possession And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed

after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of

Canaan, for an everlasting {possession}; and I will be their God.

possession I [am] a stranger and a sojourner with you:

give me a {possession} of a buryingplace with you, that I may
bury

my dead out of my sight.

possession That he may give me the cave of Machpelah,

which he hath, which [is] in the end of his field; for as much
money

as it is worth he shall give it me for a {possession} of a

buryingplace amongst you.

possession Unto Abraham for a {possession} in the

presence of the children of Heth, before all that went in at the

gate of his city.

possession And the field, and the cave that [is]

therein, were made sure unto Abraham for a {possession} of a

buryingplace by the sons of Heth.

possession For he had possession of flocks, and

{possession} of herds, and great store of servants: and the

Philistines envied him.

possession For he had {possession} of flocks, and

possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the

Philistines envied him.

possession Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these [be] the
dukes

of Edom, according to their habitations in the land of their

{possession}: he [is] Esau the father of the Edomites.

possession And Joseph placed his father and his

brethren, and gave them a {possession} in the land of Egypt, in
the

best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had
commanded.

possession And said unto me, Behold, I will make thee

fruitful, and multiply thee, and I will make of thee a multitude
of

people; and will give this land to thy seed after thee [for] an

everlasting {possession}.

possession In the cave that [is] in the field of

Machpelah, which [is] before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which

Abraham bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite for a

{possession} of a buryingplace.

possession For his sons carried him into the land of

Canaan, and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah,
which

Abraham bought with the field for a {possession} of a
buryingplace

of Ephron the Hittite, before Mamre.

possession When ye be come into the land of Canaan,

which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of

leprosy in a house of the land of your {possession};

possession When ye be come into the land of Canaan,

which I give to you for a {possession}, and I put the plague of

leprosy in a house of the land of your possession;

possession And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and

proclaim liberty throughout [all] the land unto all the
inhabitants

thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return
every

man unto his {possession}, and ye shall return every m

an unto his family.

possession In the year of this jubilee ye shall
return

every man unto his {possession}.

possession And in all the land of your {possession}
ye

shall grant a redemption for the land.

possession If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath
sold

away [some] of his {possession}, and if any of his kin come to

redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.

possession Then let him count the years of the sale

thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold
it;

that he may return unto his {possession}.

possession But if he be not able to restore [it] to
him,

then that which is sold shall remain in the hand of him that hath

bought it until the year of jubilee: and in the jubilee it shall
go

out, and he shall return unto his {possession}.

possession Notwithstanding the cities of the Levites,

[and] the houses of the cities of their {possession}, may the

Levites redeem at any time.

possession And if a man purchase of the Levites, then

the house that was sold, and the city of his {possession}, shall
go

out in [the year of] jubilee: for the houses of the cities of the

Levites [are] their possession among the children of Is

rael.

possession And if a man purchase of the Levites, then

the house that was sold, and the city of his possession, shall go

out in [the year of] jubilee: for the houses of the cities of the

Levites [are] their {possession} among the children of Is

rael.

possession But the field of the suburbs of their
cities

may not be sold; for it [is] their perpetual {possession}.

possession And [then] shall he depart from thee,
[both]

he and his children with him, and shall return unto his own
family,

and unto the {possession} of his fathers shall he return.

possession Moreover of the children of the strangers

that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their

families that [are] with you, which they begat in your land: and

they shall be your {possession}.

possession And ye shall take them as an inheritance
for

your children after you, to inherit [them for] a {possession};
they

shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the
children

of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with

rigour.

possession And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD

[some part] of a field of his {possession}, then thy estimation

shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed

[shall be valued] at fifty shekels of silver.

possession But the field, when it goeth out in the

jubilee, shall be holy unto the LORD, as a field devoted; the

{possession} thereof shall be the priest's.

possession And if [a man] sanctify unto the LORD a
field

which he hath bought, which [is] not of the fields of his

{possession};

possession In the year of the jubilee the field shall

return unto him of whom it was bought, [even] to him to whom the

{possession} of the land [did belong].

