced

brazen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall
not

prevail against thee: for I [am] with thee to save thee and to

deliver thee, {saith} the LORD.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD concerning the sons
and

concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and
concerning

their mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that

begat them in this land;

saith For thus saith the LORD, Enter not into the
house

of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have
taken

away my peace from this people, {saith} the LORD, [even]

lovingkindness and mercies.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD, Enter not into the
house

of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have
taken

away my peace from this people, saith the LORD, [even]

lovingkindness and mercies.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of

Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your

eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of

gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the
bride.

saith Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your

fathers have forsaken me, {saith} the LORD, and have walked after

other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and
have

forsaken me, and have not kept my law;

saith Therefore, behold, the days come, {saith} the

LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that
brought

up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

saith Behold, I will send for many fishers, {saith}
the

LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many

hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from

every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; Cursed [be] the man that

trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart
departeth

from the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; Take heed to yourselves,

and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring [it] in by the

gates of Jerusalem;

saith And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently

hearken unto me, {saith} the LORD, to bring in no burden through
the

gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath
day,

to do no work therein;

saith O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this

potter? {saith} the LORD. Behold, as the clay [is] in the
potter's

hand, so [are] ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

saith Now therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah,

and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus {saith} the
LORD;

Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against
you:

return ye now every one from his evil way, and make yo

ur ways and your doings good.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD; Ask ye now
among

the heathen, who hath heard such things: the virgin of Israel
hath

done a very horrible thing.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, Go and get a potter's

earthen bottle, and [take] of the ancients of the people, and of
the

ancients of the priests;

saith And say, Hear ye the word of the LORD, O kings
of

Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus {saith} the LORD of
hosts,

the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the

which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle.

saith Therefore, behold, the days come, {saith} the
LORD,

that this place shall no more be called Tophet, nor The valley of

the son of Hinnom, but The valley of slaughter.

saith And shalt say unto them, Thus {saith} the LORD
of

hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as [one]

breaketh a potter's vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and

they shall bury [them] in Tophet, till [there be] no place

to bury.

saith Thus will I do unto this place, {saith} the
LORD,

and to the inhabitants thereof, and [even] make this city as
Tophet:

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel;

Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all her towns all
the

evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have
hardened

their necks, that they might not hear my words.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD, Behold, I will make
thee

a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends: and they shall fall
by

the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold [it]:
and I

will give all Judah into the hand of the king of B

abylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall
slay

them with the sword.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD God of Israel; Behold, I
will

turn back the weapons of war that [are] in your hands, wherewith
ye

fight against the king of Babylon, and [against] the Chaldeans,

which besiege you without the walls, and I will assemb

le them into the midst of this city.

saith And afterward, {saith} the LORD, I will deliver

Zedekiah king of Judah, and his servants, and the people, and
such

as are left in this city from the pestilence, from the sword, and

from the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of

Babylon, and into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of

those that seek their life: and he shall smite them with the
edge of

the sword; he shall not spare them, neither have pity, nor have

mercy.

saith And unto this people thou shalt say, Thus
{saith}

the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way
of

death.

saith For I have set my face against this city for
evil,

and not for good, {saith} the LORD: it shall be given into the
hand

of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.

saith O house of David, thus {saith} the LORD;
Execute

judgment in the morning, and deliver [him that is] spoiled out of

the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like fire, and
burn

that none can quench [it], because of the evil of your

doings.

saith Behold, I [am] against thee, O inhabitant of
the

valley, [and] rock of the plain, {saith} the LORD; which say, Who

shall come down against us? or who shall enter into our
habitations?

saith But I will punish you according to the fruit of

your doings, {saith} the LORD: and I will kindle a fire in the

forest thereof, and it shall devour all things round about it.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; Go down to the house of
the

king of Judah, and speak there this word,

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; Execute ye judgment and

righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the

oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the

fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this pl

ace.

saith But if ye will not hear these words, I swear by

myself, {saith} the LORD, that this house shall become a
desolation.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD unto the king's house
of

Judah; Thou [art] Gilead unto me, [and] the head of Lebanon:
[yet]

surely I will make thee a wilderness, [and] cities [which] are
not

inhabited.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD touching Shallum the
son

of Josiah king of Judah, which reigned instead of Josiah his
father,

which went forth out of this place; He shall not return thither
any

more:

saith That {saith}, I will build me a wide house and

large chambers, and cutteth him out windows; and [it is] ceiled
with

cedar, and painted with vermilion.

saith He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then

[it was] well [with him: was] not this to know me? {saith} the
LORD.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD concerning

Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament
for

him, [saying], Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not
lament

for him, [saying], Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!

saith As] I live, {saith} the LORD, though Coniah the

son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon my right
hand,

yet would I pluck thee thence;

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, Write ye this man

childless, a man [that] shall not prosper in his days: for no
man of

his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and
ruling

any more in Judah.

saith Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter

the sheep of my pasture! {saith} the LORD.

saith Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel
against

the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and

driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit

upon you the evil of your doings, {saith} the LORD.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD God of Israel

against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my
flock,

and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will

visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.

saith And I will set up shepherds over them which
shall

feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither

shall they be lacking, {saith} the LORD.

saith Behold, the days come, {saith} the LORD, that I

will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign
and

prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

saith Therefore, behold, the days come, {saith} the
LORD,

that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up
the

children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

saith For both prophet and priest are profane; yea,
in

my house have I found their wickedness, {saith} the LORD.

saith Wherefore their way shall be unto them as
slippery

[ways] in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall
therein:

for I will bring evil upon them, [even] the year of their

visitation, {saith} the LORD.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD of hosts

concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood,
and

make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of

Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, Hearken not
unto

the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you

vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, [and] not out of
the

mouth of the LORD.

saith Am] I a God at hand, {saith} the LORD, and not
a

God afar off?

saith Can any hide himself in secret places that I
shall

not see him? {saith} the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth?
saith

the LORD.

saith Can any hide himself in secret places that I
shall

not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth?
{saith}

the LORD.

saith The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a

dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word
faithfully.

What [is] the chaff to the wheat? {saith} the LORD.

saith Is] not my word like as a fire? {saith} the
LORD;

and like a hammer [that] breaketh the rock in pieces?

saith Therefore, behold, I [am] against the prophets,

{saith} the LORD, that steal my words every one from his
neighbour.

saith Behold, I [am] against the prophets, {saith}
the

LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.

saith Behold, I [am] against the prophets, saith the

LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He {saith}.

saith Behold, I [am] against them that prophesy false

dreams, {saith} the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people
to

err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not,
nor

commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this p

eople at all, saith the LORD.

saith Behold, I [am] against them that prophesy false

dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to
err

by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor

commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this peo

ple at all, {saith} the LORD.

saith And when this people, or the prophet, or a
priest,

shall ask thee, saying, What [is] the burden of the LORD? thou
shalt

then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, {saith}

the LORD.

saith But since ye say, The burden of the LORD;

therefore thus {saith} the LORD; Because ye say this word, The

burden of the LORD, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall
not

say, The burden of the LORD;

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, the God of Israel; Like

these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away

captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the
land

of the Chaldeans for [their] good.

saith And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten,
they

are so evil; surely thus {saith} the LORD, So will I give
Zedekiah

the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem,

that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the la

nd of Egypt:

saith Yet ye have not hearkened unto me, {saith} the

LORD; that ye might provoke me to anger with the works of your
hands

to your own hurt.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD of hosts;
Because

ye have not heard my words,

saith Behold, I will send and take all the families of

the north, {saith} the LORD, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of
Babylon,

my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against
the

inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations ro

und about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an

astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations.

saith And it shall come to pass, when seventy years
are

accomplished, [that] I will punish the king of Babylon, and that

nation, {saith} the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the

Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD God of Israel unto
me;

Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the

nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.

saith Therefore thou shalt say unto them, Thus
{saith}

the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Drink ye, and be drunken,
and

spue, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I
will

send among you.

saith And it shall be, if they refuse to take the
cup at

thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus {saith}
the

LORD of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink.

saith For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city
which

is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye
shall

not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the

inhabitants of the earth, {saith} the LORD of hosts.

saith A noise shall come [even] to the ends of the

earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will

plead with all flesh; he will give them [that are] wicked to the

sword, {saith} the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil
shall

go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be

raised up from the coasts of the earth.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; Stand in the court of the

