peradventure {Peradventure} there be fifty righteous

within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place
for

the fifty righteous that [are] therein?



peradventure {Peradventure} there shall lack five of
the

fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for [lack of]
five?

And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy

[it].



peradventure And he spake unto him yet again, and
said,

{Peradventure} there shall be forty found there. And he said, I
will

not do [it] for forty's sake.



peradventure And he said [unto him], Oh let not the
Lord

be angry, and I will speak: {Peradventure} there shall thirty be

found there. And he said, I will not do [it], if I find thirty

there.



peradventure And he said, Behold now, I have taken
upon

me to speak unto the Lord: {Peradventure} there shall be twenty

found there. And he said, I will not destroy [it] for twenty's
sake.



peradventure And he said, Oh let not the Lord be
angry,

and I will speak yet but this once: {Peradventure} ten shall be

found there. And he said, I will not destroy [it] for ten's sake.



peradventure And the servant said unto him,

{Peradventure} the woman will not be willing to follow me unto
this

land: must I needs bring thy son again unto the land from whence

thou camest?



peradventure And I said unto my master,
{Peradventure}

the woman will not follow me.



peradventure My father {peradventure} will feel me,
and

I shall seem to him as a deceiver; and I shall bring a curse upon

me, and not a blessing.



peradventure And Jacob answered and said to Laban,

Because I was afraid: for I said, {Peradventure} thou wouldest
take

by force thy daughters from me.



peradventure And say ye moreover, Behold, thy servant

Jacob [is] behind us. For he said, I will appease him with the

present that goeth before me, and afterward I will see his face;

{peradventure} he will accept of me.



peradventure Then said Judah to Tamar his daughter in

law, Remain a widow at thy father's house, till Shelah my son be

grown: for he said, Lest {peradventure} he die also, as his
brethren

[did]. And Tamar went and dwelt in her father's house.



peradventure But Benjamin, Joseph's brother, Jacob
sent

not with his brethren; for he said, Lest {peradventure} mischief

befall him.



peradventure And take double money in your hand; and
the

money that was brought again in the mouth of your sacks, carry
[it]

again in your hand; {peradventure} it [was] an oversight:



peradventure For how shall I go up to my father, and
the

lad [be] not with me? lest {peradventure} I see the evil that
shall

come on my father.



peradventure And when Joseph's brethren saw that
their

father was dead, they said, Joseph will {peradventure} hate us,
and

will certainly requite us all the evil which we did unto him.



peradventure And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had
let

the people go, that God led them not [through] the way of the
land

of the Philistines, although that [was] near; for God said, Lest

{peradventure} the people repent when they see war, and



they return to Egypt:



peradventure And it came to pass on the morrow, that

Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I

will go up unto the LORD; {peradventure} I shall make an
atonement

for your sin.



peradventure Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me

this people; for they [are] too mighty for me: {peradventure} I

shall prevail, [that] we may smite them, and [that] I may drive
them

out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest [i



s] blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.



peradventure Behold, [there is] a people come out of

Egypt, which covereth the face of the earth: come now, curse me

them; {peradventure} I shall be able to overcome them, and drive

them out.



peradventure And Balaam said unto Balak, Stand by thy

burnt offering, and I will go: {peradventure} the LORD will come
to

meet me: and whatsoever he showeth me I will tell thee. And he
went

to an high place.



peradventure And Balak said unto Balaam, Come, I pray

thee, I will bring thee unto another place; {peradventure} it
will

please God that thou mayest curse me them from thence.



peradventure And the men of Israel said unto the
Hivites,

{Peradventure} ye dwell among us; and how shall we make a league

with you?

die.