possession Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a
man

shall devote unto the LORD of all that he hath, [both] of man and

beast, and of the field of his {possession}, shall be sold or

redeemed: every devoted thing [is] most holy unto the LORD.

possession And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also

shall be a {possession} for his enemies; and Israel shall do

valiantly.

possession And Edom shall be a {possession}, Seir
also

shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do

valiantly.

possession According to the lot shall the
{possession}

thereof be divided between many and few.

possession Why should the name of our father be done
away

from among his family, because he hath no son? Give unto us

[therefore] a {possession} among the brethren of our father.

possession The daughters of Zelophehad speak right:
thou

shalt surely give them a {possession} of an inheritance among
their

father's brethren; and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their

father to pass unto them.

possession Wherefore, said they, if we have found
grace

in thy sight, let this land be given unto thy servants for a

{possession}, [and] bring us not over Jordan.

possession And the land be subdued before the LORD:
then

afterward ye shall return, and be guiltless before the LORD, and

before Israel; and this land shall be your {possession} before
the

LORD.

possession And Moses said unto them, If the children
of

Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan,
every

man armed to battle, before the LORD, and the land shall be
subdued

before you; then ye shall give them the land of Gi

lead for a {possession}:

possession We will pass over armed before the LORD
into

the land of Canaan, that the {possession} of our inheritance on
this

side Jordan [may be] ours.

possession Command the children of Israel, that they
give

unto the Levites of the inheritance of their {possession} cities
to

dwell in; and ye shall give [also] unto the Levites suburbs for
the

cities round about them.

possession And the cities which ye shall give [shall
be]

of the {possession} of the children of Israel: from [them that
have]

many ye shall give many; but from [them that have] few ye shall
give

few: every one shall give of his cities unto the

Levites according to his inheritance which he inheriteth.

possession Because he should have remained in the
city

of his refuge until the death of the high priest: but after the

death of the high priest the slayer shall return into the land of

his {possession}.

possession Meddle not with them; for I will not give
you

of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have

given mount Seir unto Esau [for] a {possession}.

possession And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the

Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not
give

thee of their land [for] a possession; because I have given Ar
unto

the children of Lot [for] a {possession}.

possession And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the

Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not
give

thee of their land [for] a {possession}; because I have given Ar

unto the children of Lot [for] a possession.

possession The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime;
but

the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them

from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto
the

land of his {possession}, which the LORD gave unto the

m.

possession And [when] thou comest nigh over against
the

children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I

will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon [any]

{possession}; because I have given it unto the children of L

ot [for] a possession.

possession And [when] thou comest nigh over against
the

children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I

will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon [any]

possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot

[for] a {possession}.

possession Until the LORD have given rest unto your

brethren, as well as unto you, and [until] they also possess the

land which the LORD your God hath given them beyond Jordan: and

[then] shall ye return every man unto his {possession}, which I

have given you.

possession And what he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the

sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth,

and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and

all the substance that [was] in their {possession}, in th

e midst of all Israel:

possession Get thee up into this mountain Abarim,
[unto]

mount Nebo, which [is] in the land of Moab, that [is] over
against

Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the

children of Israel for a {possession}:

possession Until the LORD have given your brethren
rest,

as [he hath given] you, and they also have possessed the land
which

the LORD your God giveth them: then ye shall return unto the
land of

your {possession}, and enjoy it, which Moses the L

ORD'S servant gave you on this side Jordan toward the sunrising.

possession Them did Moses the servant of the LORD and
the

children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of the LORD gave
it

[for] a {possession} unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and
the

half tribe of Manasseh.

possession And these [are] the kings of the country
which

Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side Jordan on
the

west, from Baalgad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount

Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Joshua gave unto th

e tribes of Israel [for] a {possession} according to their

divisions;

possession And Moses gave [inheritance] unto the half

tribe of Manasseh: and [this] was [the {possession}] of the half

tribe of the children of Manasseh by their families.

possession But the fields of the city, and the
villages

thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his

{possession}.

possession All the cities of the Levites within the

{possession} of the children of Israel [were] forty and eight
cities

with their suburbs.