LORD'S house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come
to

worship in the LORD'S house, all the words that I command thee to

speak unto them; diminish not a word:

saith And thou shalt say unto them, Thus {saith} the

LORD; If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I
have

set before you,

saith Micah the Morasthite prophesied in the days of

Hezekiah king of Judah, and spake to all the people of Judah,

saying, Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; Zion shall be plowed
[like]

a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain

of the house as the high places of a forest.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD to me; Make thee bonds and

yokes, and put them upon thy neck,

saith And command them to say unto their masters, Thus

{saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say
unto

your masters;

saith And it shall come to pass, [that] the nation and

kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of

Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the
king

of Babylon, that nation will I punish, {saith} the LORD

, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence,

until I have consumed them by his hand.

saith But the nations that bring their neck under the

yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let
remain

still in their own land, {saith} the LORD; and they shall till
it,

and dwell therein.

saith For I have not sent them, {saith} the LORD, yet

they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and
that

ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.

saith Also I spake to the priests and to all this

people, saying, Thus {saith} the LORD; Hearken not to the words
of

your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the
vessels of

the LORD'S house shall now shortly be brought again from

Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD of hosts concerning
the

pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and

concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city,

saith Yea, thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of

Israel, concerning the vessels that remain [in] the house of the

LORD, and [in] the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem;

saith They shall be carried to Babylon, and there
shall

they be until the day that I visit them, {saith} the LORD; then
will

I bring them up, and restore them to this place.

saith And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah
the

son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah,
that

went into Babylon, {saith} the LORD: for I will break the yoke of

the king of Babylon.

saith And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the

people, saying, Thus {saith} the LORD; Even so will I break the
yoke

of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations

within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremia

h went his way.

saith Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus {saith} the

LORD; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for

them yokes of iron.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of

Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these

nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and

they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the fie

ld also.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD; Behold, I will

cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt
die,

because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel,

unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be

carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon;

saith For thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of

Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that [be] in the

midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which
ye

cause to be dreamed.

saith For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I

have not sent them, {saith} the LORD.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD, That after seventy

years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my

good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.

saith For I know the thoughts that I think toward
you,

{saith} the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give
you an

expected end.

saith And I will be found of you, {saith} the LORD:
and

I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all
the

nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith

the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place w

hence I caused you to be carried away captive.

saith And I will be found of you, saith the LORD:
and I

will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the

nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you,
{saith}

the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place w

hence I caused you to be carried away captive.

saith Know] that thus {saith} the LORD of the king
that

sitteth upon the throne of David, and of all the people that

dwelleth in this city, [and] of your brethren that are not gone

forth with you into captivity;

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will

send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and
will

make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.

saith Because they have not hearkened to my words,

{saith} the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the

prophets, rising up early and sending [them]; but ye would not
hear,

saith the LORD.

saith Because they have not hearkened to my words,
saith

the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets,
rising

up early and sending [them]; but ye would not hear, {saith} the

LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel,

of Ahab the son of Kolaiah, and of Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah,

which prophesy a lie unto you in my name; Behold, I will deliver

them into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; an

d he shall slay them before your eyes;

saith Because they have committed villany in Israel,
and

have committed adultery with their neighbours' wives, and have

spoken lying words in my name, which I have not commanded them;
even

I know, and [am] a witness, {saith} the LORD.

saith Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus

{saith} the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite; Because that

Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he
caused

you to trust in a lie:

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD; Behold, I will

punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seed: he shall not have a

man to dwell among this people; neither shall he behold the good

that I will do for my people, saith the LORD; because he h

ath taught rebellion against the LORD.

saith Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will

punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seed: he shall not have a

man to dwell among this people; neither shall he behold the good

that I will do for my people, {saith} the LORD; because he h

ath taught rebellion against the LORD.

saith For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I
will

bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, {saith}
the

LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to

their fathers, and they shall possess it.

saith For, lo, the days come, {saith} the LORD, that I

will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah,
saith

the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I
gave to

their fathers, and they shall possess it.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD; We have heard a
voice of

trembling, of fear, and not of peace.

saith For it shall come to pass in that day, {saith}
the

LORD of hosts, [that] I will break his yoke from off thy neck,
and

will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve
themselves

of him:

saith Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob,

{saith} the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will

save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their
captivity;

and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet,

and none shall make [him] afraid.

saith For I [am] with thee, {saith} the LORD, to save

thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have

scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I
will

correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether u

npunished.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD, Thy bruise [is]

incurable, [and] thy wound [is] grievous.

saith For I will restore health unto thee, and I will

heal thee of thy wounds, {saith} the LORD; because they called
thee

an Outcast, [saying], This [is] Zion, whom no man seeketh after.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; Behold, I will bring
again

the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have mercy on his

dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap,
and

the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.

saith And their nobles shall be of themselves, and
their

governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause
him

to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who [is] this
that

engaged his heart to approach unto me? {saith} the

LORD.

saith At the same time, {saith} the LORD, will I be
the

God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, The people [which were]
left

of the sword found grace in the wilderness; [even] Israel, when I

went to cause him to rest.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD; Sing with gladness
for

Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye,
praise

ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.

saith And I will satiate the soul of the priests with

fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness,
{saith}

the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; A voice was heard in
Ramah,

lamentation, [and] bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children

refused to be comforted for her children, because they [were]
not.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; Refrain thy voice from

weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be
rewarded,

saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the

enemy.

saith Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from

weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be
rewarded,

{saith} the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the

enemy.

saith And there is hope in thine end, {saith} the
LORD,

that thy children shall come again to their own border.

saith Is] Ephraim my dear son? [is he] a pleasant
child?

for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still:

therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have
mercy

upon him, {saith} the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel;

As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the

cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The
LORD

bless thee, O habitation of justice, [and] mountain o

f holiness.

saith Behold, the days come, {saith} the LORD, that I

will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the
seed of

man, and with the seed of beast.

saith And it shall come to pass, [that] like as I
have

watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw

down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them,
to

build, and to plant, {saith} the LORD.

saith Behold, the days come, {saith} the LORD, that I

will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the

house of Judah:

saith Not according to the covenant that I made with

their fathers in the day [that] I took them by the hand to bring

them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake,

although I was an husband unto them, {saith} the LORD:

saith But this [shall be] the covenant that I will
make

with the house of Israel; After those days, {saith} the LORD, I
will

put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts;
and

will be their God, and they shall be my people.

saith And they shall teach no more every man his

neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for

they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest
of

them, {saith} the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, an

d I will remember their sin no more.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, which giveth the sun
for a

light by day, [and] the ordinances of the moon and of the stars
for

a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof

roar; The LORD of hosts [is] his name:

saith If those ordinances depart from before me,
{saith}

the LORD, [then] the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a

nation before me for ever.

saith Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be

measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath,
I

will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have

done, {saith} the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; If heaven above can be

measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath,
I

will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have

done, saith the LORD.

saith Behold, the days come, {saith} the LORD, that
the

city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto
the

gate of the corner.

saith For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up,
saying,

Wherefore dost thou prophesy, and say, Thus {saith} the LORD,

Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of
Babylon,

and he shall take it;

saith And he shall lead Zedekiah to Babylon, and there

shall he be until I visit him, {saith} the LORD: though ye fight

with the Chaldeans, ye shall not prosper.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel;

Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which
is

sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an
earthen

vessel, that they may continue many days.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of

Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again
in

this land.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD; Behold, I will

give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand
of

Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it:

saith For the children of Israel and the children of

Judah have only done evil before me from their youth: for the

children of Israel have only provoked me to anger with the work
of

their hands, {saith} the LORD.

saith And now therefore thus {saith} the LORD, the
God

of Israel, concerning this city, whereof ye say, It shall be

delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and
by

the famine, and by the pestilence;

saith For thus {saith} the LORD; Like as I have
brought

all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them
all

the good that I have promised them.

saith Men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe

evidences, and seal [them], and take witnesses in the land of

Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of

Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of

the valley, and in the cities of the south: for I will cause
their

captivity to return, {saith} the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD the maker thereof, the
LORD

that formed it, to establish it; the LORD [is] his name;

saith For thus {saith} the LORD, the God of Israel,

concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of
the

kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the

sword;

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; Again there shall be
heard

in this place, which ye say [shall be] desolate without man and

without beast, [even] in the cities of Judah, and in the streets
of

Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without

inhabitant, and without beast,

saith The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness,
the

voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of

them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD [is]

good; for his mercy [endureth] for ever: [and] of them th

at shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the
LORD.

