and burn [it] on the altar, according to the offerings made by
fire

unto the LORD: it [is] a sin offering.

priest Then shall he bring it to the {priest}, and the

priest shall take his handful of it, [even] a memorial thereof,
and

burn [it] on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire
unto

the LORD: it [is] a sin offering.

all

that he hath done in trespassing therein.

priest And the {priest} shall put on his linen
garment,

and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up
the

ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the

altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.

priest And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in

it; it shall not be put out: and the {priest} shall burn wood on

she

burnt

offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the {priest}
shall

make an atonement for her, and she shall be clean.

priest When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh
a

rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his
flesh

[like] the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron

the {priest}, or unto one of his sons the priests:

priest And the {priest} shall look on the plague in
the

skin of the flesh: and [when] the hair in the plague is turned

white, and the plague in sight [be] deeper than the skin of his

flesh, it [is] a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look

on him, and pronounce him unclean.

priest And the priest shall look on the plague in the

skin of the flesh: and [when] the hair in the plague is turned

white, and the plague in sight [be] deeper than the skin of his

flesh, it [is] a plague of leprosy: and the {priest} shall look

on him, and pronounce him unclean.

priest If the bright spot [be] white in the skin of
his

flesh, and in sight [be] not deeper than the skin, and the hair

thereof be not turned white; then the {priest} shall shut up [him

that hath] the plague seven days:

priest And the {priest} shall look on him the seventh

day: and, behold, [if] the plague in his sight be at a stay,
[and]

the plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut
him up

seven days more:

priest And the priest shall look on him the seventh
day:

and, behold, [if] the plague in his sight be at a stay, [and] the

plague spread not in the skin; then the {priest} shall shut him
up

seven days more:

priest And the {priest} shall look on him again the

seventh day: and, behold, [if] the plague [be] somewhat dark,
[and]

the plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him

clean: it [is but] a scab: and he shall wash his clothes,

and be clean.

priest And the priest shall look on him again the
seventh

day: and, behold, [if] the plague [be] somewhat dark, [and] the

plague spread not in the skin, the {priest} shall pronounce him

clean: it [is but] a scab: and he shall wash his clothes,

and be clean.

priest But if the scab spread much abroad in the skin,

after that he hath been seen of the {priest} for his cleansing,
he

shall be seen of the priest again:

priest But if the scab spread much abroad in the skin,

after that he hath been seen of the priest for his cleansing, he

shall be seen of the {priest} again:

priest And [if] the {priest} see that, behold, the
scab

spreadeth in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him
unclean:

it [is] a leprosy.

priest And [if] the priest see that, behold, the scab

spreadeth in the skin, then the {priest} shall pronounce him

unclean: it [is] a leprosy.

priest When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he

shall be brought unto the {priest};

priest And the {priest} shall see [him]: and, behold,

[if] the rising [be] white in the skin, and it have turned the
hair

white, and [there be] quick raw flesh in the rising;

priest It [is] an old leprosy in the skin of his
flesh,

and the {priest} shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not shut
him

up: for he [is] unclean.

priest And if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin,

and the leprosy cover all the skin of [him that hath] the plague

from his head even to his foot, wheresoever the {priest} looketh;

priest Then the {priest} shall consider: and, behold,

[if] the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce

[him] clean [that hath] the plague: it is all turned white: he
[is]

clean.

priest And the {priest} shall see the raw flesh, and

pronounce him to be unclean: [for] the raw flesh [is] unclean: it

[is] a leprosy.

priest Or if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed

unto white, he shall come unto the {priest};

priest And the {priest} shall see him: and, behold,
[if]

the plague be turned into white; then the priest shall pronounce

[him] clean [that hath] the plague: he [is] clean.

priest And the priest shall see him: and, behold,
[if]

the plague be turned into white; then the {priest} shall
pronounce

[him] clean [that hath] the plague: he [is] clean.

priest And in the place of the boil there be a white

rising, or a bright spot, white, and somewhat reddish, and it be

showed to the {priest};

priest And if, when the priest seeth it, behold, it
[be]

in sight lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned
white;

the {priest} shall pronounce him unclean: it [is] a plague of

leprosy broken out of the boil.

priest And if, when the {priest} seeth it, behold, it

[be] in sight lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned

white; the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it [is] a plague
of

leprosy broken out of the boil.

priest But if the {priest} look on it, and, behold,

[there be] no white hairs therein, and [if] it [be] not lower
than

the skin, but [be] somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him
up

seven days:

priest But if the priest look on it, and, behold,
[there

be] no white hairs therein, and [if] it [be] not lower than the

skin, but [be] somewhat dark; then the {priest} shall shut him up

seven days:

priest And if it spread much abroad in the skin, then

the {priest} shall pronounce him unclean: it [is] a plague.

priest But if the bright spot stay in his place,
[and]

spread not, it [is] a burning boil; and the {priest} shall
pronounce

him clean.

priest Then the priest shall look upon it: and,
behold,

[if] the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and it [be in]

sight deeper than the skin; it [is] a leprosy broken out of the

burning: wherefore the {priest} shall pronounce him unclea

n: it [is] the plague of leprosy.

priest Then the {priest} shall look upon it: and,

behold, [if] the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and it
[be

in] sight deeper than the skin; it [is] a leprosy broken out of
the

burning: wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclea

n: it [is] the plague of leprosy.

priest But if the priest look on it, and, behold,
[there

be] no white hair in the bright spot, and it [be] no lower than
the

[other] skin, but [be] somewhat dark; then the {priest} shall
shut

him up seven days:

priest But if the {priest} look on it, and, behold,

[there be] no white hair in the bright spot, and it [be] no lower

than the [other] skin, but [be] somewhat dark; then the priest
shall

shut him up seven days:

priest And the priest shall look upon him the seventh

day: [and] if it be spread much abroad in the skin, then the

{priest} shall pronounce him unclean: it [is] the plague of
leprosy.

priest And the {priest} shall look upon him the
seventh

day: [and] if it be spread much abroad in the skin, then the
priest

shall pronounce him unclean: it [is] the plague of leprosy.

priest And if the bright spot stay in his place,
[and]

spread not in the skin, but it [be] somewhat dark; it [is] a
rising

of the burning, and the {priest} shall pronounce him clean: for
it

[is] an inflammation of the burning.

priest Then the priest shall see the plague: and,

behold, if it [be] in sight deeper than the skin; [and there be]
in

it a yellow thin hair; then the {priest} shall pronounce him

unclean: it [is] a dry scall, [even] a leprosy upon the head or

beard.

priest Then the {priest} shall see the plague: and,

behold, if it [be] in sight deeper than the skin; [and there be]
in

it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall pronounce him
unclean:

it [is] a dry scall, [even] a leprosy upon the head or

beard.