possession And now the LORD your God hath given rest
unto

your brethren, as he promised them: therefore now return ye, and
get

you unto your tents, [and] unto the land of your {possession},
which

Moses the servant of the LORD gave you on the ot

her side Jordan.

possession Now to the [one] half of the tribe of
Manasseh

Moses had given [{possession}] in Bashan: but unto the [other]
half

thereof gave Joshua among their brethren on this side Jordan

westward. And when Joshua sent them away also unto their

tents, then he blessed them,

possession And the children of Reuben and the
children of

Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from
the

children of Israel out of Shiloh, which [is] in the land of
Canaan,

to go unto the country of Gilead, to the land of th

eir {possession}, whereof they were possessed, according to the
word

of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

possession Notwithstanding, if the land of your

possession [be] unclean, [then] pass ye over unto the land of the

possession of the LORD, wherein the LORD'S tabernacle dwelleth,
and

take {possession} among us: but rebel not against the LORD, n

or rebel against us, in building you an altar beside the altar of

the LORD our God.

possession Notwithstanding, if the land of your

possession [be] unclean, [then] pass ye over unto the land of the

{possession} of the LORD, wherein the LORD'S tabernacle dwelleth,

and take possession among us: but rebel not against the LORD, n

or rebel against us, in building you an altar beside the altar of

the LORD our God.

possession Notwithstanding, if the land of your

{possession} [be] unclean, [then] pass ye over unto the land of
the

possession of the LORD, wherein the LORD'S tabernacle dwelleth,
and

take possession among us: but rebel not against the LORD, n

or rebel against us, in building you an altar beside the altar of

the LORD our God.

possession <1KI21 -15> And it came to pass, when Jezebel heard
that

Naboth was stoned, and was dead, that Jezebel said to Ahab,
Arise,

take {possession} of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite,
which he

refused to give thee for money: for Naboth is not a

live, but dead.

possession <1KI21 -16> And it came to pass, when Ahab heard that

Naboth was dead, that Ahab rose up to go down to the vineyard of

Naboth the Jezreelite, to take {possession} of it.

possession <1KI21 -19> And thou shalt speak unto him, saying,
Thus

saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken {possession}?
And

thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the
place

where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lic

k thy blood, even thine.

possession <1CH28 -1> And David assembled all the princes of
Israel,

the princes of the tribes, and the captains of the companies that

ministered to the king by course, and the captains over the

thousands, and captains over the hundreds, and the stewards

over all the substance and {possession} of the king, and of his

sons, with the officers, and with the mighty men, and with all
the

valiant men, unto Jerusalem.

possession <2CH11 -14> For the Levites left their suburbs and
their

{possession}, and came to Judah and Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and
his

sons had cast them off from executing the priest's office unto
the

LORD:

possession <2CH20 -11> Behold, [I say, how] they reward us, to
come

to cast us out of thy {possession}, which thou hast given us to

inherit.

possession <2CH31 -1> Now when all this was finished, all Israel

that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake the

images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the
high

places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ep

hraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them
all.

Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his

{possession}, into their own cities.

possession Now these [are] the chief of the province
that

dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in

his {possession} in their cities, [to wit], Israel, the priests,
and

the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of

Solomon's servants.

possession Ask of me, and I shall give [thee] the
heathen

[for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth
[for]

thy {possession}.

possession For they got not the land in {possession}
by

their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy
right

hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because
thou

hadst a favour unto them.

possession For God will save Zion, and will build the

cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in

{possession}.

possession Who said, Let us take to ourselves the
houses

of God in {possession}.

possession Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray
in

an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the
upright

shall have good [things] in {possession}.

possession I will also make it a {possession} for the

bittern, and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the besom
of

destruction, saith the LORD of hosts.

possession Son of man, thy brethren, [even] thy

brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel

wholly, [are] they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have
said,

Get you far from the LORD: unto us is this land given in {posses

sion}.

possession Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to
the

men of the east for a {possession}, and they shall set their
palaces

in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy
fruit,

and they shall drink thy milk.