For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the

first, {saith} the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; Again in this

place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in
all

the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing

[their] flocks to lie down.

saith In the cities of the mountains, in the cities
of

the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of

Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of

Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him tha

t telleth [them], {saith} the LORD.

saith Behold, the days come, {saith} the LORD, that I

will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the
house of

Israel and to the house of Judah.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD; David shall never
want

a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; If ye can break my
covenant

of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should
not

be day and night in their season;

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; If my covenant [be] not

with day and night, [and if] I have not appointed the ordinances
of

heaven and earth;

saith Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and

speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus {saith} the

LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of

Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire:

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and

speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the
LORD;

Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of
Babylon,

and he shall burn it with fire:

saith Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king
of

Judah; Thus {saith} the LORD of thee, Thou shalt not die by the

sword:

saith But] thou shalt die in peace: and with the
burnings

of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall

they burn [odours] for thee; and they will lament thee, [saying],
Ah

lord! for I have pronounced the word, {saith} the L

ORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, the God of Israel; I
made a

covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth
out

of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying,

saith Therefore thus saith the LORD; Ye have not

hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his
brother,

and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for

you, {saith} the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and

to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the

kingdoms of the earth.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD; Ye have not

hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his
brother,

and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for

you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and

to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the

kingdoms of the earth.

saith Behold, I will command, {saith} the LORD, and

cause them to return to this city; and they shall fight against
it,

and take it, and burn it with fire: and I will make the cities of

Judah a desolation without an inhabitant.

saith Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel;

Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem,
Will

ye not receive instruction to hearken to my words? {saith} the
LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel;

Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem,
Will

ye not receive instruction to hearken to my words? saith the
LORD.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD God of hosts,
the

God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the

inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced
against

them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have n

ot heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not
answered.

saith And Jeremiah said unto the house of the

Rechabites, Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;

Because ye have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father,
and

kept all his precepts, and done according unto all that he hath
com

manded you:

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the
God

of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to
stand

before me for ever.

saith And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah,

Thus {saith} the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why
hast

thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly

come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease fro

m thence man and beast?

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD of Jehoiakim
king

of Judah; He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David: and

his dead body shall be cast out in the day to the heat, and in
the

night to the frost.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, the God of Israel; Thus

shall ye say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to
inquire

of me; Behold, Pharaoh's army, which is come forth to help you,

shall return to Egypt into their own land.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; Deceive not yourselves,

saying, The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us: for they shall

not depart.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, He that remaineth in this

city shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the
pestilence:

but he that goeth forth to the Chaldeans shall live; for he shall

have his life for a prey, and shall live.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, This city shall surely be

given into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, which shall
take

it.

saith Then said Jeremiah unto Zedekiah, Thus {saith}
the

LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; If thou wilt
assuredly go

forth unto the king of Babylon's princes, then thy soul shall
live,

and this city shall not be burned with fire; and

thou shalt live, and thine house:

saith Go and speak to Ebedmelech the Ethiopian,
saying,

Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will

bring my words upon this city for evil, and not for good; and
they

shall be [accomplished] in that day before thee.

saith But I will deliver thee in that day, {saith}
the

LORD: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of
whom

thou [art] afraid.

saith For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt
not

fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee:

because thou hast put thy trust in me, {saith} the LORD.

saith And said unto them, Thus {saith} the LORD, the
God

of Israel, unto whom ye sent me to present your supplication
before

him;

saith Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom
ye

are afraid; be not afraid of him, {saith} the LORD: for I [am]
with

you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand.

saith And now therefore hear the word of the LORD, ye

remnant of Judah; Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel;

If ye wholly set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to
sojourn

there;

saith For thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of

Israel; As mine anger and my fury hath been poured forth upon the

inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured forth upon
you,

when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an exec

ration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye

shall see this place no more.

saith And say unto them, Thus {saith} the LORD of
hosts,

the God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar
the

king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these

stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal p

avilion over them.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel;

Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and

upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they [are] a

desolation, and no man dwelleth therein,

saith Therefore now thus {saith} the LORD, the God of

hosts, the God of Israel; Wherefore commit ye [this] great evil

against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and

suckling, out of Judah, to leave you none to remain;

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the
God

of Israel; Behold, I will set my face against you for evil, and
to

cut off all Judah.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel,

saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and

fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows

that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of hea

ven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely

accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.

saith Therefore hear ye the word of the LORD, all
Judah

that dwell in the land of Egypt; Behold, I have sworn by my great

name, {saith} the LORD, that my name shall no more be named in
the

mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, sa

ying, The Lord GOD liveth.

saith And this [shall be] a sign unto you, {saith}
the

LORD, that I will punish you in this place, that ye may know
that my

words shall surely stand against you for evil:

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; Behold, I will give

Pharaohhophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and
into

the hand of them that seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah king of

Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enem

y, and that sought his life.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD, the God of Israel, unto

thee, O Baruch;

saith Thus shalt thou say unto him, The LORD {saith}

thus; Behold, [that] which I have built will I break down, and
that

which I have planted I will pluck up, even this whole land.

saith And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek

[them] not: for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh,
{saith}

the LORD: but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all

places whither thou goest.

saith Wherefore have I seen them dismayed [and] turned

away back? and their mighty ones are beaten down, and are fled

apace, and look not back: [for] fear [was] round about, {saith}
the

LORD.

saith Egypt riseth up like a flood, and [his] waters
are

moved like the rivers; and he {saith}, I will go up, [and] will

cover the earth; I will destroy the city and the inhabitants

thereof.

saith As] I live, {saith} the King, whose name [is]
the

LORD of hosts, Surely as Tabor [is] among the mountains, and as

Carmel by the sea, [so] shall he come.

saith They shall cut down her forest, {saith} the
LORD,

though it cannot be searched; because they are more than the

grasshoppers, and [are] innumerable.

saith The LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, {saith};

Behold, I will punish the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and
Egypt,

with their gods, and their kings; even Pharaoh, and [all] them
that

trust in him:

saith And I will deliver them into the hand of those

that seek their lives, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king
of

Babylon, and into the hand of his servants: and afterward it
shall

be inhabited, as in the days of old, {saith} the LORD.

saith Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, {saith} the

LORD: for I [am] with thee; for I will make a full end of all the

nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a full
end

of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leav

e thee wholly unpunished.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; Behold, waters rise up
out

of the north, and shall be an overflowing flood, and shall
overflow

the land, and all that is therein; the city, and them that dwell

therein: then the men shall cry, and all the inhabitant

s of the land shall howl.

saith Against Moab thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the

God of Israel; Woe unto Nebo! for it is spoiled: Kiriathaim is

confounded [and] taken: Misgab is confounded and dismayed.

saith Therefore, behold, the days come, {saith} the

LORD, that I will send unto him wanderers, that shall cause him
to

wander, and shall empty his vessels, and break their bottles.

saith Moab is spoiled, and gone up [out of] her
cities,

and his chosen young men are gone down to the slaughter, {saith}
the

King, whose name [is] the LORD of hosts.

saith The horn of Moab is cut off, and his arm is

broken, {saith} the LORD.

saith I know his wrath, {saith} the LORD; but [it
shall]

not [be] so; his lies shall not so effect [it].

saith Moreover I will cause to cease in Moab, {saith}

the LORD, him that offereth in the high places, and him that
burneth

incense to his gods.

saith There shall be] lamentation generally upon all
the

housetops of Moab, and in the streets thereof: for I have broken

Moab like a vessel wherein [is] no pleasure, {saith} the LORD.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD; Behold, he shall
fly as

an eagle, and shall spread his wings over Moab.

saith Fear, and the pit, and the snare, [shall be]
upon

thee, O inhabitant of Moab, {saith} the LORD.

saith He that fleeth from the fear shall fall into
the

pit; and he that getteth up out of the pit shall be taken in the

snare: for I will bring upon it, [even] upon Moab, the year of
their

visitation, {saith} the LORD.

saith Yet will I bring again the captivity of Moab in

the latter days, {saith} the LORD. Thus far [is] the judgment of

Moab.

saith Concerning the Ammonites, thus {saith} the LORD;

Hath Israel no sons? hath he no heir? why [then] doth their king

inherit Gad, and his people dwell in his cities?

saith Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the
LORD,

that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard in Rabbah of the

Ammonites; and it shall be a desolate heap, and her daughters
shall

be burned with fire: then shall Israel be heir unto them

that were his heirs, {saith} the LORD.

saith Therefore, behold, the days come, {saith} the
LORD,

that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard in Rabbah of the

Ammonites; and it shall be a desolate heap, and her daughters
shall

be burned with fire: then shall Israel be heir unto the

m that were his heirs, saith the LORD.