priest And if the priest look on the plague of the

scall, and, behold, it [be] not in sight deeper than the skin,
and

[that there is] no black hair in it; then the {priest} shall
shut up

[him that hath] the plague of the scall seven days:

priest And if the {priest} look on the plague of the

scall, and, behold, it [be] not in sight deeper than the skin,
and

[that there is] no black hair in it; then the priest shall shut
up

[him that hath] the plague of the scall seven days:

priest And in the seventh day the {priest} shall
look on

the plague: and, behold, [if] the scall spread not, and there be
in

it no yellow hair, and the scall [be] not in sight deeper than
the

skin;

priest He shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not

shave; and the {priest} shall shut up [him that hath] the scall

seven days more:

priest And in the seventh day the {priest} shall
look on

the scall: and, behold, [if] the scall be not spread in the skin,

nor [be] in sight deeper than the skin; then the priest shall

pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be

clean.

priest And in the seventh day the priest shall look
on

the scall: and, behold, [if] the scall be not spread in the skin,

nor [be] in sight deeper than the skin; then the {priest} shall

pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be

clean.

priest Then the priest shall look on him: and,
behold,

if the scall be spread in the skin, the {priest} shall not seek
for

yellow hair; he [is] unclean.

priest Then the {priest} shall look on him: and,
behold,

if the scall be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for

yellow hair; he [is] unclean.

priest But if the scall be in his sight at a stay,
and

[that] there is black hair grown up therein; the scall is healed,
he

[is] clean: and the {priest} shall pronounce him clean.

priest Then the {priest} shall look: and, behold,
[if]

the bright spots in the skin of their flesh [be] darkish white;
it

[is] a freckled spot [that] groweth in the skin; he [is] clean.

priest Then the {priest} shall look upon it: and,

behold, [if] the rising of the sore [be] white reddish in his
bald

head, or in his bald forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the
skin

of the flesh;

priest He is a leprous man, he [is] unclean: the

{priest} shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague [is] in
his

head.

priest And if the plague be greenish or reddish in
the

garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or
in

any thing of skin; it [is] a plague of leprosy, and shall be
showed

unto the {priest}:

priest And the {priest} shall look upon the plague,
and

shut up [it that hath] the plague seven days:

priest And if the {priest} shall look, and, behold,
the

plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in
the

woof, or in any thing of skin;

priest Then the {priest} shall command that they wash

[the thing] wherein the plague [is], and he shall shut it up
seven

days more:

priest And the {priest} shall look on the plague,
after

that it is washed: and, behold, [if] the plague have not changed
his

colour, and the plague be not spread; it [is] unclean; thou shalt

burn it in the fire; it [is] fret inward, [whether]

it [be] bare within or without.

priest And if the {priest} look, and, behold, the
plague

[be] somewhat dark after the washing of it; then he shall rend it

out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or
out

of the woof:

priest This shall be the law of the leper in the day
of

his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the {priest}:

priest And the priest shall go forth out of the camp;
and

the {priest} shall look, and, behold, [if] the plague of leprosy
be

healed in the leper;

priest And the {priest} shall go forth out of the
camp;

and the priest shall look, and, behold, [if] the plague of
leprosy

be healed in the leper;

priest Then shall the {priest} command to take for him

that is to be cleansed two birds alive [and] clean, and cedar
wood,

and scarlet, and hyssop:

priest And the {priest} shall command that one of the

birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water:

priest And the {priest} that maketh [him] clean shall

present the man that is to be made clean, and those things,
before

the LORD, [at] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

priest And the {priest} shall take one he lamb, and

offer him for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave
them

[for] a wave offering before the LORD:

priest And the {priest} shall take [some] of the
blood

of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put [it] upon the
tip

of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the
thumb

of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his rig

priest And the priest shall take [some] of the blood
of

the trespass offering, and the {priest} shall put [it] upon the
tip

of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the
thumb

of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his rig

ht foot:

priest And the {priest} shall take [some] of the log
of

oil, and pour [it] into the palm of his own left hand:

priest And the {priest} shall dip his right finger in

the oil that [is] in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil

with his finger seven times before the LORD:

priest And of the rest of the oil that [is] in his
hand

shall the {priest} put upon the tip of the right ear of him that
is

to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon
the

great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the t

respass offering:

priest And the remnant of the oil that [is] in the

priest's hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be

cleansed: and the {priest} shall make an atonement for him before

the LORD.

and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his

uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering:

priest And the {priest} shall offer the burnt
offering

and the meat offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make
an

atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

priest And the priest shall offer the burnt offering
and

the meat offering upon the altar: and the {priest} shall make an

atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

priest And he shall bring them on the eighth day for
his

cleansing unto the {priest}, unto the door of the tabernacle of
the

congregation, before the LORD.

priest And the priest shall take the lamb of the

trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the {priest} shall
wave

them [for] a wave offering before the LORD:

priest And the {priest} shall take the lamb of the

trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave

them [for] a wave offering before the LORD:

priest And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass

offering, and the {priest} shall take [some] of the blood of the

trespass offering, and put [it] upon the tip of the right ear of
him

that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right han

priest And the {priest} shall pour of the oil into
the

palm of his own left hand:

finger [some] of the oil that [is] in his left hand seven times

before the LORD:

priest And the {priest} shall put of the oil that
[is]

in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be

cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the
great

toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the

trespass offering:

priest Even] such as he is able to get, the one
[for] a

sin offering, and the other [for] a burnt offering, with the meat

offering: and the {priest} shall make an atonement for him that
is

priest Then the {priest} shall command that they take

away the stones in which the plague [is], and they shall cast
them

into an unclean place without the city:

priest Then the {priest} shall come and look, and,

behold, [if] the plague be spread in the house, it [is] a
fretting

leprosy in the house: it [is] unclean.

priest And if the priest shall come in, and look
[upon

it], and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after
the

house was plastered: then the {priest} shall pronounce the house

clean, because the plague is healed.

[upon

it], and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after
the

house was plastered: then the priest shall pronounce the house

turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the LORD unto
the

[for]

a sin offering, and the other [for] a burnt offering; and the
priest

shall make an atonement for him before the LORD for his issue.

with the ram of the trespass offering before the LORD for his sin

which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be
forgiven

him.

profane

herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she
shall be

burnt with fire.

priest And [he that is] the high {priest} among his

brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that
is

consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head,
nor

rend his clothes;

priest No man that hath a blemish of the seed of
Aaron

the {priest} shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD
made

by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the

bread of his God.

priest There shall no stranger eat [of] the holy
thing:

a sojourner of the {priest}, or an hired servant, shall not eat
[of]

the holy thing.

priest But if the {priest} buy [any] soul with his

to

be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the {priest}

priest And if [it be] any unclean beast, of which
they

do not offer a sacrifice unto the LORD, then he shall present the

priest And the {priest} shall value it, whether it be

good or bad: as thou valuest it, [who art] the priest, so shall
it

be.

priest And the priest shall value it, whether it be
good

or bad: as thou valuest it, [who art] the {priest}, so shall it
be.

priest And when a man shall sanctify his house [to
be]

holy unto the LORD, then the {priest} shall estimate it, whether
it

be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it
stand.

