queen <1KI10 -1> And when the {queen} of Sheba heard of the fame
of

Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him
with

hard questions.

queen <1KI10 -4> And when the {queen} of Sheba had seen all

Solomon's wisdom, and the house that he had built,

queen <1KI10 -10> And she gave the king an hundred and twenty

talents of gold, and of spices very great store, and precious

stones: there came no more such abundance of spices as these
which

the {queen} of Sheba gave to king Solomon.

queen <1KI10 -13> And king Solomon gave unto the {queen} of Sheba

all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside [that] which Solomon

gave her of his royal bounty. So she turned and went to her own

country, she and her servants.

queen <1KI11 -19> And Hadad found great favour in the sight of

Pharaoh, so that he gave him to wife the sister of his own wife,
the

sister of Tahpenes the {queen}.

queen <1KI15 -13> And also Maachah his mother, even her he
removed

from [being] {queen}, because she had made an idol in a grove;
and

Asa destroyed her idol, and burnt [it] by the brook Kidron.

queen <2KI10 -13> Jehu met with the brethren of Ahaziah king of

Judah, and said, Who [are] ye? And they answered, We [are] the

brethren of Ahaziah; and we go down to salute the children of the

king and the children of the {queen}.

queen <2CH9 -1> And when the {queen} of Sheba heard of the fame
of

Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at
Jerusalem,

with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold
in

abundance, and precious stones: and when she was co

me to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her
heart.

queen <2CH9 -3> And when the {queen} of Sheba had seen the
wisdom of

Solomon, and the house that he had built,

queen <2CH9 -9> And she gave the king an hundred and twenty
talents

of gold, and of spices great abundance, and precious stones:
neither

was there any such spice as the {queen} of Sheba gave king
Solomon.

queen <2CH9 -12> And king Solomon gave to the {queen} of Sheba
all

her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside [that] which she had

brought unto the king. So she turned, and went away to her own
land,

she and her servants.

queen <2CH15 -16> And also [concerning] Maachah the mother of Asa

the king, he removed her from [being] {queen}, because she had
made

an idol in a grove: and Asa cut down her idol, and stamped [it],
and

burnt [it] at the brook Kidron.

queen And the king said unto me, (the {queen} also
sitting

by him,) For how long shall thy journey be? and when wilt thou

return? So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time.

queen Also Vashti the {queen} made a feast for the
women

[in] the royal house which [belonged] to king Ahasuerus.

queen To bring Vashti the {queen} before the king with

the crown royal, to show the people and the princes her beauty:
for

she [was] fair to look on.

queen But the {queen} Vashti refused to come at the

king's commandment by [his] chamberlains: therefore was the king

very wroth, and his anger burned in him.

queen What shall we do unto the {queen} Vashti
according

to law, because she hath not performed the commandment of the
king

Ahasuerus by the chamberlains?

queen And Memucan answered before the king and the

princes, Vashti the {queen} hath not done wrong to the king only,

but also to all the princes, and to all the people that [are] in
all

the provinces of the king Ahasuerus.

queen For [this] deed of the {queen} shall come abroad

unto all women, so that they shall despise their husbands in
their

eyes, when it shall be reported, The king Ahasuerus commanded
Vashti

the queen to be brought in before him, but she came n

ot.

queen For [this] deed of the queen shall come abroad
unto

all women, so that they shall despise their husbands in their
eyes,

when it shall be reported, The king Ahasuerus commanded Vashti
the

{queen} to be brought in before him, but she came n

ot.

queen Likewise] shall the ladies of Persia and Media
say

this day unto all the king's princes, which have heard of the
deed

of the {queen}. Thus [shall there arise] too much contempt and

wrath.

queen And let the maiden which pleaseth the king be

{queen} instead of Vashti. And the thing pleased the king; and he

did so.

queen And the king loved Esther above all the women,
and

she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the

virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made
her

{queen} instead of Vashti.

queen And the thing was known to Mordecai, who told
[it]

unto Esther the {queen}; and Esther certified the king [thereof]
in

Mordecai's name.

queen So Esther's maids and her chamberlains came and
told

[it] her. Then was the {queen} exceedingly grieved; and she sent

raiment to clothe Mordecai, and to take away his sackcloth from
him:

but he received [it] not.