saith Behold, I will bring a fear upon thee, {saith}
the

Lord GOD of hosts, from all those that be about thee; and ye
shall

be driven out every man right forth; and none shall gather up him

that wandereth.

saith And afterward I will bring again the captivity
of

the children of Ammon, {saith} the LORD.

saith Concerning Edom, thus {saith} the LORD of hosts;

[Is] wisdom no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the
prudent?

is their wisdom vanished?

saith For thus {saith} the LORD; Behold, they whose

judgment [was] not to drink of the cup have assuredly drunken;
and

[art] thou he [that] shall altogether go unpunished? thou shalt
not

go unpunished, but thou shalt surely drink [of it].

saith For I have sworn by myself, {saith} the LORD,
that

Bozrah shall become a desolation, a reproach, a waste, and a
curse;

and all the cities thereof shall be perpetual wastes.

saith Thy terribleness hath deceived thee, [and] the

pride of thine heart, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the

rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest

make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down fr

om thence, {saith} the LORD.

saith As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and
the

neighbour [cities] thereof, {saith} the LORD, no man shall abide

there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it.

saith Therefore her young men shall fall in her
streets,

and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, {saith} the

LORD of hosts.

saith Concerning Kedar, and concerning the kingdoms
of

Hazor, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon shall smite, thus

{saith} the LORD; Arise ye, go up to Kedar, and spoil the men of
the

east.

saith Flee, get you far off, dwell deep, O ye

inhabitants of Hazor, {saith} the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king
of

Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a
purpose

against you.

saith Arise, get you up unto the wealthy nation, that

dwelleth without care, {saith} the LORD, which have neither gates

nor bars, [which] dwell alone.

saith And their camels shall be a booty, and the

multitude of their cattle a spoil: and I will scatter into all
winds

them [that are] in the utmost corners; and I will bring their

calamity from all sides thereof, {saith} the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will

break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.

saith For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before
their

enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring
evil

upon them, [even] my fierce anger, {saith} the LORD; and I will
send

the sword after them, till I have consumed them:

saith And I will set my throne in Elam, and will
destroy

from thence the king and the princes, {saith} the LORD.

saith But it shall come to pass in the latter days,

[that] I will bring again the captivity of Elam, {saith} the
LORD.

saith In those days, and in that time, {saith} the
LORD,

the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah

together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD
their

God.

saith And Chaldea shall be a spoil: all that spoil
her

shall be satisfied, {saith} the LORD.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the
God

of Israel; Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his
land,

as I have punished the king of Assyria.

saith In those days, and in that time, {saith} the
LORD,

the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and [there shall be]

none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I
will

pardon them whom I reserve.

saith Go up against the land of Merathaim, [even]

against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and
utterly

destroy after them, {saith} the LORD, and do according to all
that I

have commanded thee.

saith Therefore shall her young men fall in the
streets,

and all her men of war shall be cut off in that day, {saith} the

LORD.

saith Behold, I [am] against thee, [O thou] most
proud,

{saith} the Lord GOD of hosts: for thy day is come, the time
[that]

I will visit thee.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; The children of

Israel and the children of Judah [were] oppressed together: and
all

that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them
go.

saith A sword [is] upon the Chaldeans, {saith} the
LORD,

and upon the inhabitants of Babylon, and upon her princes, and
upon

her wise [men].

saith As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the

neighbour [cities] thereof, {saith} the LORD; [so] shall no man

abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; Behold, I will raise up

against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them

that rise up against me, a destroying wind;

saith And I will render unto Babylon and to all the

inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in
Zion in

your sight, {saith} the LORD.

saith Behold, I [am] against thee, O destroying

mountain, {saith} the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I

will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the

rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.

saith And they shall not take of thee a stone for a

corner, nor a stone for foundations; but thou shalt be desolate
for

ever, {saith} the LORD.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD of hosts, the God of

Israel; The daughter of Babylon [is] like a threshingfloor, [it
is]

time to thresh her: yet a little while, and the time of her
harvest

shall come.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD; Behold, I will

plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up
her

sea, and make her springs dry.

saith In their heat I will make their feasts, and I
will

make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual

sleep, and not wake, {saith} the LORD.

saith Then the heaven and the earth, and all that
[is]

therein, shall sing for Babylon: for the spoilers shall come unto

her from the north, {saith} the LORD.

saith Wherefore, behold, the days come, {saith} the

LORD, that I will do judgment upon her graven images: and through

all her land the wounded shall groan.

saith Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and

though she should fortify the height of her strength, [yet] from
me

shall spoilers come unto her, {saith} the LORD.

saith And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise

[men], her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: and they

shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, {saith} the King,
whose

name [is] the LORD of hosts.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; The broad
walls of

Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates shall be
burned

with fire; and the people shall labour in vain, and the folk in
the

fire, and they shall be weary.

saith The LORD [is] my portion, {saith} my soul;

therefore will I hope in him.

saith Who [is] he [that] {saith}, and it cometh to
pass,

[when] the Lord commandeth [it] not?

saith For [they are] impudent children and
stiffhearted. I

do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus
{saith}

the Lord GOD.

saith And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto
the

children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus

{saith} the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they
will

forbear.

saith But when I speak with thee, I will open thy
mouth,

and thou shalt say unto them, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; He that

heareth, let him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear:
for

they [are] a rebellious house.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; This [is] Jerusalem: I

have set it in the midst of the nations and countries [that are]

round about her.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Because ye

multiplied more than the nations that [are] round about you,
[and]

have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments,

neither have done according to the judgments of the nations

that [are] round about you;

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Behold, I,
even

I, [am] against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of

thee in the sight of the nations.

saith Wherefore, [as] I live, {saith} the Lord GOD;

Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy

detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore
will I

also diminish [thee]; neither shall mine eye spare, neither wil

l I have any pity.

saith And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of

the Lord GOD; Thus {saith} the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to
the

hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, [even] I,
will

bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high

places.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Smite with thine
hand,

and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil
abominations

of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the

famine, and by the pestilence.

saith Also, thou son of man, thus {saith} the Lord GOD

unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four

corners of the land.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil,

behold, is come.

saith And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and
said

unto me, Speak; Thus {saith} the LORD; Thus have ye said, O
house of

Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, [every
one

of] them.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Your slain

whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they [are] the flesh, and
this

[city is] the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the
midst

of it.

saith Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a
sword

upon you, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Therefore say, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD;
Although

I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have

scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a

little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.

saith Therefore say, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; I
will

even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the

countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the
land

of Israel.

saith But [as for them] whose heart walketh after the

heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will

recompense their way upon their own heads, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Say thou unto them, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD;

This burden [concerneth] the prince in Jerusalem, and all the
house

of Israel that [are] among them.

saith And say unto the people of the land, Thus
{saith}

the Lord GOD of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, [and] of the land
of

Israel; They shall eat their bread with carefulness, and drink
their

water with astonishment, that her land may be desol

ate from all that is therein, because of the violence of all them

that dwell therein.

saith Tell them therefore, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD;
I

will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it
as a

proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and
the

effect of every vision.

saith For I [am] the LORD: I will speak, and the word

that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more

prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the

word, and will perform it, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord
GOD;

There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word

which I have spoken shall be done, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Therefore say unto them, Thus {saith} the Lord

GOD; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the

word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish

prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

saith They have seen vanity and lying divination,
saying,

The LORD {saith}: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have

made [others] to hope that they would confirm the word.

saith Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not

spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD {saith} [it];

albeit I have not spoken?