[even]

to the {priest}; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an

priest And every offering of all the holy things of the

children of Israel, which they bring unto the {priest}, shall be

priest Then shall the man bring his wife unto the

{priest}, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth

and

say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou

priest Then the {priest} shall charge the woman with

altar,

and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.

the

LORD, and the {priest} shall execute upon her all this law.

offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and make an
atonement

for him, for that he sinned by the dead, and shall hallow his
head

that same day.

priest And the {priest} shall bring [them] before the

LORD, and shall offer his sin offering, and his burnt offering:

bread:

the {priest} shall offer also his meat offering, and his drink

offering.

priest And the {priest} shall take the sodden
shoulder of

the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one

unleavened wafer, and shall put [them] upon the hands of the

Nazarite, after [the hair of] his separation is shaven:

priest And the {priest} shall wave them [for] a wave

offering before the LORD: this [is] holy for the priest, with the

wave breast and heave shoulder: and after that the Nazarite may

drink wine.

him.

priest Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the
{priest},

that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter thou
the

fire yonder; for they are hallowed.

priest And Eleazar the {priest} took the brazen
censers,

wherewith they that were burnt had offered; and they were made
broad

[plates for] a covering of the altar:

priest Thus ye also shall offer an heave offering
unto

the LORD of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of

Israel; and ye shall give thereof the LORD'S heave offering to
Aaron

the {priest}.

priest And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the
{priest},

that he may bring her forth without the camp, and [one] shall
slay

her before his face:

priest And Eleazar the {priest} shall take of her
blood

with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the

tabernacle of the congregation seven times:

priest And the {priest} shall take cedar wood, and

hyssop, and scarlet, and cast [it] into the midst of the burning
of

the heifer.

priest Then the {priest} shall wash his clothes, and
he

shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into

priest And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son
of

Aaron the {priest}, saw [it], he rose up from among the

congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;

priest Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron

the {priest}, hath turned my wrath away from the children of
Israel,

while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not
the

children of Israel in my jealousy.

priest And it came to pass after the plague, that the

LORD spake unto Moses and unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the

{priest}, saying,

priest And Moses and Eleazar the {priest} spake with
them

in the plains of Moab by Jordan [near] Jericho, saying,

priest These [are] they that were numbered by Moses
and

Eleazar the {priest}, who numbered the children of Israel in the

plains of Moab by Jordan [near] Jericho.

priest But among these there was not a man of them
whom

Moses and Aaron the {priest} numbered, when they numbered the

children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.

priest And they stood before Moses, and before Eleazar

the {priest}, and before the princes and all the congregation,
[by]

the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

priest And set him before Eleazar the {priest}, and

before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their
sight.

priest And he shall stand before Eleazar the
{priest},

who shall ask [counsel] for him after the judgment of Urim before

the LORD: at his word shall they go out, and at his word they
shall

come in, [both] he, and all the children of Israel wit

h him, even all the congregation.

priest And Moses did as the LORD commanded him: and
he

took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the {priest}, and before
all

the congregation:

priest And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of

[every] tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the {priest},
to

the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in
his

hand.

priest And they brought the captives, and the prey,
and

the spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar the {priest}, and unto the

congregation of the children of Israel, unto the camp at the
plains

of Moab, which [are] by Jordan [near] Jericho.

priest And Moses, and Eleazar the {priest}, and all
the

princes of the congregation, went forth to meet them without the

camp.

priest And Eleazar the {priest} said unto the men of
war

which went to the battle, This [is] the ordinance of the law
which

the LORD commanded Moses;

priest Take the sum of the prey that was taken,
[both]

of man and of beast, thou, and Eleazar the {priest}, and the
chief

fathers of the congregation:

priest Take [it] of their half, and give [it] unto

Eleazar the {priest}, [for] an heave offering of the LORD.

priest And Moses and Eleazar the {priest} did as the

LORD commanded Moses.

priest And Moses gave the tribute, [which was] the

LORD'S heave offering, unto Eleazar the {priest}, as the LORD

commanded Moses.

priest And Moses and Eleazar the {priest} took the
gold

of them, [even] all wrought jewels.

priest And Moses and Eleazar the {priest} took the
gold

of the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and brought it into

the tabernacle of the congregation, [for] a memorial for the

children of Israel before the LORD.

priest The children of Gad and the children of Reuben

came and spake unto Moses, and to Eleazar the {priest}, and unto
the

princes of the congregation, saying,

priest So concerning them Moses commanded Eleazar the

{priest}, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the

tribes of the children of Israel:

priest And Aaron the {priest} went up into mount Hor
at

the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year

after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt,
in

the first [day] of the fifth month.

priest These [are] the names of the men which shall

divide the land unto you: Eleazar the {priest}, and Joshua the
son

of Nun.

priest And the congregation shall deliver the slayer
out

of the hand of the revenger of blood, and the congregation shall

restore him to the city of his refuge, whither he was fled: and
he

shall abide in it unto the death of the high {priest},

which was anointed with the holy oil.

priest Because he should have remained in the city of

his refuge until the death of the high {priest}: but after the
death

of the high priest the slayer shall return into the land of his

possession.

priest Because he should have remained in the city of

his refuge until the death of the high priest: but after the
death

of the high {priest} the slayer shall return into the land of his

possession.

priest And ye shall take no satisfaction for him
that is

fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to
dwell

in the land, until the death of the {priest}.

priest And the man that will do presumptuously, and
will

not hearken unto the {priest} that standeth to minister there
before

the LORD thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and

thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.

priest And this shall be the priest's due from the

people, from them that offer a sacrifice, whether [it be] ox or

sheep; and they shall give unto the {priest} the shoulder, and
the

two cheeks, and the maw.

priest And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the

battle, that the {priest} shall approach and speak unto the
people,

priest And thou shalt go unto the {priest} that shall
be

in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD

thy God, that I am come unto the country which the LORD sware
unto

our fathers for to give us.

priest And the {priest} shall take the basket out of

thine hand, and set it down before the altar of the LORD thy God.

priest And these [are the countries] which the
children

of Israel inherited in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the

{priest}, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the
fathers of

the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed for inhe

ritance to them.

priest And they came near before Eleazar the {priest},

and before Joshua the son of Nun, and before the princes, saying,

The LORD commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our

brethren. Therefore according to the commandment of the LORD h

e gave them an inheritance among the brethren of their father.

priest These [are] the inheritances, which Eleazar
the

{priest}, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the
fathers of

the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance
by

lot in Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the t

abernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing
the

country.

