mortar And they said one to another, Go to, let us
make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for
stone, and slime had they for {mortar}.

mortar And they made their lives bitter with hard
bondage, in {mortar}, and in brick, and in all manner of service
in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve,
[was] with rigour.

mortar And they shall take other stones, and put
[them] in the place of those stones; and he shall take other
{mortar}, and shall plaster the house.

mortar And he shall break down the house, the stones
of it, and the timber thereof, and all the {mortar} of the house;
and he shall carry [them] forth out of the city into an unclean
place.

mortar And] the people went about, and gathered [it],
and ground [it] in mills, or beat [it] in a {mortar}, and baked
[it] in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as
the taste of fresh oil.

mortar Though thou shouldest bray a fool in a
{mortar} among wheat with a pestle, [yet] will not his
foolishness depart from him.

mortar I have raised up [one] from the north, and he
shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my
name: and he shall come upon princes as [upon] {mortar}, and as
the potter treadeth clay.

mortar Because, even because they have seduced my
people, saying, Peace; and [there was] no peace; and one built
up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered [{mortar}]:

mortar Say unto them which daub [it] with untempered
[{mortar}], that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing
shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy
wind shall rend [it].

mortar So will I break down the wall that ye have
daubed with untempered [{mortar}], and bring it down to the
ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and
it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof:
and ye

shall know that I [am] the LORD.

mortar Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall,
and upon them that have daubed it with untempered [{mortar}],
and will say unto you, The wall [is] no [more], neither they
that daubed it;

mortar And her prophets have daubed them with
untempered [{mortar}], seeing vanity, and divining lies unto
them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not
spoken.

mortar Draw thee waters for the siege, fortify thy
strong holds: go into clay, and tread the {mortar}, make strong
the brickkiln.