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Because ye

have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I [am]
against

you, saith the Lord GOD.

saith Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye
have

spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I [am] against
you,

{saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; I will
even

rend [it] with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an

overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in [my]
fury

to consume [it].

saith To wit], the prophets of Israel which prophesy

concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and

[there is] no peace, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith And say, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Woe to the

[women] that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon

the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls
of

my people, and will ye save the souls alive [that come] u

nto you?

saith Wherefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Behold, I

[am] against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to
make

[them] fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the

souls go, [even] the souls that ye hunt to make [them]

fly.

saith Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them,
Thus

{saith} the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that
setteth

up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his

iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I

the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude
of

his idols;

saith Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus

{saith} the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn [yourselves] from your
idols;

and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

saith That the house of Israel may go no more astray

from me, neither be polluted any more with all their
transgressions;

but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, {saith}
the

Lord GOD.

saith Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job,

were in it, they should deliver [but] their own souls by their

righteousness, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Though] these three men [were] in it, [as] I
live,

{saith} the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor
daughters;

they only shall be delivered, but the land shall be desolate.

saith Though these three men [were] in it, [as] I
live,

{saith} the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor
daughters,

but they only shall be delivered themselves.

saith Though Noah, Daniel, and Job, [were] in it,
[as] I

live, {saith} the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor

daughter; they shall [but] deliver their own souls by their

righteousness.

saith For thus {saith} the Lord GOD; How much more
when

I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the

famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off
from

it man and beast?

saith And they shall comfort you, when ye see their
ways

and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without

cause all that I have done in it, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; As the vine

tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the
fire

for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

saith And I will make the land desolate, because they

have committed a trespass, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith And say, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD unto
Jerusalem;

Thy birth and thy nativity [is] of the land of Canaan; thy father

[was] an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite.

saith Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee,

behold, thy time [was] the time of love; and I spread my skirt
over

thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and
entered

into a covenant with thee, {saith} the Lord GOD, and

thou becamest mine.

saith And thy renown went forth among the heathen for

thy beauty: for it [was] perfect through my comeliness, which I
had

put upon thee, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith My meat also which I gave thee, fine flour, and

oil, and honey, [wherewith] I fed thee, thou hast even set it
before

them for a sweet savour: and [thus] it was, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith And it came to pass after all thy wickedness,

(woe, woe unto thee! {saith} the Lord GOD;)

saith How weak is thine heart, {saith} the Lord GOD,

seeing thou doest all these [things], the work of an imperious

whorish woman;

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Because thy
filthiness

was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy
whoredoms

with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and
by

the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unt

o them;

saith Because thou hast not remembered the days of
thy

youth, but hast fretted me in all these [things]; behold,
therefore

I also will recompense thy way upon [thine] head, {saith} the
Lord

GOD: and thou shalt not commit this lewdness above al

l thine abominations.

saith As] I live, {saith} the Lord GOD, Sodom thy
sister

hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and

thy daughters.

saith Thou hast borne thy lewdness and thine

abominations, {saith} the LORD.

saith For thus {saith} the Lord GOD; I will even deal

with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in

breaking the covenant.

saith That thou mayest remember, and be confounded,
and

never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am

pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, {saith} the
Lord

GOD.

saith And say, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; A great
eagle

with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers

colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the

cedar:

saith Say thou, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Shall it

prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the

fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the leaves
of

her spring, even without great power or many people to pluc

k it up by the roots thereof.

saith As] I live, {saith} the Lord GOD, surely in the

place [where] the king [dwelleth] that made him king, whose oath
he

despised, and whose covenant he brake, [even] with him in the
midst

of Babylon he shall die.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; [As] I
live,

surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he
hath

broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; I will also take of
the

highest branch of the high cedar, and will set [it]; I will crop
off

from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant [it]

upon an high mountain and eminent:

saith As] I live, {saith} the Lord GOD, ye shall not
have

[occasion] any more to use this proverb in Israel.

saith Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my

judgments, to deal truly; he [is] just, he shall surely live,

{saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked
should

die? {saith} the Lord GOD: [and] not that he should return from
his

ways, and live?

saith Yet {saith} the house of Israel, The way of the

Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are
not

your ways unequal?

saith Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel,

every one according to his ways, {saith} the Lord GOD. Repent,
and

turn [yourselves] from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall

not be your ruin.

saith For I have no pleasure in the death of him that

dieth, {saith} the Lord GOD: wherefore turn [yourselves], and
live

ye.

saith Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and

say unto them, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Are ye come to inquire
of

me? [As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be inquired of by

you.

saith Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and

say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to inquire of

me? [As] I live, {saith} the Lord GOD, I will not be inquired of
by

you.

saith And say unto them, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; In

the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the
seed

of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the
land

of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying,

I [am] the LORD your God;

saith Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of

Israel, and say unto them, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Yet in this

your fathers have blasphemed me, in that they have committed a

trespass against me.

saith Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus

{saith} the Lord GOD; Are ye polluted after the manner of your

fathers? and commit ye whoredom after their abominations?

saith For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your

sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all
your

idols, even unto this day: and shall I be inquired of by you, O

house of Israel? [As] I live, {saith} the Lord GOD, I will

not be inquired of by you.

saith As] I live, {saith} the Lord GOD, surely with a

mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured
out,

will I rule over you:

saith Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the

wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you,
{saith}

the Lord GOD.

saith As for you, O house of Israel, thus {saith} the

Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter
[also],

if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no
more

with your gifts, and with your idols.

saith For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of
the

height of Israel, {saith} the Lord GOD, there shall all the
house of

Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept
them,

and there will I require your offerings, and the

firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things.

saith And ye shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I

have wrought with you for my name's sake, not according to your

wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O ye house of

Israel, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith And say to the forest of the south, Hear the
word

of the LORD; Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a
fire

in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every
dry

tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, an

d all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.

saith And say to the land of Israel, Thus {saith} the

LORD; Behold, I [am] against thee, and will draw forth my sword
out

of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the

wicked.

saith And it shall be, when they say unto thee,
Wherefore

sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it

cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be
feeble,

and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be

weak [as] water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass,

{saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus {saith} the

LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished:

saith Because [it is] a trial, and what if [the
sword]

contemn even the rod? it shall be no [more], {saith} the Lord
GOD.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Because ye

have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your

transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your
sins

do appear; because, [I say], that ye are come to remembrance, ye
s

hall be taken with the hand.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem,
and

take off the crown: this [shall] not [be] the same: exalt [him
that

is] low, and abase [him that is] high.

saith And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus

{saith} the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning
their

reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword [is] drawn: for the

slaughter [it is] furbished, to consume because of the gli

ttering:

saith Then say thou, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD, The
city

sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and

maketh idols against herself to defile herself.

saith In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood;
thou

hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of
thy

neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, {saith} the Lord

GOD.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Because ye

are all become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into
the

midst of Jerusalem.

saith And her prophets have daubed them with
untempered

[mortar], seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying,
Thus

{saith} the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken.

saith Therefore have I poured out mine indignation
upon

them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own
way

have I recompensed upon their heads, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Therefore, O Aholibah, thus {saith} the Lord
GOD;

Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy
mind

is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side;

saith For thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Behold, I will

deliver thee into the hand [of them] whom thou hatest, into the
hand

[of them] from whom thy mind is alienated:

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Thou shalt drink of
thy

sister's cup deep and large: thou shalt be laughed to scorn and
had

in derision; it containeth much.

saith Thou shalt even drink it and suck [it] out, and

thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck off thine own

breasts: for I have spoken [it], {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Because
thou

hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear
thou

also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.

saith For thus {saith} the Lord GOD; I will bring up
a

company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled.

saith And utter a parable unto the rebellious house,
and

say unto them, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set [it]
on,

and also pour water into it:

saith Wherefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Woe to the

bloody city, to the pot whose scum [is] therein, and whose scum
is

not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall

upon it.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Woe to the

bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.

saith I the LORD have spoken [it]: it shall come to

pass, and I will do [it]; I will not go back, neither will I
spare,

neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to
thy

doings, shall they judge thee, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus {saith}
the

Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of

your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul

pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have lef

t shall fall by the sword.

saith And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the

Lord GOD; Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha,

against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land
of

Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Jud

ah, when they went into captivity;

saith For thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Because thou hast

clapped [thine] hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in

heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel;

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and

Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah [is] like unto all the

heathen;

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Because that Edom
hath

dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath

greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; I will
also

stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast
from

it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan
shall

fall by the sword.

saith And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the
hand

of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine

anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance,

{saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Because the
Philistines

have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful

heart, to destroy [it] for the old hatred;

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Behold, I

will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut
off

the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Behold, I
[am]

against thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up

against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up.

saith It shall be [a place for] the spreading of nets
in

the midst of the sea: for I have spoken [it], {saith} the Lord
GOD:

and it shall become a spoil to the nations.

saith For thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Behold, I will
bring

upon Tyrus Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from
the

north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and

companies, and much people.

saith And I will make thee like the top of a rock:
thou

shalt be [a place] to spread nets upon; thou shalt be built no
more:

for I the LORD have spoken [it], {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD to Tyrus; Shall not
the

isles shake at the sound of thy fall, when the wounded cry, when
the

slaughter is made in the midst of thee?

saith For thus {saith} the Lord GOD; When I shall
make

thee a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited;
when I

shall bring up the deep upon thee, and great waters shall cover

thee;

saith I will make thee a terror, and thou [shalt be]
no

[more]: though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou never be found

again, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at
the

entry of the sea, [which art] a merchant of the people for many

isles, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I
[am] of

perfect beauty.