priest And he shall dwell in that city, until he stand

before the congregation for judgment, [and] until the death of
the

high {priest} that shall be in those days: then shall the slayer

return, and come unto his own city, and unto his own hous

e, unto the city from whence he fled.

priest Then came near the heads of the fathers of the

Levites unto Eleazar the {priest}, and unto Joshua the son of
Nun,

and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children
of

Israel;

priest And the lot came out for the families of the

Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the {priest}, [which were]
of

the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the

tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirtee

n cities.

priest Thus they gave to the children of Aaron the

{priest} Hebron with her suburbs, [to be] a city of refuge for
the

slayer; and Libnah with her suburbs,

priest And the children of Israel sent unto the
children

of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half tribe of

Manasseh, into the land of Gilead, Phinehas the son of Eleazar
the

{priest},

priest And when Phinehas the {priest}, and the
princes

of the congregation and heads of the thousands of Israel which

[were] with him, heard the words that the children of Reuben and
the

children of Gad and the children of Manasseh spake, it p

leased them.

priest And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the {priest}
said

unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to
the

children of Manasseh, This day we perceive that the LORD [is]
among

us, because ye have not committed this trespass ag

ainst the LORD: now ye have delivered the children of Israel out
of

the hand of the LORD.

priest And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the {priest},
and

the princes, returned from the children of Reuben, and from the

children of Gad, out of the land of Gilead, unto the land of
Canaan,

to the children of Israel, and brought them word agai

n.

priest And the man Micah had an house of gods, and
made

an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who
became

his {priest}.

priest And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be

unto me a father and a {priest}, and I will give thee ten
[shekels]

of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals.
So

the Levite went in.

priest And Micah consecrated the Levite; and the
young

man became his {priest}, and was in the house of Micah.

priest Then said Micah, Now know I that the LORD
will do

me good, seeing I have a Levite to [my] {priest}.

priest And he said unto them, Thus and thus dealeth
Micah

with me, and hath hired me, and I am his {priest}.

priest And the {priest} said unto them, Go in peace:

before the LORD [is] your way wherein ye go.

priest And the five men that went to spy out the land

went up, [and] came in thither, [and] took the graven image, and
the

ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image: and the {priest}

stood in the entering of the gate with the six hundred m

en [that were] appointed with weapons of war.

priest And these went into Micah's house, and fetched

the carved image, the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten
image.

Then said the {priest} unto them, What do ye?

priest And they said unto him, Hold thy peace, lay
thine

hand upon thy mouth, and go with us, and be to us a father and a

priest: [is it] better for thee to be a priest unto the house of
one

man, or that thou be a {priest} unto a tribe and a f

amily in Israel?

priest And they said unto him, Hold thy peace, lay
thine

hand upon thy mouth, and go with us, and be to us a father and a

priest: [is it] better for thee to be a {priest} unto the house
of

one man, or that thou be a priest unto a tribe and a f

amily in Israel?

priest And they said unto him, Hold thy peace, lay
thine

hand upon thy mouth, and go with us, and be to us a father and a

{priest}: [is it] better for thee to be a priest unto the house
of

one man, or that thou be a priest unto a tribe and a f

amily in Israel?

priest And he said, Ye have taken away my gods which
I

made, and the {priest}, and ye are gone away: and what have I
more?

and what [is] this [that] ye say unto me, What aileth thee?

priest And they took [the things] which Micah had
made,

and the {priest} which he had, and came unto Laish, unto a people

[that were] at quiet and secure: and they smote them with the
edge

of the sword, and burnt the city with fire.

priest <1SA1 -9> So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in
Shiloh,

and after they had drunk. Now Eli the {priest} sat upon a seat
by a

post of the temple of the LORD.

priest <1SA2 -11> And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. And the

child did minister unto the LORD before Eli the {priest}.

priest <1SA2 -14> And he struck [it] into the pan, or kettle, or

caldron, or pot; all that the fleshhook brought up the {priest}
took

for himself. So they did in Shiloh, unto all the Israelites that

came thither.

priest <1SA2 -15> Also before they burnt the fat, the priest's

servant came, and said to the man that sacrificed, Give flesh to

roast for the {priest}; for he will not have sodden flesh of
thee,

but raw.

priest <1SA2 -28> And did I choose him out of all the tribes of

Israel [to be] my {priest}, to offer upon mine altar, to burn

incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the
house

of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children o

f Israel?

priest <1SA2 -35> And I will raise me up a faithful {priest},
[that]

shall do according to [that] which [is] in mine heart and in my

mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before

mine anointed for ever.

priest <1SA14 -3> And Ahiah, the son of Ahitub, Ichabod's
brother,

the son of Phinehas, the son of Eli, the LORD'S {priest} in
Shiloh,

wearing an ephod. And the people knew not that Jonathan was gone.

the

priest, that the noise that [was] in the host of the Philistines

went on and increased: and Saul said unto the {priest}, Withdraw

thine hand.

priest <1SA14 -19> And it came to pass, while Saul talked unto
the

{priest}, that the noise that [was] in the host of the
Philistines

went on and increased: and Saul said unto the priest, Withdraw
thine

hand.

priest <1SA14 -36> And Saul said, Let us go down after the

Philistines by night, and spoil them until the morning light, and

let us not leave a man of them. And they said, Do whatsoever
seemeth

good unto thee. Then said the {priest}, Let us draw near hith

er unto God.

priest <1SA21 -1> Then came David to Nob to Ahimelech the
{priest}:

and Ahimelech was afraid at the meeting of David, and said unto
him,

Why [art] thou alone, and no man with thee?

priest <1SA21 -2> And David said unto Ahimelech the {priest}, The

king hath commanded me a business, and hath said unto me, Let no
man

know any thing of the business whereabout I send thee, and what I

have commanded thee: and I have appointed [my] servant

s to such and such a place.

priest <1SA21 -4> And the {priest} answered David, and said,
[There

is] no common bread under mine hand, but there is hallowed bread;
if

the young men have kept themselves at least from women.

priest <1SA21 -5> And David answered the {priest}, and said unto

him, Of a truth women [have been] kept from us about these three

days, since I came out, and the vessels of the young men are
holy,

and [the bread is] in a manner common, yea, though it were

sanctified this day in the vessel.

priest <1SA21 -6> So the {priest} gave him hallowed [bread]: for

there was no bread there but the showbread, that was taken from

before the LORD, to put hot bread in the day when it was taken
away.

priest <1SA21 -9> And the {priest} said, The sword of Goliath the

Philistine, whom thou slewest in the valley of Elah, behold, it
[is

here] wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod: if thou wilt take
that,

take [it]: for [there is] no other save that here. And

David said, [There is] none like that; give it me.

priest <1SA22 -11> Then the king sent to call Ahimelech the

{priest}, the son of Ahitub, and all his father's house, the
priests

that [were] in Nob: and they came all of them to the king.

priest <1SA23 -9> And David knew that Saul secretly practiced

mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the {priest}, Bring

hither the ephod.