queen And it was so, when the king saw Esther the
{queen}

standing in the court, [that] she obtained favour in his sight:
and

the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that [was] in his

hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the

sceptre.

queen Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou,
{queen}

Esther? and what [is] thy request? it shall be even given thee to

the half of the kingdom.

queen Haman said moreover, Yea, Esther the {queen} did

let no man come in with the king unto the banquet that she had

prepared but myself; and to morrow am I invited unto her also
with

the king.

queen So the king and Haman came to banquet with Esther

the {queen}.

queen And the king said again unto Esther on the second

day at the banquet of wine, What [is] thy petition, {queen}
Esther?

and it shall be granted thee: and what [is] thy request? and it

shall be performed, [even] to the half of the kingdom.

queen Then Esther the {queen} answered and said, If I
have

found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king,
let my

life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request:

queen Then the king Ahasuerus answered and said unto

Esther the {queen}, Who is he, and where is he, that durst
presume

in his heart to do so?

queen And Esther said, The adversary and enemy [is]
this

wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the
{queen}.

queen And the king arising from the banquet of wine in
his

wrath [went] into the palace garden: and Haman stood up to make

request for his life to Esther the {queen}; for he saw that there

was evil determined against him by the king.

queen Then the king returned out of the palace garden
into

the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the
bed

whereon Esther [was]. Then said the king, Will he force the
{queen}

also before me in the house? As the word went out

of the king's mouth, they covered Haman's face.

queen On that day did the king Ahasuerus give the
house of

Haman the Jews' enemy unto Esther the {queen}. And Mordecai came

before the king; for Esther had told what he [was] unto her.

queen Then the king Ahasuerus said unto Esther the
{queen}

and to Mordecai the Jew, Behold, I have given Esther the house of

Haman, and him they have hanged upon the gallows, because he laid

his hand upon the Jews.

queen And the king said unto Esther the {queen}, The
Jews

have slain and destroyed five hundred men in Shushan the palace,
and

the ten sons of Haman; what have they done in the rest of the
king's

provinces? now what [is] thy petition? and it sh

all be granted thee: or what [is] thy request further? and it
shall

be done.

queen Then Esther the {queen}, the daughter of
Abihail,

and Mordecai the Jew, wrote with all authority, to confirm this

second letter of Purim.

queen To confirm these days of Purim in their times

[appointed], according as Mordecai the Jew and Esther the {queen}

had enjoined them, and as they had decreed for themselves and for

their seed, the matters of the fastings and their cry.

queen Kings' daughters [were] among thy honourable
women:

upon thy right hand did stand the {queen} in gold of Ophir.

queen The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle

the fire, and the women knead [their] dough, to make cakes to the

{queen} of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other
gods,

that they may provoke me to anger.

queen Say unto the king and to the {queen}, Humble

yourselves, sit down: for your principalities shall come down,

[even] the crown of your glory.

queen After that Jeconiah the king, and the {queen},
and

the eunuchs, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, and the
carpenters,

and the smiths, were departed from Jerusalem;)

queen But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth

forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the {queen} of

heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have
done,

we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the ci

ties of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for [then] had we

plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

queen But since we left off to burn incense to the

{queen} of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we
have

wanted all [things], and have been consumed by the sword and by
the

famine.

queen And when we burned incense to the {queen} of

heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her

cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her,
without

our men?

queen Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel,

saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and

fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows

that we have vowed, to burn incense to the {queen} of hea

ven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely

accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.

queen Now] the {queen} by reason of the words of the
king

and his lords came into the banquet house: [and] the queen spake
and

said, O king, live for ever: let not thy thoughts trouble thee,
nor

let thy countenance be changed:

queen Now] the queen by reason of the words of the
king

and his lords came into the banquet house: [and] the {queen}
spake

and said, O king, live for ever: let not thy thoughts trouble
thee,

nor let thy countenance be changed:

queen The {queen} of the south shall rise up in the

judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came

from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of
Solomon;

and, behold, a greater than Solomon [is] here.

queen The {queen} of the south shall rise up in the

judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for
she

came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of

Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is] here.

queen And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of

Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace {queen} of
the

Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come
to

Jerusalem for to worship,

queen How much she hath glorified herself, and lived

deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith
in

her heart, I sit a {queen}, and am no widow, and shall see no

sorrow.