saith Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus

{saith} the Lord GOD; Because thine heart [is] lifted up, and
thou

hast said, I [am] a God, I sit [in] the seat of God, in the
midst of

the seas; yet thou [art] a man, and not God, though tho

u set thine heart as the heart of God:

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Because
thou

hast set thine heart as the heart of God;

saith Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised
by

the hand of strangers: for I have spoken [it], {saith} the Lord
GOD.

saith Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the
king of

Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Thou sealest
up

the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

saith And say, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Behold, I
[am]

against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of
thee:

and they shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I shall have
executed

judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her

.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; When I shall have

gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are

scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the

heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given t

o my servant Jacob.

saith Speak, and say, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD;
Behold,

I [am] against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that

lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river [is]

mine own, and I have made [it] for myself.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Behold, I
will

bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee.

saith Yet thus {saith} the Lord GOD; At the end of
forty

years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they
were

scattered:

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Behold, I

will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon;
and

he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her
prey;

and it shall be the wages for his army.

saith I have given him the land of Egypt [for] his

labour wherewith he served against it, because they wrought for
me,

{saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus {saith} the
Lord

GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day!

saith Thus saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt

shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the

tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, {saith} the
Lord

GOD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; They also that uphold
Egypt

shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the

tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord

GOD.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; I will also make the

multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of

Babylon.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; I will also destroy
the

idols, and I will cause [their] images to cease out of Noph; and

there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will
put

a fear in the land of Egypt.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Behold, I

[am] against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the

strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to

fall out of his hand.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Because
thou

hast lifted up thyself in height, and he hath shot up his top
among

the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height;

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; In the day when he
went

down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for
him,

and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were

stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all t

he trees of the field fainted for him.

saith To whom art thou thus like in glory and in

greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down

with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: thou

shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with [them that be]

slain by the sword. This [is] Pharaoh and all his multitude,
{saith}

the Lord GOD.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; I will therefore
spread

out my net over thee with a company of many people; and they
shall

bring thee up in my net.

saith All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark

over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith For thus {saith} the Lord GOD; The sword of the

king of Babylon shall come upon thee.

saith Then will I make their waters deep, and cause

their rivers to run like oil, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith This [is] the lamentation wherewith they shall

lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they

shall lament for her, [even] for Egypt, and for all her
multitude,

{saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted

over all his multitude, [even] Pharaoh and all his army slain by
the

sword, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith For I have caused my terror in the land of the

living: and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised
with

[them that are] slain with the sword, [even] Pharaoh and all his

multitude, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Say unto them, [As] I live, {saith} the Lord
GOD,

I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the
wicked

turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways;

for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

saith Wherefore say unto them, Thus {saith} the Lord

GOD; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your
idols,

and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land?

saith Say thou thus unto them, Thus {saith} the Lord

GOD; [As] I live, surely they that [are] in the wastes shall
fall by

the sword, and him that [is] in the open field will I give to the

beasts to be devoured, and they that [be] in the forts

and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.

saith Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of

Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD
unto

the shepherds; Woe [be] to the shepherds of Israel that do feed

themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

saith As] I live, {saith} the Lord GOD, surely
because my

flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of
the

field, because [there was] no shepherd, neither did my shepherds

search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves

, and fed not my flock;

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am]
against

the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and
cause

them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds

feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock

from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.

saith For thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Behold, I,
[even]

I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.

saith I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to
lie

down, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith And [as for] you, O my flock, thus {saith} the

Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the

rams and the he goats.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD unto them;

Behold, I, [even] I, will judge between the fat cattle and
between

the lean cattle.

saith Thus shall they know that I the LORD their God

[am] with them, and [that] they, [even] the house of Israel,
[are]

my people, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, [are]

men, [and] I [am] your God, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith And say unto it, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD;
Behold,

O mount Seir, I [am] against thee, and I will stretch out mine
hand

against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.

saith Therefore, [as] I live, {saith} the Lord GOD, I

will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith
thou

hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.

saith Therefore, [as] I live, {saith} the Lord GOD, I

will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine
envy

which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will
make

myself known among them, when I have judged thee.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; When the whole earth

rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Because the enemy
hath

said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in

possession:

saith Therefore prophesy and say, Thus {saith} the
Lord

GOD; Because they have made [you] desolate, and swallowed you up
on

every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the

heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, a

nd [are] an infamy of the people:

saith Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the
word of

the Lord GOD; Thus {saith} the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to
the

hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes,

and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a

prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that [are] round

about;

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Surely in
the

fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the

heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land
into

their possession with the joy of all [their] heart, with de

spiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.

saith Prophesy therefore concerning the land of
Israel,

and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and
to

the valleys, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in
my

jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the s

hame of the heathen:

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; I have
lifted

up mine hand, Surely the heathen that [are] about you, they shall

bear their shame.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Because they say
unto

you, Thou [land] devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations;

saith Therefore thou shalt devour men no more,
neither

bereave thy nations any more, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Neither will I cause [men] to hear in thee the

shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou bear the
reproach

of the people any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations to
fall

any more, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus

{saith} the Lord GOD; I do not [this] for your sakes, O house of

Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned
among

the heathen, whither ye went.

saith And I will sanctify my great name, which was

profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst
of

them; and the heathen shall know that I [am] the LORD, {saith}
the

Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their e

yes.

saith Not for your sakes do I [this], {saith} the
Lord

GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own

ways, O house of Israel.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; In the day that I
shall

have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause
[you]

to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; I will yet [for]
this

be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do [it] for them; I
will

increase them with men like a flock.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD unto these bones;
Behold,

I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

saith Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind,

prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus {saith} the Lord

GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these

slain, that they may live.

saith Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus
{saith}

the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and

cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the
land

of Israel.

saith And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall
live,

and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I

the LORD have spoken [it], and performed [it], {saith} the LORD.

saith Say unto them, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD;
Behold,

I will take the stick of Joseph, which [is] in the hand of
Ephraim,

and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him,

[even] with the stick of Judah, and make them one sti

ck, and they shall be one in mine hand.

saith And say unto them, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD;

Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the
heathen,

whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and
bring

them into their own land:

saith And say, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Behold, I
[am]

against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; It shall also come
to

pass, [that] at the same time shall things come into thy mind,
and

thou shalt think an evil thought:

saith Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto
Gog,

Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel

dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know [it]?

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; [Art] thou he of
whom I

have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel,
which

prophesied in those days [many] years that I would bring thee

against them?

saith And it shall come to pass at the same time when

Gog shall come against the land of Israel, {saith} the Lord GOD,

[that] my fury shall come up in my face.

saith And I will call for a sword against him
throughout

all my mountains, {saith} the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall
be

against his brother.

saith Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against
Gog,

and say, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee,
O

Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

saith Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have

spoken [it], {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Behold, it is come, and it is done, {saith} the

Lord GOD; this [is] the day whereof I have spoken.

saith So that they shall take no wood out of the
field,

neither cut down [any] out of the forests; for they shall burn
the

weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them,
and

rob those that robbed them, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Yea, all the people of the land shall bury
[them];

and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be
glorified,

{saith} the Lord GOD.

saith And, thou son of man, thus {saith} the Lord
GOD;

Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field,

Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side
to my

sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, [even] a great

sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh,
and

drink blood.

saith Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses

and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, {saith}
the

Lord GOD.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Now will I

bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole

house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;

saith Neither will I hide my face any more from them:

for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, {saith}

the Lord GOD.

saith And he said unto me, Son of man, thus {saith}
the

Lord GOD; These [are] the ordinances of the altar in the day when

they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to

sprinkle blood thereon.

saith And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites

that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister

unto me, {saith} the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin
offering.

saith And when these days are expired, it shall be,

[that] upon the eighth day, and [so] forward, the priests shall
make

your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings;
and I

will accept you, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith And thou shalt say to the rebellious, [even] to
the

house of Israel, Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; O ye house of Israel,

let it suffice you of all your abominations,

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; No stranger,

uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter
into

my sanctuary, of any stranger that [is] among the children of

Israel.

saith Because they ministered unto them before their

idols, and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity;

therefore have I lifted up mine hand against them, {saith} the
Lord

GOD, and they shall bear their iniquity.

saith But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok,

that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel

went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto
me,

and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat

and the blood, {saith} the Lord GOD:

saith And in the day that he goeth into the
sanctuary,

unto the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he shall
offer

his sin offering, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Thus saith the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, O

princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute
judgment

and justice, take away your exactions from my people, {saith} the

Lord GOD.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, O

princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute
judgment

and justice, take away your exactions from my people, saith the
Lord

GOD.