priest <1SA30 -7> And David said to Abiathar the {priest},

Ahimelech's son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And

Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.

priest <2SA15 -27> The king said also unto Zadok the {priest},
[Art

not] thou a seer? return into the city in peace, and your two
sons

with you, Ahimaaz thy son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar.

priest <1KI1 -7> And he conferred with Joab the son of Zeruiah,
and

with Abiathar the {priest}: and they following Adonijah helped

[him].

priest <1KI1 -8> But Zadok the {priest}, and Benaiah the son of

Jehoiada, and Nathan the prophet, and Shimei, and Rei, and the

mighty men which [belonged] to David, were not with Adonijah.

priest <1KI1 -19> And he hath slain oxen and fat cattle and
sheep in

abundance, and hath called all the sons of the king, and Abiathar

the {priest}, and Joab the captain of the host: but Solomon thy

servant hath he not called.

priest <1KI1 -25> For he is gone down this day, and hath slain
oxen

and fat cattle and sheep in abundance, and hath called all the

king's sons, and the captains of the host, and Abiathar the

{priest}; and, behold, they eat and drink before him, and say, G

od save king Adonijah.

priest <1KI1 -26> But me, [even] me thy servant, and Zadok the

{priest}, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and thy servant
Solomon,

hath he not called.

priest <1KI1 -32> And king David said, Call me Zadok the
{priest},

and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada. And they

came before the king.

priest <1KI1 -34> And let Zadok the {priest} and Nathan the
prophet

anoint him there king over Israel: and blow ye with the trumpet,
and

say, God save king Solomon.

priest <1KI1 -38> So Zadok the {priest}, and Nathan the prophet,
and

Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites, and the

Pelethites, went down, and caused Solomon to ride upon king
David's

mule, and brought him to Gihon.

priest <1KI1 -39> And Zadok the {priest} took an horn of oil out
of

the tabernacle, and anointed Solomon. And they blew the trumpet;
and

all the people said, God save king Solomon.

priest <1KI1 -42> And while he yet spake, behold, Jonathan the
son

of Abiathar the {priest} came: and Adonijah said unto him, Come
in;

for thou [art] a valiant man, and bringest good tidings.

priest <1KI1 -44> And the king hath sent with him Zadok the

{priest}, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of
Jehoiada,

and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, and they have caused
him to

ride upon the king's mule:

priest <1KI1 -45> And Zadok the {priest} and Nathan the prophet
have

anointed him king in Gihon: and they are come up from thence

rejoicing, so that the city rang again. This [is] the noise that
ye

have heard.

priest <1KI2 -22> And king Solomon answered and said unto his

mother, And why dost thou ask Abishag the Shunammite for
Adonijah?

ask for him the kingdom also; for he [is] mine elder brother;
even

for him, and for Abiathar the {priest}, and for Joab the so

n of Zeruiah.

priest <1KI2 -26> And unto Abiathar the {priest} said the king,
Get

thee to Anathoth, unto thine own fields; for thou [art] worthy of

death: but I will not at this time put thee to death, because
thou

barest the ark of the Lord GOD before David my father,

and because thou hast been afflicted in all wherein my father
was

afflicted.

priest <1KI2 -27> So Solomon thrust out Abiathar from being
{priest}

unto the LORD; that he might fulfil the word of the LORD, which
he

spake concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh.

priest <1KI2 -35> And the king put Benaiah the son of Jehoiada in

his room over the host: and Zadok the {priest} did the king put
in

the room of Abiathar.

priest <1KI4 -2> And these [were] the princes which he had;
Azariah

the son of Zadok the {priest},

priest <2KI11 -9> And the captains over the hundreds did
according

to all [things] that Jehoiada the priest commanded: and they took

every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them

that should go out on the sabbath, and came to Jehoiada t

he {priest}.

priest <2KI11 -9> And the captains over the hundreds did
according

to all [things] that Jehoiada the {priest} commanded: and they
took

every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them

that should go out on the sabbath, and came to Jehoiada

the priest.

priest <2KI11 -10> And to the captains over hundreds did the

{priest} give king David's spears and shields, that [were] in the

temple of the LORD.

priest <2KI11 -15> But Jehoiada the priest commanded the
captains of

the hundreds, the officers of the host, and said unto them, Have
her

forth without the ranges: and him that followeth her kill with
the

sword. For the {priest} had said, Let her not be s

lain in the house of the LORD.

priest <2KI11 -15> But Jehoiada the {priest} commanded the
captains

of the hundreds, the officers of the host, and said unto them,
Have

her forth without the ranges: and him that followeth her kill
with

the sword. For the priest had said, Let her not be s

lain in the house of the LORD.

priest <2KI11 -18> And all the people of the land went into the

house of Baal, and brake it down; his altars and his images brake

they in pieces thoroughly, and slew Mattan the {priest} of Baal

before the altars. And the priest appointed officers over the

house of the LORD.

priest <2KI11 -18> And all the people of the land went into the

house of Baal, and brake it down; his altars and his images brake

they in pieces thoroughly, and slew Mattan the priest of Baal
before

the altars. And the {priest} appointed officers over the

house of the LORD.

priest <2KI12 -2> And Jehoash did [that which was] right in the

sight of the LORD all his days wherein Jehoiada the {priest}

instructed him.

priest <2KI12 -7> Then king Jehoash called for Jehoiada the

{priest}, and the [other] priests, and said unto them, Why
repair ye

not the breaches of the house? now therefore receive no [more]
money

of your acquaintance, but deliver it for the breaches of

the house.

priest <2KI12 -9> But Jehoiada the {priest} took a chest, and
bored

a hole in the lid of it, and set it beside the altar, on the
right

side as one cometh into the house of the LORD: and the priests
that

kept the door put therein all the money [that was] b

rought into the house of the LORD.

priest <2KI12 -10> And it was [so], when they saw that [there
was]

much money in the chest, that the king's scribe and the high

{priest} came up, and they put up in bags, and told the money
that

was found in the house of the LORD.

priest <2KI16 -10> And king Ahaz went to Damascus to meet

Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, and saw an altar that [was] at

Damascus: and king Ahaz sent to Urijah the {priest} the fashion
of

the altar, and the pattern of it, according to all the
workmanship

thereof.

priest <2KI16 -11> And Urijah the {priest} built an altar
according

to all that king Ahaz had sent from Damascus: so Urijah the
priest

made [it] against king Ahaz came from Damascus.

priest <2KI16 -11> And Urijah the priest built an altar
according to

all that king Ahaz had sent from Damascus: so Urijah the {priest}

made [it] against king Ahaz came from Damascus.

priest <2KI16 -15> And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the {priest},

saying, Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, and

the evening meat offering, and the king's burnt sacrifice, and
his

meat offering, with the burnt offering of all the people o

f the land, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings;
and

sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the

blood of the sacrifice: and the brazen altar shall be for me to

inquire [by].

