this

day [is] a day of good tidings, and we hold our {peace}: if we
tarry

till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now

therefore come, that we may go and tell the king's househ

old.

peace <2KI9 -17> And there stood a watchman on the tower in
Jezreel,

and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a

company. And Joram said, Take an horseman, and send to meet them,

and let him say, [Is it] {peace}?

peace <2KI9 -18> So there went one on horseback to meet him, and

said, Thus saith the king, [Is it] peace? And Jehu said, What
hast

thou to do with {peace}? turn thee behind me. And the watchman
told,

saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not

again.

peace <2KI9 -18> So there went one on horseback to meet him, and

said, Thus saith the king, [Is it] {peace}? And Jehu said, What
hast

thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman
told,

saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not

again.

peace <2KI9 -19> Then he sent out a second on horseback, which
came

to them, and said, Thus saith the king, [Is it] peace? And Jehu

peace <2KI9 -22> And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that

the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts [are so]

many?

peace <2KI9 -22> And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that
he

said, [Is it] peace, Jehu? And he answered, What {peace}, so
long as

the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts [are so]

many?

peace <2KI9 -31> And as Jehu entered in at the gate, she said,
[Had]

Zimri {peace}, who slew his master?

peace <2KI16 -13> And he burnt his burnt offering and his meat

offering, and poured his drink offering, and sprinkled the blood
of

his {peace} offerings, upon the altar.

peace <2KI18 -36> But the people held their {peace}, and answered

him not a word: for the king's commandment was, saying, Answer
him

not.

peace <2KI20 -19> Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good [is] the
word

of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, [Is it] not
[good],

if {peace} and truth be in my days?

peace <2KI22 -20> Behold therefore, I will gather thee unto thy

fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into thy grave in {peace};
and

thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon
this

place. And they brought the king word again.

peace <1CH12 -18> Then the spirit came upon Amasai, [who was]
chief

of the captains, [and he said], Thine [are we], David, and on thy

side, thou son of Jesse: peace, {peace} [be] unto thee, and peace

[be] to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then D

avid received them, and made them captains of the band.

peace <1CH12 -18> Then the spirit came upon Amasai, [who was]
chief

of the captains, [and he said], Thine [are we], David, and on thy

side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace [be] unto thee, and {peace}

[be] to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then D

avid received them, and made them captains of the band.

peace <1CH12 -18> Then the spirit came upon Amasai, [who was]
chief

of the captains, [and he said], Thine [are we], David, and on thy

side, thou son of Jesse: {peace}, peace [be] unto thee, and peace

[be] to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then D

avid received them, and made them captains of the band.

about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give {peace} and

quietness unto Israel in his days.

peace <2CH7 -7> Moreover Solomon hallowed the middle of the court

that [was] before the house of the LORD: for there he offered
burnt

offerings, and the fat of the {peace} offerings, because the
brazen

altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive

the burnt offerings, and the meat offerings, and the fat.

peace <2CH15 -5> And in those times [there was] no {peace} to him

that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations
[were]

upon all the inhabitants of the countries.

peace <2CH18 -16> Then he said, I did see all Israel scattered
upon

peace <2CH31 -2> And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the
priests

the

good of the land, and leave [it] for an inheritance to

your children for ever.

peace And I said unto them, We after our ability have

redeemed our brethren the Jews, which were sold unto the heathen;

and will ye even sell your brethren? or shall they be sold unto
us?

Then held they their {peace}, and found nothing [to answe

r].

peace So the Levites stilled all the people, saying,
Hold

your {peace}, for the day [is] holy; neither be ye grieved.

peace For if thou altogether holdest thy {peace} at
this

time, [then] shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the

Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be

destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the

kingdom for [such] a time as this?

peace And he sent the letters unto all the Jews, to
the

hundred twenty and seven provinces of the kingdom of Ahasuerus,

[with] words of {peace} and truth,

{peace}

with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine

mischief [is] in their hearts.

peace The LORD will give strength unto his people;
the

LORD will bless his people with {peace}.

[are]

for war.

man of

understanding.

war,

and a time of {peace}.

given:

and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name
shall be

called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting

peace Of the increase of [his] government and {peace}

[there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his

kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with

to

[him that is] far off, and to [him that is] near, saith the LORD;

{peace} to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a

flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon [her]

peace Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! surely thou hast
greatly

deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have
{peace};

whereas the sword reacheth unto the soul.

heart;

my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my {peace}, because

thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm

daughter] of

my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when [there is] no

{peace}.

in

the land of {peace}, [wherein] thou trustedst, [they wearied
thee],

then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?

through

the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the

loathed Zion? why hast thou smitten us, and [there is] no healing

for us? we looked for {peace}, and [there is] no good; and for
the

time of healing, and behold trouble!