possession Unto the men of the east with the
Ammonites,

and will give them in {possession}, that the Ammonites may not be

remembered among the nations.

possession Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the enemy

hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are
ours in

{possession}:

possession Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the

Lord GOD; Because they have made [you] desolate, and swallowed
you

up on every side, that ye might be a {possession} unto the
residue

of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talke

rs, and [are] an infamy of the people:

possession Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely
in

the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the

heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land
into

their {possession} with the joy of all [their] heart, wi

th despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.

possession And it shall be unto them for an
inheritance:

I [am] their inheritance: and ye shall give them no possession in

Israel: I [am] their {possession}.

possession And it shall be unto them for an
inheritance:

I [am] their inheritance: and ye shall give them no {possession}
in

Israel: I [am] their possession.

possession And the five and twenty thousand of length,

and the ten thousand of breadth, shall also the Levites, the

ministers of the house, have for themselves, for a {possession}
for

twenty chambers.

possession And ye shall appoint the {possession} of
the

city five thousand broad, and five and twenty thousand long, over

against the oblation of the holy [portion]: it shall be for the

whole house of Israel.

possession And a [portion shall be] for the prince on
the

one side and on the other side of the oblation of the holy

[portion], and of the {possession} of the city, before the
oblation

of the holy [portion], and before the possession of the cit

y, from the west side westward, and from the east side eastward:
and

the length [shall be] over against one of the portions, from the

west border unto the east border.

possession And a [portion shall be] for the prince on
the

one side and on the other side of the oblation of the holy

[portion], and of the possession of the city, before the
oblation of

the holy [portion], and before the {possession} of the cit

y, from the west side westward, and from the east side eastward:
and

the length [shall be] over against one of the portions, from the

west border unto the east border.

possession In the land shall be his {possession} in

Israel: and my princes shall no more oppress my people; and [the

rest of] the land shall they give to the house of Israel
according

to their tribes.

possession Thus saith the Lord GOD; If the prince
give a

gift unto any of his sons, the inheritance thereof shall be his

sons'; it [shall be] their {possession} by inheritance.

possession Moreover the prince shall not take of the

people's inheritance by oppression, to thrust them out of their

{possession}; [but] he shall give his sons inheritance out of his

own possession: that my people be not scattered every man fr

om his possession.

possession Moreover the prince shall not take of the

people's inheritance by oppression, to thrust them out of their

possession; [but] he shall give his sons inheritance out of his
own

{possession}: that my people be not scattered every man fr

om his possession.

possession Moreover the prince shall not take of the

people's inheritance by oppression, to thrust them out of their

possession; [but] he shall give his sons inheritance out of his
own

possession: that my people be not scattered every man from

his {possession}.

possession All the oblation [shall be] five and
twenty

thousand by five and twenty thousand: ye shall offer the holy

oblation foursquare, with the {possession} of the city.

possession And the residue [shall be] for the prince,
on

the one side and on the other of the holy oblation, and of the

{possession} of the city, over against the five and twenty
thousand

of the oblation toward the east border, and westward ov

er against the five and twenty thousand toward the west border,
over

against the portions for the prince: and it shall be the holy

oblation; and the sanctuary of the house [shall be] in the midst

thereof.

possession Moreover from the possession of the
Levites,

and from the {possession} of the city, [being] in the midst [of

that] which is the prince's, between the border of Judah and the

border of Benjamin, shall be for the prince.

possession Moreover from the {possession} of the

Levites, and from the possession of the city, [being] in the
midst

[of that] which is the prince's, between the border of Judah and
the

border of Benjamin, shall be for the prince.

possession But a certain man named Ananias, with
Sapphira

his wife, sold a {possession},

possession And he gave him none inheritance in it, no,
not

so much as] to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would
give

it to him for a {possession}, and to his seed after him, when as

yet] he had no child.

possession Which also our fathers that came after
brought

in with Jesus into the {possession} of the Gentiles, whom God
drave

out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;

possession Which is the earnest of our inheritance
until

the redemption of the purchased {possession}, unto the praise of
his

glory.