priest <2KI16 -16> Thus did Urijah the {priest}, according to all

that king Ahaz commanded.

priest <2KI22 -4> Go up to Hilkiah the high {priest}, that he may

sum the silver which is brought into the house of the LORD, which

the keepers of the door have gathered of the people:

priest <2KI22 -8> And Hilkiah the high {priest} said unto Shaphan

the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the

LORD. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.

priest <2KI22 -10> And Shaphan the scribe showed the king,
saying,

Hilkiah the {priest} hath delivered me a book. And Shaphan read
it

before the king.

priest <2KI22 -12> And the king commanded Hilkiah the {priest},
and

Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Achbor the son of Michaiah, and

Shaphan the scribe, and Asahiah a servant of the king's, saying,

priest <2KI22 -14> So Hilkiah the {priest}, and Ahikam, and
Achbor,

and Shaphan, and Asahiah, went unto Huldah the prophetess, the
wife

of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the

wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college;) a

nd they communed with her.

priest <2KI23 -4> And the king commanded Hilkiah the high
{priest},

and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door,
to

bring forth out of the temple of the LORD all the vessels that
were

made for Baal, and for the grove, and for all the

host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the
fields

of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel.

priest <2KI23 -24> Moreover the [workers with] familiar spirits,
and

the wizards, and the images, and the idols, and all the
abominations

that were spied in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, did Josiah

put away, that he might perform the words of the la

w which were written in the book that Hilkiah the {priest} found
in

the house of the LORD.

priest <2KI25 -18> And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the

chief priest, and Zephaniah the second {priest}, and the three

keepers of the door:

priest <2KI25 -18> And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the

chief {priest}, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three

keepers of the door:

priest <1CH16 -39> And Zadok the {priest}, and his brethren the

priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that

[was] at Gibeon,

priest <1CH24 -6> And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe,

[one] of the Levites, wrote them before the king, and the
princes,

and Zadok the {priest}, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and

[before] the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites:

one principal household being taken for Eleazar, and [one] taken

for Ithamar.

priest <1CH27 -5> The third captain of the host for the third
month

[was] Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, a chief {priest}: and in his

course [were] twenty and four thousand.

priest <1CH29 -22> And did eat and drink before the LORD on that
day

with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king
the

second time, and anointed [him] unto the LORD [to be] the chief

governor, and Zadok [to be] {priest}.

priest <2CH13 -9> Have ye not cast out the priests of the LORD,
the

sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and have made you priests after
the

manner of the nations of [other] lands? so that whosoever cometh
to

consecrate himself with a young bullock and seven r

ams, [the same] may be a {priest} of [them that are] no gods.

priest <2CH15 -3> Now for a long season Israel [hath been]
without

the true God, and without a teaching {priest}, and without law.

priest <2CH19 -11> And, behold, Amariah the chief {priest} [is]
over

you in all matters of the LORD; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael,
the

ruler of the house of Judah, for all the king's matters: also the

Levites [shall be] officers before you. Deal courag

eously, and the LORD shall be with the good.

priest <2CH22 -11> But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king,
took

Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's
sons

that were slain, and put him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So

Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of J

ehoiada the {priest}, (for she was the sister of Ahaziah,) hid
him

from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.

priest <2CH23 -8> So the Levites and all Judah did according to
all

things that Jehoiada the {priest} had commanded, and took every
man

his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them that were
to

go [out] on the sabbath: for Jehoiada the priest di

smissed not the courses.

priest <2CH23 -8> So the Levites and all Judah did according to
all

things that Jehoiada the priest had commanded, and took every man

his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them that were
to

go [out] on the sabbath: for Jehoiada the {priest} di

smissed not the courses.

priest <2CH23 -9> Moreover Jehoiada the {priest} delivered to the

captains of hundreds spears, and bucklers, and shields, that [had

been] king David's, which [were] in the house of God.

priest <2CH23 -14> Then Jehoiada the {priest} brought out the

captains of hundreds that were set over the host, and said unto

them, Have her forth of the ranges: and whoso followeth her, let
him

be slain with the sword. For the priest said, Slay her not i

n the house of the LORD.

priest <2CH23 -14> Then Jehoiada the priest brought out the
captains

of hundreds that were set over the host, and said unto them, Have

her forth of the ranges: and whoso followeth her, let him be
slain

with the sword. For the {priest} said, Slay her not i

n the house of the LORD.

priest <2CH23 -17> Then all the people went to the house of Baal,

and brake it down, and brake his altars and his images in pieces,

and slew Mattan the {priest} of Baal before the altars.

priest <2CH24 -2> And Joash did [that which was] right in the
sight

of the LORD all the days of Jehoiada the {priest}.

priest <2CH24 -20> And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the
son

of Jehoiada the {priest}, which stood above the people, and said

unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of
the

LORD, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsak

en the LORD, he hath also forsaken you.

priest <2CH24 -25> And when they were departed from him, (for
they

left him in great diseases,) his own servants conspired against
him

for the blood of the sons of Jehoiada the {priest}, and slew him
on

his bed, and he died: and they buried him in the cit

y of David, but they buried him not in the sepulchres of the
kings.

priest <2CH26 -17> And Azariah the {priest} went in after him,
and

with him fourscore priests of the LORD, [that were] valiant men:

priest <2CH26 -20> And Azariah the chief {priest}, and all the

priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he [was] leprous in his

forehead, and they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself
hasted

also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him.

priest <2CH31 -10> And Azariah the chief {priest} of the house of

Zadok answered him, and said, Since [the people] began to bring
the

offerings into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat,
and

have left plenty: for the LORD hath blessed his peop

le; and that which is left [is] this great store.

priest <2CH34 -9> And when they came to Hilkiah the high
{priest},

they delivered the money that was brought into the house of God,

which the Levites that kept the doors had gathered of the hand of

Manasseh and Ephraim, and of all the remnant of Israel, a

nd of all Judah and Benjamin; and they returned to Jerusalem.

priest <2CH34 -14> And when they brought out the money that was

brought into the house of the LORD, Hilkiah the {priest} found a

book of the law of the LORD [given] by Moses.

priest <2CH34 -18> Then Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying,

Hilkiah the {priest} hath given me a book. And Shaphan read it

before the king.

priest And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they
should

not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a {priest}
with

Urim and with Thummim.

priest The son of Abishua, the son of Phinehas, the
son of

Eleazar, the son of Aaron the chief {priest}:

priest Now this [is] the copy of the letter that the
king

Artaxerxes gave unto Ezra the {priest}, the scribe, [even] a
scribe

of the words of the commandments of the LORD, and of his
statutes to

Israel.

priest Artaxerxes, king of kings, unto Ezra the
{priest},

a scribe of the law of the God of heaven, perfect [peace], and at

such a time.

