meaneth Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath
the LORD done thus unto this land? what [{meaneth}] the heat of
this great anger?

meaneth <1SA4 -6> And when the Philistines heard the noise of
the shout, they said, What [{meaneth}] the noise of this great
shout in the camp of the Hebrews? And they understood that the
ark of the LORD was come into the camp.

meaneth <1SA4 -14> And when Eli heard the noise of the crying,
he said, What [{meaneth}] the noise of this tumult? And the man
came in hastily, and told Eli.

meaneth <1SA15 -14> And Samuel said, What [{meaneth}] then this
bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen
which I hear?

meaneth Howbeit he {meaneth} not so, neither doth his
heart think so; but [it is] in his heart to destroy and cut off
nations not a few.

meaneth But go ye and learn what [that] {meaneth}, I
will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call
the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

meaneth But if ye had known what [this] {meaneth}, I
will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned
the guiltless.

meaneth And they were all amazed, and were in doubt,
saying one to another, What {meaneth} this?
