quietness Thus was Midian subdued before the children
of

Israel, so that they lifted up their heads no more. And the
country

was in {quietness} forty years in the days of Gideon.

quietness <1CH22 -9> Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who
shall

be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies

round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace

and {quietness} unto Israel in his days.

quietness Surely he shall not feel {quietness} in his

belly, he shall not save of that which he desired.

quietness When he giveth {quietness}, who then can

trouble? and when he hideth [his] face, who then can behold him?

whether [it be done] against a nation, or against a man only:

in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.

quietness And the work of righteousness shall be
peace;

and the effect of righteousness {quietness} and assurance for
ever.

quietness And when he was called forth, Tertullus
began

to accuse him], saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great

{quietness}, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this
nation by

thy providence,

quietness <2TH3 -12> Now them that are such we command and
exhort by

our Lord Jesus Christ, that with {quietness} they work, and eat

their own bread.
