keeper And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel
was a

{keeper} of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

keeper And the LORD said unto Cain, Where [is] Abel thy

brother? And he said, I know not: [Am] I my brother's {keeper}?

keeper But the LORD was with Joseph, and showed him

mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the {keeper} of the

prison.

keeper And the {keeper} of the prison committed to

Joseph's hand all the prisoners that [were] in the prison; and

whatsoever they did there, he was the doer [of it].

keeper The {keeper} of the prison looked not to any

thing [that was] under his hand; because the LORD was with him,
and

[that] which he did, the LORD made [it] to prosper.

keeper <1SA17 -20> And David rose up early in the morning, and
left

the sheep with a {keeper}, and took, and went, as Jesse had

commanded him; and he came to the trench, as the host was going

forth to the fight, and shouted for the battle.

keeper <1SA17 -22> And David left his carriage in the hand of the

{keeper} of the carriage, and ran into the army, and came and

saluted his brethren.

keeper <1SA28 -2> And David said to Achish, Surely thou shalt
know

what thy servant can do. And Achish said to David, Therefore
will I

make thee {keeper} of mine head for ever.

keeper <2KI22 -14> So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor,

and Shaphan, and Asahiah, went unto Huldah the prophetess, the
wife

of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, {keeper} of the

wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college;) a

nd they communed with her.

keeper <2CH34 -22> And Hilkiah, and [they] that the king [had

appointed], went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum
the

son of Tikvath, the son of Hasrah, {keeper} of the wardrobe; (now

she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college:) and they spake to he

r to that [effect].

keeper And a letter unto Asaph the {keeper} of the
king's

forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of

the palace which [appertained] to the house, and for the wall of
the

city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And

the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon
me.

k

eeper After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over

against his house. After him repaired also Shemaiah the son of

Shechaniah, the {keeper} of the east gate.

keeper And let the king appoint officers in all the

provinces of his kingdom, that they may gather together all the
fair

young virgins unto Shushan the palace, to the house of the women,

unto the custody of Hege the king's chamberlain, {keeper}

of the women; and let their things for purification be given
[them]:

keeper So it came to pass, when the king's commandment
and

his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered
together

unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was

brought also unto the king's house, to the custody of

Hegai, {keeper} of the women.

k

eeper Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of

Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his
daughter,

was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what
Hegai

the king's chamberlain, the {keeper} of the women, appoi

nted. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that

looked upon her.

keeper He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a
booth

[that] the {keeper} maketh.

keeper The LORD [is] thy {keeper}: the LORD [is] thy

shade upon thy right hand.

keeper Look not upon me, because I [am] black, because
the

sun hath looked upon me: my mother's children were angry with me;

they made me the {keeper} of the vineyards; [but] mine own
vineyard

have I not kept.

keeper And I brought them into the house of the LORD,

into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a
man of

God, which [was] by the chamber of the princes, which [was] above

the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the {keeper

} of the door:

keeper And the {keeper} of the prison awaking out of
his

sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword,
and

would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been

fled.

keeper And the {keeper} of the prison told this
saying

to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore

depart, and go in peace.