priest And I, [even] I Artaxerxes the king, do make a

decree to all the treasurers which [are] beyond the river, that

whatsoever Ezra the {priest}, the scribe of the law of the God of

heaven, shall require of you, it be done speedily,

priest Now on the fourth day was the silver and the
gold

and the vessels weighed in the house of our God by the hand of

Meremoth the son of Uriah the {priest}; and with him [was]
Eleazar

the son of Phinehas; and with them [was] Jozabad the son

of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites;

priest And Ezra the {priest} stood up, and said unto

them, Ye have transgressed, and have taken strange wives, to

increase the trespass of Israel.

priest And the children of the captivity did so. And

Ezra the {priest}, [with] certain chief of the fathers, after the

house of their fathers, and all of them by [their] names, were

separated, and sat down in the first day of the tenth month t

o examine the matter.

priest Then Eliashib the high {priest} rose up with his

brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they

sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of

Meah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananeel.

priest After him Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly

repaired the other piece, from the turning [of the wall] unto the

door of the house of Eliashib the high {priest}.

priest And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they
should

not eat of the most holy things, till there stood [up] a {priest}

with Urim and Thummim.

priest And Ezra the {priest} brought the law before the

congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with

understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month.

priest And Nehemiah, which [is] the Tirshatha, and Ezra

the {priest} the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people,

said unto all the people, This day [is] holy unto the LORD your
God;

mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they

heard the words of the law.

priest And the {priest} the son of Aaron shall be
with

the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall

bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to
the

chambers, into the treasure house.

priest These [were] in the days of Joiakim the son of

Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the

governor, and of Ezra the {priest}, the scribe.

priest And before this, Eliashib the {priest}, having
the

oversight of the chamber of the house of our God, [was] allied
unto

Tobiah:

priest And I made treasurers over the treasuries,

Shelemiah the {priest}, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites,

Pedaiah: and next to them [was] Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son
of

Mattaniah: for they were counted faithful, and their office

[was] to distribute unto their brethren.

priest And [one] of the sons of Joiada, the son of

Eliashib the high {priest}, [was] son in law to Sanballat the

Horonite: therefore I chased him from me.

priest The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou

[art] a {priest} for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

priest And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record,

Uriah the {priest}, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.

priest And it shall be, as with the people, so with
the

{priest}; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the
maid,

so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as
with

the lender, so with the borrower; as with the take

r of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.

priest But they also have erred through wine, and
through

strong drink are out of the way; the {priest} and the prophet
have

erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they
are

out of the way through strong drink; they err in vi

sion, they stumble [in] judgment.

priest For from the least of them even unto the
greatest

of them every one [is] given to covetousness; and from the
prophet

even unto the {priest} every one dealeth falsely.

priest Therefore will I give their wives unto others,

[and] their fields to them that shall inherit [them]: for every
one

from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness,
from

the prophet even unto the {priest} every one dealeth

falsely.

priest If I go forth into the field, then behold the

slain with the sword! and if I enter into the city, then behold
them

that are sick with famine! yea, both the prophet and the
{priest} go

about into a land that they know not.

priest Then said they, Come, and let us devise
devices

against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the {priest},

nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come,
and

let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not give

heed to any of his words.

priest Now Pashur the son of Immer the {priest}, who

[was] also chief governor in the house of the LORD, heard that

Jeremiah prophesied these things.

priest The word which came unto Jeremiah from the
LORD,

when king Zedekiah sent unto him Pashur the son of Melchiah, and

Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the {priest}, saying,

priest For both prophet and {priest} are profane;
yea,

in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD.

priest And when this people, or the prophet, or a

{priest}, shall ask thee, saying, What [is] the burden of the
LORD?

thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake
you,

saith the LORD.

priest And [as for] the prophet, and the {priest},
and

the people, that shall say, The burden of the LORD, I will even

punish that man and his house.

priest Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of

Israel, saying, Because thou hast sent letters in thy name unto
all

the people that [are] at Jerusalem, and to Zephaniah the son of

Maaseiah the {priest}, and to all the priests, saying,

priest The LORD hath made thee {priest} in the stead
of

Jehoiada the priest, that ye should be officers in the house of
the

LORD, for every man [that is] mad, and maketh himself a prophet,

that thou shouldest put him in prison, and in the stoc

ks.

priest The LORD hath made thee priest in the stead of

Jehoiada the {priest}, that ye should be officers in the house of

the LORD, for every man [that is] mad, and maketh himself a
prophet,

that thou shouldest put him in prison, and in the stoc

ks.

priest And Zephaniah the {priest} read this letter in

the ears of Jeremiah the prophet.

priest And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of

Shelemiah and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the {priest} to the

prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray now unto the LORD our God for us.

priest And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the

chief {priest}, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three

keepers of the door:

priest And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the

chief priest, and Zephaniah the second {priest}, and the three

keepers of the door:

priest And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle,
as

[if it were of] a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the

assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to
be

forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation

of his anger the king and the {priest}.

priest Behold, O LORD, and consider to whom thou hast

done this. Shall the women eat their fruit, [and] children of a
span

long? shall the {priest} and the prophet be slain in the
sanctuary

of the Lord?

priest The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel

the {priest}, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by
the

river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.

priest Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour

shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the
prophet;

but the law shall perish from the {priest}, and counsel from the

ancients.

priest And they shall not come near unto me, to do
the

office of a {priest} unto me, nor to come near to any of my holy

things, in the most holy [place]: but they shall bear their
shame,

and their abominations which they have committed.

priest Neither shall any {priest} drink wine, when
they

enter into the inner court.

priest Neither shall they take for their wives a
widow,

nor her that is put away: but they shall take maidens of the
seed of

the house of Israel, or a widow that had a {priest} before.

priest And the first of all the firstfruits of all

[things], and every oblation of all, of every [sort] of your

oblations, shall be the priest's: ye shall also give unto the

{priest} the first of your dough, that he may cause the blessing
to

r

est in thine house.

priest And the {priest} shall take of the blood of
the

sin offering, and put [it] upon the posts of the house, and upon
the

four corners of the settle of the altar, and upon the posts of
the

gate of the inner court.

priest Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another: for
thy

people [are] as they that strive with the {priest}.

priest My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:

because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee,
that

thou shalt be no {priest} to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the
law

of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

priest And there shall be, like people, like {priest}:
and

I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings.

priest Then Amaziah the {priest} of Bethel sent to

Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against
thee in

the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear
all

his words.

priest In the second year of Darius the king, in the
sixth

month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD
by

Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel,
governor of

Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high

{priest}, saying,

priest Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and
Joshua

the son of Josedech, the high {priest}, with all the remnant of
the

people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of

Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him,

and the people did fear before the LORD.