saith And one lamb out of the flock, out of two
hundred,

out of the fat pastures of Israel; for a meat offering, and for a

burnt offering, and for peace offerings, to make reconciliation
for

them, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; In the first
[month],

in the first [day] of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock

without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary:

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner

court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working

days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of
the

new moon it shall be opened.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; If the prince give a

gift unto any of his sons, the inheritance thereof shall be his

sons'; it [shall be] their possession by inheritance.

saith Thus {saith} the Lord GOD; This [shall be] the

border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve

tribes of Israel: Joseph [shall have two] portions.

saith And it shall come to pass, [that] in what tribe

the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give [him] his
inheritance,

{saith} the Lord GOD.

saith This [is] the land which ye shall divide by lot

unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these [are] their

portions, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim,

wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with
her

earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and
forgat

me, {saith} the LORD.

saith And it shall be at that day, {saith} the LORD,

[that] thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali.

saith And it shall come to pass in that day, I will
hear,

{saith} the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear
the

earth;

saith They shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt, and
as

a dove out of the land of Assyria: and I will place them in their

houses, {saith} the LORD.

saith Therefore also now, {saith} the LORD, turn ye

[even] to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with

weeping, and with mourning:

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; For three transgressions
of

Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment]

thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing

instruments of iron:

saith I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut
off

the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the

sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go

into captivity unto Kir, {saith} the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; For three transgressions
of

Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment]
thereof;

because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver

[them] up to Edom:

saith And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod,
and

him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine

hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall
perish,

{saith} the Lord GOD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; For three transgressions
of

Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment]
thereof;

because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and

remembered not the brotherly covenant:

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; For three transgressions
of

Edom, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment]
thereof;

because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast
off

all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he

kept his wrath for ever:

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; For three transgressions
of

the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away [the

punishment] thereof; because they have ripped up the women with

child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border:

saith And their king shall go into captivity, he and
his

princes together, {saith} the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; For three transgressions
of

Moab, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment]
thereof;

because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:

saith And I will cut off the judge from the midst
thereof,

and will slay all the princes thereof with him, {saith} the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; For three transgressions
of

Judah, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment]
thereof;

because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept

his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, a

fter the which their fathers have walked:

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; For three transgressions
of

Israel, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment]
thereof;

because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a
pair

of shoes;

saith And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and
of

your young men for Nazarites. [Is it] not even thus, O ye
children

of Israel? {saith} the LORD.

saith And [he that is] courageous among the mighty
shall

flee away naked in that day, {saith} the LORD.

saith For they know not to do right, {saith} the LORD,

who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the Lord GOD; An
adversary

[there shall be] even round about the land; and he shall bring
down

thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; As the shepherd taketh
out

of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall

the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the

corner of a bed, and in Damascus [in] a couch.

saith Hear ye, and testify in the house of Jacob,
{saith}

the Lord GOD, the God of hosts,

saith And I will smite the winter house with the
summer

house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses

shall have an end, {saith} the LORD.

saith And ye shall go out at the breaches, every [cow
at

that which is] before her; and ye shall cast [them] into the
palace,

{saith} the LORD.

saith And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with
leaven,

and proclaim [and] publish the free offerings: for this liketh
you,

O ye children of Israel, {saith} the Lord GOD.

saith And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in
all

your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye
not

returned unto me, {saith} the LORD.

saith So two [or] three cities wandered unto one city,
to

drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not
returned

unto me, {saith} the LORD.

saith I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when

your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive

trees increased, the palmerworm devoured [them]: yet have ye not

returned unto me, {saith} the LORD.

saith I have sent among you the pestilence after the

manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and

have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your
camps

to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned u

nto me, {saith} the LORD.

saith I have overthrown [some] of you, as God
overthrew

Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the

burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, {saith} the LORD.

saith For thus {saith} the Lord GOD; The city that went

out [by] a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which went

forth [by] an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD unto the house of
Israel,

Seek ye me, and ye shall live:

saith Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the Lord,

{saith} thus; Wailing [shall be] in all streets; and they shall
say

in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the
husbandman

to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to

wailing.

saith And in all vineyards [shall be] wailing: for I
will

pass through thee, {saith} the LORD.

saith Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity

beyond Damascus, {saith} the LORD, whose name [is] The God of
hosts.

saith The Lord GOD hath sworn by himself, {saith} the
LORD

the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his

palaces: therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is

therein.

saith But, behold, I will raise up against you a
nation,

O house of Israel, {saith} the LORD the God of hosts; and they
shall

afflict you from the entering in of Hemath unto the river of the

wilderness.

saith The LORD repented for this: It shall not be,
{saith}

the LORD.

saith The LORD repented for this: This also shall not
be,

{saith} the Lord GOD.

saith For thus Amos {saith}, Jeroboam shall die by the

sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their
own

land.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD; Thy wife shall
be

an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall
by

the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt
die

in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go int

o captivity forth of his land.

saith And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in

that day, {saith} the Lord GOD: [there shall be] many dead
bodies in

every place; they shall cast [them] forth with silence.

saith And it shall come to pass in that day, {saith}
the

Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I
will

darken the earth in the clear day:

saith Behold, the days come, {saith} the Lord GOD,
that I

will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a
thirst

for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

saith Are] ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto
me, O

children of Israel? {saith} the LORD. Have not I brought up
Israel

out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and
the

Syrians from Kir?

saith Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD [are] upon the

sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the

earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob,

{saith} the LORD.

saith That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and
of

all the heathen, which are called by my name, {saith} the LORD
that

doeth this.

saith Behold, the days come, {saith} the LORD, that
the

plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him

that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and
all

the hills shall melt.

saith And I will plant them upon their land, and they

shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given

them, {saith} the LORD thy God.

saith The vision of Obadiah. Thus {saith} the Lord GOD

concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an

ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise
up

against her in battle.

saith The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou

that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation [is]
high;

that {saith} in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?

saith Though thou exalt [thyself] as the eagle, and
though

thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down,

{saith} the LORD.

saith Shall I not in that day, {saith} the LORD, even

destroy the wise [men] out of Edom, and understanding out of the

mount of Esau?

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD; Behold, against

this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove
your

necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time [is] evil.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD concerning the prophets
that

make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace;
and

he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war
against

him.

saith In that day, {saith} the LORD, will I assemble
her

that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her
that

I have afflicted;

saith And it shall come to pass in that day, {saith}
the

LORD, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee,
and I

will destroy thy chariots:

saith Hear ye now what the LORD {saith}; Arise, contend

thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; Though [they be] quiet,
and

likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall
pass

through. Though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no
more.

saith Behold, I [am] against thee, {saith} the LORD of

hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword

shall devour thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey from
the

earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be he

ard.

saith Behold, I [am] against thee, {saith} the LORD of

hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will
show

the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame.

saith Woe unto him that {saith} to the wood, Awake; to

the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it [is] laid over

with gold and silver, and [there is] no breath at all in the
midst

of it.

saith I will utterly consume all [things] from off the

land, {saith} the LORD.

saith I will consume man and beast; I will consume the

fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the

stumblingblocks with the wicked; and I will cut off man from off
the

land, {saith} the LORD.

saith And it shall come to pass in that day, {saith}
the

LORD, [that there shall be] the noise of a cry from the fish
gate,

and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the
hills.

saith Therefore [as] I live, {saith} the LORD of hosts,

the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the
children

of Ammon as Gomorrah, [even] the breeding of nettles, and
saltpits,

and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people s

hall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.

saith Therefore wait ye upon me, {saith} the LORD,
until

the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination [is] to

gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour
upon

them mine indignation, [even] all my fierce anger: for a

ll the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

saith At that time will I bring you [again], even in
the

time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise

among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity

before your eyes, {saith} the LORD.

saith Now therefore thus {saith} the LORD of hosts;

Consider your ways.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; Consider your
ways.

saith Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build
the

house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified,

{saith} the LORD.

saith Ye looked for much, and, lo, [it came] to little;

and when ye brought [it] home, I did blow upon it. Why? {saith}
the

LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that [is] waste, and ye run

every man unto his own house.

saith Then spake Haggai the LORD'S messenger in the

LORD'S message unto the people, saying, I [am] with you, {saith}
the

LORD.