priest And the LORD stirred up the spirit of
Zerubbabel

the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua

the son of Josedech, the high {priest}, and the spirit of all the

remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the

house of the LORD of hosts, their God,

priest Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel,

governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high

{priest}, and to the residue of the people, saying,

priest Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD;

and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high {priest}; and
be

strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for
I

[am] with you, saith the LORD of hosts:

priest And he showed me Joshua the high {priest}
standing

before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right
hand

to resist him.

priest Hear now, O Joshua the high {priest}, thou, and
thy

fellows that sit before thee: for they [are] men wondered at:
for,

behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.

priest Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and

set [them] upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high

{priest};

priest Even he shall build the temple of the LORD;
and he

shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne;
and he

shall be a {priest} upon his throne: and the counsel of peace
shall

be between them both.

priest And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man;
but

go thy way, show thyself to the {priest}, and offer the gift that

Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

priest Then assembled together the chief priests, and
the

scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the
high

{priest}, who was called Caiaphas,

priest And they that had laid hold on Jesus led [him]

away to Caiaphas the high {priest}, where the scribes and the
elders

were assembled.

priest And the high {priest} arose, and said unto
him,

Answerest thou nothing? what [is it which] these witness against

thee?

priest But Jesus held his peace. And the high
{priest}

answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that

thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.

priest Then the high {priest} rent his clothes,
saying,

He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses?

behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

priest And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any

man: but go thy way, show thyself to the {priest}, and offer for
thy

cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony
unto

them.

priest How he went into the house of God in the days
of

Abiathar the high {priest}, and did eat the showbread, which is
not

lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which
were

with him?

priest And one of them that stood by drew a sword,
and

smote a servant of the high {priest}, and cut off his ear.

priest And they led Jesus away to the high {priest}:
and

with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and
the

scribes.

priest And Peter followed him afar off, even into the

palace of the high {priest}: and he sat with the servants, and

warmed himself at the fire.

priest And the high {priest} stood up in the midst,
and

asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which]
these

witness against thee?

priest But he held his peace, and answered nothing.

Again the high {priest} asked him, and said unto him, Art thou
the

Christ, the Son of the Blessed?

priest Then the high {priest} rent his clothes, and

saith, What need we any further witnesses?

priest And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there

cometh one of the maids of the high {priest}:

priest There was in the days of Herod, the king of
Judaea,

a certain {priest} named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and
his

wife was] of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was] Elisabeth.

priest And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and

show thyself to the {priest}, and offer for thy cleansing,
according

as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

priest And by chance there came down a certain
{priest}

that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

priest And one of them smote the servant of the high

{priest}, and cut off his right ear.

priest And one of them, named] Caiaphas, being the
high

{priest} that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,

priest And this spake he not of himself: but being
high

{priest} that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that

nation;

priest And led him away to Annas first; for he was

father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high {priest} that same

year.

priest And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did]

another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest,
and

went in with Jesus into the palace of the high {priest}.

priest And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did]

another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high {priest},

and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest.

priest But Peter stood at the door without. Then went

out that other disciple, which was known unto the high {priest},
and

spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter.

priest The high {priest} then asked Jesus of his

disciples, and of his doctrine.

priest And when he had thus spoken, one of the
officers

which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying,

Answerest thou the high {priest} so?

priest Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the

high {priest}.

priest One of the servants of the high {priest},
being

his] kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see thee
in

the garden with him?

priest And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and
John,

and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high

{priest}, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

priest And Annas the high {priest}, and Caiaphas, and

John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the
high

priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

priest Then the high {priest} rose up, and all they
that

were with him, which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were
filled

with indignation,

priest And when they heard that], they entered into
the

temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high {priest}
came,

and they that were with him, and called the council together, and

all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to

the prison to have them brought.

priest Now when the high {priest} and the captain of
the

temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of

them whereunto this would grow.

priest And when they had brought them, they set them]

before the council: and the high {priest} asked them,

priest Then said the high {priest}, Are these things
so?

priest And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and

slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high

{priest},

priest Then the {priest} of Jupiter, which was before

their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would
have

done sacrifice with the people.

priest As also the high {priest} doth bear me witness,

and all the estate of the elders: from whom also I received
letters

unto the brethren, and went to Damascus, to bring them which were

there bound unto Jerusalem, for to be punished.

priest And the high {priest} Ananias commanded them
that

stood by him to smite him on the mouth.

priest And they that stood by said, Revilest thou
God's

high {priest}?

priest Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he
was

the high {priest}: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil
of

the ruler of thy people.

priest And after five days Ananias the high {priest}

descended with the elders, and with] a certain orator named]

Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.

priest Then the high {priest} and the chief of the
Jews

informed him against Paul, and besought him,

priest Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be
made

like unto his] brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful

high {priest} in things pertaining] to God, to make
reconciliation

for the sins of the people.

priest Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the
heavenly

calling, consider the Apostle and High {Priest} of our
profession,

Christ Jesus;

priest Seeing then that we have a great high {priest},

that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us
hold

fast our] profession.

priest For we have not an high {priest} which cannot
be

touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all
points

tempted like as we are, yet] without sin.

priest For every high {priest} taken from among men is

ordained for men in things pertaining] to God, that he may offer

both gifts and sacrifices for sins:

priest So also Christ glorified not himself to be made
an

high {priest}; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day

have I begotten thee.

priest As he saith also in another place], Thou art] a

{priest} for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

priest Called of God an high {priest} after the order
of

Melchisedec.

priest Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even]

Jesus, made an high {priest} for ever after the order of

Melchisedec.

priest For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, {priest} of

the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter
of

the kings, and blessed him;

priest Without father, without mother, without descent,

having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like

unto the Son of God; abideth a {priest} continually.

priest If therefore perfection were by the Levitical

priesthood, for under it the people received the law,) what
further

need was there] that another {priest} should rise after the
order of

Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaro

n?

priest And it is yet far more evident: for that after
the

similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another {priest},

priest For he testifieth, Thou art] a {priest} for
ever

after the order of Melchisedec.

priest And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made

{priest}]:

priest For those priests were made without an oath;
but

this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and
will

not repent, Thou art] a {priest} for ever after the order of

Melchisedec:)

priest For such an high {priest} became us, who is]
holy,

harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than
the

heavens;

priest Now of the things which we have spoken this is]
the

sum: We have such an high {priest}, who is set on the right hand
of

the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

priest For every high {priest} is ordained to offer
gifts

and sacrifices: wherefore it is] of necessity that this man have

somewhat also to offer.

priest For if he were on earth, he should not be a

{priest}, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts
according

to the law:

priest But into the second went] the high {priest}
alone

once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself,

and for] the errors of the people:

priest But Christ being come an high {priest} of good

things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not
made

with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

priest Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as
the

high {priest} entereth into the holy place every year with blood
of

others;

priest And every {priest} standeth daily ministering
and

offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take
away

sins:

priest And having] an high {priest} over the house of

God;

priest For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is

brought into the sanctuary by the high {priest} for sin, are
burned

without the camp.