saith Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, {saith} the
LORD;

and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be

strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for
I

[am] with you, saith the LORD of hosts:

saith Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD;
and

be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be

strong, all ye people of the land, {saith} the LORD, and work:
for I

[am] with you, saith the LORD of hosts:

saith Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD;
and

be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be

strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for
I

[am] with you, {saith} the LORD of hosts:

saith For thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it

[is] a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth,

and the sea, and the dry [land];

saith And I will shake all nations, and the desire of
all

nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory,
{saith}

the LORD of hosts.

saith The silver [is] mine, and the gold [is] mine,

{saith} the LORD of hosts.

saith The glory of this latter house shall be greater
than

of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I

give peace, {saith} the LORD of hosts.

saith The glory of this latter house shall be greater
than

of the former, {saith} the LORD of hosts: and in this place will
I

give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; Ask now the
priests

[concerning] the law, saying,

saith Then answered Haggai, and said, So [is] this

people, and so [is] this nation before me, {saith} the LORD; and
so

[is] every work of their hands; and that which they offer there
[is]

unclean.

saith I smote you with blasting and with mildew and
with

hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye [turned] not to me,

{saith} the LORD.

saith In that day, {saith} the LORD of hosts, will I
take

thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the

LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee,
saith

the LORD of hosts.

saith In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I
take

thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the

LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee,

{saith} the LORD of hosts.

saith In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I
take

thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, {saith} the

LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee,
saith

the LORD of hosts.

saith Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the
LORD of

hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn

unto you, {saith} the LORD of hosts.

saith Therefore say thou unto them, Thus {saith} the
LORD

of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will
turn

unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.

saith Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the
LORD of

hosts; Turn ye unto me, {saith} the LORD of hosts, and I will
turn

unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.

saith Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former

prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn
ye

now from your evil ways, and [from] your evil doings: but they
did

not hear, nor hearken unto me, {saith} the LORD.

saith Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former

prophets have cried, saying, Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts;
Turn ye

now from your evil ways, and [from] your evil doings: but they
did

not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD.

saith So the angel that communed with me said unto me,

Cry thou, saying, Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; I am jealous
for

Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.

saith Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to

Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, {saith}
the

LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon
Jerusalem.

saith Therefore thus {saith} the LORD; I am returned
to

Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the

LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon
Jerusalem.

saith Cry yet, saying, Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts;
My

cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the
LORD

shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.

saith For I, {saith} the LORD, will be unto her a wall
of

fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

saith Ho, ho, [come forth], and flee from the land of
the

north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four

winds of the heaven, {saith} the LORD.

saith Ho, ho, [come forth], and flee from the land of
the

north, {saith} the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four

winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.

saith For thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; After the
glory

hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that

toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

saith Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I

come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, {saith} the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt
walk in

my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also
judge

my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee
places

to walk among these that stand by.

saith For behold the stone that I have laid before
Joshua;

upon one stone [shall be] seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the

graving thereof, {saith} the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the

iniquity of that land in one day.

saith In that day, {saith} the LORD of hosts, shall ye

call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig
tree.

saith Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This

[is] the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might,
nor

by power, but by my spirit, {saith} the LORD of hosts.

saith I will bring it forth, {saith} the LORD of hosts,

and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the
house

of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in
the

midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timb

er thereof and the stones thereof.

saith Therefore it is come to pass, [that] as he
cried,

and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear,

{saith} the LORD of hosts:

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for

Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great
fury.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD; I am returned unto Zion,
and

will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be
called

a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy

mountain.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; There shall yet
old

men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every
man

with his staff in his hand for very age.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; If it be
marvellous

in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should
it

also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the LORD of hosts.

saith Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If it be
marvellous in

the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it
also

be marvellous in mine eyes? {saith} the LORD of hosts.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will
save

my people from the east country, and from the west country;

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be

strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of
the

prophets, which [were] in the day [that] the foundation of the
house

of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might

be built.

saith But now I [will] not [be] unto the residue of
this

people as in the former days, {saith} the LORD of hosts.

saith For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought
to

punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, {saith} the
LORD

of hosts, and I repented not:

saith For thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; As I
thought to

punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the
LORD

of hosts, and I repented not:

saith And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts

against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these [are

things] that I hate, {saith} the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; The fast of the

fourth [month], and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the

seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of
Judah

joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the tr

uth and peace.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; [It shall] yet

[come to pass], that there shall come people, and the
inhabitants of

many cities:

saith Thus {saith} the LORD of hosts; In those days
[it

shall come to pass], that ten men shall take hold out of all

languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of
him

that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have hear

d [that] God [is] with you.

saith And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and
they

shall walk up and down in his name, {saith} the LORD.

saith Thus {saith} the LORD my God; Feed the flock of
the

slaughter;

saith For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the

land, {saith} the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one

into his neighbour's hand, and into the hand of his king: and
they

shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not del

iver [them].

saith The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel,

{saith} the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth
the

foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within
him.

saith In that day, {saith} the LORD, I will smite
every

horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will
open

mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of
the

people with blindness.

saith And it shall come to pass in that day, {saith}
the

LORD of hosts, [that] I will cut off the names of the idols out
of

the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will

cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of

the land.

saith Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against

the man [that is] my fellow, {saith} the LORD of hosts: smite the

shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine

hand upon the little ones.

saith And it shall come to pass, [that] in all the
land,

{saith} the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off [and] die;
but

the third shall be left therein.

saith I have loved you, {saith} the LORD. Yet ye say,

Wherein hast thou loved us? [Was] not Esau Jacob's brother? saith

the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,

saith I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say,

Wherein hast thou loved us? [Was] not Esau Jacob's brother?
{saith}

the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,

saith Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we
will

return and build the desolate places; thus {saith} the LORD of

hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall
call

them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against

whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.

saith Whereas Edom {saith}, We are impoverished, but we

will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of

hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall
call

them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against

whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.

saith A son honoureth [his] father, and a servant his

master: if then I [be] a father, where [is] mine honour? and if I

[be] a master, where [is] my fear? {saith} the LORD of hosts unto

you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein h

ave we despised thy name?

saith And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, [is it]
not

evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, [is it] not evil? offer
it

now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept
thy

person? {saith} the LORD of hosts.

saith And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be

gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard
your

persons? {saith} the LORD of hosts.

saith Who [is there] even among you that would shut
the

doors [for nought]? neither do ye kindle [fire] on mine altar for

nought. I have no pleasure in you, {saith} the LORD of hosts,

neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

saith For from the rising of the sun even unto the
going

down of the same my name [shall be] great among the Gentiles;
and in

every place incense [shall be] offered unto my name, and a pure

offering: for my name [shall be] great among the heath

en, {saith} the LORD of hosts.

saith Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness [is it]!
and

ye have snuffed at it, {saith} the LORD of hosts; and ye brought

[that which was] torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye
brought

an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith

the LORD.

saith Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness [is it]!
and

ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought
[that

which was] torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an

offering: should I accept this of your hand? {saith}

the LORD.

saith But cursed [be] the deceiver, which hath in his

flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt

thing: for I [am] a great King, {saith} the LORD of hosts, and my

name [is] dreadful among the heathen.

saith If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay [it]
to

heart, to give glory unto my name, {saith} the LORD of hosts, I
will

even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea,
I

have cursed them already, because ye do not lay [i

t] to heart.

saith And ye shall know that I have sent this
commandment

unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, {saith} the LORD
of

hosts.

saith But ye are departed out of the way; ye have
caused

many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of
Levi,

{saith} the LORD of hosts.

saith For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he

hateth putting away: for [one] covereth violence with his
garment,

{saith} the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit,
that

ye deal not treacherously.

saith For the LORD, the God of Israel, {saith} that he

hateth putting away: for [one] covereth violence with his
garment,

saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit,
that ye

deal not treacherously.

saith Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall

prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall

suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant,

whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, {saith} the LORD of
hos

ts.

saith And I will come near to you to judgment; and I
will

be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the

adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that

fatherless

, and that turn aside the stranger [from his right], and fear not

me, {saith} the LORD of hosts.

saith Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone
away

from mine ordinances, and have not kept [them]. Return unto me,
and

I will return unto you, {saith} the LORD of hosts. But ye said,

Wherein shall we return?

saith Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse,
that

there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith,
{saith}

the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven,
and

pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be

room] enough [to receive it].

saith And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,
and

he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall
your

LORD

of hosts.

saith And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye

shall be a delightsome land, {saith} the LORD of hosts.

saith Your words have been stout against me, {saith}
the

hosts,

in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a

saith For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as
an
